Our last day in the area before we head home tomorrow. A beautiful day to find some more caches here. We could see it but were vertically challenged. TFTC.
Found while in Mildura for the weekend. And staying sooooo close too, almost like Id planned it that way . I had to stop here having seen all the favourite points awarded. Here comes another one. Great cache! Many thanks TheMoules for providing this game piece for our enjoyment.Greetings from Tatura
Taking a few days off work so I can get away to Mildura for a long weekend. My first time in Mildura so lots of geocaches to tackle to keep me entertained. Perfect conditions to be outside and geocaching. Another great cache and another favourite point dropped. Thank you 4Moule, for placing Unleashed for the geocaching community.# # #15584 # #
Well bugger me dead 761st find! So glad Ive pulled in here & bit the bullet to do these 2 caches! Walked around for ages & thought oh my a waste of time! Then Im like nup it cant be! Spotted it. We dont get caches like these at home so Im over the moon! Thanks 4Moule Ive had the best trip caching & finding your caches! Cannot wait to come back!
Can understand why this one is so favoured, I have seen about 4 like this one previousl. All good with this cage. Thanks for this one
A week of caching and golf with bogonghazy and Littleboss 2 in and around Mildura and of course any smileys we can pick up on the way. A quick find by Littleboss2. Thanks TheMoules
Up to Mildura for a week with Littleboss2, Sorceysal and Geo the puppy. We'd solved a few puzzles between us, (Ss about 97% of them) and this was the week to grab as many as we could, as well as the multiple labs, multis and trads, and really enjoy this stunning area. After a wild night, we really felt the heat and humidity that happens post rain, but it's all a part of what Australia's diverse zones bring on board. Plenty of sharp bindis added to the fun. Is that what gaiters are for? Our thanks for placing this one, adding to the faves
Caching in Mildura for the week with Bogonghazy, sorceysal and Geo dog. Clever cache. Thanks for placing the geocache fav from me
TFTC, on the way to the smoke on the water event and grabbed a couple of caches along the way with Algae . This was basic but cool cache, loved this one. A fav from me for this.
Having left the TOTT back in the car we were not about to walk back to get it so sourced a suitable one nearby. With the cache soon in hand the log was signed and returned.A favourite from us.It was time to tackle the Turtle Series. Solving the puzzles began some time ago, but was done in earnest during the first of the long Covid lockdowns while supervising our eldest grandson while he was involved in remote learning. A great way to keep us occupied, but also stopping us from hovering over him while he did his work.We had envisaged doing much of the trails on bike but decided the night before to abandon that idea and do the caches with a mixture of car travel and walking. Turned out to be a wise decision as with soft and spongy trails and a myriad of thorns, burrs and bindis we think we would have been in trouble. It meant a lot of walking, but then that is supposed to be good for us!The hides were straightforward with in most case few options which was appreciated. Only one DNF. We also picked up a few other caches en route, a couple good field puzzles and containers.Thank you for a great series well executed.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache TheMoules.**SKI Pair****
That was fun. Had us scratching our heads for a while, trust the coords. Fave, TFTC!
Another fabulous Camo, FP. We found your cache today 6 May 2024 11:44am , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC 4Moule
Found while having a look around the area today, staying in Mildura for the week. Another really good hide, nice work. Thanks!Find #6920 on 17 Apr 2024.TFTC TheMoules!
**This Cache**Huge thanks for doing some maintenance on this cache recently! Was great to be able to find it in it's prime!Luckily we were able to use natures tool to help us access it, otherwise we would of had to return to the car for a more man-made tool! Well done, excellent hide! ---**Today:**Day 1 of 2 of the trip back to Canberra!Renmark - BalranaldWe decided to take a long and tough route, specifically for a combination of old caches, an interstate Wherigo and an off the beaten track virtual cache! This involved hundreds of km's of dirt driving on Wentworth - Renmark Rd. Definitely not ideal in a very small 2WD car as we felt every bump, but at least the road was in good condition the entire way! We managed to get a handful of excellent caches and even finished the night with a bunch of brand new caches in Robinvale which was a bonus!A 12 hour day before we finally arrived at Shamrock Hotel in Balranald, where we enjoyed the best meal of the trip! A HUGE plate of Chinese for a great special price. Well worth ordering off the Chinese menu as they also did the standard pub meals but they were more far more expensive and likely more generic too! Thanks to the CO's
I found this cache during my trip to the South Australian MEGA in 2024 sometime between the 23rd of February and the 9th of March 2024. Not sure of the exact day that I found this cache as I found over 1500 caches for the trip and decided to log them all when I got home. This cache was signed DSD or DARKSIDEDAN or AB or Adventure Boys. Thank for the cache and the adventure.
We have now replaced this geocache with a new container and logbook and its all set up ready to be found again. Happy Caching!
We still have this on our list of maintenance and now have everything needed to fix this geocache after visiting the location on Sunday. We hope to be able to now get it over the next couple of days.
The days have been so busy and just flown by! We will be replacing this geocache this weekend coming. Sorry for the delay.
This geocache is broken and needs our attention. We are away at the moment but will be fixed by the end of September.
Very clever. One of my favorites. Didn't have my fishing rod, but was able to find a way.

