Our last day in the area before we head home tomorrow. A beautiful day to find some more caches here. Found with Earthlight and Shandyk, and signed the log EGS. TFTC.
Found while in Mildura for the weekend. And staying sooooo close too, almost like Id planned it that way . Many thanks TheMoules for providing this game piece for our enjoyment.Greetings from Tatura
Taking a few days off work so I can get away to Mildura for a long weekend. My first time in Mildura so lots of geocaches to tackle to keep me entertained. Perfect conditions to be outside and geocaching. I managed to solve all of the puzzles in this series in the months leading up to my visit. A good variety of puzzles to test the gray matter. I found all of the caches over 3 days. A good mix of hides and terrain. My 2WD car was really put to the test. For the last 6 of the series found, I didnt trust my car so ended up doing them on foot. I really need to get myself a 4WD car. All found and no DNFs. A couple had cracked lids but all containers were found without problems. Thank you 4Moule, for placing #41 The Turtle Series for the geocaching community.# # #15592 # #
Well thats was a nice walk. We will somehow do this in sections because little legs isnt loving it. TFTC!
Up to Mildura for a week with Littleboss2, Sorceysal and Geo the puppy. We'd solved a few puzzles between us, (Ss about 97% of them) and this was the week to grab as many as we could, as well as the multiple labs, multis and trads, and really enjoy this stunning area. After a wild night, we really felt the heat and humidity that happens post rain, but it's all a part of what Australia's diverse zones bring on board. Plenty of sharp bindis added to the fun. Is that what gaiters are for? Our thanks to TheMoules for this amazing series
A week away geocaching in Mildura with Bogonghazy, Sorceysal and Geo dog. Thanks to sorceysal for solving the majority of these puzzles. A windy day and a bit soggy underfoot, we managed to tick off most of this series. Thankyou to TheMoules for this great series
A week of caching and golf with bogonghazy and Littleboss 2 in and around Mildura and of course any smileys we can pick up on the way.Sorry for the generic log. I really appreciated the help of the CO with some of these puzzles.
It was time to tackle the Turtle Series. Solving the puzzles began some time ago, but was done in earnest during the first of the long Covid lockdowns while supervising our eldest grandson while he was involved in remote learning. A great way to keep us occupied, but also stopping us from hovering over him while he did his work.We had envisaged doing much of the trails on bike but decided the night before to abandon that idea and do the caches with a mixture of car travel and walking. Turned out to be a wise decision as with soft and spongy trails and a myriad of thorns, burrs and bindis we think we would have been in trouble. It meant a lot of walking, but then that is supposed to be good for us!The hides were straightforward with in most case few options which was appreciated. Only one DNF. We also picked up a few other caches en route, a couple good field puzzles and containers.Thank you for a great series well executed.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache TheMoules.**SKI Pair****
We found your cache today 6 May 2024 12:36pm , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC TheMoules
Found while having a look around the area today, staying in Mildura for the week. Went for a walk around to find the last of the turtle series caches, getting all but one DNF. A great piece of geoart, thanks for placing!Find #6967 on 18 Apr 2024.TFTC TheMoules!
We completed this Turtle Series during covid lockdown (which seems an age ago now). And now were finally here. Today we found a few of them and this was the first one. Thank you for the puzzle and placing the cache. This was a quick find thanks to good coordinates. All is good and dry here. Thank you.
On my way back home after spending some time with daughter and family doing handyman stuff. Paint a room, move furniture, plumbing........Called into this series to clock up 3000 finds for 2023 Love this series, great location, nice hides. Thanks for placing and maintaining them, especially with the recent flooding.TFTC SL
Apologies for this generic log. I spent most of the day travelling to Mildura. I was only sidetracked a couple of times in Hay, which meant that I arrived here later than I expected. However, after booking into my night's accommodation and resting for a brief time, I felt re energised and set out after a few of this incredible series that I had already solved at home. I wasn't going to attempt to finish the series. Rather, I found a small group and was happy to complete them all. It would have been so much easier if I had brought my bike, but I hadn't, so I did a fair bit of walking. I thoroughly enjoyed searching for these caches as they all had such good coordinates. All that I attempted were found, and their log were signed. TFTC 4Moule
What a fabulous series that I have been looking forward to experiencing. AMoule is a very interactive, generous, and creative geocacher. Thank you so much for this wonderful geocaching experience in an environment with so much wildlife! It was great to walk after so much driving. Much respect from kbucky
After finding quite a few of this series when the ground was extremely boggy it was great to find the rest of this series today with dry trails to ride on. All logs were dry unless stated otherwise. It was quite warm today so I was on the look out for wriggly sticks and thankfully I did not come across any. Thanks for a great series.
I've been eager to visit Mildura ever since these wonderful puzzles were solved during lockdown. Our major goal was to complete this series and we have finally made it with our first full day of caching in temperatures of 25. A welcome change after Melbourne's chilly weather. We used my RAV4 which struggled on some of the tracks to drive to and others we decided to walk. Except when otherwise stated, the majority of caches were found quickly and are in excellent condition.Thank you so much TheMoules for this brilliant series, which has taken us to some wonderful locations.

