Been working on this series for a while as we knew we had a trip to cootamundra coming up and we could spend the day on our return picking them up. Loved solving these. Thanks for the effect that has gone into them.
TFTC!! These puzzles were absolutely amazingly tricky and I had a lot of fun trying to solve them! With some help from a partner geocacher
This will be a copy and paste log as I found so many
It was a lot of fun solving the puzzles for these caches. I'll admit I did get some help from a fellow cacher on a handful of them and it was great to have someone give me an extra hint
The puzzles themselves very standard but I did enjoy them and the area. Overall it was a great experience!!
Thank you!

As StrangeTrousers posted it has been a while since we were at the OzGeomuster and getting a chance to now play with the artwork and pick up the puzzles that we had worked on as a group prior to the event and due to time constraints picked up the other fun things on offer like the Lab Caches back then. It was another great day in the sunshine with a Garmin in my hand and exploring places. We had a go at CacheTur and having just got a new phone I reverted to using its map feature. Going to spend a little more time using CacheTur for planning my upcoming caching days. Ditto what ST mentioned about Picton Rd – scary. Loved that ST had a “hight enhancer” – ladder in his car for our travels and that it got put to good use at the end of the day. Had never seen a koala fence before so that was something new to come across whilst down there. Big thank you to everyone for all the work on the caches and puzzles and a special thanks to ST for all the driving.

#5720 31st for today
Logs stamped as "Kayak Cachers" being the team of StrangeTrousers and CBRChic.
It's been quite a while since the OzGeomuster at "The Gong", but collection of these solved puzzles comprising the Lighthouse series has been outstanding. Today CC & I made the short journey from Canberra back up to Appin/Wilton to grab these caches. It was a lovely calm, but warm day hitting about 29C for most of the afternoon. We tried to use CacheTur's routing to gather the caches, but it quickly became apparent this wasn't going to work as we drove past places we know caches were located. It seemed to make no sense, so we quickly abandon this reverting to our GPSr for the next closest. We didn't enjoy the caches along Picton Rd so, much, the traffic was scary. We had to duck across the road on a few occasions, which wasn't all that fun. Not too many misses today. Sorry for the generic logs, puzzles were solved as a group before the Mega, so I can't remember too many details, but we had quite a few fun evenings of puzzle solving.
Thanks ozgeomuster

With plenty of the *Lighthouse Series* solved and not found, I decided to plunder the Wilton / Appin area today - the first for a while when I could get out for the day (the Geowife had headed north for lunch with the girls).
I grabbed 18 *Lighthouse* caches today - didn't go for one that has a series of DNFs - and three other caches besides. And used my trackable stamp on some of the caches...
Note to self: need to work on the WhereIGos in the series.
Didn't exactly take the most efficient route today, but I did find everything I went for.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Easy find - not even covered in camouflage.
Completed signing duties and replaced. Then onwards!

We were on our way home from the Queensland Oz Geo Muster and decided to go via the coast home. We had camped near the start of this series and Diane noticed them in the morning. Being quite early we decided to try our luck at a few as we had the answers from before the Mega but did not get this far afield.
We started off well and decided to keep going until lunch time then start heading south again.
We were very happy we did as we managed to collect 47 of them with 4 DNF’s
We thank ozgeomuster for all the effort in setting up the puzzles and hiding the caches and apologise for the generic log but with so many caches found in a short time they blend into each other but we can say we did enjoy each one.

Having sat on the answers to this fun geoart trail for too long, today was the day we finally managed to get out on the hunt. It also worked well to coincide with the Mystery at the Museum challenge.
I beautiful puzzle, I enjoyed this one
A walking muggle was heading towards us as we pulled up at GZ - the first muggle we'd be close to all day

Thanks to everyone involved in the creation of this geoart! While I plotted the shape & wrote a lot of puzzles from back home in Brisbane, it was a team effort all around. I was very happy to finally get onsite and see it in the field.. thanks to:
Kyzabra for numbers 1-4
Burgo for number 7, 18, 19, 56
Seemyshell for the final placements and coordinate collection &
MizMaz for local support fixing them up as best we could!
I grabbed all the art, (except the challenges under my geoname) over the course of the weekend! As usual. My fav part of mega geoart is bumping into other cachers in the field

Mega is over and I'm homeward bound once I've finished this series. Still a few to do and the road closure due to the B-double wrecking the Broughton Pass bridge means a long detour to the starting line. It was full steam ahead once I got there though!
NHW central here! Was a bit spooky along here as cars were appearing at gates and just propped at two caches I was at. One drove past then turned around and cruised past again. Hope they don't start pinching the caches like they did in the other side road!