Found while on a fabulous weekend away to Mildura to complete the Paddlesteamer, Turtle and various trads, multis + gadget caches. The Canberra crew included Nibletricecakes, joolay, kittykatch, youban, dty73, tankengine, & albida33. We signed as Mildura May Adventures 23 (MMA23). Unless otherwise mentioned, all caches were quickly found. TFTC.
That was a surprise
Day 4 of our Mildura Madness run and the gang is all here ??. Really looking forward to looking around. Signing as MMA23 or MMA or caching name depending on the signer. (Mildura May Adventures)

Today was our second day adventuring together in the district. Out to tackle the Paddlesteamer and as many other amazing caches as we can with a lovely bunch of Canberra friends! Always fantastic to be able to get away for a long weekend of caching together. Loved the red dust and the crazy caching trails. Thanks for all the hard work from COs make and maintain these caches. Called our trip the Mildura May Adventure so signed as MMA or MMA23 today. Great to be caching with you KLSARC, GLISS! Albida33, Kittykatch, Barb2e, Joolay, Tankengine, DTY73 and youban. Thanks for a great weekend everyone. Thanks for the cache.
Southern Autumn adventure Day 54. Mildura Paddle Steamer Trip Day 3. After a huge day, the MAA team (Mildura Autumn Attack and we consisted of Nibletricecakes, Gliss!, Joolay, Kitty Katch, Barb2e, Tankengine, dty73, Youban and Albida33) headed back to the Paddle Steamer to finish the last bit. It did not take too long, and the whole series has been a joy of accurate and present caches. The next goal was the various Gadget caches rear Red Cliffs and then by the Gliding field. The day was completed with an all out effort to get to all the Turtle caches. Plenty of drive bys, but a few fun walks on muddy flats. This was another great series. A few of us gathered for take away dinner and retired for what rest could be achieved before tomorrows activities.
The various themed and gadget style caches we did today were all great and enjoyable after the series caching we have mostly done.
Thanks for the cache TheMoules

Out with Dty73 and Tankengine on a caching tour around Ballarat. Great ideas for a hide. Well worth a heart . Kutgw
Thankfully, I was able to find a tridant out in the wild to grab this cache. I'm a sucker for these caches. Thankfully, I found a similar one recently and knew exactly what to do. Still get a Fav point.
Didn't see the cache until we stood back to see the bigger picture. It was then we realised we hadn't brought a TOTT. But no problems there... the one at GZ that everyone uses does the job so efficiently no other TOTT was necessary. Such an entertaining variety of hides, thanks for another TheMoules.

After parking the car, not too far away on a nearby dirt road, we made a short walk to GZ.
After searching for a while, we thought it was a good idea to read the attributes.
Aha! It pays to read things properly.
With that sorted, and a tool improvised, we soon had our name added to the log of this very clever Hide.
A FP added.
Thanks 4Moules. This one has definitely survived the flood.

