I might archive this one and give someone else a turn to hide one here. It's been a tough one to maintain, and I think someone knows the hide and is actively sabotaging it after I replace it.
Checked on this one today and the cache is AWOL. I'll replace it soon, but will have to change location and hide style slightly.
Saw a place that looked like where it might be attached, but couldnt find anything there.Or perhaps I was just geoblind today?
Greetings from Canada . Visiting Byron Bay for a couple of days on our journey through Australia. Found the cache with X2860guy. Cute container. TFTC
Greetings from Canada . Continuing our trip down the Aussie east coast, Calgary-Rose and I headed out on a drizzly morning in Byron Bay and proceeded to spot this one quickly. Interesting story about the ship and history of the area. TFTC
Muggle65 and l spent the night in Byron and decided we would find 1 cache before heading south. We chose this one as it was early and we could still find a free parking place. Matty found this one while l was still logging into my caching app. Nice hide! Thank you for the fun
Found while eating gelato after dinner. In town for a wedding and thought we better grab 1 cache before heading home. Not really in to caching all that much anymore, too many cache police telling everyone how to play the game but really enjoyed finding this one, thanks MattyRX. Signed log as team tatt to save room Key-Tatt and Viper101 also with me. Thanks again.
Quick find. Log book is a little bit scrambled.Thank you for the cache.Greetings from Germany

Spotted it straight away and luckily the muggle factor was low this morning due to drizzly weather. Great Camo, TFTC!
After some strong rain it was muggle free and the hint is very helpful. Thank you!
Vandaag ga ik een dagje wandelen in Byron Bay. Er staat een lekker windje en de golven zijn best hoog. Mooie cache hier, in het zicht en toch weer niet. The Wreck was cache nr 6639 om 10:21. MattyRx bedankt voor de cache!Volg me op instagram voor : gc_badmintonner
First time in Byron Only had to wait a little while for the muggles to pass. Tftc
My first attempt at this was muggled out. After waiting the muggle left and I was able make a quick find.I love how things in plain sight are overlooked by most.TFTC
Very clever hideTook two seperate days to get clear of people as seat is popularTFTC
Out for the day with Peppa and this time I had a plan. With this current Wheel of Challenges still in progress, I thought it would be great to grab most of the caches needed for this challenge as well as another LGA I don't have in this area.
Driving down the motorway, we played I-Spy and caught up on the latest gossip.
Parked nearby and on approach, found a young lady sitting on the seat quite happily chopping up some dried grass to make a special cigarette. She was set for the morning.
Decided we would move on rather than bother her.
Will come back another time.

Three weeks vacation in Australia and the last one has started before we go back to Germany. From Coffs Harbor we went to Byron Bay today. Very pretty here. During a first walk we passed the can and were allowed to sign the logbook. DFDC.
Found this one after returning from the beach. Nice hide .
Thanks for the cache!

In between a cleansing ale or two nearby, I mosied on down here for a look but alas, there was a couple of muggles right next to what looked like GZ based on the coordinates (and confirmed by the hint ).
A bit later, I journeyed back to find some different muggles nearby again. Thankfully though, they weren't in for the long haul and once gone, my expectations were realised so I was finally signing the log at 17:45 while admiring the finale of the sunset.
TNLNSL, although a few of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks MattyRx.

Apologies for the late log here (13.01.24) but I've had a busy time since getting back to the UK.The joy of early starts thanks to sleeping in the car, is free parking before restrictions cut in. And thus it was here, with a morning leg-stretch for caches and an AL stage. Lovely. QEF here, although it's a cute one with a great view. Thanks for a fun cache.TNLN-TFTC!SP (UK) on an epic trek right around the world.
Great hide and lovely view. Needed the seat as I had just walked 2 Kms from the caravan park, however I forgot my pen so will drive back tomorrow to log properly. TFTH
Beautiful area and interesting history. Don't fancy the swim out myself Fab cache container! Greetings from West Yorkshire, UK and TFTC! FP for the container
Out for a Friday drive down memory lane with PirateLinda and my dad. Had to make friends with some muggles to get to the cache. Beautiful day to be by the beach! Tftf
Twomanytrailers used to live down this way helping her parents run the local bakery. So seeing as it is a beautiful day and Poppy has flown in for the week we thought we'd go for a drive and take a trip down Memory Lane.
GZ was easy to find and the cache quickly spotted, however there were a couple of Muggles having a lovely chat. No worries for me - time to make some new friends .
After an introduction and a chat, said Muggles now know all about Geocaching. Lovely to have a freshly Maintained Log to sign by Trailers and myself. I do love a Hidden In Plain Site Cache .
Now off to find Poppy some old time locals to reminisce with, I think we'll start at the Pub .
Thanks MattyRx for placing and maintaining this cache

