Logs
After checking a previous log that pointed me in the right direction, I finally located the cache. On the way back to my car I had quite the unexpected encounter one of the Transport for NSW solar panels next to the road got knocked down by the wind. It missed me by about a meter! That was a little too close for comfort, but I'm glad I managed to dodge it. I reported it to the authorities to ensure no one else gets too close to it.
SideTracked find 258.Great to find another SideTracked cache. I also have a handful of trackables to find homes for, and seeing this was marked a 'small' I thought one might fit. Wasn't to be though, as it's more a 'micro'. I did manage to leave a small piece of jewelry. A train came through while I was here. Cache and log are good. TFTC Aussiebrian. Now onto your next SideTacked offering .
Have lived not far away since 2003, but never had reason to stop here. A relaxing little diversion on a glorious sunny day in late autumn. Enjoyable chat with people stopped here (for the night) in their super-long van. All the way from Narellan!? Not a hard find this time thanks Aussiebrian. Maybe Ill try Leppington again!!
Nicely hidden. Lots of traffic so had to wait a while to discover the cache without others seeing. TFTC
After spending yesterday leaping around Sydney, I'm getting side tracked on my way to Canberra today. A straightforward find here ... and I timed it nicely to be able to capture a photo of a train passing by.Thanks for providing me with this opportunity to add to my SideTracked finds tally, Aussiebrian.
Well, I'm FTF under the new name.A cooler day was predicted so I drove down heading off the main drag at Campbelltown for the drive to Menangle. I've only been this way once before and it is really picturesque but there was a lot more traffic today! After finding the cache I walked towards the river to get a better view of the railway overpass structure. Some wonderful construction history here!FP - I shall have to go on a train down this way so I can see it from the rail perspective.I have not been able to find any information on the station but I would think it would have been solely for produce pick up and drop off being as this was a farming area and luckily still has not become residential.TFTC # 5792
Will contact SideTracked Series to get this one added to the list.A new log was added but it will not quality as a FTF.
Found It!A quick find. Impressive bridge but trains to be seen here today.TFTC

Streak Day #3710 - Out with Dave8153 for our cache of the day, stopped by for a quick find. TFTC
In the area picking up a few caches. I can remember many moons ago that this road would always be flooded when there was a big wet season.
Easy find . All good.
Thanks Aussiebrian for the hide,

Thanks Aussiebrian for the hide,
This cache was found while on the road with ilook4geo and the log soon had two more names added to the list. All was in good order and was replaced as found. Thank you to Aussiebrian for placing this cache.
Out on a cache hunt with goingplaces2 and this was one of the caches we had on the 'to do' list. It didn't take long to find and the signing soon happened. TFTC.
After finding two more caches along the Georges River to completes another loop of our D/T, we took the opportunity to drive around and collect some more caches. Nice easy find at GZ. With the cache in hand, we signed the log then replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache Aussiebrian.

No luck for me today, and given that it's only a 1.5 and was last found in January maybe there's a chance it washed away in the flooding earlier this year. Or maybe I just couldn't find the thing TFTH anyway
Easy find. Had to wait for a long goods train to pass over the bridge before returning to my vehicle. Not going under there with a train overhead. TFTC
3rd for the day with the family.

Have driven past this place quite a lot and today only had time too grab this one as we found a large branch that had fallen from one of a large trees up the road and had to return home to grab the chain saw. Will have to take the chain saw with us in future. TFTH.
Found and forgot to log so back dating. We had thought we could find the island cache before dark but realised we were out of time, plus mozzies were attacking in 100's probably made worse by the recent floods, there was sludgy mud everywhere still. We found this one further up the road with ease but upon returning to the car the mozzies were really bad here as well and filled the car as soon as we opened the doors to get back in. We scratched and chased them out the car and sprayed areo-guard the whole way home!!!TFTC
Just catching up on logs from the past couple of weeks. Was caching with Meritonnn and Ad0nis. Managed to find this and it had a lovely little starfish swag inside. TFTC!
On a mission to get through my list of local caches which I've not found yet - very happy to cross this one off the list today Many thanks Aussie Brian!
On the walk to gz from the parking spot we were just about to walk under the bridge and realised why the poor trolls here go so annoyed by the train noises. Tftc
Another nightly geoventure with Mizcupcake tonight. Grabbing some quick and easy finds on the way to Camden. Stopping here for our first cache, we decided to park the geomobile just past the bridge and walk to GZ. Getting closer we both went over to the same spot, and once the torch was shone we could see our prize. Another quick and easy cache that doesn’t take long. TFTC!
Out on another night adventure with Littl3Vix, we have decided to hit up the Menangle Camden South area tonight and this was our first stop. After pulling over and parking just after the bridge, we jumped out and wandered over to GZ. Once there, we had a quick scan around before diving into the search in between passing cars. After not too long, we ended up at the same spot that we both thought it could be and together quickly came up with the cache. We took it back to the car to complete signing duties and then returned the cache where we found it. Thanks for the Troll!
Quick grab. My fear of spiders didn’t stop me as the cache was protected by a spiders web. Logged signed, Little something left behind and took my first trackable to help get it to where it’s wants to go.
Tried to do the other cache just down the road but the rain we have been having has made the track very muddy so will comeback another day

