With a very quick trip out to Glenmore Park from the city I had plenty of time before the January Event so decided to grab a few caches in the spare time.
I left the geomobile in a side street and walked across.
I'm really surprised that despite the drought and smoke everywhere is so green out here and that's not just the golf course through the fence. All the lawns and nature strips look great too and lots of people were mowing this afternoon. There was a real hum of the lawn mower in this area.
From the fence in the lake I could see an Australasian Grebe in the very nearest corner then it was time to turn my attention to the cache.
A nice quick find, so time for some more.

Took the opportunity whilst in the area to pick up a few clues in the latest GC game. Easy find, all in order here.
This area has seen a couple of cachers today and I am starting to look for the type of hide that is a favorite of Renski00. No magnet this time but is still a micro and in some locations you could have hidden something larger. I always try to hide the largest container that will fit the area. My last four hides have all been large as will my next in Glenmore Park.
Well as normal the ageing Bushfire has replaced this guy as if it was one of his.

Found at 11:42hrs, 3 of 3 located today.
GPS co-ordinates were good and led me straight to the cache. Retrieval however was a little tricky, given its situated at a round-a-bout, and facing a golf course.

Decided to finish the month with a few finds. And I've not been out towards Glenmore Park for a while - and I see that a number of new caches have taken up residence.
Decided to pick out four, three of which I noted had moved in where a previous series had recently been.
My initial fourth target though was muggle central, so picked an alternate.
Got all the ones I attempted.

OK looks like it has to be... Erm, no. Or... nope. And then the muggle golfers turned up at the nearby tee. I was certainly noticed, and one kept looking at me. But my fingers finally found the container and as soon as they had moved on I signed and replaced and got out of there.

This was published just after we arrived home from hosting our annual event at Warragamba and after doing some domestic duties was still unlogged at 7 PM so we decided to see if we could nab a quick FTF.
The area around the Golf course is familiar territory as we had a cache series around the fence.
