Nice and quick find. Log signed.Day 4 of our 4 day anniversary road trip to Maryborough and out West. Lots of adventure to be had with my love SCAHPA. Log signed as CS & SC to save time and room - Trademark skeleton animals sticker left in cache - TFTC, effort time and maintenance
After spending the night in town and dining out at the local pub it was time to get out and do colorectal the local area. I am working on a local challenge at home that requires cache numbers in Local government areas and so I need another 80 or so in the Gympie area. This area is rich with caches so off I go. Arriving at ground zero I found a safe place to park the geowagon and off I go. I quickly found ground zero and located the cache. After extracting the log and making my mark I quickly returned to the geo wagon in search of my next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Last Easter, Seffnjarah and I road tripped our way south to Armidale and surrounds, camping, caching and hiking along the way. I had planned a similar trip this Easter to Maryborough and then west to Mt Walsh and was joined at the last minute again by Seffnjarah.
First order of business this morning was to climb Mt Walsh. After a successful mission, we visited Biggenden, where we collected the Adlab cache and I managed to secure a most excellent steak burger from the cafe in town. After collecting a few local Biggenden caches, we are now wandering south collecting a mix of interesting and unloved caches, including this one.
Plenty of roadworks around here with the crew camp nearby. No problems here. TFTC

When other family arrangement for the Easter break fell through, I was lucky to score a ride with Crookedpete for an extended weekend geocaching road trip from Brisbane to around Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Mt Walsh and surrounding areas.
After making it up to the summit of Mt Walsh and back in about 3hrs this morning, that left plenty of time in the day to continue picking up some more caches on our extensive to-do list for the weekend. But first Crookedpete decided he he needed a burger to refuel his body after the strenuous walk and we headed to Biggenden to see what we could find. Surprisingly we managed to find a take away open on Easter Sunday. With Crookedpete's hunger sated, we ventured on to find some local caches before beginning the run south towards home, passing this cache along the way.
Lots of work going on along this road to improve the condition of the road surface. Passed lots of machinery parked up alongside the road. Arriving at GZ we had no problem making the find.
The logbook was stamped with The Bromance team stamp (a slight liberty, with only 2 of the usual 4 members present on this trip, but we are hoping to avoid RSI with the number of caches planned on our itinerary ). TFTC

Found cache and signed log. Returned cache as found. Getting a few caches to try and get a milestone whilst in the Ville. Out with patrol14 and Peppa. TFTC.
A friend mentioned making the Townsville Mega a milestone cache… I hadn’t even thought about it, but what’s a couple of hundred caches between friends…Hence the reason TMZ59, Patrol14 and I are hitting Kilkivan and surrounds…
A quick find once I got up to GZ…. In returning the container, it disintegrated in my hand… sistema is not indestructible apparently…
I went back to the car and got an identical container to replace it with… tftc…

Hi there youngoldfella.
We found your cache **"Hillside View"** today. (This makes our find count 25613).
Back to start some more cache trails from Kilkivan. Today's plan was to head north up Running Creek Road and then continue on to Brooweena - Woolooga Road
It was a really nice drive today, made even better by not having to wade through long grass to find the caches. Our tally today was 44 caches & 0 DNF's.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Either a smiley badge or a gold coin
Thank you for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Today we are back at Kilkivan doing a couple of our favourite pastimes, cycling and geocaching, heading along Running Creek Road for the series of caches placed there. Although it turned out a hot ride we manage to find all the caches . Thanks youngoldfella for the cache.
In town this morning for coffee and then decided to head out along this road for a country drive. Good coords and most caches were found easily enough and once the log was signed all was returned as found.

After an early morning sunrise event it was a drive up to Kilkivan for a weekend event. This is my first event of this type so I am not sure what to expect but I’ve been told they are fun and educational, ok. Today’s kick off was 10am so this gave me a few hours to drive up and get a little caching in before the event started for me.
At the event I teamed up with Willis007 and Ms maddy (who drove) to spend the afternoon collecting a few caches and a few first to finds. Armed with a list and some new coordinates we set off for the afternoon of caching. We had a plan of attack in mind and it turned out to be a good afternoon of caching with a variety of cache sizes, hides and ratings; thank you to the CO’s for the placements of these. Sorry for the generic post for this lot but we did approximately 90 caches around the area.
There were no DNF’s and all caches were found in good order and in close proximity to the given coordinates and or hints. I enjoyed today's caching, thank you.

