Unfortunately the cache has gone missing again. There is lots of housing construction close by, and the tradies have set up a picnic table at gz under the shade of the tree, making it too difficult to be a cache location. Sadly must archive.
Took the 7yo for a hunt. Waited for a muggle to leave the area. Took them 30mins so we balanced rocks to kill time. Only found it due to an earlier photo. TFTC
Very tiny almost couldn’t find.
My daughter was so excited, first ever find
Forgot the pen through and couldn’t get paper out

Moved the hide as it has been trashed a few times, though I always manage to find the cache container. Still the same great view and birdlife.

Found slightly in from of where it should be, possibly needs a new magnet, Quick and easy, TFTC
Out last for this morning/lunch as miss 2 and miss 4 are exhausted from the last 3 park stop and grabs. Which of course involved lots of playtime too. Thanks for the beautiful ending to our morning.
A short detour to make my penultimate find of nine for the day. I've been here a couple of times to do the Coombs parkrun but never thought to check for caches in the vicinity. A nice and easy find. TFTC.
Exploring the area at the back of Coombs today and grabbed a few caches along the way.

Grabbed it with the kiddos and geodog on our afternoon walk. Amusingly we have been to the geozone many times before.
This week consisted of getting away from work early enough to visit a cache, either on my scooter or driving, to try and continue building up my calendar finds days. Some days needed a specific cache type as well. This week was nice weather wise and made for a pleasant afternoon.
Thanks for the cache charlotteleclerc

Second and last while walking around the area. No problems once at GZ and my name was soon in the log. Cool views over the pond from here.
Thanks for cache and thanks for replacing it so quickly....

So nice looking over the pond from here. I am first to sign the new log. Thank you Charlotteleclerc for putting the cache here in a pretty place.
Walking past the area so stopped off for look. Searched the item at GZ but could find anything like a cache, so expanded the search to other possible spots, but alas still nothing.
Thanks anyway charlotteleclerc.....

Seems the cache may have gone AWOL .... will check and replace if necessary later this week after the heat
Looked with two pairs of eyes to no avail.
May have been cache blind due to being a little bit in a hurry.

After 17.5 hours at work today, I needed an easy cache with just 15 minutes left to find the daily. This one was perfect. A bit late for bird spotting, but seems like a nice spot for it! TFTC!
TFTC Great day for caching again today, thanks to the CO for placing and maintaining this cache.
New log installed. I stayed here for 20 minutes and completed a Birdlife Australia Birdcount. While here I saw, Darters, a White faced heron, Black ducks, Cootes, Welcome swallows, Galahs, a silver gull, a lone Pelican, several Cormorants, Rock doves and a couple of Magpie-larks. This is the main reason I placed a cache here as it is a great bird watching spot, and very peaceful
I spotted the cache as I walked towards it. Good coordinates. Log is full and someone has left a scrap of paper. Needs a CO visit to leave a new log. TFTC charlotteleclerc.
Pond is all full today. As well as the log book. Unfortunately didn't bring one with me today.
Lovely to sit and watch the bird life on the water. Thanks for cache.

We met up with ALL7 for another fun day of Geocaching. We have quite a few to do in and around the Weston Creek area, so on such a beautiful winters day we decided that a walk along the river was in order. After finishing our walk, we enjoyed a coffee and went our own ways. Still a bit time up our sleeve until we needed to be somewhere, we decided to clear out a couple more. A quick find, nice spot to spend an afternoon.
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
A clc trademark to finish my caching expedition today. A bit freaked out as I approached GZ (refer photo). Thanks very much charlotteleclerc.
Quick find on a lovely sunny afternoon with barb2e and Kittykatch. TFTC charlotteleclerc

On our way home from a hike around Uriarra we dropped off to pick up a few key caches. Lovely area to relax on such a beautiful day. Quick and easy find at GZ and a chair to sit and ponder. TFTC charlotteleclerc.
I made use of dropping Pebbles at sport to clear out a bit more of the caches in Wright. A number of caches found, including one previous DNF, but also a new DNF.
Quick find, nice place for a cache. This lake looked pretty in the evening light.
Thank you charlotteleclerc for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

In these coronavirus times, the activity of geocaching seems to fit the bill, providing ample fresh air and exercise opportunities. Today, I sought out several caches in the Molonglo Valley before walking with a muggle friend. This cache was a straightforward find, being in an obvious position even though my device suggested that it was about 5m from the coordinates. Thank you charlotteleclerc for installing and maintaining this cache.
Hurrah! Landscaping works complete. Though still fenced from pond side, able to be accessed from road side. Cache still intact after all these months. Please exercise stealth on retrieval and return.
Currently no access due to landscaping works. Will reenable when able to be accessed.
Nice spot under the tree, but weather makes it hard to linger. Cache found Ok. Thanks
Found at 5:13:00 PM
This is a very tranquil spot. I was here at the gloaming and there was no one around.
Thanks charlotteleclerc

Found on a lovely day out caching in the West. A beautiful location to visit, and also very peaceful today. This pond's huge! All quite amazing really. A quick find at GZ. TFTC charlotteclerc!
Out with Takibi for an afternoon stroll. All found quickly. Nice views from here.
#15844. Day 15 of our 2 weeks holiday in the ACT and surrounds. This is our last day before heading home tomorrow.
What a gorgeous day the ACT has turned on for us, blue skies and sunshine and wonderful autumn scenery as we take the long road to Uriarra Village. Rob is hoping to finish off the Mapping Challenge today so we need to head to the Village for a cache. A most enjoyable day caching away from suburbia. We finished the day with 65 finds and 2 DNFs so can't complain about that.
We had tried to get to this one the other day but with limited mapping on our GPSr we couldn't find the way in. Today using my phone mapping we had no troubles and were here at 9.32am. The water was calm and the area was very peaceful and inviting. We sat and admired the views for a few minutes before continuing on our way.
Thanks charlotteleclerc

The penultimate day in Queanbeyan.
BettyBoo3747 and I decided to head west and investigate the Uriarra Village.
Picked up a small pile along the road out there and back.
A lovely sunny day with lots of bikes on the road.
Our GPSr has an older map and didn't have most of the suburb here, the phone helped a lot.
A nice lake to sit and look over on a Saturday morning.
Thanks, Robmc.
