Hi GLISS!,The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention, or it may not but in the absence of the cache owner performing maintenance and/or disabling the cache to check it out, I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Last found over two years ago. The log and the hint would suggest this cache is long gone and needs to be replaced by the cache owner.

After dropping my son at work in Queanbeyan, I spent the rest of the day caching my way to tonight's events in Goulburn. No sign of this one.

Could be that a new fence has gone in the cache found. Not sure, but we couldn't find it today.
Thanks anyway GLISS!

Looks like there has been some work done around GZ since the last find and it seems the cache may be gone
Made a prickly find here and was caught in the act by property owners. I brought cache over to show them and explain what I was doing and if they were ok with it. They were! TFTC
First of four days of caching around Goulburn, Yass valley and ACT. Weather still good, but a terrible forecast. Making good progress around Goulburn/Crookwell today.

Celebrating our first weekend of freedom after Sydney hit the 70% COVID vaccination level. I needed cache finds for the last mountain challenge, needed to drop off a few TBs I've been holding on to for too long during COVID shutdown, and felt it would be good to get out into the country and spend some money to help the local economies get back up to speed. So, a mission to Goulburn was the perfect solution. We achieved all our goals and had a great day out. It almost felt like life was getting back to normal.
This one was a bit tricky as the lack of mobile coverage here meant it vanished from the map as I approached! I parked somewhere that seemed likely and Charlicorn had a hunt around. After a couple of minutes I stepped out of the car, to the other side of the road and found it immediately. Gotta love the caching spidey-sense. More than 6 months unfound time was a nice bonus too. TFTC!

I spent Saturday and Sunday driving between Yass, Crookwell, Taralga and Peelwood to visit is many of the caches in this region as I could. The new caches near Yass were all very clever hides that provide a great challenge. I fit in the new Adventure Labs in Crookwell in the afternoon before a chilly night at Bummeroo Ford. Sunday started foggy and stayed that way till after 10. I made it to Peelwood for a cache that I was blocked from on my last visit and finished the day with caches near Goulburn before heading home.
Thanks for the cache GLISS!

Day out in Crookwell - Gunning. Found around 25 caches for the day. Most were quickly found, signed and replaced. Here to see the historic spots in the area. Thanks for all the caches.
Found -- 2:37pm -- Thanks for bringing us to this location and Thanks for the hunt *GLISS!*.
**Cache Condition:** Good.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
**Trackables:** None seen in cache today.
**The Cache**
Log good. People are not replacing the caches properly leaving them in the open and the bags unzipped. Not trying to blow my trumpet but I did rebag the log, zipped it closed an folded it as neatly as I could after I signed the log in either our names or our initials in some switcheroo form of LP, DJJ, ToC and then returned cache to its hide'y hole exactly as found. Thanks for bringing us here for an awesome adventure.
**The Day**
Decided out of the blue to head down to Breadalbane for a 'little' caching. It was windy and cold but invigorating. I have really learnt to appreciate Goulburn and out round its back blocks. I never used to like it out this way much, but Geocaching has shone a light out here and I now love coming out around Crookwell, Binda, Grabben Gullen and all those other localities, and I really like finding your caches, *GLISS!*. Part of that is because you are showcasing the history and I really love that.

OCW StumbleTrip today to clean up some more caches in the Goulburn area.
After cleaning up the Mt Grey series and stopping for a bite to eat, we decided to head out to Crookwell and home via Wombeyan Caves. Some of the views we had along the way were magnificent, so if you are thinking of heading out this way......do it!
Epic day out and all caches found were in good condition.
Thanks to CO's for their hides!

What a history - thanks for that, Gliss! I hope that's how I depart - but not yet - caches to find! The lovely old trees could certainly tell a few stories.
Not that we noticed the original wall but building did resemble early dwellings, lovely side road & countryside with wind farms now coming into view, thanks for bringing us along here!
The rain had cleared and the sun was shining, so it made for a lovely day for a drive in the country. After the Crookwell country town event and collecting the caches around the town, we started out journey home collecting along the way.
Lots of wildlife on this road, and the little calves in the fields were playing, was lovely. The kangaroos lead the way down the road and when we arrived at GZ the local pup was across the street barking....all quite natural really.TFTC GLISS!

With us lazying around the house for school holidays, Dad dragged us along for a 2-day caching trip through the rural area of Goulburn and Gunning.
We had lots of fun exploring the area, seeing heaps of wildlife and farm animals and finding some caches.

As the kids (mini rats) were on school holidays I decide to take them for a country drive which involved some caching and an overnight bush camp out. We found plenty rural caches, seen heaps of cattle and sheep, the ocassional roadkill and some amazing countryside, oh and heaps of wind-turbines.
Some house extension across the road had a few eyes on us
Thanks to all the CO's for contributing to the fun we had.

We did not notice much of the original structure, to us it looked just like any old farmhouse. Interesting history though.
Out for the day and picking up some great hides in this beautiful rural countryside.
Nice track down here with lots of history.
Thanks GLISS for the hide.

I decided to target Goulburn, Crookwell and surrounding Gliss caches today. This country side is lovely, been a cooler day is even better today. As I was signing the log and horse came out of nowhere galloping, he hung around and once I gave him a bunch of grass he ate it and took of so fast. Not sure what was in that.

I missed the cache on my first scan, also thought it could be missing from the freshly mowed grass but on a closer inspection there it was.

Having been forced home early by one of the kids, fitzy_1965 and I decided to have a quick from break from working at home to grab a few caches. Didn't really time it right as a dust storm and some rain was blowing through at the time.
All caches were found 'very' quickly today. Loving the history GLISS!

17,087. Found this afternoon with minniek during a quick detour.
Needing a number of caches for my 20/20 challenge we headed out to the Mummell area again to grab some of the newer caches out this way. Such history that we wouldn't really know about without these caches! Quick find here at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and then headed off home.
Thanks GLISS! !!

Autopsies in those days much more interesting. Bitten by an eastern brown probably which I kept an eye out for, in certain locations. If I see lizards feel better. My father always reckoned if you saw dolphins there'd be no sharks. Tried to get a photo but nature has taken its course. Thanks.
I feel like I know this road pretty well by now! Out again for a drive to pick up a few caches including this one.
Thanks,
Thanks,
*FTF* @10:30am with DSD!
I spotted two FTF's that were published three days ago and miraculously still unclaimed, how strange! So when DSD suggested we go up for the event in Goulburn we decided to grab them first!
This was the first cache of the day, and after a fun drive down the highway, then country roads, and kicking up dust, we soon reached GZ.
Made a quick find at the obvious beacon and soon opened up the cache to a blank log, wooohooo!
We briefly celebrated before racing off to Crookwell for the unfound multi-cache!
Thanks GLISS!

Geocache Poem
Woohoo [FTF] at 1030am.
I headed out from Canberra today with Loci612. On seeing that there was a [FTF] that had been unclaimed for three days I kicked it into overdrive and reached speeds of upto 150kmph. Shaving almost 20 min off the trip. We got to GZ, located the cache and signed the logbook. We later found out that the 2TF missed out on the FTF by 15 min. Looks like my crazy speeding paid off. Thank you GLISS! for placing St Bartholomew's Anglican cache. It was found in great condition without any drama. Now onto more caches. This makes only FTF number 65 for me this year. Looks like I am going to have to drive a little faster to get more next year.

My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
Screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.
