Finally found my Caching book from the mega and going through it and found that i had not logged this cache from previously, Sorry for the late log.

We are pleased to announce the 2020 Easter event will be held in the Geocaching friendly town of Millicent. Our website is now open for registration and camp site bookings.

The Millicent Showgrounds will have powered and unpowered camping sites, and has many facilities that will allow us to made the most of the town and surrounding district.

We believe this site will allow for a really fun event for all. Can’t wait to see you there!

Great event to learn about the Millicent Event in 2020. Many thanks

There were a couple of events today, and in between and after, I joined up with Alansee and Leafotwind to collect some caches nearby. This was the first event for the day, and a nice quick get together.

This event was attended today and brings our overall cache find tally to 10298.

Like many others attending the Mega we came to this event today before heading out for the day.

Enjoyed this event, another chance to mingle and chat ... and I think I started something weird when I took a photo of 3 bearded cachers, and before I knew it someone was organising an impromptu gathering of many beards - lol
I hope the GeoVenture goes Mega, and I hope i can get there

Busy morning packing up for the trip home and saying goodbye to everyone. First this event and then to the next.

I'm focused on what I'm doing this trip but I do have vague visions of attending the Vision 2020 event next year. Passed through Millicent on my way to Queanbeyan and it looks a nice little town and the few people I met there were friendly and helpful. Looking forward to it.

Attended with the lovely micaparamedic, we arrived toward the end of the event after having a slower / 'lazy' start to the day.

It was great to hear more about next year's mega in SA - YAY, I won't have to travel so far to attend. Another fab opportunity to catch up with other teams.

After enjoying the past week holidaying and geocaching around Queanbeyan with my muggle husband I was very interested to hear about your event to be held in Millicent next Easter. The information provided will be useful in my planning for next year.

This was the 1st event up for the morning, learning about the vision for 2020.

Attended this event with the crowds. There was even an added incentive with the Mega to Mega multi staring so close, but I would have gone anyway.

fitzy_1965, GSC2000, death_killer & Albida33 all attended to learn more about Millicent in 2020.

It is a very tempting thought to be able to go....especially as we had to relocate to Millicent from Adelaide for 6 weeks while Dad did some work there back in the 80's.

Another day another 2 events - cool ! This was interesting as there is a possibility that we will go to the 2020 event. Grabbed the nearby Multi's info for future use. Then we headed off to the next event.

Fantastic park!

Attended this event this morning. Great turn up. We certainly hope to get to Millicent next Easter, but we need to have both our annual leave requests confirmed before we can log the Will Attend. TFTE.

It was nice to see a large turnout for this event, my vision is nowhere near 20/20 but even I could find this event, masses of people milling about I could hardly miss it.

Today I am OCW *Throsbyonchurch* and *Little Kitten* attending this event.

Out with JJ52 and Aussie M & M for final day of caching together before Aussie M & M flies home from the Mega near Canberra. We are caching as JAM to save taking up space in all the caches we find.
A quick stop for us as we are quite up to date with the Millicent event.

Our plan today was to ride to the two events... it must have sounded good to more than us as we were joined by Josh (Happy Feet) and Bill (DiMorgan). Another good plan was this event to promote Vision 2020 with giveaway logbooks and sheets to promote it. The best plan of all though would be Millicent 2020. [^] Hope to be there! The final day of the Clear Water Mega Event meant time to pack up the tent and then some more geocaching around Queanbeyan and Canberra before heading back to Sydney.
Of course we also briefly ttended this event. As we had great fun during this years event, we look forward to visiting SA next year.

#9093 - 09:30; Another day, another event during the Easter Mega season . A nice way to start the day, catching up with many of the other cachers in town. TFTC GeoVenture2020

First cache for the day and it was a cast of thousands? Well perhaps a multiple of 10 which attend this event. Although some people had already left for their home states after the Mega it sure didn't feel that way upon attendance.
Thanks for the bonus event, GeoVenture2020 committee.

Well and truly attended this one. Great to see so many teams still around.

We headed off from the show grounds with the drovers and when we arrived we were greeted by a sea of friendly faces and being a bit more of a confined area tan the show grounds we were able to catch up with a few more teams here as well as speak to many that we had already seen.

We are looking forward to the Millicent event and know that we will be catching up with many more of these familiar faces, just in another state.
The logbooks were a very pleasant surprise, we will try and get a few more out to promote the event.

I was in Queanbeyan with my boyfriends family, As I've not cached before, I signed some logs of the caches I found with XC, until I came up with my caching name.
I had lots of fun, met some nice people and found some great hides.
Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.

A quick visit to this event, chatting with a few people we'd met previously and a bit of a kerfuffle over signing the logbook preceded the information about 2020. It sounded great but I don't think I'll be able to make it, sadly. TFTE, GeoVenture2020. =^.^=