Oz Geomuster 2019 Wollongong at Cataract Scout Park. Day five, my final day was started with an event and then turned into a drive home by as many of the WLS caches I could get to with a van in tow.
I had all the GZs for these sorted out before I came so it was just a matter of being able to stop.

Kotuku_SI and I were staying at the same Motel so discussed what we would do today. As I head back home later this afternoon we decided to park up in Wilton with my car and she drove round finding caches in the lighthouse geo-art for as long as possible till I needed to head to the airport in Sydney. This was one of 19 we managed today.
A quick find as K C N and I tried to power our way around some of this Geoart - 2 of our solved puzzles filled DT holes for K C N so we were keen to claim those ones - in fact this was the 2nd !
Thanks for this puzzle and the series; greetings from Christchurch.

I always like a bit of geoart, and particularly am a fan of those utilizing multiple cache types. There was a good range of caches within each type too, showing a lot of effort had been put into the cache design. So this was a clear must grab while attending the OZGM. Did not take too long to grab these, with the traces of increased foot traffic over the weekend lending a hand for a couple of hides. TFTC!
Streak Day #2188 - Out with Dave8153 on the last day of the mega completing this series. Quick find. TFTC
The final afternoon of my adventure to the Oz Geomuster at the Gong, and I still had the final 19 caches in this series to pick up after running out of light the other day. The others I teamed up with had already finished it off the day before, so looks like I was going to do this stretch alone!
Had a couple of hours before the closing ceremony started, so I headed off to see what I could accomplish! Started at the south end and worked my way up. Managed to smash them all out by myself within the couple of hours I allocated, and arrived back at the mega site about 7:15pm. No where near as quickly as we did it in a big group yesterday, was a lot slower especially in the dark and with my manual car! All were found quickly and easily though which was awesome
I must have missed the truck crash on Wilton Road going through Broughton Pass by only 30 minutes or so [:o] I drove back that way towards the mega site and it was reported at 7:40pm! Thankful for that....!
Thanks Oz Geomuster and everyone involved placing these caches for us to find

Headed down to the OZGeomuster 2019 The Gong Mega Event early Sunday morning, with an overnight stay at a farm B&B in Wilton on Sunday night, and then returning home on Monday afternoon. We will be concentrating our efforts on collecting the Wollongong Lighthouse Series geoart placements located around Wilton, after the Family’s chief puzzle solver managed to solve most of the geoart puzzles (without seeking or accepting any assistance), but will also see how many Lab caches we can complete. This was the 9th of 32 finds for the day, and the 56th of 79 finds for our Mega weekend.
We next came to this one, which was to be another nice quick "park & grab" along the geoart trail. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Thanks ozgeomuster for the puzzle & cache.

Today team novo x3 on day two of our OZGM2019 mega area tour, doing some select caches from the Stanwell Tops and Thirroul areas, then down to Kembla Grange for a group assault on an Adrenalin Addiction cache, and then finishing the day on some more Lighthouse caches as we slowly head home. It was a great way to start the school holidays!
Oh I really liked this puzzle. Very unique! I sat in the car while the boys took it in turns to collect these ones this arvie. No complaints. TFTC and puzzle, ozgeomuster.

After completing the coffee tour, it was now time to get back to the Lighthouse series to see if we could complete it.
Most were fairly straight forward and quick finds but there were a couple here and there that prove to be a bit tricky mainly because of the coordinates.
In the end we were able to sign all the logs for this series and now have a Lighthouse beaming with smiles.

Found while up at the Gong event.
Solved what we could as a team before the trip up. But I had to go out n find "the Light House art" alone.
Did have the occasional meet up with others out in the field. Thankfully some of those were when the caches became elusive to find.
Thanks to those who gave me a ton of help with the Wherigos. Much appreciated. One day I might get the hang of them.

out and about with AussieBen for the Mega Weekend doing lots of caches in the area thanks for maintaining and your contribution to the game
Like many other Cachers - Aquilus1, Tankengine, GreyHams and I were up for the GeoMuster, but we could only stay for just Saturday and Sunday to be able to return home for work on Monday.
I would like to make a special thank you to my A-Team for all their help on this geoart. I wouldn't have found any of them without them. We are lucky to have a team of talented people and we found all the caches without issues. Thanks Tankengine for your running around so much, I think you did the hardest yards out of all of us.
We found most of the WLS Series yesterday and before heading home today we wanted to clear the rest of them before leaving town.
All caches were found ok and the parking in most places was pretty good for such a busy, fast paced road. Tftc ozgeomuster!!!