First and only full day of caching today so making the most of the opportunity to duck out for a few caches while on a work trip to the area. Seeking out the occasional challenge or two, or trying to mop up any solves that I might have from puzzle group or even some from lockdown days of old.

Found with nannynomad, MazzyMay and Joybell53 and logged as DYLZ for short (the last letters of our caching names.) We had solved the Turtle series at home and today we managed to find some of them. TFTC

Really enjoyed this series. Thankyou for placing this cache.
We worked these out awhile ago but haven’t done them all. Slowly chipping away grabbing them using Cachly and the Garmin Etrex22x. Thanks 4Moule for The Turtle Series tftc
A mischief of magpies observed me rehide the turtle whom had been so carelessly discarded from his home. TFTC

This is a really interesting place. A lake teeming with birds and life on one side and nothing on the other lake. But the river is awesome. Appreciate the work and effort that has gone into this series.
Day 4 of our Mildura Madness run and the gang is all here ??. Really looking forward to looking around. Signing as MMA23 or MMA or caching name depending on the signer. (Mildura May Adventures)

Found while on a fabulous weekend away to Mildura to complete the Paddlesteamer, Turtle and various trads, multis + gadget caches. The Canberra crew included Nibletricecakes, joolay, kittykatch, youban, dty73, tankengine, & albida33. We signed as Mildura May Adventures 23 (MMA23). Unless otherwise mentioned, all caches were quickly found. TFTC.
Today was our second day adventuring together in the district. Out to tackle the Paddlesteamer and as many other amazing caches as we can with a lovely bunch of Canberra friends! Always fantastic to be able to get away for a long weekend of caching together. Loved the red dust and the crazy caching trails. Thanks for all the hard work from COs make and maintain these caches. Called our trip the Mildura May Adventure so signed as MMA or MMA23 today. Great to be caching with you KLSARC, GLISS! Albida33, Kittykatch, Barb2e, Joolay, Tankengine, DTY73 and youban. Thanks for a great weekend everyone. Thanks for the cache.
Southern Autumn adventure Day 54. Mildura Paddle Steamer Trip Day 3. After a huge day, the MAA team (Mildura Autumn Attack and we consisted of Nibletricecakes, Gliss!, Joolay, Kitty Katch, Barb2e, Tankengine, dty73, Youban and Albida33) headed back to the Paddle Steamer to finish the last bit. It did not take too long, and the whole series has been a joy of accurate and present caches. The next goal was the various Gadget caches rear Red Cliffs and then by the Gliding field. The day was completed with an all out effort to get to all the Turtle caches. Plenty of drive bys, but a few fun walks on muddy flats. This was another great series. A few of us gathered for take away dinner and retired for what rest could be achieved before tomorrows activities.
Thanks for the cache TheMoules

We appreciate all the work that went into creating this series of puzzles and Geo art. It was definitely a drawcard for bringing us to Mildura for a few days.
The walk today is pretty hot, and so we set off early, keen to get as much done before the heat is too overwhelming.
Thanks 4Moule

