Quick find. Cache good.Day 4 of our 4 day anniversary road trip to Maryborough and out West. Lots of adventure to be had with my love SCAHPA. Log signed as CS & SC to save time and room - Trademark skeleton animals sticker left in cache - TFTC, effort time and maintenance

Gotcha
A great day for a drive in the country.
Blue skies, and not a cloud to be seen.
Forecast says it will hot up a bit , so an early start for us.
Burn off then recent rain so lots of fresh green growth in the paddocks.

Day out with Peppa and TMZ59 caching in and around Kilkivan to get our numbers up to maybe reach a milestone at the MEGA.
Once we narrowed down which side it was a quick find. SL then returned as found.
Found on 4 April 2022. TFTC, youngoldfella.

Found cache and signed log. Returned cache as found. Getting a few caches to try and get a milestone whilst in the Ville. out with patrol14 and Peppa. TFTC. BDD found quickly.
A friend mentioned making the Townsville Mega a milestone cache… I hadn’t even thought about it, but what’s a couple of hundred caches between friends…Hence the reason TMZ59, Patrol14 and I are hitting Kilkivan and surrounds…
This was the first time all day we really overshot the cache… hard to say if it’s the great driver or awesome navigation… or maybe a combination of both…
Once I avoided all the obvious places, I actually spotted this cache quickly…. And I didn’t have to wade through a shoulder high sea of grass to get there…

A tough one. Not where I expected but the hint is accurate. Fall for it every time. TFTC

Drove from Beaudesert to Hervey Bay and back in a day for one of my daughters awards presentation for the second time in two weeks. 820 kilometers broken up by caching and meals. Really appreciate the CO's placing all these caches.
All the logs are in good condition unless specified otherwise, and they were all found with ease unless specified otherwise. Paper had been wet once upon a time but today was all dry
Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache and thank you for breaking the drive up **youngoldfella**

With the weather clearing it's time to hit the frog & toad again.
We thought Maryborough might be nice for a change but we couldn't help detouring via the backroads north of Kilkivan which still have so many caches on offer.
#9 of 55 smilies rounded up today.
Quick find.
How do these containers get water in them? [?]
A good inch in the bottom.
The trend towards stamps (which we do use ourselves) seems to make physical logs pointless if they are WITR as it blurs & washes off.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Stayed a day at the Kilkivan free camp so I could grab someof the geocaches I didnt have time to find during NY weekent event. This was one of the many I found today. Found this on the ground replaced it where the hook suggested it should be.
WATCH OUT for the wasps nest near GZ. After being stung I decided to leave this one alone.
Hi there youngoldfella.
We found your cache **"Don't Fall for the Rocks"** today. (This makes our find count 25669).
Today's plan was to head north up along Booubyjan Road and then continue back on to Brooweena - Woolooga Road. Also today we cursed the Garmin Drive Smart, because it has a habit of not showing caches on its map. So we probably missed a couple today and picked up a few we blindly drove past the other day.[:(!]
It was a really nice drive today, made even better by not having to wade through long grass to find the caches. Our tally today was 34 caches & 0 DNF's.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Either a smiley badge or a gold coin
Thank you for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

After staying nearby last night it was an early start so grabbed a few more along the road on our way back towards Glastinbury. Parked nearby and was soon at GZ and made a quick find. Log signed and all returned as found.

Out on a mission with Willis007 and Chamad. I thought the morning adventures were fun, but this trip really added to it. So many laughs. So many issues (rarely with the caches - they were the easy parts!). A huge afternoon that turned into and even bigger night.
After a tumultuous morning of caching it was decided to go out with just three of us this time and cache some of the new caches and grab some older ones as we passed. So now it was just Willis007, 4hawkers and myself. I really thought we could not have any more laughs but the day just continued and I had a stitch from laughing so much.
The caches on this trip were varied, a variety of sizes and hides but all were in good condition. The countryside around here is amazing and just beautiful, thank you for bringing us around here.
Thank you to all the CO’s for placing caches around this area, I really enjoyed the drive around here and finding your caches. Sorry for the generic log but we found approximately 70 caches this afternoon.
This was a nice set of caches down this road.

