Logs
Saw this one was back so Stopped by on my lunch break to search for this cache, but unfortunately, I came up empty-handed. I checked around the rocks, in all the likely hiding spots, and even got a bit creative with angles, but no luck this time.
We revisited after receiving emails from the reviewer to check on our cache. The cache is still in a small crack on top and is wedged behind a small rock.
Didnt mean to disable. Cache is still in a crack up on top. We have sent photos to your email.
Something is not right about this cache, it was hidden in March 2019 and had around 110 finds up until June 2020, then over the next four years about 80 dnfs have been logged, with no finds. The CO has been logging numerous replacement logs, yet the dnfs have kept coming, the hint has never been changed, despite notes from the CO that it's in a different position now. It just doesn't add up
After another hour of searching i am recommending the archival of this geocache. With no finds since June 2020 and over 50 DNF logs it has become a consistent source of frustration for the community. The owner has not replaced it, which underscores the need for action.Archiving this cache is necessary to preserve the spirit of geocaching and could pave the way for new caches in the area. Thank you for your consideration.
Climbed all over the rocks and searched thoroughly, but no luck finding the cache. However i did manage to catch a nice 32 cm bream for dinner At least I came home with something. Hoping to return and try again soon
Just as well the missus and I like to come here regularly for walks, especially the rocky areas.
After a string of DNFs on this one I thought Id pay it a visit today as I just happened to be in the area. I can confirm that the cache is not at the location given by the cache owner previously and needs some attention.
We had hoped to find this one today but alas it wasnt to be. I climbed all over the rock without luck. Thanks anyway Matthewsclan5
After some rock climbing and scrambling, I gave it my best shot, but the cache still eluded me. Checked every nook and cranny
I had no luck looking for the cache. Considering others with more finds also haven't been successfull it might be worth checking if the cache is still there.
A bit too wet and slippery even tho the tide was out. Had a look up top and checked the seawall but no luck.Think Ill leave it to the younger brigade. Thanks anyway.
Another search and another DNF. Coincidentally it is 4 years to the day since I visited this place. I checked thoroughly up the top as it is suggested, but again like so many others came away empty handed. Whatever it is and where it is, is certainly a mystery. Maybe a little extra tip might help for whoever is brave enough to give it a go next. Good luck.
Is the hint still suitable? There is no buoy anymore, just a metal pole that I guess once supported one.
Didn't find the cache on Friday, even though it was exactly what I was expecting. Scrambled up rocks, looking on both sides, but came up empty-handed. Not sure if it has really been replaced. We'll wait for someone else to confirm.
We replaced our cache two months ago and went to check on since it has been disabled. The cache is still in place in a small crack up on the seawall. We took some photos and have sent them to your email. It is a nice climb to the top and you need to look carefully
There is something wrong with this one and it needs some owner love. Given the long term issues with this going missing and the conjecture of it is actually in place I'm going to ask the cache owner to send me an email at [email protected] with some pictures of the cache in place before it is re-enabled.
Enjoying a wonderful family function here Yesterday, and took a moment with my son to explore Paegle and search for the cache. The owner insists it has been replaced, but we had no luck finding it. The view here is absolutely stunning! We even saw some whales. Unfortunately, the cache remains elusive. Has it actually been placed or replaced?
I gave the pinnacle 15 mins of my life today, and once again came up with nada, I doubt the hint is still viable anymore.I searched the east and south east sides plus the top, oh well time to ignore this cache. Thanks.
Thanks for replacing. Are there any locals game enough to go out and look or check on this one again? In this weather, it may not survive long in the elements. I hope it's still around next time I'm in the area to avenge my DNF from 4 years ago.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU.
I think the frustrating thing about this cache is that from the time it was published to the first DNF, 109 cachers found it seemingly without a problem. It now hasn't been found since June 2020, (discounting Miss Trinity's find as that was an old updated find). Since then numerous cachers have tried to find it without success . Has the difficulty level changed since the last find? If so maybe that is why, as the cache is in a completely different spot to the original one.
I write this log to recommend the archival of this geocache. Despite the valiant efforts of the cache owner to maintain it, and their insistence that it's still in place and functional, it has become evident that this cache has been a source of consistent frustration for the geocaching community. With over 40 DNF logs and continued struggles to find the cache, it's clear that it's time for a physical replacement or Archiving this cache is necessary to ensure a meaningful geocaching experience for allIts not in the spirit of the game.I hope this decision can lead to better adventures for geocachers in the area and perhaps open the door to new and exciting caches in its place.

the hint might need to be updated CO, as i scrolled back all the way to the last string of finds and gathered all the info i could. i saw the updated hint about the thorny bush, and i did my best to thoroughly look all over the high points as well as the sides where the cache was previously. no luck. hopefully i'll be back and have CIH at some point

Needs to be archived the the own just keeps saying its been replaced when it doesn't actually get replaced.
it's marked as 'replaced'. yet the cache is not actually replaced each time This cache is taking a prime location yet isn't maintained and the owner hasn't responded to my messages. Please consider archiving so we can actually put a cache that will be maintained nearby. It's taking a beautiful spot, that's frustrating the caching community.
If this cache is still here, with over 40 dnfs in a row I think there should be a extra hint otherwise it should be archives
Wasn’t too keen with the winds and high tide this arvo; would love to come back and try again though!
Did everything wrong. Arrived from the wrong side with a grandchild in tow. Despite that I was probably sitting on the cache while taking photos. Beautiful location tinged with tears of sadness. DNF.
We enjoyed a bike ride along the blue mile to check on our disabled caches. The first two were missing but the cache at the seawall was still there! It is a tough one so be prepared to search carefully

Checked on our caches along the harbourfront this afternoon. Very happy to see the new container is still in place.

Poked around for a bit on a wet and windy day, no luck unfortunately. Though with the storm a couple of nights ago, it may well have been swept away?
New cache containers arrived in the mail. I hope these sturdier containers will last a little longer. Please be stealthy and return the cache properly ️

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

It may have been taken as several rocks have been removed. We crawled all over the rock.
Another attempt on this cache (45mins) and another DNF. Messaged owner for more details. I've given over 2hrs looking for this one, I suspect it's gone or the difficulty rating needs to be raised.
Many DNFs and I've been up there multiple times to try and resolve/find it. Owner hasn't responded. I'm living nearby so happy to either take it over or if it gets archived I'll replace it with another in a better location.
Thought I will try like the others but alas. Did not find. Ripper of a location though. Please set it up again.

After us both looking for a while up here and pulling out a rock u was 300% sure was it, we left this one with a DNF
Hmmmm DNF last night, was looking everywhere. Will give it another go with Beckatoza in the next few weeks.