Out for an early morning stroll today (since my bike was stolen from the caravan park I’m staying at) and picked up a number of the turtle series. All quick finds. This was one of them. Took me a while to figure out how best to get to this one as a lot of the road are currently closed due to flood, but eventually found my way to GZ. Thanks for placing this series all over this beautiful location.
We are in Mildura for a few days to look for the Turtle series and the Paddlesteamer series. Apologies for some generic logs. In most cases the the coordinates were accurate and the searches were straightforward. Interesting puzzle which took a little effort to decipher. Thanks to 4Moule for the puzzle and cache.
Went through some of these puzzles that I hadn't solved yet and this one turned out to be simple when looked at the right way. A quick grab in fading light. Tftc
Another cache find on our 2022 South Australian Adventure, yes I know we have wandered over the border. Never mind, It is a wonderful day just perfect for geocaching so we are off to look for turtles. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.
28,476. Found with minniek while visiting the region for the Tri-State Community Events/International Geocaching Day weekend.
When minniek and I heard about the huge 8 event weekend (4 Community Celebration Events, 3 'normal' events and 1 CITO) to be held in Berri/Wentworth/Mildura/Euston celebrating International Geocaching Day, we knew that we wanted to be there. An early departure from Goulburn on Friday morning, and we arrived in Berri in time for the first of the events. After a night camping we headed out to the first couple of events for the day, and then went on for a few specific caches. We targeted the Turtle series as we have lots of them still to find and they were fun puzzles. We found this series to be very well set up and in interesting locations, and great containers. A quick find here at GZ. Stamped the logbook, replaced the cache as found and we continued on to the next one.
Thanks TheMoules !! Fav Point for all these caches.

fity_1965 and I decided to head away for an extra long weekend so that we could attend the Tri-State Community Celebration Events along with the other events that have popped up.
A fantastic time was had and a nice number of caches found. Thanks to all the CO's for holding the events and/or placing the caches.
After a great nights sleep at Marty's Bend costing us only $5, we were up early for a busy International Geocaching day. We started off with a few caches around Martin's Bend before heading off for the first event: a breakfast in Berri Central. After breakfast we teamed up with the Kelly Gang to find a couple of caches on the Vic/SA border, then continued on to Wentworth. Arrived a little after start time. Was nice to relax and sit by the Darling River and chat to everyone. We have stayed at the nearby caravan park so it will be nice to see what it looks like after the renovations. We left not long after the end of the event to do some serious caching before the third CCE for the day in Mildura. The turtle series is providing us with a nice variety of caches whilst in the area this weekend.
It was wonderful to see cachers we hadn't seen for a while and to meet several new ones. There ended up being cachers from SA, Vic, NSW, Tas & QLD! Amazing!

First find of the turtle series! Thought starting on this geoart was a fitting way to celebrate International Geocaching weekend, since we can’t attend any events with sick Geokids!

#18527. Robmc and I have arrived near Merbein to make a start on the PaddleSteamer and Turtle Series. A beautiful sunny but cool day to get on the bikes and load the doggies into their trailer and start with the Turtle. We covered approximately 22km (mostly after lunch) after a short morning ride along some river tracks and got back at about 4.30pm. With another cold night coming up it should be another enjoyable bike day tomorrow. Some cute containers noted on our journey today.
Thanks 4Moule

First day in Mildura with BettyBoo3747.
Spent most of the day setting up and shopping, etc.
Hit the trails on the deadly treadlies and did some Turtle Series caches.
So far a great series for the bikes, some very nice trails.
Dogs enjoyed the run and ride too.
Thanks for this interesting series.
Solved all these when they first came out, glad to be able to finally pick some up.
Thanks, Robmc.

