Found by caughtatwork on 16/11/2024 at 8:25:00 AMOur for a morning cache run before the hear of the day set it. A nice easy find.Took nothing, left nothing. Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.*Overall Experience: 3*GAFF1

Happy Easter Everyone!! On our way to family for Easter lunch, the two youngest Monsters and I went in search of a couple of caches. The youngest Monster had a little search with no success before old man monster had a look and made a fairly quick find!! TFTC!!
A quick find which was a lot more pleasant now the cool change has come through. Loved the plantings and the hare lair nearby. Tftc.
Day out with sassieold55 to Ballarat for the day, a little detour to pick up a cache or two. TFTC
Stop for this one on the way back to the highway. Again no issues and the cache was soon in hand and the log signed. Thanks again Cherad...cache all good.
What a hidden gem of a location. Can see why there are two fairly new houses there.
We walked the last 250m as we were told we may get bogged in our 2WD.
Cache was easily found as promised then we had a look at some of the fauna. I really liked the snow gum.

Out and about on a week away to Ballarat to clean up a few caches and attend an event.
The weather was freezing and drizzling but we still managed to find some good quality caches as we checked out the area.
This is one of the caches found today.
Thanks Cherad for the cache.

This was a nice and easy cache for the kids to find on an afternoons treasure hunting.
Thanks Cherad for placing this cache here, quickly going after a CITO in the Smythesdale cemetery and heading home….. eventually!Happy trails from Deanside
The prickly clue had me looking in Busarias but found it in something more Lomandra: David
Enjoying a few caches as it's been a while for us and miss collecting smiles. TFTC

With today being 2'sday I decided to head up the highway to attend a nearby event followed by a CITO. I arrived in Buninyong with plenty of time to spare so I had time for a couple of caches first.
This one took quite a bit of finding. The little fella really didn't want to be found. I originally thought I was going to have to DNF it but after talking to RoamingHowie at the next cache he asured me it was there so I returned for the find.
Thank you Cherad for the smiley

Happy Palindrome Day! It’s twosday and palindromes and events are all around. Even the GeoRanger got in on the action with some palindromic odometer readings. A day trip to Ballarat for the CITO and a few other finds as I work up to my 6666th find - what a perfect day for it!
A tricky hide well hidden. I almost gave up and then I felt it!
Thanks Cherad for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

Out for a drive to Buninyong and decided to grab a few caches at the same time. TFTC
Thanks for the cache.. cows watching us trying to find it. Fav from us. Tftc
Out for the day with Sorceysal, and we thought it would be cooler near Ballarat today. We couldn't have been more wrong, as the temp steadily climbed to 37 degrees by 530pm.
This was another quick find with the accurate coords, although we were very wary walking through the long grass today, thanks again Cherad

Out with bogonghazy today to what we thought would be a cooler place to cache. NO!!!! Just as hot here as in the Marsh.
Accurate co ords led us straight to this one with the cows watching our every move.

The electric fence is still there but with no sign of any animals ever being in there. The replanted trees are doing well and the cache container was found a nice distance away, which we hope will save them from any damage. SL TFTC
Found after attending a CITO at Scotchmans Lead this morning. Took a few minutes and we widened our search, not quite sure what we were looking for, then we found the cache just before we gave up, right where the coordinates said it would be. TFTC Cherad.
Found by Mary and David at 16:10. Here for the Events later this evening. Guess that the electric fence was installed when roadside grass was a higher priority for stock. Getting quite cool already. We did take note of the lovely trees already here. Our thanks to Cherad.
The day was spent caching in Enfield state park along back roads enjoying the solitude.
Now I was back on made roads gathering a few more.
Yippee First to Find, NOT. Seems the local has taken it upon themselves to claim public land as the the sign wouldn't be placed on private land.
I was surprised how quick i was able to make the find and sign a blank log
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache Cherad

Coordinates changed to:
S 37° 39.145 E 143° 51.835
Distance from original: 49.6 feet or 15.1 meters.
Due to a local "claiming" the roadside with an electric fence this cache has been moved across the "road" and to the site of the plantings, size of the cache increase to small.
This is now ready to go again

I found this cache not realising it had been disabled as stated a previous cacher mentioned the log is a soggy mess and I Had to crawl under what looked like an electric fence to it. Normally I would try to replace a wet log but I didn.t have anything that small with me. TFTC.
Found at 3:29 PM GAFF1.
There were 3 issues with this cache:
1. It started to rain and the wind was cutting right through p-pprass [B)]
2. The log roll was pulp - but I still managed to stamp it.
3. There was an electric wire to stop people from accessing the verge - but I still stepped over it and nearly fried the family jewels
Thanks Cherad

