Been a few time now to find this cache and tried to message CO but have had no response
Had a bit of confusion with this one. The co ords were off so I was looking in the complete wrong place to start. There are no longer chains around the memorial so the clue was not overly helpful. I had to expand my search area and try to imagine what it would have looked like when the clue made sense. We got there in the end. TFTC.
Out for a big day of caching on this fine Sunday with Snoopy1976 and Dave8153.
Thanks Team MavEtJu for placing the cache this one is find #2050 for me TFTC.

On the way back home from a weekend down the South Coast to spread some cheer stopped here for this one. This one took longer to find than it should have seeing as I had already found it (according to the log sheet on 2/2/19 but forgot to log it) there are no longer any chains and I found the container just after the stairs
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache Team MavEtJu

Found with charlotte_bates, the coords threw us off but a quick search through the logs made us victorious. TFTC!
A walk in Kosciusko National Park was planned many months ago for the first week of January, before the now infamous fires were but a spark. As Christmas came and went, and the fires grew worse, I was not aware that fires were also starting in Kosi National Park. A day before we were to fly out the park was closed for a few days due to nearby fires, so with the chance of still going, we headed to Sydney. We waited and waited for the warnings to clear, but sadly this was not to be, and in fact, it has gotten much worse and the closures continued. We were not going to Kosi . While this was an inconvenience for us, our thoughts are with those who have suffered so much worse than us in this devastating event.
We decided to stay around Sydney and Newcastle for the week, and salvage as much as we could of our holiday. We had some great walks, cliff faces, beaches, swims and rocky crags. It was a fantastic time all around. Thanks to all the CO’s for the work they have put into these caches.
Hot, hot, hot. OMG it was HOT. Fires all around us restricting our options. Managed to get into this one. Found safe and well in good condition.

Over the the past few years, the Bromance (comprising CrookedPete, Seffnjarah, SwellerFungus and most recently JezNDez) have enjoyed road trips, bushwalking, overnight hikes, mountain climbing, kayaking and other adventures in search of some elusive caches. The first planned adventure for the brand new decade was a multi day hike in Kosciusko National Park bagging Australia's highest dozen peaks and all nearby caches.
Enroute to our adventure, Australia's bush fire crisis unfolded, and with the Kosciusko region on fire and closed, our plans gradually morphed to a caching road trip back to Queensland, collecting unusual and rarer caches along the way.
With Royal National Park closed, we looked for some other interesting caches along our travels. Stopped and grabbed this one along the way. Some logs were signed with individual names or initials if log space was an issue, others with "Bromance". Our groups brand new "Bromance" stamp also got used on some cache logs.
Thanks Team MavEtju

My family and I travelled down from Brisbane to Vincentia and Canberra to spend the Christmas/New Year period with relatives. Yesterday my fellow geocaching team members from The Bromance (Swellerfungus, Crookedpete and JezNDez) arrived in Sydney to join me for a planned hike in Kosciusko National Park (ultimately cancelled due to closures by bush fires). The plan was to head to Canberra after collecting them from the airport but the smoke was so bad in Canberra that we decided to spend a few days caching in Sydney to see if conditions improved.
After a morning of caching in the Sydney suburbs we decided to head Royal National Park, but again our plans were thwarted by park and road closures due to the severe fire danger. Heading further south brought us to an area I had cached in earlier on the trip, before the arrival of my team mates. This was one cache I had not yet found. After widening the search zone (as prompted by previous logs) we soon found the cache hide. TFTC

A nice spot for a cache. Driven past this monument many times and never properly looked at it. TFTC
In the area, as it's my 7th geocaching birthday, I needed to find 7 caches today. Not a quick find read other logs to see we should have been near the steps, then a quick find, signed log and replaced. Thanks to Team MavEtJu
TFTC,
In the area for a Riley Brunch Run and as it's Nana nel's 7th anniversary of Geocaching, she wanted to get 7 caches on the way home, this was #4.
The hint no longer applies. After reading previous logs found the cache about 22m from GZ.

This was next stop after completing the final og the Gong labs at Bald Hill on my way to Sydney. What a lovely and unusual memorial cemetery. Nice quick find thanks to a previous log which luckily just happened to be the first one on my GPS. TFTC # 14,172
Day 10 of our “mum and kids adventure” holiday saw us head into the Gong for some lab caches and normal caches. A long find here with lilliebe05 as coords were well out.
Found with Firesafe while attending to OZ Geomuster 2019 - Mega Event. A great weekend with many caches found. My apoligies for the generic log.
Thanks for placing and maintaining the cache.

In town for the geomuster. On my way to get an adventure lab so stopped here. Interesting site. Had to utilise a precious cacher’s log to find the cache.
Spending the day around Wollongong for the Oz Geomuster doing the lab caches and whereigo. TFTC

Interesting monument. Took an age as hint didn't help but logs did help. Tftc
Found quickly with the help of a couple of past logs.
Haven't got to do a lot of caching lately to nice to pick this one up whilst visiting a nearby hide for a maintenance visit.

I couldn t find the chain i think iit got stollen so i looked atthe right of the steps and it was there behind the tree.
Jed and I were walking in the right direction but it kept pointing the other way so we gave up and went home
In the area for some SES work with kea26, took advantage to also tick off some numbers as I inch my way towards a milestone. Arrow adamant GZ was in the middle of the road while clues about chains were outdated and no help. About to give up in frustration after 20min searching every BoT and digging through leaf litter (as per a recent log), went to walk up the steps back to the car and just spotted something to my right… yep, it was the cache some 20m away from the posted co-ords. Signed and returned as found as it is a better place so maybe co-ords need updating on the page.
A spontaneous plan to claims some smiles saw us hit Helensburgh. Might need to update the clues as they don’t reflect gz. After searching around we flounder the cache and claimed the smile.

A short detour off the road northwards this morning and I had this one in hand. Easy to miss without the right approach. TFTC!
Headed for an afternoons caching in Helensburgh with some SES friends after seeing an influx of new caches appear over the past few months.
On what turned out to be a warm afternoon we grabbed all the quick ones around town before setting out sights on the multi and a few walks in the Stanwell Tops area.
Thanks for the cache.

Since a multi cache made me drive up here, I obviously had to look for this cache as well. Took me longer than it should have, temporary blindness.

Found with The Neighbs and SESBlocker this morning. No heroics this time...I used my GPSr straight up.
Errr! the cache was showing on the other side of the road to where the hint was guiding us. We searched for a while until I PAF'ed a previous finder to confirm we were looking in the correct spot. So with a bit more intensity applied, the cache was spotted and we did the business. TFTC Team MavEtJu.

Did a quick drive up to Helensburgh for work and was able to grab these few caches, only the ones that were really close to the car for a grab.

These new ones around Helensburgh & Stanwell Tops were published late yesterday evening. Not enough daylight hours to chase so a plan was made and off we went. Knowing the multi involved some of the new trads we made sure we collected the data as we made our way from south to north.
A few checks here and there as the GPS was jumping, but with the hint we soon had CIH. TFTC
