Logs
Last time we were here to find this cache we soon discovered that we needed some extra height to retrieve it. Today we came armed with a TOT for the retrieval but came away empty handed. Perhaps this needs to be checked?
Took me awhile to spot the container, previous logs helped me, thanks for the placement
DNF-ing this because I'm short Will return if I grow or have tall person with me.
Out to collect a few caches while heading towards the local meet and greet event this afternoon with ilook4geo. This was a nice quick and easy find, but needed a bit of assistance to get cache in hand. The log was signed as GP2, then all was put back where it had been found. Thank you Renski00 for placing this cache.
This cache was quickly and easily found with goingplaces2 while we were out enjoying a spring afternoon of caching. Log signed as ilg. TFTC.
Found after a duration of th GPS playing games with me - A tad close to the vicinity to high traffic area be inconspicuous but not the kind of inconspicuous you 'shouldn't' be near a PS and PG area... TFTC
Time for another day chasing mint tins with marj01. With a predawn start we headed from the eastern suburbs out west to Penrith. We started caching at Wallacia and made our way north through the suburbs to Jordan Springs. We had lots of finds which included trads, multis and mysteries; also some dnfs that were too well hidden for us to find or weren't there. I lost count on the number of mint tins found but there certainly wasn't an oversupply. Thanks to all the CO's for placing their caches and TFTC
CACHE #212
Time: 13:09
Finds today: 1 of 3
Parked nearby and circled the location. Found GZ without much trouble, but reaching it was something else. Mainly because the container was magnetic, and every time I thought I had a hold of it - it would pop back into place. After about 10 minutes of patience - CIH.
Signed log - replaced as found. TFTC

Seeing previous logs I was disappointed I didn't check them first... then grateful I didn't need the suggested tool. So very grateful after a couple of DNFs this morning and the temperatures rising way above my comfort level! TFTC.
A medical appointment brought me to Penrith today and while here, I took the opportunity to also grab the caches that have sprung up since I was last here.
A straightforward find here (partly because so many logs have talked about the difficulty of reaching the cache) but I had to stand on my tippy toes and stretch to be able to bring the cache to hand. Some wasps have started nesting near GZ so one needs to be watchful when searching. Thanks for the find renski00.

Grabbing a couple of caches before visiting Mum. The day is allready to heat up.
Quick spotting but how to retrieve was an issue, got there thou. TFTC

Spent some time looking for this but after reading the logs realised we didn’t have the necessary TOT to retrieve it. Will return.
Not 1.5 terrain. If this were my cache I would make the terrain 3, to give finders the useful information they might not be able (basically almost everyone) reach this without a boost. I used a stool to stand on and even then it was a slight stretch. Terrain should be corrected to match reality.
TFTC Renski00.

I have to agree with my old friend Golden Wattle as I had to return to the White Beast for one of my tools to gain access to the cache and am happy to see that the owner has changed the T rating.
I think Renski00 must be a tall cacher!!!!
I do carry a ladder but did not have to break it out.
Thanks Renski00 for your correct response.

After grabbing a salad roll for lunch we drove on to attempt this cache. Mr MR soon had it in hand. SL TFTC
YGAT needed a find to fill a blank on her caching calendar so we drove over at lunchtime to attempt this one. The area around GZ has seen better days but hopefully they're fixing it up.
The cache location wasn't quite as suggested by the satellite view but it was quickly spotted nonetheless.
Good one, thanks Renski00.

#2434 walked here to find the cache there was where I wanted to look compared with where the GPSr said was GZ, only about 5 metres difference which matched the accuracy showing on the GPSr. Had a quick glance at where the GPSr wanted me to be but nothing there. So went where I thought and spotted something. Almost couldn't reach it but got it in the end
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache Renski00

So sorry to all COs for my tardiness in logging my finds, it has been a very hectic time, therefore I will be pasting this message on all 37 outstanding logs. The majority of finds were with Deep_99 unless he is the CO or I was out of town. TFTC

Day in Penrith to find the new caches that have come out. Signed and replaced. Cache all good. Tftc
TFTC,
This one was a bit out but most cachers will not have a problem.
2 caches place in November 2018 to get my statistics correct for the Challenge.
Visited trackables.

#5582 (2 of 5 today)
Need two caches today for my calendar finds goal. Having been out this way a few days ago, I noticed there were five caches just north of the motorway.
As I started making my way here I noticed there were two mote caches here - and one is still unfound. OK, I'll hit all five *SP - SOUTHSIDE* caches. Of course almost immediately that unfound cache was logged - that'll teach me not to have kept an eye on publishing - but I can still find five today and I'll have two left.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Walked the long way around due to the asbestos testing nearby. Interesting, there's some of that happening near home too.
The iPhone wanted me in a less logical spot than another nearby. Still I checked it and nothing (interestingly a later find in the series was a similar hide). So then I moved to the more logical. And spotted it quickly.
Completed signing duties and replaced. And now a walk around to *#3* in the series.

Doing a warm up caching day, a week before my 9 day caching holiday.
Thought this would be a good one to add to my list of finds.
Thanks for the cache.

#4766- Last for the day with thomo31 and a November souvenir to boot. Nice and quiet here because of the park bordered off. I wouldn't have got it without my personal TOTT, thomo31. Quick find. Thanks
Found with WaywardWoman. Our last cache today before heading home as the day heats up. My height helped us retrieve the cache. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
The WaywardWoman’s log helped me here too and it was found in the second spot I checked.
TFTC.
TFTC.
The WaywardWoman's log also helped us here, but even had we not seen it, we would have been able to ring her, knowing she had been out with Thomo. Thanks
#5,711
Actually I think Thommo's log is the one that provides the best guidance here, or a combination of her & Wayward Woman's logs. It was a quick find after we read her log.
Namaste

A stinking hot day in the west and I bided my time at work, hoping that the heat would prevent other FTF hounds from coming over and taking away what is RIGHTFULLY MINE!!!! I'm sorry...I got carried away there.
Once I was free from work, I took off...being careful, of course, not to run down any innocent bystanders (that's one for the CO), and I was on my way in a matter of minutes.
I believe that the grounds that are closed were featured of one of those current affairs shows recently, where some moron in a 4WD churned up the grounds for the pleasure of his own...member?! Two years ago, I came down here with a school soccer team and the games were called off because of another moron of the same ilk.
the hide was spotted quite quickly and I was quite chuffed to be first to find...and I moved on to the other one across the way for another. TFTC Renski!
