Our day started at 7 am. We were dressed and in the car, ready to head down towards Goulburn with the specific goal in mind of completing as many of the Taralga Trek caches as possible. We arrived at our first cache just after 8 am and completed our journey at 5 pm. We attempted 59 caches in total. Sadly, 6 turned out to be DNFs. Throughout the day, we had to battle the wind to keep our feet on the ground. Despite that, the views from most locations and the journey in between were great. We stopped in at Taralga Hotel and had a delicious lunch between the legs of our adventure. Given the sheer volume of finds today, my logs are pretty generic unless there was something interesting to add. ABOUT THIS CACHE: We searched every fence post within a reasonable distance from GZ. Sadly, we did not have any luck finding this one.
We searched a GZ for about 10 minutes to no avail. I hope this is just an occasional weekender, as we felt quite intrusive!
Taking the scenic route from Blue Mountains to Snowy Mountains, and enjoyed this among other stops.
Cheers

Wife wanted to stop and look at an old church earlier in our trip but I didn't stop. This time I did but not much to see as it appears to be a private residence now. Still we found the cache.
Thanks
Thanks
Found with sebass19 on an awesome day on the Taralga Trek. We started at about 9:30am and starting heading back towards Canberra at 4pm. All up, 46 caches for the day which is great considering there were a couple of hard ones and DNFs. Very cold and windy day but the drive in this beautiful picturesque rural area was well worth it and the company made it even greater. We had beautiful BBQ pork ribs at the Taralga Hotel which made for a great chance to sit down and have a relax. Awesome effort from all the COs in this area!
Took longer than it should've to spot this one. What a cute looking church, by itself on a flat paddock! TFTC GLISS!!

Using up a day of 'extra' leave (before I lose it at the end of the month) to top up my find numbers for the day. Cached from Goulburn to Laggan via Taralga picking up over 40 caches in total. Cache easily found. TFTC.

**This Cache:**
Wow, the church is for sale!
There is an "Auction" sign out the front
We also googled the real estate agent when we were back in reception and found out it is listed as $750,000!
Thanks GLISS, great spot
**Today:**
Headed out to rural NSW from ACT for a big day of event attending!
First up an event in Gunning, then a Community Celebration in Crookwell and finally another event + CITO in Goulburn! Made sure to also visit a couple other small towns between whilst caching!
Ended up with 35 finds today and hit cache find #15,000 unexpectedly! The milestones sneak up quickly when you don't keep an eye them! A huge month of caching coming up in November as well with the Vic Mega in particular!
Special thanks to GLISS! in particular for the mammoth organisation, as well as Nibletricecakes who also did a huge job in hosting one of the events and cooking up the perfect snags for the brekkie event as well!
Thanks to all the attendees too for supporting the community & all the great catch-ups that were had! Oh and shout-out to Crookwell RSL for managing to cater such a big crowd of both geocachers and christining folk who happily shared the big venue!

It was quite wet this morning and I looked here and there but was getting wet in the process...then there was the homeowner across the road watching me...
Made my way to GZ where the cache was soon to hand, although it took a moment or two to spot. TFTC GLISS!
After visiting Mount Gray and completing an Adventure Lab in the morning, we decided to head towards Taralga to see part of the area we had not visited previously and to look for the caches placed along the roadside. After finding numerous caches in the Taralga Series, we turned around and headed back to Grafton as the sun was getting very low in the sky. We stopped for three caches that we bypassed when driving north. This was one of them.
Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The bison tube needs a more appropriate log than the tatty paper it has at present. Thanks GLISS! for the cache.

#11332 - 9:23:00 AM; Set out on a cold but sunny morning with Sol de lune and Smittengranny on a caching mission north to Taralga then west to Laggan and Crookwell. Seventy three caches found and three DNFs for the day. Logs signed LL, Sdl and SG or similar. Most caches were found without incident and apart from a few soggy logs, were in good condition. A chilly wind came up just before noon, but didn't detract from an excellent day's caching. Apologies for the generic logs. TFTC GLISS!
On this sunny cool Sunday morning I was out caching for the day with Sol de Lune and LuckyL10n. Our main target were the caches along the roads through Taralga, Laggan, Crookwell to Gunning and home to Canberra again. We started this series here as it had been decided to get out of town a bit as we could grab the others at a later date.
We took it turn to jump out and grab and sign the logs, though on occasions all three of us were out searching. Thanks for this series gazza959. All logs were signed with some combination of LSS.

A day out caching with Smittengranny and LuckyL10n up to Taralga, Crookwell and Gunning before heading home to Canberra. A great day for caching, even with the wind being a tad cool...
Lots of GLISS! caches found today and this was the first. No issues at all and our names were soon in the log.
Thanks for the history and showing us the area.