The day took an unexpected turn and I ended up going with the guys rather than sitting around getting bored waiting after a communication snafu.
These puzzles were all solved at home except for some of the wherigos where i was just a lucky tourist.
I was grateful for the ride as some of the parking spots were not safe but we were able to grab the whole series.
The morning was great fun (and less grumpy) with laughter, jokes, lollies, a pair of ripped jeans and catch ups with other cachers.
Thanks for the interesting puzzles, the series and the weekend. Tftc

Today we spent the day doing many of the Light house caches along with a few others in the area. Lots of fun, hope I didn't miss any but we were all over and didn't have all of them solved either.
Funny how things go in the caching world. You meet someone walking around at a mega event and the next thing you know you jump in there car still pretty much strangers and spend the next 2 days caching, sharing stories and experiences. We had such gr8 fun with Stumble's Mate and Stumble Trip we loved our journey with you and creating more stories to share on down the road.
We are on a holiday enjoying it caching and sightseeing. We start the journey off with a few day stop in Hawaii. From there we will visit New Zealand from Wellington to Dunedin. From there we move on to Australia taking in a Mega along the way from Melbourne to Sidney ending in Brisbane before heading home via a layover in South Korea. We plan to pick up a few year 2000 caches and as many others as time will allow.
THANKS goes to ozgeomuster for placing this gr[8] cache! We appreciate all those who hide caches for without you there would be nothing to find. We are not gr8cachers we like finding GR8Caches! This was our 22842 find. Keep on caching!

Out with the Kiwi Caching Chicks gathering the lighthouse series while attending the nearby OZGEOMUSTER. Had a great time over the weekend of the event. Logs signed KCC (or KC) for Kiwi Caching Chicks (thedbees, nosynel, Jude_E, Infoferret, GraciesGPSFun, ethness). TFTS(eries).
#9329 - 4:42:00 PM; Originally planned to be overseas this weekend, but a change in travel plans meant I could head up to the 'OZGeomuster 2019 The Gong' Mega instead. After a productive day yesterday, andrewbt and I started off today by wrapping up the 'Mystery at Cataract Dam' Adventure Lab and then set off to do the 'Tour The Gong' Adventure Lab and Coffee & Caches Wherigo and any others that we close along our route. After completing the 'must do' list along the coast, we headed back up the hill to continue the Wollongong Lighthouse Series until sunset, which we had started on our way to the Mega yesterday. All were found in good order and were signed LL & ABT or similar. We were eligible to claim all of the challenge caches we encountered as part of the series. TFTC ozgeomuster
After being pointed in the right direction by another cacher, we got some confirmed coordinates. Today we went to look for the cache. Accurate coordinates and a logical hide location led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks ozgeomuster for the puzzle and cache.
Kiwi Caching Chicks are in Aussie! We are Nosynel, Infoferret, Jude_E, (thedbees, graciesgpsfun some times) and Ethness. Over from NZ for the Ozgeomuster and trying to do as many caches as we can in the time we have here. We signed as KC or KCC.

Day 2 and out and about enjoying this beautiful weather, taking in the scenery and finding plenty of caches. It’s nice to be driving on this road with a little less traffic.

It's MEGA weekend, this time up in The 'Gong.
I joined the usual suspects, Aquilus1, dty73 and Tankengine for a few days of merriment, labs, geoart and a few select oldies and cool D/T. I was unfortunately a little late to the party only arriving after lunchtime on Saturday, but everyone was so happy to see me and had had an absolute ball doing the lab caches and the jamboree power trail...I was kind of sad to be interrupting their fun.
Anyway.... so many labs, so much geoart and so little time... but we made very good time on Saturday afternoon, being joined for a few hours by Loci612 in the every so roomy car.
Fantastic dinner and then back to the trivia for fun times... with DIP & CHEESE! At the end of the night my big beautiful cosy bed was waiting for me untouched!
The Sunday morning was targeted oldies and goodies, then the completion of the geoart.... had to have that one saved for posterity on my map. I couldnt resist cleaning up the rest of the regulars on the Jamboree trail before a last minute night-cache-in-the-day with jm383.
It all had to come to an end so I started the long-enough-to-be-boring drive back to Canberra.
Thanks to all the organisers and CO's... I had a ball

Generic Log to follow…….
The Stumble’s met up with Gr8cahes whilst having a dismal attempt at solving our first ever Lab cache. Instantly they became our new best friends and helped us to complete two of them!
We left camp both days to collect some real geocaches. All in all, we spent the 2 days travelling around the area including Bald Hill and the Sea Cliff Bridge. Whilst we didn’t collect a huge number of caches, the fact that we were spending time in great company and met sooooo many fantastic and helpful cachers along the way made the weekend worthwhile. Its always nice to put a face to a cache name!
All caches attempted were successfully found except one and it was fun watching Daniel jump in and out of the car like an excited kid, racing off to claim the find. Some were really easy to find whilst others took a bit longer or required the skills of a monkey to locate!