In Kilkivan for the New Year event, a great opportunity to catch up with caching buddies and meet some new faces.
After setting up at the showgrounds CHAMAD and myself jumped into Ms Maddy's super comfy car and headed out to find some newly published caches along with some tried and true oldies.
A great day spent out and about, enjoying the beautiful country side.
The cache was quickly spotted, log signed and all replaced as found.

Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds or not as the case may be. I have been along for the ride, scooter, kayak, hike, climb, fish etc so may as well claim the finds. Thanks to the many COs along the way who have placed and maintained these caches for our enjoyment and on more than one occassion put up with silly questions to solve the mystery's. Of all the caches I have come to hate the most, those 500 odd piece jigsaws would have to take the honour ??. The multis and earthcaches on the flip side have been the best. TFTC
Enjoying this new year day with our geocaching gang. Deaf PVC (DeafPhantom, DeafVW,Deafcat) thank you
I found your cache with my Dad, Oddiewan and most of the time, Semik. I am way behind on logging so learned how to use templates so I can catch up. Sorry this is not a detailed log, but I will do better with my logging now that I have the ability to log caches on a mobile phone. Thanks for the cache youngoldfella
I found this cache on my Xmas 2019 trip to Queensland however it didn't log automatically from my GPS when I synced it so I am logging it this way.
Thanks for a great caching experiance.
Logged as "Moneydork" before I changed to my new geocaching name "Triggerfish".

Geocaching with my main squeeze, Oddiewan, my best friend, Moneydork and Oddiewan's sons BitternA4 and occassionally Flash_Cat (he bowed out about halfway, but I didn't mark where we took him back to camp) Oddiewan was on a mission and achieved his 400th and 500th finds on this caching trip. I was happy just to see his excitement of reaching his next milestone.

A quick find, but it could have been much more difficult. The CO was very kind to us, by avoiding the large piles of rocks nearby where the cache could have been hidden. See photo.

Out with Liz and Bruce while attending the N.Y. Catchup at Kilkivan. Thanks to to CO's for all these hides.
A big day out around the Kilkivan area has been on the cards for a while to tidy up many of the smilies left behind after the last catch-up.
Co-ords were excellent and containers generally in great shape, making for a good day of searching. Just needed to look out for the occasional stubborn bovine . Looking forward to the next catch-up event.
Sprinkling around some fave points to say thanks.

Did a great circuit today, leaving Kilkivan on the Running Creek Road we headed to Woolooga then returned to Kilkivan through Oakview. We found all of the 41 caches that we looked for. All were in good condition and accurate coordinates made for quick finds.

TFTC. Day 4 of our escape from Bundaberg for a caching exploration around Goomeri and Kilkivan. After our efforts yesterday there did not appear to be too many more caches in the immediate area. We decided to take a run up Running Creek Road. We input the furthest cache along the road, but the geo-vehicle took us on a Cook’s tour out to Woolooga. Ah well! We took the opportunity and cached the loop back to Kilkivan. Should have double checked the map. We managed to get back to Kilkivan before noon, hitched up the car and headed back toward Maryborough. Again thanks to the COs for making our exploration more interesting.
Found while staying in the kilkivan area for about a week before heading for the big smoke down south. Having noticed that there was a lot of new caches placed in the area I set about converting some of them to smileys. This is of of the many I have found so far. All were easy find with no maintenance issues. TFTC
Day two of our geocaching trip around Kilkivan. Loving the country drives. All caches were mostly quick find thanks.
We had a few little moments of worry when we came to wet and muddy patches on the road (it is not tarred in this area) and experienced some slight sliding. We don't have a 4x4 and aside for the mud, the road is quite fine for regular cars, although I would say not in the rain.
1:51:00 PM. This road continues and keeps giving up caches. A great drive and we are glad we kept going. Log signed. Thanks for the cache youngoldfella

After being ill over Christmas and then hurting my back just before leaving for the event at Kilkivan, I had a late start today. Not knowing if my back would hold up or not, I opted to cache on my own. I had bumped into Sweet-Sour and PB1973 and found a few caches with them. They had already found the other caches I wanted to find today, so we parted ways after grabbing a few FTFs together. Back on my own again, I headed to this one.