Found where this cache should’ve been and enjoyed reading about the shipwreck! Logbook was not there but got permission to log from CO
Edit: Went back to sign the log as the CO replaced it right after I “found” it. Clever spot but lots of muggles to look out for!

I popped by and replaced this one today. New cache and logbook. The structure that supports the cache is deteriorating a little bit, but should be good for a few more years yet.
We are on our long-awaited journey around the world in 99 days. Second try after canceling in 2020.
Our fourth stop after Los Angeles, Hawaii and New Zealand is Australia.
This time was of course used to find some geocaches here.
Today we were searching for the Traditional **The Wreck**
Thank to the Hint and the good coordinates the little box was found quickly!
After signing the logbook there is a new smile on our geocaching map!
At least we would like to take this opportunity to thank MattyRx for creating and maintaining this Traditional.
Greetings from Nuermberg/Germany
**Wild_Bee_**
P.S. To save space in the logbooks, we not only enter in sequence, but also in empty spaces between.

We find the PVC, but the ist no logbook inside and nit in the era around. We can send a fotolog. Greetings from germany
Looks like the cache has been muggled. Found the right spot but alas no cache to be found
On our way to Byron Bay for lunch and a look around today, such a busy place! Stopped into Ballina on the way to grab 2 unexpected FTF's.
I remember last time I was here I didn't attempt this one as there was a pack of muggles sitting right on GZ. This time coast was kind of clear, so I cruised over scared off a water dragon sitting signed and replaced as quick and discreetly as possible. Walked back over to the car where a police man was annoyed that I was parked in a no stopping zone, oops! luckily he let me off with a warning.

Found GZ and what looks like the hide, but the cache is goooooone. Will send a photo to the CO.
This weekend, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled south to Byron Bay for a long weekend getaway.
On Saturday, we visited the Bangalow markets, Newrybar, and then walked at Killen Falls. It was then a drive along the coast via Lennox Head, Whites Beach and then checking in at Suffolk Park.
On Sunday, we started the day with a hike in Goonengerry National Park before having a late breakfast in Byron Bay. We perused the town's shops, enjoyed Suffolk Park's beach, and then returned back to Byron Bay for dinner.
Finally on Monday, we visited The Farm in Byron Bay, and then later saw the lighthouse at Cape Byron.
Today, it was an early morning start to drive to Goonengerry National Park and subsequently walk the Goonengerry waterfalls trail. An enjoyable start to the day and great to see the top of the falls along the ridge. We then drove back to Byron Bay for breakfast via Mullumbimby, and then walked around the shops of Byron Bay. We decided it was beach time, so after making a quick stop at Tallow Beach to have a moment's silence for the ex-Project A.P.E. geocache, we returned to Suffolk Park and had a play on a nearby beach. In the late afternoon, we checked out Bolli Point walking the boardwalks in that area, and then had dinner in Byron Bay where we had a play on the beachside reserve.
Funnily enough, I have had multiple trips to Byron Bay and scuba-dived Julian Rocks, but I wasn't aware that there was a wreck just off Byron Bay that could be scuba-dived. So upon glancing out to the ocean, we did catch sight of the rudder bar that was barely exposed. A short walk to GZ, and there was a gentleman sitting down playing with his drone, but he didn't seem to concerned with my presence next to him. Subsequently, it was a quick find with thanks to the hint, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. A nicely constructed and camouflaged cache! Thanks MattyRx for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.
