tony_craddock I found your cache McKell Park on 13/2/20, 12:35 pm. This is my find 2508 and find # 1 today. After a brief search soon had CIH. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
This was my cache of the day. Thanks so much for showing me this amazing park. No problems finding the well camoed cache. Nicely done. I then took a stroll through the grounds. Wow, amazing little hidden gem, stunning views and the gardens and lawn are just beautifully kept. What a great spot for an event. The heavens opened up while here but good karma as I found a discarded umbrella and the numerous trees kept me dry.
Had to be very careful avoiding a couple of elderly muggles sitting in their car enjoying the view.
Quick grab, sign and return.
Thanks tony_craddock for placing this cache here for me to find.

Found it after circling and circling. Managed to cop an ant bites before laying hands on the cache tftc
We came to check out the park as the venue for a friend's wedding. My son made the find before I even really got started. TFTC.
We found it, but can’t reach it because it has fallen deep into the crack. But TFTC!

Companions: None
Muggles: Someone sitting nearby
Weather: Lovely spring afternoon
Cache condition: Good
I had been at a conference in Double Bay, and afterwards decided to go for a walk around the area. I headed up to the point, which was a reasonable distance away, enjoying the perfect spring weather and views. Once at GZ I made a quick find (TNLNSL) before exploring the attractive park and then waiting for a ferry to the city. TFTC

I got to GZ by foot, ferry, train, then bus. Luckily the weather was pretty nice. Found the cache without any problems, then decided to return to Circular Quay by ferry from Darling Point. Ferries from here are few and far between (and I'd never been to this wharf before) but I'd checked the timetable in advance, and chose my time well.
Nice one. Thank you, tony_craddock

A quick and easy find. Had to wait out some workers. It was a pleasant wait in the park watching the day go by. Cheers
Back in Sydney now, time for one more day wandering and caching before we fly home tonight..
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Had to sit in the park and wait for muggles to move. We were entertained by a dad and 2 sons running wild and playing reverse I spy, and some wonderful vegetation and the ferry coming and going. Such a good time and then a creative cache! Just a few more before heading to the airport. Tftc
A walk today from Rose Bay to this cache took me past some magnificent homes. The ferry ride from the nearby wharf to Circular Quay took me past some more. Thanks for bringing me here.
At first we were not sure on which side of the fence we should search, but after taking the wrong approach and not reaching GZ,we decided for another approach. Well, there it was in it's very creative camo.
Staying at CYCA after bringing a boat up from Melbourne. Took an early morning walk while my crewmates slept. A nice spot with great views and certainly worth the extra time to roam around the park.
Arrived in Australia today, visiting my sister for 10 days. Had a busy day, so not much time for geocaching, but we was passing here after a ferry trip. Had a quick search, and first Australian cache. TFTC
A great spot for a geocache, such a nice little park, and a great container. thanks
Took a slight detour on my way to work today, going via the Eastern Suburbs, for this newish cache at Darling Point. Was unsure what the parking would be like on this Easter Monday Public Holiday, but was pleased to find plenty of parking spots available very close to the cache, at the end of Darling Point Road.
Headed over to a muggle free GZ and quickly located the nicely camoed cache container. Took a seat at the nearby park bench and soaked up the sparkling harbour views, where the log sheet was duly signed, and then the cache was replaced as found.
Afterwards I took a pleasant stroll through McKell Park, which I learnt was the site of the 1904 Gothic style mansion Canonbury, with nothing but the old foundations visible amongst the green lawns nowdays. Thanks tony_craddock for bringing me to this interesting park, and for the cache.

Found on a chick detour before going to a play in Potts Point.
I was looking for the cache, and I actually was going to throw the camo away when I realized that the cache was actually there!
Great hide

After a lengthy but fairly successful meeting in the city this morning I caught the train to Edgecliff and walked along Darling Point Road to McKell Park. I enjoyed looking at the views of the city (I'd like to live here for the view but not the traffic) and the beautiful old homes and their lovely gardens.
Once at GZ I sat and enjoyed the view then checked the GPS to see where I should search. It pointed me in the right direction and the cache was a quick find. I signed the log sheet and replaced the cache.
Then it was the hike up the hill stopping at the bus stop to see if there was any chance of one coming. Yes, 10 minutes but I estimated it would only take that time to walk back to the station so I walked on the opposite side of the street to enjoy more gardens.
The bus and I arrived at the station together so I was glad I took the walk with the views.

After the great breakfast event hosted by RoddyC we did this new one with a small group of cachers. Enjoyed also the great view of Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
Thanks for this one and getting us here.

Came by during lunch today. When I arrived, I didn't think the GPS would be much help so tried to find the cache using the geoforce. After going around in circles and not finding anything, I decided to give the GPS another chance and it took me right to the cache! I should have trusted it from the start.
Lovely views here. TFTC!

Awesome camo on this little one, we were thrilled to come up with a find after assuming the wrong hiding spot and almost giving up on it all together. The youngest member of our formidable team came up with an idea after double checking on the compass, which is notoriously unreliable in this situations. Brilliant, TFTC
Amazing hiding spot. Our third find today. No idea how the owner of this cache did that! Security cameras watching our every move, a nearby wedding and a large boat full to the brim with muggles sailed right past. Also a lot of insect life.
How did you do that with the geocache it’s cool. Logged in and starting to rain ️

An easy find if you can take your eyes off the awesome view long enough to look for it. TFTC craddock
A break in the rain meant PelDroedGwin and I could get out to grab a couple of caches.
With a wedding in the park all the nearby muggles we occupied.
A beautiful spot so after the find we day on the bench to enjoy the view

OCW the Bebes on this wet Saturday afternoon. Lovely location and views. Tftc.
Well that wasn't what I was expecting. I remember coming here for a previous cache and taking an age to find it. Not so today, although I did have to wait for a muggle cyclist to move off the seat, before I could make the grab. What a wonderful spot to sit and watch the world go by; well today it was those very large and expensive yachts. What a spectacle. TFTC
FTF- My 2nd of the morning, after "William Simcoe" and approx 15mins later.
Do recall the previous hide here and nice to see a new one back on track. Found before the sunrise and obviously not a muggle seen, thanks tony_craddock

After staring at a screen today I made a quick detour home to be the 2TF. Have not been to this park since I was a kid and remember it vividly. There was a wedding rehearsal for tomorrow taking place. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC!
3TF. A couple of new cache to grab on the cycle home this evening, some distance apart but an enjoyable cycle on mostly familiar tracks. I've only ever been as far as the CYC so enjoyed going a bit further and exploring this outcrop on the harbour. Once at the GZ I hunted around a little before spotting something and uncovered a very nicely camo'd cache. Sat on the spot and undertook SL duties before heading off to Annandale to find the new Willem Simcoe cache. TFTC tony_craddock, nice one. #783