**The Cache**
From *Goulburn* we headed to *Tarlo* to seek out **Church or Pub** the home owner over the road had music blasting, and what a great place to do that - disturbs no one. Found the cache easily enough and we signed the log in either our names or our initials in some switcheroo form of LP, DJJ, ToC and then returned cache to its hide'y hole exactly as found.
**The Day**
We were out the door early today to meet up with out Scout group at *Sutton Forest* who were heading off to *Bookham* for an overnight white water kayaking adventure. We had intended to go back home, but impulsively decided to head down to *Goulburn* and onto *Crookwell*. We made it to *Goulburn* but didn't get to *Crookwell* as quickly as I figured. We went on a long windy adventure instead - Taralga; Golspie; Fullerton; Peelwood; Tuena; Binda; Crookwell; Goulburn. A long day on the road. I was amazed how many caches we had found, and of course I had to round it off. We **had the most fantastic day.**
OCW *Little Panther* and *DustyJapserJet*.

This is another one I thought we'd done. Wouldn't be the first time we found a cache, inspected it, then forgot to sign and log it. Got it this time! TFTC
Finally made the trip around Goulburn, Taralga and Laggan. A big day on the road with lots of caches found. Thanks For The Caches!
Someone was banging about across the road, I zoomed in anyway for a quick find.
I spent Saturday and Sunday driving between Yass, Crookwell, Taralga and Peelwood to visit is many of the caches in this region as I could. The new caches near Yass were all very clever hides that provide a great challenge. I fit in the new Adventure Labs in Crookwell in the afternoon before a chilly night at Bummeroo Ford. Sunday started foggy and stayed that way till after 10. I made it to Peelwood for a cache that I was blocked from on my last visit and finished the day with caches near Goulburn before heading home.
Thanks for the cache GLISS!

Thank you we hit this from Goulburn right up - what a great way to spend the day, everything was nice and green. Thank you for the cache.
We based ourselves in quaint Binda last night and apart from a horrific storm which inncluded hail (not happy with dents in car) it proved to be a good base for many of the geocaches in the area. The countryside is looking awesome and we enjoyed the rural location, wonderful views and history. Thanks to GLISS! for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
On our way home from the St Arnuad Mega, decided to complete this series. Quick find, stamped the log and replaced. Thanks to GLISS!
Couldn't spot this one.
Had a good lock around the fence line, getting in under the tree but no joy.

Had to go back and read what size I was looking for, found it easy once I realised the size. A busy road this morning.
This is a beauty! Ripped my shirt and drew blood when Muggle from across the road came to see what was going on! He has noticed lots of people stopping and wandering about and came over to investigate. I had to explain the system, he asked do we win anything and seemed satisfied that we just enjoyed attaining a funny face on a map! Told him I would put our meeting on the Internet....went off all puffed up with importance! Thanks for the fun, Gliss.
Decided to take a drive to Goulburn, along the back roads.
Picked up caches along the way, and this was one of them.
Signed and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, GLISS!, for us and others to find.

Travelling from Orange to Goulburn today, and enjoying this trail, on a breezy day. Thank you for cache! My hands were almost too cold to close this one!
There are so many interesting places with lots of historical info attached to be found in these parts of the country. Thanks for the info on the cache page and for an easy cache find. Once the log had been signed with ilook4geo, both using initials, everything was put back as it had been found before it was time to move along to the next find. Thank you to GLISS! for this cache placement.
Travelling today with goingplaces2 from Yass to Taralga and picking up a selection of caches. None were too hard to find, each log was noted with both lots of initials. All was replaced as found. TFTC.
Staying in Goulburn for two nights and today we decided to do the Taralga Trek and Taralga Trek Too caches. Many thanks to the CO/s for placing these caches and showing us around your area.
Found the cache and signed the log. Whoever owns the church has kept in good condition. TFTC

AngelG27, Tankengine and I decided to hit the trails near Canberra to pick up some numbers. It was an awesome team - TEs driving skills, AngelG27s food delights and I guess I was just there for my sparkling personality??? Anyway it was a great day out and I loved being with my friends.
We were lucky that we found this one quite quickly. We parked literally right infront of the cache and AngelG27 found it in the second place she looked. After a quick sign of the log and returning it to its rightful place we headed back to the car, just as a muggle turned in and parked next to us. Phew, that was lucky ; ) Tftc GLISS!!!!

Cache 4809 on 10 Mar 2019.
What is not to love about a long weekend - an extra day to go caching! I have a goal to reach 5000 caches at the QBN mega, so a few extra cache trips are required. Power trails are not my favourite type of caching, but doing them with caching buddies makes them bearable! So Tankengine, dty73 and myself headed toward the Taralga series today for some numbers.
TE has most of them already so he was driving, and giving us such useful advice! We also picked up other caches along the way, well why not! All caches found in good order and according to the hint, unless otherwise indicated.
This cache: quick find

This was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and for the information on the cache page. Greetings from Zimbabwe
I have been past here many times. Glad there is now a cache. Easy find once I looked at the right angle. TFTC