Day 7 of the long road trip from Western Australia to Townsville, Queensland.
Caching today was in Mildura mainly doing the Turtle Series and one of the Adventure Labs. Unfortunately half the final ground zeros somehow dissappeared from the GPS so had to rely on the tablet to work out where to find the Turtles. It made the day long and a case of backtracking a few times when it was found some caches had been missed.
This cache found without problems. Log signed and the cache returned as it was found.
Thanks TheMoules for placing and maintaining this cache for geocachers to find.

Had some fun with the puzzles, but not ha;f as much as with the caches. We were limited to a 2WD today instead of the usual 4WD which was in being serviced. Some of the tracks were very venturesome, so we> will return tomorrow with the 4WD to finish the series off.
Fun fun fun!!

#13000 - 8:50:00 AM; Day 4 of the Wang Mega tour with Sol de lune. After arriving in Mildura yesterday evening, our major focus for today is 'The Turtle Series'. An early start and we were soon in position to begin the hunt. Parked the geomobuile and set off knocking over some smaller sections and some larger sections as we moved through the various locations. Completed most of the mission today on foot as we weren't in 4WD mode and much of the area was out of bounds to vehicles in any event. A well constructed and planned series worthy of a favourite point! This cache turned out to be another mileston as my 13,000th find! TFTC 4Moule
After a couple of great days in and around Wang at the Mega, followed by a drive to Echuca, LuckyL10n and I were now in Mildura. LL has some business to attend to, however with time before and after meetings we set on the path of the 'Turtle'.
Not knowing the area that well, we took a few wrong turns, however once in the right spots, we parked at some caches and walked for quite a few of them. All the locations we walked were interesting to see and the good news was that all the caches were found. We completed 40 of them today, leaving us another walk for 9 tomorrow, and then #50 to finish off. That was fun itself, but is also a log for tomorrow.
Many thanks for the series 4moule. All the decorated containers were appreciated and shows a commitment to the series. A favourite point for each and everyone.

What a fab day of caching in the by 4WD, MTB and on foot! Took some nice pics. Soaked up the fresh air and got a healthy dose of exercise. Only got a bit muddy today but rounded out the day at the carwash
The primary targets were the which were solved over a few sessions on the couch. Fun puzzles and nearly all solved solo. A couple of the trickier ones required a CO nudge. Really good coords and consistent hides and some scenic locations. I decided to allocate points to my favourite puzzles rather than GZ.
S’pose a solver could be used but did it on paper

Day out with Gunks in Mildura. Hastily solved Turtle clues gave us a few hours of searching. Great walk around the oranges and grapes. TFTC
In Mildura for a day, hit the Mildura Brewery last night, parkrun this morning, followed by breaky, then out for a hike to find some cache. Blitz some of the puzzles in the week, wasn’t sure how many we would have time to find, especially with all the trads in the area too. Ended up jogging and hiking 28km today in total. TFTC.
In Mildura for ANZAC day and to catch up with some family so decided to do this interesting little series. A few days of solving and today I'm collecting some more of the Turle series caches. Hope to finish the series in the next day or so. Tftc

In Mildura for a few days with Snap Happy, omegaman1971, Happy Feet, Happy Pants and The Empire.
After finishing off the GOT series it was time for Me to do the turtle series, it was a little challenging getting to some locations but I managed to get them all done.
The highlight for the day were the fantastic gadget caches in the area.
Thanks 4Moule for the cache.

Had the puzzles solved for a while now with a bit of an early nudge from CO for a couple, thanks. Today we had the opportunity to get out and sign the logs on our transit to Adelaide.
All the caches attempted today were found, assisted by good accurate coords. All were in good condition even down to the nicely sharpened pencils. Generally great hiding spots.
Apologies for the generic logs which in no way detracts from our enjoyment of the trails on a beautiful autumn morning. Thanks 4Moule

In Mildura as part of a larger group of caching family and friends to tackle a couple of series in and around town, today we focused on the Turtle Series and also made the most of seeing some new sights and grab a bag load of smilies. Never really had much of a chance or reason to have a look around Lake Hawthorn besides driving past it so it was good to have a chance to explore this beaut area a little more closely. Had some great weather for us to enjoy our visit and also had some laughs and fun as we made our way around the area, this hide was soon found after a short search, as they say many hands make light work. Thanks 4Moule for the puzzle and the hide.
*Staying in Mildura for a few days*
In town with Happy pants, Happy Feet, The Empire, omegaman1971 and Rebel Acts for a few nights and to clean up the Paddle Steamer Geo Art Trail and a few other series if time permitted.
We headed out to grab a few local caches prior to hitting the series. We made our way to GZ where we made the straight forward find. I have seen many wonderful sights, a fantastic variety of hides and taken many photos around this fantastic area
Thanks for the puzzles and the cache 4Moule. Appreciate your efforts.

