Logs
Staying in Koroit, we decided to head for Warrnambool. I had a decent search but, like others before me, I could not find the cache.
Was unable to find on this occasion looked everywhere possible was quite sure what we were looking for but no luck may need to be checked
Thank you very much for this well hidden and camouflaged cache I had very nearly given up searching as this was my 8th time coming to try and find this after reading the previous logs I tried again and thought I had found it but nope I was in the wrong spot, after searching for an hour I finally got it and I had looked past it several times great hide
Found while on holidays in town for a few days. Did the foreshore walk with a few geocache finds thrown in, then headed back to the caravan park inland. Took way too long considering I had a good idea I knew what I was looking for. Easy in the end. TFTC
Decided to try and find this one today while taking a walk around the lake.... hint was a good help... soon had the cache in hand ... TFTC
Found this with gridge98 on our road trip to Victoria. We took the great ocean road to Warrnambool, then to Ballarat and Halls Gap. Fantastic trip away over 5 days. Thanks for the cache!
This was a great location and this morning we had it to ourselves, went the wrong way a few times but got there in the end. Took a little bit to find the cache nicely hidden courtneyrose_ and I headed away to Victoria for a 5 day trip for me to partake in the Ballarat Marathon. Along the way we made our way to the great ocean road to explore the area, after both of us had not been there for many years. We then headed to Ballarat for 2 nights before heading to Halls Gap for a scenic experience for the night before making our way back to home to Adelaide. Thanks for the cache.
TFTC. Ingenious hiding place. Fifth or sixth time trying to find it, but finally succeeded!
Found it fairly easily. To replace it was harder as the muggle traffic increased. Kiddos enjoyed the playground more.
Never good with mazes but this one was relatively simple and we were soon at GZ. But were we above or below? To answer would be giving the game away.Really enjoyed our stroll through this area to the cache. A very extensive playground and it was probably a very expensive one to set up as well. Thanks for a nice hide, a type we have come across many times before but still appreciate.
Found it , once again the first night on vacation in Warnambool, we couldn't help ourselves, down to the maze to find this one. A few wrong turns on the way in, but soon we were at the search point. Looking up down and all around and then bang. Fantastic cache. Log signed and replaced as found.
Lots of people around but Mrs P spotted it and with a bit of shaking got the log out to sign it.
Finally! About the 6th time looking. Got it right away this time. Harvey says it looks like all the others, only slightly different!!!
Found quickly but had wait for muggles before retrieving it, and again before returning it. Would be difficult on a busy weekend. Tftc.
Down in Warrnambool for a family day. After the BBQ I went for a stroll to turn a green bit into a smiley. A nice little find with a clever clue. Thank you for the cache and nice stroll on a 30 degree day.
Staying in Warrnambool for a few days with reluctant geoteen LeosLemons. We were walking to play a round of minigolf and couldn't walk past this one. Nice hide & it was easy for me to look lost. A cool evening, there weren't too many muggles around. Many
After looking, messaging the owners for a hint, looking again, I managed to find it without a reply. But no pen! I should know better by now! Messaged, sent a photo of the find. I hope that is enough to satisfy. Hoping to bring the entire family here this year, so Ill be back to sign the log!
This was a fun cache! We had no idea what to expect but once more, the cache was found by one of TheGees before I had even found my way to GZ. +1FP for the location and the hide. TFTC!
This one had been on my list for a while and with high muggle activity made it a little more difficult tried every single thing on and under finally got the goods. TFTC, now to spend some time playing and exploring with geokid
Great challenge on a cool windy evening. Coffee in hand and a bit of a giggle. Didnt take too long.
Lots af muggles about, much stealth require for this one. I'm sure the tower is moving in the wind
Looked around and spotted something not quite right. An accurate set of co-ords certainly made this easier. Found early in the morning so area was muggle free. TFTC.
After a lovely walk around the maze, we found the tricky hide while avoiding kidsThanks for the hidePika 29/10/23
Today we make are way True the great ocean road. Pick up some geocaches thanks for placing the cache greetz from holland
Felt like a spoilt child having this place to myself this morning.... would have been more fun if it had been bigger. I quickly located this cache with my keen, awake eyes.
Thought this was great blended in well with the environment. A fun find. Thank for your cache.
Found in the maze at the Pertobe playground, where we visited today to celebrate the smallest DuckNomNom kid's birthday with flying fox rides and a 15 minute boat trip around the lake. Spotted relatively quickly as I'd seen similar caches before, but DideeNZ was very impressed by the sneaky cache container. Quickly signed by both of us and returned as found as stealthily as possible, while muggle kids played hide & seek nearby. Lots of dead ends on the way out, but we got there eventually. Thanks for the cache AlexiKatty - the playground definitely had something to entertain all of us today!
Today is day 4 of visiting from Brisbane with muggle grandma, driving along a big section of The Great Ocean Road. We left Apollo Bay early so that we could catch all the good bits like the Gibson Steps at low tide. Our final destination was Warnambool with some time to explore through caching, then off to the night show at the maritime grateful for a spoiler photo as it was right on dusk and we needed to get to the night show.
In Warrnambool for the annual 3hr free, which is closer to 2hr once the drop off has been completed.
A perfect opportunity to do two hobbies in the same location.
The hobbit in me had me making an extra effort to grab the cache.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the amazing cache Alexikatty

Thankfully it was muggle free when arrived at GZ and stayed that way during the search, retrieval and replacement. Nice hide.

Events have thwarted our good intentions to replace this but with some medical appointments coming up we should get there soon
Sadly a DNF again been a few years since I've been up and I was hoping to find it this time. Even had someone with me who has found it in the past. But no luck today
Looked everywhere. And still didn't seem to find it. Kinda need another hint lol. Gonna go back later and have another look
This was a hard one for us!... Used the hint and some other logs to try for some help, but no luck today. Will be back!
Maybe it's there maybe it isn't.. will have to revisit at a later date with a second set of eyes.

Because of the number of midget muggles in the maze, I had to get some confirmation that you actually had to enter the maze and then it was a simple matter of negotiating my way to GZ where I found the cache straight away. It certainly helped to be tall and see the openings - so suffer little children and grow up
Thanks The Morris.

This was a nifty little cache for an evening walk. We’re loving exploring Warrnambool as a family this week! The log is almost full, but we didn’t have a pen to add it it today. TFTC!
The council are doing heaps of repair work in this lovely park but this did not stop access to the maze.
A good spot to hide a cache and lucky I had the place to myself.
Thanks AlexiKatty..

Trying to catch up on some very late logs. Sorry for the more generic logs.
We are slowly making our way to the Portland and stopping off to make a find each day. Having the night with dad but had to take a drive down to the beach while visiting and grab a cache, of course. This kept us entertained for a while.
Thanks The Morris for placing the cache for us to find.

Tricky little hide. Well done, had a bit of fun wandering thru the area with my precocious little five year old. TFTC

Found the cache this morning as the kids were desperate to try the nearby flying fox.
The nearby playground works don't quite surround the maze. The maze is open and accessible from the tunnel side and flying fox side. You just need to walk around.
Log is nearing the end of its life but has about 10 spaces left.
Thanks for the cache and for showing us this place.