Returning from an excellent day in Sydney I was looking for a small to large cache that was an easy find leave a trackable that really needed to go on its journey. Signed the log and returned cache to its hide'y hole exactly as found. Thanks for bringing us here for an awesome adventure. It's such fun driving during the night and collecting caches as you travel, so long as they are straightforward locations. I tried another location up near Ingleburn in the bushes but didn't find the cache. I got some kind of a bug on me and when I got home an hour later and climbed into bed I felt a nip. I had a scratch and didn't think much of it, but for some reason felt drawn to that spot again. I felt something there like a think hair and tried to pluck it out, but it wouldn't budge and so got me a little annoyed. Now that was a good thing as I discovered the little bug which I popped between my fingernails. I have no idea if it was a baby tick or not, but I am glad I took noticed and dealt with it.
**The Day**
I was planning to take the kids to Penrith ice skating as a birthday present but with Covid on the rise and some restrictions still in place I realised it may not be open. I decided to leave it till another time, so decided to head to Sydney and collect a couple of early old caches - Lane Cove and Mosman, and then head into the city for a couple of caches, over to Kings Cross and down to Maroubra for some solved ones. It was a whirlwind day.

Floating around while the others use their amazing skills to find the cache, well, not much help was needed, *ThrosbyOC* had things well under control. Log signed and replaced and the scene evacuated OCW *Throsbyonchurch* and *DustyJasperJet*. TFTC Aussiebrian! Your efforts in placing and maintaining this cache is much appreciated.

Been meaning to tick this fella off for ages. I drive right past this and the three others I did this morning on a regular basis and always saying to myself, next time. But this morning I decided I’d attack these 4 right after my morning run.
Just wasn’t quite sure where was the best spot to park the geoSuzi. Plenty of options here, but thankfully was a simple find again.

Drove to Campbelltown and Narellan today to try and get a lot of caches in the area. I had not been there for a while since for some reason Campbelltown is my caching nemesis. Today only 2 DNF, so came home happy. A quick find herealthough not under the bridge.

Finally had a day where I could devote a big chunk of time to caching. First day like this for two months! But still needed to be home in time to go out with Geoson #3 and be at our destination by 6pm.
Even so decided I could target Mount Annan / Menangle for a decent plunder. Started with three previously solved Puzzles, then hit five Traditionals including a precious DNF.
On the way home went for a First2Find, but came up well short.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Well there was a logical spot, and that's where it was.
Quick find, sign and replace. Then the walk back to *The Hademobile*.

Off to find clues... as there is a Mystery afoot!
Teamed up with Stumble's Mate for the day. It took us a few caches to decide our signing name was HUMS and boy did we "hums" putting a big dent in the caches around Camden. Thanks to all the CO's and thanks to Stumble's Mate for the wonderful company.

The day started with an early morning event in Mittagong.
Happy Uke mentioned that she was heading up to Camden today to grab some caches and as I had no plans for the day, I asked if she would like some company.
So we headed off with Uke driving and me navigating targeting caches that would help us with the "Mystery at the Museum" event.
All up we found around 31 caches. All are signed "HUMS" as either HUSM or SMHU just didn't cut it.....LOL
Thanks to the CO's for putting these out and apologies for the generic logs.

Found on my walk from Menangle station to Menangle Park station. Lovely rural views along the way. The route got a bit narrow at the bridge over the river, but I made it unscathed. No problems finding, TFTC.