Stamped log and returned as found.

Cache on!

This was a great opportunity to get away with some caching friends in Mildura. The plan was to hit some of the local trails and geo art. There was many other hides discovered, with some really great containers and hides in the area.
Thanks 4Moule for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Has been many years since I was here last , the town has certainly changed.
Really enjoyed these puzzles and the series, cheers 4Moule.

Here in Mildura for a few days with Snap Happy, omegaman1971, Happy Feet and Happy Pants.
Today's target was this cool Turtle Series - we were able to find all of the caches and had a few laughs along the way. Driving along the edge of the lake was a highlight - I was able to drop off some stickers and pathtags in some of the caches. Thanks for the cache, and the cool series 4Moule.

For the first time in a long time, it was road trip time. With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home for so long, the borders were finally opening and the feet were itchy for a decent caching trip. Plans were made with FurfacesLL to do a 10 day road trip across to Mildura and Loxton to do a heap of caching and we were excited. Across the 10 days we racked up over 4,300km in driving, multiple hotels/motels, brought home enough red dust to create our own sand pit in the back yard and collected over 1800 finds between us. It was a massive trip and lots of fun was had.
We teamed up with GoodLook, FeatherTop, The Drovers and LiB and signed most logs as "The Mob". There were a few caches which were signed as individual team names as some teams had already completed said caches, those will be noted individually.
Our target caches were the Turtle Series, the Paddle Steamer Series and the On Ya Bike wherigo Series, heaps of other caches were also collected along the way but our primary target caches were completed which made us all very happy and very tired geocachers.
First day out and about in Mildura, remember solving this one. The hides on this series are getting more and more difficult to get to especially since the day was heating up and the flies were intensifying. A nice easy solve on this one.
Thanks for the hides 4Moule And thanks to "The Mob" for a trip to remember [^].

A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA.
With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA.
The group grew from two to six rather quickly after having a chat to GoodLook about our plans.
Our power team “The Mob” consisted of GoodLook, LíB, Rapidlywild, The Drovers and ourselves. This team ended up being very productive and some new friendships were made. Always a bonus in my book.
All logs were stamped with “The Mob” to save space and time.
This series proved very challenging and tough going.
Thanks for the placement and maintenance of this series 4Moule.

All caches are stamped as The Mob (consisting of The Drovers, LíB, FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild and myself).
I acknowledge the hard work that went into creating this series including the puzzles, and sincerely thank the CO.
Overall, our group found the hides a little disjointed (locations wise), and difficult to access, yet the containers were great and the series is certainly well maintained. It was quite hot when we tackled this series, and navigating some of the hides were challenging (working out where to park the cars and where to walk/ what 4WD tracks we could access etc). I enjoyed solving the puzzles, so it was great turning the green dots into yellow smiley faces.
2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip was spontaneously planned and I was able to pull together a number of my caching friends who hadn't cached together before to form "The Mob".
LíB and I started in SA, drove to Victoria and ended our trip in SA; FurfacesLL and Rapidlywild came from Canberra and The Drovers began their journey from NSW; and then a few days later, feathertop from Victoria, joined us to complete the On Your Bike Series and other caches in SA.
We filled our days with piling in cars, hard core caching, Adventure Labs, crazy funny CB radio chatter, some laughter, some tense moments (OMG some of the ladder and tree climbs on this trip were crazy!), lots of lovely meals and even live music from a band called "Kung Fu Jesus" - nope, that is no joke.
We had hot weather each day (well into 30s), so I am thrilled that I now own a car fridge to keep the drinks icy cold (loving them at about 1 degree).
Thanks to 4Moule for placing these caches

