Bisoutje and I are on a roadtrip with a campervan between Cairns and Adelaide and have now finally touched ground in Adelaide after 4 weeks.Shortly after arrival we decided to take an afternoon/evening stroll around the neighbourhood. We passed this cache as well which was a quick find. Nice place to live I reckon!TFTC!
Today out and about on 94 of 100 days of consecutive days caching with a minimum of physical one a day. Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cache.TFTC
TFTC. Took the misso out for her first adventure. As previous posters have mentioned, cache needs some love.
Back out and about again later that same day and a trip out to Grange to snap up some Multis and other low-hanging fruit. All good here and replaced as found, maybe the lid was missing?Coming to the end of my time here in Adelaide and SA and the thought that I'd be here until Monday is now likely a Thursday departure. A few things going on for work today so not too much time for distractions, got a few when I could, and when it was appropriate that I was in the area anyway. Thanks to all COs for their hides and ongoing maintenance.
???? Fount It ???? and another smiley to boot. Out caching with *Throsbyonchurch* and *Little Panther*. Log signed in some variation of LP TOC DJJ. Thanks for the cache **14 2000 Ford F350 4x4 modified pick-up - Anne**, *teamkronklee*. ??DustyJaperJet ??
Found 4:09pmAll good here. TFTC *team kronklee*DAY 1*Little Panther* and I were out of bed at 2:30 am after having very little sleep. We arrived at the railway station at 3:30 am to catch the train, arriving at Sydney Airport at 6:00 am. Now for the pressure cooker bit, working out what we needed to do, and where we needed to go. Fortunately we managed to navigate our way to our seats. Arriving in Adelaide at 10am the pressure was on as we again navigated our way to collect our bags and locate the shuttle bus to go and collect our hire car.Settling into our car I discovered the GPS I brought was not working - grrr. To Waze we go I guess. Northward bound up the motorway and out of Adelaide, I was not excited about the countryside, it was not wat I expected, and I quickly decided I didn't really like Adelaide much. We headed to the *Barossa Reservoir* and the *Whispering Wall*, a place I had not been since I was 10. On arrival it was closed - No way !?! grrr !! Not happy Jan !! Can't do much about it, so we headed off to *Tanunda* and *Nuriootpa*. They were also not what I was expecting. But its been so long. I was amazed seeing just how big the wine region is here with grapes galore. I just wanted to come for a look for old time sake, so we didn't do much. With hands full of lollies and ice cream - the best ice cream I've ever tasted I might add [I love ice cream] - we headed down to *Hahndorf* to book into our accommodation. Dinner at Haus was a delicious crispy Vienna Schnitzel and Sauerkraut.DAY 2Off to the ***The Great Leap Forward Mega Event 2024*** at *Woodville South*. We arrived and signed the log book, enjoyed the fun gadget caches, a coffee, sausage sandwich, and chatted to two Canberra Cachers and one of our home local cachers who we haven't seen over a year. Oh, and bought some coins and other merchandise from the geocaching stall. Following on from that we went out caching and clocked up quite a few finds over the afternoon. *Little Panther* did a great job choosing the caches and navigating us to them. We couldn't possibly come to another state and not visit the beach. Some beach caches were very much enjoyed. Dinner was *Da Mario Pizzeria, Athelstone* - a nice crispy half and half 'Chicken and Chips' and 'Garlic Prawns' pizza. Then back to *Hahndorf* for a big sleep.DAY 3A late start to the day saw a cache find nearby, a visit to the Hahndorf Bakery for lots of *Bee Sting* to fly back with us to Sydney [we spent a small fortune here], and another run out to the *Whispering Wall*. Woo hoo, it was open !! I rang SA Water yesterday to ask about it. Thanks for not returning my phone call as you said you would, SA Water. Nevertheless it is open. The last time I came here I wasn't able to do the wall walk. My sister had a fear of heights and I had a fear of water. Today I have overcome my fear and walked the wall alone. I've been working hard on overcoming this fear. Next stop was the Rocking Horse at Gumeracha. I saw family photos of it, but have never been, so this was a must stop. Terrific souvenir shop. We went to the top of the horse and made some fairy floss before leaving. Some more caches were found before we returned our hire car, caught the shuttle bus to the airport, and flew back to Sydney.
Adelaide Day Now camped at the West Beach Park to attend the Leap Day Event.Today was caching up & down the caost from where we are camped. A few AL thrown in as well. It's always nice driving along the seaside. Thanks teamkronklee for hiding this cache.
# 9151 Day 2 of the Adelaide Lap Day Mega tour. Flying solo at this stage as others make their way over at a more leisurely pace. It was busy for me however. I started the day by heading into the city by tram during peak hour to:1. Get coffee2. Get the two webcam cachesAnd any others I happen to cross. I had to pick up the hire car back at the airport at some stage, but no hurry.I spent the afternoon around Grange and Westpark grabbing all sorts of caches. I focused on those with good Fav points and I was not disappointed. Finally headed back around dinner time.A quick find here. Clever hint Thanks memphis kronklee for the Traditional Cache
TFTC. After finding ourselves unexpectedly in Adelaide for 2 extra days, what do you do with the extra time? Cache of course! Happy caching and safe travels!
TFTC. Found it. Advice to have a cover to protect from the rain or anything entering the container.
Found on a small caching run around the area this afternoon with TCO1441. A quick find, cache is in ok condition for its age. Cheers.

Out today to do a house inspection for our Son and after, go to see the show 9 to 5.
This one just happened to be directly opposite the house we were inspecting!! So while we waited for the Agent, we made a quick find and sign. TFTC

Went out to find some caches today. This was the first and after a while, I found it but sadly could not write in log. TFTC. Another well hide!
We noticed this cache while we were in the area. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find in a common style of hide. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks memphis kronklee for the cache.
As it’s a nice albeit overcast day, thought I’d get out on the bike and see if I could pick up a few caches here & there
A quick find, sign & return

Today I tried one cache and found it.
This afternoon, I went to Seaton for business, and I tried this cache as it's close by.
Parked around the corner, and walked to GZ.
Found the cache easily. Indeed 1.5/1.5 for difficulty/terrain ratings.
Signed the log book, and put the cache back.
Thanks for the cache, memphis kronklee.

This area is changing so much.
Today I decided it was too nice a day to do housework, but the perfect day for some cycling and caching. So off I pedalled into the welcoming sunshine

Easy find TFTC. 8.30 @ nite and the streets are full of parked cars. Like finding a park in the city.
Here with froghoppin to find Anne.
OMG what a tightly packed housing area this is now!!!
Getting claustrophobia just walking down the street
Thanks to teamkronklee for hiding this cache on our SA geo map game board

Most Geocaches are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about especially away from the city crowds,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

Adelaide Trip. May 2021. Day 8. I started my day off around Unley and the region around it. I needed a Puzzle today and was looking to do the Lab series here as well. A nice day that finished a bit sooner than expected so I headed West to finish some other activities.
I came all the way over here to find some Lab caches in a set I started earlier in the week. I felt I had to get at least one cache while I was over here, so I walked over to this one for a nice find.
Thanks for the cache teamkronklee

Due to a quiet caching year I hadn't completed the 'wonders of the world' souvenirs yet and after a big day yesterday I noticed I was still missing one.
By finding this cache I have now completed the set!
