What a beautiful walk. You really dont feel like youre in the middle of mt annan! GPS going a bit loopy but from the hint I guessed right! TFTC
I can't count the number of times I've passed by this reserve, and said to myself that I must stop here one day and finally grab the hide within it. I had resolved this one quite some time ago after collection the info whilst out on a long walk with the geodog. Whilst it was a little damp underfoot, the path itself was fine. Upon arrival at the GZ, my device was having a bit of a moment as usual, and even though my senses were telling me where to look, I mistakenly trusted the device. After wandering around in the long grass, I decided to trust my gut and had a look to find the hide where I initially suspected. Signed the log and replaced before making my way back to the vehicle.
Needed to do another multi cache after so many traditional ones, even if its 31 degrees this afternoon. Gotta do some finds after some work gigs elsewhere. TFTC
Was at a park nearby with family this morning, so when the kidlets were tired out and ready to go home for lunch, I left their parents to it and ducked over here. I've wanted to check out Gundungarra Reserve and William Howe Regional Park for a while now, so it was nice to tick one off!It was an easy walk to the way point, with the only others around being a trio of magpies exploring the grass path near a t-intersection. I also noticed a few good places to hide a cache along the way - places I would consider if I was looking to place a cache in this park myself.Once at the waypoint, I nervously noted the massive ant colony near the sign I needed, and then realised the ground was full of smaller nests (or additional entrances to the main nest?) for quite some metres around. So I took a photo of the sign and then moved away to do the calculations. The calculations were straightforward, the checksums added up, so I entered the new co-ords and brought up the map, and then laughed. The cache was in one of the places I'd already seen in passing and thought might make a good hide! Clearly Sue & Dan had seen the same potential I made my way back to GZ, and found the cache pretty quickly. It was well hidden, but the camo is starting to come off, which helped confirm I was looking at cache before I had it properly exposed. There were no bees to be seen or heard, though I did disturb a poor skink, who tried to hide from me by going under the cache, only to panic even more when I picked it up!Signed the log and replaced the cache so it was fully hidden from view. Then I went back up the path to my car - encountering the same three magpies at a different spot and politely giving them wide berth again.A bit of fun, a bit of learning (I had no idea we had many echidnas in the area at all!) and a solid cache. And a gorgeous reserve to walk through. I heard Kookaburras, met Magpies, and saw a couple of juvenile Eastern Rosellas in the long grass. Very pleased to have finally visited this reserve!TFTC!
Streak Day #3837 - Back out this way with Dave8153 for our cache of the day. Quick find for us today. TFTC
12 January 2024This is find number: 9075Streak Day: 2948Found Today with Snoopy1976, out for a quick find today. ThanksThanks to SueDan83 for placing and maintaining this cache. TFTC
Checked on this cache and found no bees, again. However, if you do find bees there please do not risk getting stung. Take a photo of yourself or your cache name on a bit of paper with GZ in the background.
I went out for a walk around Spring Farm this morning. The first stop was the multi up here in Gundungurra Reserve. It was still nice and cool early in the morning. By the time I got here the dog walkers were out but not enough to bother me and the quest for the hidden treasure.Got to gz, read the sign, got the answers and moved on! Got to gz and was met by some VERY active . They were very busy. I went round the proverbial mulberry bush a couple times and decided I should be ok. Quickly I located the cache, signed and scaddadled. Hopefully the next cachers are not allergic to them bees!Tfth dictaham and clan
Out on a morning jog, with Gundungurra Reserve the destination of choice, including this multi.
Paused at the sign to read the required info and also wait for the GPS sports watch to get a signal. No issues there, and then swiftly on to a well-camouflaged hide at GZ. Thanks SueDan83 for the ecological lesson and multi

In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

Headed to this nice bushland reserve after completing a couple of local AL's.
Made my way to WP1 and collected the info with the sound of frogs nearby.
Approaching GZ I spotted a likely hiding spot with a geo-trail heading to it. Turns out that wasn't the right spot but it was very close by.

Last geocache before heading home and the kids had a ball walking along the path with what seemed like a hundred butterflies flying around us. Quickly finding the plaque to find out answers. We looked to the right and noticed a pocket hill (ant hill)
Quickly had answer to where it was located we headed off again. Knew straight away where we were heading back to it was the perfect geocache hiding spot. Log signed and headed back to the car

Nice walking track, very pretty location. Thankyou SueDan for the multi and the great hide.
A lovely Reserve that deserves a good multi that I appreciate. CIH and all in good order
Checked cache today. All good. No bees in sight.
Changing this to premium as we keep getting strange messages from some novices.

GZ was checked today and no bees were observed to be there.
If they do return, please do not risk trying to get to the cache.
Instead, take a photo of you or your GPSer or your name tag in front of GZ, and send it to us.
Then log a find.

As mentioned, there is a bee swarm in the tree, but just above head height. Not sure if they were native or otherwise. I stayed on my knees and signed the log, then got out of there. TFTC
First proper day of caching since freedom from lockdown and Oldmorty, Missmorty and I headed to the Campbelltown area to find some treasure.
A pleasant walk to the plaque and some numbers crunched gave us a likely GZ. Arrived to find a wild beehive but nothing that would prevent us from signing the log book and disturbing the locals. TFTC!