This cache was found during a week long geo vacation, spaning Victoria and South Australia, with the company of several awesome geocaching teams
All logs were stamped/signed as The Mob. For the Mildura leg of this geo vacation "The Mob" consisted of GoodLook, The Drovers, FurfacesLL & Rapidlywild.
The day was warm and the flies annoying as we walked the dry and dusty trails.
All containers and logs were found in good condition.
Your efforts in placing and maintaining this series are greatly appreciated

A plan was hatched a few weeks ago to head to Mildura,
to complete the Turtle series and the PS series.
We stamped each log as 'The Mob' to save space and time.
'The Mob' this time was made up of GoodLook, LíB, FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild,
and ourselves.
Due to lack of local knowledge, we ended up doing a lot of walking.
Some of the tracks were a little rough, but we were grateful they were dry.
Many thanks for placing this cache, 4Moule, for us and others to find.

Four South Australian's ventured across the border to attempt the paddle Steamer series.
Three of us then went on to do the Turtle series the following day.
What a fantastic day!!!
Thanks for placing this amazing series for cachers to find.

A group of South Australians jumped to border in to Victoria for the long weekend. The group was Allister W, JJ52, Mogni, Sir_spectre, and BratKat. All logs stamped as " Mystery Random's ". We left Adelaide and headed over to Mildura. The target for the puzzlers was to clear the highway caches then complete the " Turtle series " and the " Paddle Steamer series " since they had solved all the puzzles before coming over. My target was the D5/T5 underwater field puzzle and also hoping to get up to 13000 finds this trip ( that was achieved ). Once those goals where filled we mainly targeted caches with high favourite points and started on the many multi's that are in Mildura. I highly enjoyed the field puzzles and themed caches from the locals and sorry to say that we only did 1 of the night caches. On the 2nd night after doing 356 caches during the day it bucketed down that night and we had a beer/wine or two instead. We will be back, maybe not this year, but it will be the sooner, not later.
A long weekend with a big plan. A group attack on the powertrails near Mildura. Two of us solved all the puzzles and then covid hit so they got put into the get around to it one day basket... Covid back under control so a plan was hatched to go interstate for the first time in over a year and be allowed to return without having to isolate for 2 weeks. Joined up with sir_spectre, JJ52, Allister W and Bratkat. We cached as the mystery randoms which suited us while well. Both powertrails were found and we managed to grab a few others while travelling around. I am usually a regular visitor Mildura but it had been a couple of years between trips. I am sure we will all be back to complete the many great caches we researched but din't have time to find. Thanks for a great weekend.
Thanks to 4Moule from mogni

I enjoyed the walk around with the Mystery Randoms finding all the caches in the Turtle Series and a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Thanks for the series 4Moule

Two of us spent a long time solving all the puzzles in the Turtle and Paddle Steamer series along with the other puzzles around Mildura, but they were put away waiting for the time when we could get over to find the caches.
We had a very busy weekend and managed to find all of the Turtle and Paddle Steamer caches along with some of the high favourited caches, an Adventure Lab, one night cache, quite a few gadget caches and a couple of water caches...and then we ran out of time.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a great time finding lots of different caches and we will have to make a return trip to find those that we didn't get around to.
All caches stamped "Mystery Randoms" [^]
Managed to find all the Turtle caches on our drive and walk around the lakes. [;D]

Lucky for me, the team I was tagging along with had solved the puzzles back home. Thank you 4Moule for developing such a cute geoart series

After an 18 month geocaching hiatus, this March long weekend I tagged along with Mogni, Sir Specture, JJ52 and Allister (caching as the Mystery Randoms) to conquer the Mildura Paddle Steamer and Turtle. We were lucky to encounter good weather, fine caches and a lot of red dust! Many thanks to 4Moule and the Mildura caching community for creating an entertaining geo-destination. TFTC! See you again soon.