Day 2 of the New Year event at Kilkivan. Having a wonderful time meeting new cachers as well as catching up with some old faces.
After gathering heaps of caches this morning, it was time to pack up at camp as I needed to head towards home.
TripleTurmoil and CHAMAD decided to join me on the journey up north to find some more new and older caches. We had a super fun afternoon racing around finding these caches, and very much appreciate the CO efforts with these.
This was a quick find, log signed, cache replaced as found.
Thanks YOF for the cache.

We are having a drive along the country roads picking up caches and this is the third one for the day. Very dry out here at the moment. Thanks youngoldfella for placing this cache and we didn’t fall for the rocks. All good with this one. Thanks youngoldfella.
While staying in Gympie with my geodog Scruffy, we just had to find a few caches in the area ...

What a great day to spend New Year’s Day with our geocaching gang DeafPVC (DeafPhantom, DesfVW, Deafcat) thank you
I found your cache with my Dad, Oddiewan and most of the time, Semik. I am way behind on logging so learned how to use templates so I can catch up. Sorry this is not a detailed log, but I will do better with my logging now that I have the ability to log caches on a mobile phone. Thanks for the cache youngoldfella
I found this cache on my Xmas 2019 trip to Queensland however it didn't log automatically from my GPS when I synced it so I am logging it this way.
Thanks for a great caching experiance.
Logged as "Moneydork" before I changed to my new geocaching name "Triggerfish".

Geocaching with my main squeeze, Oddiewan, my best friend, Moneydork and Oddiewan's sons BitternA4 and occassionally Flash_Cat (he bowed out about halfway, but I didn't mark where we took him back to camp) Oddiewan was on a mission and achieved his 400th and 500th finds on this caching trip. I was happy just to see his excitement of reaching his next milestone.
2019-2020 New Years catch up.
My first New Years event. Spending this time with new friends and old. What a way to see the year out and the new one in.
Caching buddies for this trip are Semik, Money Dork, Flashcat and BitternA4.

While travelling south towards Kilkivan with ilook4geo, we decided to pick up a random selection of caches along the road. This was one of the caches that we found without any difficulty. Thanks go to youngoldfella for placing this cache to add another smiley to our caching map.
Out caching on a cooler morning with ilook4geo as we were on our way to Kilkivan for an eventful few days. Cache was found, log was signed, job done! Time to move on again. TFTC.

A great opportunity to cache around Kilkivan. A selection of hides kept things interesting. Thanks to youngoldfella for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Hatzofff has joined with me for some caching around the Kilkivan New Year Event.
Why didn't I fall for the title? Nice one, YOF!

A big day out around the Kilikvan area has been on the cards for a while to tidy up many of the smilies left behind after the last catch-up.
Co-ords were excellent and containers generally in great shape, making for a good day of searching. Just needed to look out for the occasional stubborn bovine
---
Log signed at 05:44 and cache returned as found. Thanks for the smilie and bringing us here **youngoldfella**. This log is trackable, mention where you saw it.

We are on our way to Blackall QOGM, Kilkivan Day 2
After having tea at the pub we were up & away this morning on a circuit we had chosen to do.We really enjoyed our drive around the country side.

Out and about for another day caching from Kilkivan. After searching for quite some time, geowife bent down with exhaustion and spotted the little blighter - should have paid more attention to the cache name!! TFTC youngoldfella
Did a great circuit today, leaving Kilkivan on the Running Creek Road we headed to Woolooga then returned to Kilkivan through Oakview. We found all of the 41 caches that we looked for. All were in good condition and accurate coordinates made for quick finds.

TFTC. Day 4 of our escape from Bundaberg for a caching exploration around Goomeri and Kilkivan. After our efforts yesterday there did not appear to be too many more caches in the immediate area. We decided to take a run up Running Creek Road. We input the furthest cache along the road, but the geo-vehicle took us on a Cook’s tour out to Woolooga. Ah well! We took the opportunity and cached the loop back to Kilkivan. Should have double checked the map. We managed to get back to Kilkivan before noon, hitched up the car and headed back toward Maryborough. Again thanks to the COs for making our exploration more interesting.
Great hide and deserves a favorite. Fell for the trap.

After being ill over Christmas and then hurting my back just before leaving for the event at Kilkivan, I had a late start today. Not knowing if my back would hold up or not, I opted to cache on my own. Heading out after lunch, I was surprised to find that my signature was the first in this log. A sleep in and another **FTF**. Not bad at all. TFTC
Found whilst attending the nearby event in Kilkivan so why not find a cache or 2 always love getting out to the country and some fresh air.
