Thank you!!, little confused as what the nut looking thing in it was hahah at first seeing only half I thought it was a BULLET!! HAHAHAH
We are happy traveling with our campervan from Cairns to Brisbane Found this cache on our adventure
We continued today our tour of several AUS states in the NorthWest and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.The weather was - said in one word simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood. The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging. Thanks to Pearcey and Minniemousejojo for the generation of this nice cache Linger longer at Wonga (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they happened.Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood. Staying at the lovely caravan park today, so we had a nice walk along the beach to catch this one. Tftc!
After a nice walk on the beautiful beach we found our first cache in Australia Tftc!
We linger longer at wonga - thanks for the cache found while on a bucket list trip north
Ah, the sign I photographed 3 years ago is still there but GZ now outside that area. Container is now installed too match the hint.
We think we found it, but there were 2 guardians today so went to leave them be. So lovely here.
We didnt find the cache but we found the guardian. Gave him a kiss and put him back
April 30, 2024 2:21 PMOn our way now to Mossman Gorge and trying to pick up a cache or two on the way. Found the cache guardian no worries at all but not sure where the log book went to ( was the Guardian all we were meant to find?). Our original coords also put us well within the Carpark but the description helped here. TFTC.
Coords took me to center of driveway. I looked for a long time. It eluded me.
GPS was wigging out here but somehow manged to find fairly quickly. A nice sneaky spot with good camo, TFTC!

Beautiful spot we stopped here for lunch thank you for hiding and maintaining the cache
The last day of my short visit to FNQ... and with a whole day to fill in before my flight home, I took the opportunity to drive north from Cairns and find a few caches that I hadn't found on previous trips... or had appeared since I was here last.
When I first arrived I didn't think I was going to be able to get this as there were muggles sitting almost on top of it. Fortunately they left during the time I wandered down to teh sand to have a look around. By the time I got back, I had free reign to go hunting.
Thanks **Pearcey and Minniemousejojo** for the cache.

A quick stop while on our way to our next campsite on our trip.

Staying nearby for a few days we took a drive to explore the area.
Wonga Beach is beautiful and very quiet.
A few options for possible hides here.

Apologies for the late log here (01.01.24) but I've had a busy time since getting back to the UK.Something of a cheeky hide here, but I zero'd in on it quickly enough. A nice shaded spot for a quick drive-by; appreciated.TNLN-TFTC!SP (UK) on an epic trek right around the world.
Got it after swatting a few mozzies! Kids wouldn't have been able to find it but good to see it's still there in a beautiful spot. TFTC
Having to go to a wedding is what has brought us up to the Port Douglas area, so why not take a few days to look around and cache.
I’m not sure if the GPS is right or not at this one. Pulling up in the car park there is a very obvious target. Tho I wouldn’t say it was overlooking the ocean.
Buttons goes high for this one (she’s kid sized), while I reach under her arms and pick the cache out of its spot lower down. Lovely little camo one.
I end up putting it back with a bit of extra camo on it to stop the muggles.

Quick find once got the right host!! Jumpy GPS for a bit though…gorgeous little beach! Tftc
An overcast, showery day ensured we had the area all to ourselves when we arrived.
Followed the GPS and quickly had the cache in hand and the log signed.
Thanks for the hide Pearcey and Minniemousejojo.

TFTC SL Got excited and pressed the wrong key. Found your cache today while exploring the Mossman area. Thanks for bringing us here.
We have been staying at the caravan park for the last couple of nights. So this morning decided to walk along the beach and grab this one. Was wondering if I was going to do some climbing but as soon as I came around the other side I realized I didn't need to.
Thanks for the cache

TFTC. Innocent arvo walk turned into a cache find. Didn’t know there was one here so no pen in hand. Took photo of log. Hopefully that will be sufficient.
Edit 03/09 went for a walk today with pen and signed the log so deleted photo. TFTC

On our trip south for the day, we stopped here. It was a welcome break and it seemed that a few locals were taking a break from work and having their morning tea overlooking a beautiful view.
Thanks Pearcey for showing us the highlights of this area through Geocaching.

Returning from the Daintree, had a quick stop at the Wonga beach and continued towards Mossman. Lots of dog walkers around.
Container and log replaced. Seal had failed on old one and was letting moisture in. Happy hunting
Today Pa suggested we go for a drive up to Cape Tribulation, so I sneakily downloaded a couple of caches up that way. As we drove up the Mossman Daintree Road we saw a sign saying that the ferry was not operating for the next three days. Undeterred we travelled on to see if we couldn't find the cache near the ferry. It was a glorious sunny day and in the end we had lots of fun finding about 8 caches.

Although it was inviting to Linger longer here we decided not to as green ants are my pet hate in the animal world. As others before me have said the coordinates are slightly out but it was a relatively quick find. Thanks for another one Pearcey and Minniemousejojo but unfortunately I couldn't sign the log as it was just mush. I will attach a photo as proof of my find.