This was a nicely done cache and it took a while to spot. Fortunately nature had provided an appropriate tool and the log was soon signed. A favourite point given. Thanks to 4Moule for the cache.

The last day in Mildura with BettyBoo3747.
We uncovered the deadly treadlies and road along the river picking up the occasional cache.
Some beautiful views along the bike track, and some good caches too.
The geo-doggies enjoyed their runs and traveling along in the bike trailer too.
Some very friendly previous finders had left a suitable TOTT for us to use.
Always like this style of hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

#18755. Our last day in Mildura on a glorious autumn day. Touring on our bicycles with the doggies in their trailer and enjoying a great ride along the trails near the river between Merbein and Apex Park in Mildura. So beautiful to be enjoying the river scenery and gathering some caches on the way.
Part of our after lunch bike ride. From the name of this one I thought I knew what it would be and was correct. Although we have found a few of this type over the years I always enjoy finding them. I picked up a TOTT on the way in but some kind person had left a much better one close by. A favourite point from me.
Thanks TheMoules

I’m having this week off as others at work had the Easter break off so it was my turn and another trip up North to Mildura was planned.
I was able to leave Melbourne nice and early to get a few caches in on the way up to Culgoa.
So after a great feed and a couple of beers and of course great accomodation at the Kaneira Hotel I headed up towards Mildura to see how many I could find in the Paddle Steamer series.
I managed to find 115 and 165 in the last couple days but the uni joint in my right knee has finally said enough is enough with all of the getting in and out of the Geocruiser so it is time to spend a casual day around Mildura.
I got up nice and early to attend the Dawn Service at the park and it was great to see so many people there paying their respects.
After a wander around town and then completing the Turtle series which was the second reason why I came back up to Mildura it was time to keep my wandering around.
A great cache and I just happened to have the required TOTT in the Geocruiser to help me along.
Thanks TheMoules TFTC.

Day 7 of the long road trip from Western Australia to Townsville, Queensland.
Caching today was in Mildura mainly doing the Turtle Series and one of the Adventure Labs. Unfortunately half the final ground zeros somehow dissappeared from the GPS so had to rely on the tablet to work out where to find the Turtles. It made the day long and a case of backtracking a few times when it was found some caches had been missed.
This cache found without problems. Log signed and the cache returned as it was found.
Thanks TheMoules for placing and maintaining this cache for geocachers to find.

Found by Mary and David at 18:00. What a wonderful cache. Quite creative, although we have come across one or two that have been similar. Great to meet up with 4 out of 5 Moules earlier, and M held Charlie at last. Hope Matt slept well and has a good night. Our thanks to TheMoules

frmen1 and I are back in this great part of the state. We did lockdown here back in Feb and were confined to a 5km radius (thanks to CO's turtle series for keeping us entertained lol). Enjoying getting around more and the cooler temps. An easy find especially when Mother Nature is so helpful. Alas, no fav pts left, but will be back when I get one. TFTC

In Mildura for a day, hit the Mildura Brewery last night, parkrun this morning, followed by breaky, then out for a hike to find some cache. Blitz some of the puzzles in the week, wasn’t sure how many we would have time to find, especially with all the trads in the area too. Ended up jogging and hiking 28km today in total. TFTC.
A few hours of caching in the area to try and clean it up. Mixed results but found some. TFTC
Came but couldn't find the signs. Msy need to be checked as new plants in area.

Here in Mildura for a few days with Snap Happy, omegaman1971, Happy Feet and Happy Pants.
Once we'd finished finding the nearby turtle series geoart, we were keen to keep on caching into the late afternoon, then on and into the night. "There's another one over here" was the saying heard most today. We found a plethora of different cache types, hide styles and were happily perplexed at some GZs! Thanks for the cache 4Moule - awesome work on this one, favourite point added.

This was a great opportunity to get away with some caching friends in Mildura. The plan was to hit some of the local trails and geo art. There was many other hides discovered, with some really great containers and hides in the area.
Loved this hide with a difference. It didn't take too long before it was spotted and we had the cache in hand for stamping.
Thanks 4Moule for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.