I enjoyed this puzzle.
Thanks ozgeomuster for placing this geocaches find for me. Others went to the flashmob. Us four are continuing.
The time has finally arrived for a massive Australian road trip with The Kiwi Chicks. We are GraciesGPSfun , thedbees , Ethness, Infoferret , Jude_E and me Nosynel. We might sometimes sign the geocaches as KCs or TKCs.
Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.
======== NZ Mega 2020 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2020 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. Thanks for hiding this geocache.

The lighthouse series was today's aim. Paul_the_Hippy and goingplaces2 came along too. We hit our target and finished the series with no problems and had a lot of fun too. Cache retrieved, log signed, job done. TFTC.
This morning was all about the numbers! Normally I’d just go for a bunch of favorited caches or ones with a bit of adventure about them, but it’s a Mega so a haul of smileys had to happen.
The plan was to do as many as I could before attending the flash mob in Wollongong at 11. I focused on as many as I could from the GeoArt as they were taking me in the right direction.
Thanks to all the COs for placing the caches for us all to find. ???? Signed as JA

It had always been the plan to solve and find as many of these as possible. It's not everyday you get a Mega in your own backyard AND an awesome geoart for the map, too. So, catching back up to cache with our buddies GR8CACHERS, the geomobiles were prepped, the GPS units poised for the ready, and after a quick and delicious lunch at Appin pub, we were off!!
TFTC! We've learnt so much from doing these geocaches! A little more variety to the statistics!!

Was in the area for the OZgeomuster19 with GreyHams, dty73, and Tankengine, although GreyHams was only able to join us for some of the weekend. Not a lot of time but still managed a good amount with the Adventure Labs, Geoart, some oldies, lots of good sized containers, and some good DT caches as well.
Nice area to visit and some great targeted caches along the way, of course being a mega weekend it was heaving with geocaches and we met many along the way at caches, many times stopping at caches with many cars and caches at a time.
Canberra had a mass group attending and was always good to bump into many along the way, as well as back on site. Loci612 joined us for a large amount of the geoart and lots of fun times by all. Always good to have the backing of our friendly community!
Thanks to all the CO's for your caches, unless noted otherwise all was found easily and in good condition.

Day two of our OzGeomuster event weekend and this series was the target. Off to a very foggy start as Kyzabra, Ghostgums and I left Sydney, we swung by the event site to pick up sharkiefan, the fourth member of our hunting team for today. [^]
With a mapped plan of attack, we took took to the road and quickly ticked caches off the list, completing the entire series in a little under three hours. We only had a visit from one local, who was an elderly guy and very happy to come and chat with us, as he asked "is this the game thing I have heard about".
Thanks to all the hiders who put the caches in place, the puzzle makers, the WherIGo compilers and anyone else involved in this GeoArt. A job well done and a great morning on the trails.
To conserve log space, we signed each log book as GGKS (Gunnie69, Ghostgums, Kyzabra and sharkiefan).
Cheers ozgeomuster folk.

Found with dty73, Aquilus1 and Greyhams. We spent a lot of time over the past few weeks solving the puzzles, and over this weekend we came to collect. Most of the caches were hidden OK, but some may not last well, where they are at the moment. The roads were a bit had to park on, but we managed OK. Only had to do scary U-turns on a few occasions! .
We came down to the Wollongong area to attend the mega! And of course, we did a few other caches while we were down here! This was one of them! The weather was perfect, indeed, t-shirt weather during the day! This was especially nice, as rain had been forecast! We had a great couple of days down here. Great caches, great company and some nice meals! Not to mention very nice accommodation down at Bulli! Running into other cachers and swapping pathtags was also part of the fun! Thanks for the cache OZGM, and thanks for the company dty73, Aquilus1 and Greyhams! Oh, and thanks dty73 for all the driving - mammoth effort!

Found during the Mega Weekend.
A Fantastic event, seeing many friends, and making new ones - Bumping into cachers everywhere we went - a great time. First time in a swag too.. I now want my own!
It was my second mega - but the first one where I stayed on site
Caches were found, and with the exception of one or two, most were easily found and in great condition
