Our final day in Tamworth before we need to move on, so we decided to clean up some remaining caches close to town as there was rain predicted for the early afternoon. As predicted, it arrived but not before we had found a variety of trads, multis and puzzles as well as tree fishing caches relatively newly published. It was a day with some good variety but also a few DNFs.Thank you to the cachers of Tamworth for an enjoyable and productive time here.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache ALFIE77JC1.**SKI Pair****
Reperio 18:12Day 1 of our tour of Tamworth caching trip, and Master Vitruvius and I left Orange and headed towards Tamworth for a few days to visit friends and tackle the large number of caches that have been placed since we were last here some five years ago. Our goal for today was to work through the Somerton Safari series and then on to the Sticks and Stones series, followed by a few others in the area to finish.Gratias ALFIE77JC1As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

A quick find is a good find right?!? We think so. Especially when it’s 35 degrees out. Found cache, signed the log and replaced before jumping back into the geovehicle, air con and a cold drink.
Sorted thru and solved puzzles yesterday when it was raining. Took a drive this morning to do some searching. Logged around 25 finds incl trads and a letterbox.
A quick find after skirting around a nice big ant nest

Spent the morning working through the Oxley Vale/Moore Creek/Moonbi series of caches. Found lots, DNFed a few and had to skip some for safety. Great to see the hills from this side. Thanks for placing ALFIE77JC1.

TFTC. We are camped at Tamworth on our way to the Mega in Dayboro. We decided to spend a few hours searching for caches around Hallsville before visiting friends in town. All caches were found in good order and co-ords were good. A good day 31 finds and two we did not find due to other reasons , so not logging as a DNF.
Caches are easy to locate when the hint is a good one. A bit like this cache. Tftc.

Found at 10:13 AM GAFF1.
First cache for the day and we saw the tall grass an the farmer's friends lurking amongst it and dread entered our hearts. However when we got out of the car we saw the compass on the GPSr swing to the other side of the road and our hearts soared to new heights
Thanks ALFIE77JC1 for not making us trudge through the dreaded plant .

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 3. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. Today we headed out to do caching trails around Tamworth to the North. The day was mostly roadside caches, but they were all of differing levels of challenges, especially when you have to deal with Farmers Friends and Stinging Nettles at almost ever cache.
Thanks.

Day 3 of our trip. Headed out after breakfast for what turned out to be a big days caching. We aimed to hit some of the trails around the region. Next stop of the day, and we came up with a quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.

Tamworth Day 2
Arrived into Tamworth & have set up camp at the showgrounds.
Hubby needed to be somewhere to watch Bathurst. After the start of the race we went out to do some caching. We have never been into this area before & most of the area has great views over the farmland.
Thankyou for placing this cache ALFIE77JC1

Day 2 of the visit to Tamworth with joojoo57. This afternoon we are tackling the northern loop through Hallsville, Moore Creek and Attunga, and I am on the run down to a big milestone
A bit of confusion as to which side of the road, as the in-car Garmin told us it was on the left! But the cache senses eventually kicked in. TFTC, ALFIE77JC1.
