Went out caching today around Flagstaff Hill, Happy Valley and Aberfoyle Park to pick up a few extra smiley faces for my map.
I've been eyeing off this area for a while.
Coordinates are off on this cache and should be updated.
Reposting from ttrogg's log, the cache is hidden at **S35 03.745 E138 35.221**
I could tell on approach that the given coordinates weren't where it would be hidden and had a look at the most likely spot it could be.
Sure enough, that's where it was.
Inside the cache was chocolate, I don't recommend putting chocolate or any other food in geocaches. It also goes against geocaching guidelines.
I was in a rush so I didn't remove it.
Put my signature in the log book and returned the cache.
Signed as "P.Goldy".
Thanks to brave4kids for this cache.

Saturday walk with the geo-pups, geo-son and muggle daughter! Found in trees mentioned previously. TFTC
Thanks brave4kids for the placement and ongoing maintenance. The coordinates are definitely off, cache was found around 12 metres away on the other side of the fence. Trogg's are spot on from what I can tell. Book signed and I had some chat with a local muggle who was very interested to see what I was doing.
Today was my second to last opportunity to bolster my annual find count. I started with some owner maintenance, a couple DNF revisits and onto the southern suburbs to gather some numbers. I found myself in Lava land again, always a delight to be in amongst quality caches. I was further enthused by encountering the home nest of hides from weredunn4, what luck. I lost some time replacing some neglected ones but on the whole it was a super day, called short by the phone running out of juice and me not having a portable charger. Thanks to all CO’s for todays fun and adventures, no death noodles were sighted, and all muggles I encountered were happy to chat.

Nothing like a good wash!

Another afternoon down south with the bike after my usual traditionals and this was one of the caches found.
Wasted some time searching around given co-ords before looking around and going to other side of fence and finding cache where I thought it should be. Now that I'm logging realize that GZ co-ords are the same as extra co-ords given for pumping station. Will include my take on GZ co-ords.
Thanks to brave4kids for putting out this cache for me to find.

Visited this cache with bektheraccoon and shotflames. Wasn't interested in the nearby dog but did want to snuffle around while the 'hoomans' searched for the cache.
Found after we read the logs about crossing the fence. I've attached suggested better coordinates from standing at GZ
After approaching GZ and reading comments from a previous cacher. We had the cache in had. Great hide, although coordinates are a little off. Found with Bektheraccoon. TFTC.
This evening, I joined gridge98 and headed south to primarily target the letterbox hybrid cache *GWIAT*. Gridge98 had disabled the cache to perform maintenance, but in the end, the last finders had done a good job at securing the cache quite high in the tree. We then continued to head south towards Happy Valley finding a few shared unfound geocaches, before calling it a night when it got dark.
A short walk from the nearby street to where we parked, and after looking around GZ, we spotted the cache hidden on the other side of the fence. It felt like the coordinates were a little out? The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks brave4kids for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Quick find here cache is all good
This evening Davidwazza and I headed south to do some maintenance on my letterbox cache. We decided to collect a few unfound trads in the area too.

Cache #2431. Second of four caches found today.
This morning, I went to Aberfoyle Park for business. After that, I tried four caches in that area, and found all four.
Parked on the road, and walked towards the GZ.
Crossed the creek, and found the cache in the first place I checked.
Took nothing, left nothing. Signed the log, and put it back.
Thanks for the cache, brave4kids.

Parked the Geo-Mobile up at nearby Hams rd then went on foot to find the 3 caches nearby here [^]
This one was the 1st. A quick find and sign at 12:34 on Wed 22 April 2020.
[No water was present at the drain today, but i'm hoping a wet winter will change that and benefit all Farmers [^]]
The cache and contents are fine and dry

Found with Nicidanielle and Zoe the Geodog. Nice easy find once you figure out the possible spot from GZ. TFTC!!
As all have said, location a bit off but read through some comments and it wasn’t too hard, tftc!
Lovely location though, just like Hurtle said, the cache was 13m from the GZ!
Thanks for placing this one!

The coords are a bit out here. The ones in Hurtles log will take you to the cache. Not sure what the nearby residents think of this cache?

Was out today trying to find a few of the newer caches and some that I hadn't got to yet. [^]
Was walking on the path following the GPSr and I just happened to spot part of the cache as I was walking past. My GPSr wanted me a bit further away so I was pleased that I spotted it before looking elasewhere.
Thanks for the cache brave4kids.

This little piece of bush land is my favourite place to take my four legged mate for a walk. This cache was found without the use of a GPS. I figured there was only one place it could be and that's were I found it.
Thanks brave4kids for the cache!

Out with CPwanderer on ANZAC day today enjoying some caching & sunshine.
We ended up on the wrong side of the fence, luckily no one was out in there gardens today.
A bit of a search & we pieced together the clues and found a possible hiding spot
(once we walked back around the fence) thanks for the hide brave4kids

Found it easily with Hurtle's coordinates on the way to the shop.

Another afternoon of finding a few caches down south once the temperature had ‘cooled down’ a bit. Thankfully quick finds were had at various gz’s, meaning I could quickly return to my cool, air conditioned car. After a few finds I decided to get out of the head and head home, with all caches being found in good order.

I approached the cache from the west and found it in the first place I looked. Glad to have a quick find. TFTC
Went to GZ before reading the logs and snooped around for 30 seconds but came up blank. Read the logs and went to the other side of the fence, made the find and signed the log whilst watching the neighbours TV (lol).
I came. I looked. I read the co ords are out. I changed the side of the fence i was looking on. I stamped a log. I went back to my air con in my car. Things we do in 39 degree heat.
*STF* before it got too warm this morning! Quick find for the first cache of 2019 souvenir! TFTC
On way home from being out with the geokids. Quick find. Coordinates are out but thanks to the gold medal winner it was easier to find.
Thought we would grab some local caches for a souvenir today. As we approached GZ we heard a man in the garden next door say "your getting warmer" haha.
He has helped his grandkids place this cache. It is almost impossible to be stealthy here as all the backyards look out over the park.

Came by to find this one this afternoon after seeing it published last night and suggesting to Hurtle that he find it on his way home (which he did).
GZ is very dodgy - right where people can see out their back window and watch you search for it.
Found it easily using Hurtle’s updated coordinate.
Thanks for the cache brave4kids.

Stopped by on way home and found one last cache for the year.
Co-ords put me on the grass, but looked in a nearby obvious spot and found the cache about 13m from listed co-ords.
Dropped my *FTF* geocoin through also...