Good coordinates helped for a nice quick find the log paper is rather wet so I was not able to sign it interesting spot close to home thanks for bringing me here
I headed to Ballarat for a lunch event and a tree maintenance event. That gave me some time to grab some caches on the way there, as well as a few afterwards. When I couldn't get to one cache, I headed to this one, only to find that this was the correct way to the other one. Nice quick find.
My thanks to Cherad for the cache.
My thanks to Cherad for the cache.
Was in the area to attend a CITO so this was quite an appropriate cache to collect. Thanks for placing it here and showing what can be accomplished. Rather wet today but nice quick find.
An early start with Bushfire to attend the breakfast event and a bit later the nearby CITO. To use this time well we collected several nearby caches I don’t think we chose the best access to this as it was quite an adventurous drive. TFTC Cherad
A late decision to go to Ballarat today to attend two Events and to grab the four remaining jewels required for the current souvenir hunt and this guy gave me another that I required.
After attending two Events in Ballarat, one social and the other a Tree planting CITO it was time to do a little hunting.
I had my very good friend Faye (au.fait) for company who is an excellent navigator and a good hunter so I had the best of both worlds.
The day started with frost everywhere and the White Beast telling me to be careful of the roads due to ice as the outside temperature was only two degrees.

Out and about in search of jewels to help solve the Museum Mystery challenge originating in Seattle. Mind you it is summer up there, while we have to play in the depths of winter. Luckily a quick find and back to the warmth of the vehicle.

Quick find on the way home after some caching around Lal Lal today.
Was tempted to continue driving down the track to find the Union Jack Creek cache but as it was so wet and this was a revegetation area though that might not be very respectful so left that one for another day.
Thx Cherad ftc, look forward to coming back in the future to see how the trees have grown. Cheers

TFTC. On the road to attend the event in Buninyong and decided to attempt a few on the way. We always leave a little bit of extra time to attempt some caches. The normal 1 hour trip generally takes a little longer. Well a lot longer really.

Been up here tree planting several times. Drove past this sign without thinking. On the way back I realised what I had done. I stopped and signed in.

Heading towards Ballarat we made a quick detour to add the 2 Union Jack Creek caches to our port folio. A quick find as we made the stretch.

Suscoe headed up the Midland Highway today to attend a Rotunda event and to find a few caches along the way.
It was warm when we left Geelong late morning and the day ended up with 33 degrees and loads of sunshine.
We always enjoy a trip to Ballarat and today was another pleasant outing.
Thanks to Cherad for this hide.
Some folks have been very busy planting this area up, will look a bit different in 20 or 30 years time we expect.

These two caches were the last finds today for me as I made my way home via Buninyong.
Interesting plantings going on here. May they all prosper!

Thanks so much for having a couple of caches here. Thoroughly enjoyed finding them and coming to a spot I didn't know about. TFTC
Find #2038 for me. Found at 3:10 pm while on one of my regular trips from Bendigo to Ballarat to visit Mum for lunch and find some more Ballarat caches in the afternoon. Wow, so many caches had been placed around Ballarat and Creswick since my last visit that I had to work out where to start, but several of these were around the Buninyong-Magpie area so it made this cache a good target. After parking a short distance away in the shade I made a quick find in a likely spot. Thanks for bringing me here today Cherad and for highlighting some of the local endangered flora planted in the area, and thanks of course for the cache!
I headed out here to raise the geocaching flag today
And at the end of the 'road' I found a cache ... Hooray
Better yet there was a lot of interesting stuff to read about what has been going on out here
The cache was an easy find [^]
So nothing for it but to go for a stroll to the nearby cache
TFTC.

What a wonderful day for caching... but my fellow hadn't ever had the car stopped before he had this one in his hand... i better be quicker next time.
After caching with the kids and muggle husband on the way over, I dumped them at GemmaSistema's house and headed out with her for some more.
A nice trip across town to fill in a Saturday arvo and a nice quick find. TFTC

A spare hour or two saw becca85 and I head out and nab a few caches. A quick find here in a cool spot. We didn’t venture further down the road to the next cache as I wasn’t sure my car would make it! I’ll be back. Many thanks for the cache.
Found it today in the warm summers day of the new year, it is so nice to get out and find some new places. TFTC
Joined the Nicnax team with PapaGrouch and SciFiRulz on a beautiful summer evening. Found the cache quickly and enjoyed the interesting area. Nice going Cherad TFTC
Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch and MazzyMay. We were out for a drive tonight to find some caches and this was one of them. Quick find then on to the next one. TFTC
Found with a quick check of the cache page. We have been involved with some of the work of this Landcare Group, they are doing a great job. Thanks Cherad for highlighting this pocket of Union Jack Creek, it is an area we haven’t been before. {FTF} with Motndarg At 12.25pm.
A phone call from McLookers re this cache and hopefully to get a FTF. Set off, arrived at GZ and noticed fresh car wheel marks in the grass, and thought we had been pipped at the post. How lucky were we, the log was empty! Signed, replaced and left with a smile. Thanks Cherad for this cache
