Logs
Spent the day walking around Mangere mountain - 13kms for 13 caches, lovely day in the sun!Last one done, now I can go back home & put my feet up!Log was full so I left some more paper.TFTC! Great series to follow!
Jut the right height for me too see. Had to search several trees before finding the right one
A couple of trees to search, but easy find otherwise. Log book needs replacing. Tftc
Perfect height for my eyeline so a nice quick find. Others may need to search around or get on their tiptoes
With a few hints it was quick to find! The fact that I'm Dutch might have helped TFTC!
Team Pippa for the win! Make sure you are taller than me!! The location is spot on
Out with geodog and geohusband for some lite caching and a trip up the mountain. TFTC
A day in Auckland with rattll, trying to amass some numbers quickly. A short hunt, before finding the cache tucked away. All well in the container. Signed the log, and returned as found. Tftc!
I am targeting getting to 14,000 finds on my anniversary event in a few weeks time, so I'm on a mission today to gain as many smilies as possible - largely with the help of the bountiful supply of ad labs in Auckland. So matagouri and I left Hamilton nice and early.I'd thought I'd found this one on a previous visit, but it still remained unfound on the map, so I'll rectify that today.A bit of a scout around and matagouri found it. Thanks for putting this here
Found w Mrpretty. Very popular spot for muggles be careful when searching. Sneaky lil hide. Tftc
Amazing find had to use a stick to find it.I accidentally looked in the wrong tree the first time looking.Tftc
Back in the Auckland area after a nice road trip south. A few hours left today and all day in Auckland tomorrow, then flying back home.TFTC Wilbert67
We are here on a short break from Australia with Wilbert67. This is one of the caches we found on the trip and we thank you for showing us this place. TFTC
We are on child, dog and cat minding duties this week. Today, we are exploring a part of Auckland we have not visited before (minus cat and dog ). We parked up and noticed this cache. Nicely hidden in a busy area, but no muggles close by. Thanks for the placement, Tramyard.
My first visit to this area in fact my first cache in this area a short stretch for this tidy hide and all was revealed thanks Tramyard for the nicely concealed hide
Felt a bit conspicuous looking for this one as the park is busy today, but managed to nab it. Shame the queue for real fruit ice cream was so long!
Sry it was moved from where we found it but we put it back cause somebody in our group knew where it was supposed to be so we put there note to owner: we found it where it wasnt meant to be but put it back
Another airport pickup today and just time for a few caches.Found the empty bottom half of this cache on the ground and then located the lid in the tree, but couldn't find any sign of the log, so added a new sheet, put it back together and replaced in the place that best matched the hint. TFTC
Took a while to find the right tree, but located a cache. There was a birds nest with eggs in front of it... I think they were real, so very carefully retrieved the cache with some very cute camo. Thanks for the cache, looking forward to completing the trail
Day 10: South Island (Cromwell) and North Island (Mangere)Today was a day in two parts, beginning in the South where we left Cromwell for Queenstown Airport, but not before picking up a few caches on the way before the flight. After landing in a very windy Auckland, the second part of todays journey took me up Mangere Mountain for a little hike and back down to Mangere Bridge to cap the day off. An interesting day indeed, and once again, thanks to the COs on both islands for the multitude of caches of all stripes.(End of the cut and paste bit)This is the specific log for this cache:Second last cache for the day, and I really like how someone described the cache as an Oddish. Well, that was really good fun, and a nice bit of camo here. TFTC!
#542 Snail slime surrounded the hiding spot but I was not to be put off. The cache camo is a bit cute and made me think of a Pokmon (Oddish). Thanks for your recent maintenance.
Our first cache, we spent about 10 minutes trying to find it, but managed in the end!
At last found this little one, which is missing its lid, and bits of the log has torn off.
Was here months ago, did not have enough time to give area a thorough search. This time didn't let the search go to my head
Neighbour's must have wondered why I was climbing the wrong tree, did it because I could, no tree climbing required to find thus one. Small hands, and so twisting eventually wrestled the cache from its hiding place.
Thanks tramyard for the hide and adventure

My plan today was to visit Ambury Regional Park this afternoon and take an extended walk around the western end of the park. With that done I am grabbing a couple of ad lab way points to complete an ad lab before I head for home. This cache was not far from the final ad lab way point and I decided I had time enough to search for this one last cache. Tried a couple of options, one particularly, before I tried actual ground zero. Quick find once in the right spot. Right, time to hit the road for home. Cheers for the cache placement!
Looked for this last week but the tree was full of muggles. Today heading for Tramyard's event in the park we thought we'd get here early. An easy find because there was some rubbish hiding it.
On a mission today gathering Adv.Labs for numbers....as the goal for the year was 1000, and all calculations were pointing to needing 79 finds before the year is up......
Headed over to Mangere Bridge/Onehunga areas first, then over towards Westmere area, stopping along the way for any Trads and the likes that were nearby......
Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining the caches found today, and there were some goodies located.....