Another days caching around Narellan, this time with missmorty and morty8888. As soon as we pulled up here I realised that I had been here last week with frazeydaze doing a few of the COs puzzle caches.
Near gz missmorty was a little apprehensive with the long grasses but even more so at gz where she had to contend with a swarm of bees taking up residence.

Found it, grabbed and signed despite my squeamishness around sticking my hands in places! TFTC
Easy find to location one. Worked out the new coordinates however, I put in one wrong and did not know it. I had it written out correctly but just put one number in wrong. Hmmm well 500 meters later I saw my mistake when I could not find the cache and re checked my gps again. Grrrr Ah well it is a nice place for a walk. Picked up a Trackable. Will drop it off in Norfolk Island in two weeks. (Hopefully)
Geofriend does it again. I thought geosense was something you developed, over time, honing your sense, building upon previous finds. But no, Geofriend is on her second day or caching and she's got it already.
Great camouflage, great hide. Thank you for bringing me here . Great walking track . TFTC
Logging a day late as I’ve had no data or internet. A day out caching with mrwhiskers76, I’ve been in the area a few times before but never for caching!
This multi was the last find for the day yesterday. I would have never of guessed that this was in the area. After making our calculations, we headed to gz. Upon arrival it started to sprinkle, we quickly signed the log and replaced as found. I believe mrwhiskers76 grabbed some trackables and left one. The water in the pond, didn’t look very appealing...
Thank you for the cache!!
A nice little multi with some great history, after calculating the coordinates for ground zero we made the walk there for a quick find. We picked up the two trackables and left one, thank you!
Out in the afternoon with teamMerlin and TARDIS 0061 to clear up a few solved puzzles and trads along the way while completing two Adventure Lab caches.
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache SueDan83

On an afternoon caching run with TARDIS 0061 and phlphotos today with the aim of collecting some nearby adventure labs and puzzle caches in the area. In the area and it was just a short detour to the posted coordinates, worked out what was needed and after a short work and search found what we needed to find. All containers and logs found along the way are in good condition. Thanks for the cache SueDan83.
The following TBs came through for the mileage : Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Mary Hyde's Treasure, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), Vanlith The Youngling, Hidden Creatures Geocoin TB, teamMerlin's Football

A very nice stroll around the park on a brilliant afternoon. I met a co-stroller who was as lovable as her German Shepherd friend. I didn't linger to ask many questions TFTMC
First time doing a cache with coordinates. With the help of my Brother we were able to locate it. Didn't bring a pen for the log. Rookie error for sure.
The first really warm Spring day of the year that ive had so far and a good one to be out caching on.
There was plenty of animal life out and about while i was in the reserve but no muggles around which was nice.
I collected the numbers at WP1 and retreated to the shade to do the calculations.
I had a good idea of where the clue was leading and once i reached the GZ made a quick find.
Thanks for this one. I actually learned something today because of it.

Found with Littl3Vix on our adventure out tonight.
We had a nice walk over to WP1 but woke some birds on our way. We gathered the required info and checked the location of GZ and seeing as it wasnt too far, we continued on.
Upon arrival, we both had the same hunch and it proved true. Thanks for the cache and the adventure! I can imagine it wojld be very pretty here during the day

Deciding to finish of the long work week with a geoventure for some multis. With Mizcupcake my partner in crime, we made our way up to this one. Seeing that it shouldn’t take long, and the rain was easing, we found a great spot of parking for the geomobile on the street close to a trail. Grabbing a torch and a notepad and pen we headed to gz. Walking down the trail tonight is gorgeous, there is fog coming up and the distant lights through the trees shining through to light it up. Scaring some of the wildlife with our torch trying to get the answers, we hurried and moved away to figure out the coords. Pinpointing go, we headed there and made a quick find after searching in the obvious places. Completing signing duties we replaced the cache. Lovely atmosphere here tonight. TFTC SueDan83!
Drove to Campbelltown and Narellan today to try and get a lot of caches in the area. I had not been there for a while since for some reason Campbelltown is my caching nemesis. Today only 2 DNF, so came home happy. A quick find here, nice little multiic

A great multi in this beautiful reserve. Great natural camo too! Thanks so much for placing this cache SueDan83
Parked at a familiar spot for a previously found mystery (instinctive check all ok there) and proceeded onto both waypoint and calculated GZ. Nice quick multi to add to today’s run which had me detouring via Mt Annan when a planned route to Camden was closed due to recent flooding. Even the water levels in the reserve’s ponds were still quite high around here.
#5162- I was barking crazy when thomo31 pulled this container out after I had just felt there. Multi's are my favourite cache type and this was a pretty place to stop and collect our info. A favourite from me. Thanks
Found with WaywardWoman while caching in the area today
Such a pretty location for a multi. Read the info and soon had coords and walked on to GZ. A search around and soon had cache in hand. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC

Found with geodog. A quick multi to solve while grabbing some puzzles in the area. I circled a few options before I found the old fella and then had a second look to get CIH. A nice reserve to go for a stroll. Dropped of 2 TBs. TFTC
Off to find clues... as there is a Mystery afoot!
Teamed up with Stumble's Mate for the day. It took us a few caches to decide our signing name was HUMS and boy did we "hums" putting a big dent in the caches around Camden. Thanks to all the CO's and thanks to Stumble's Mate for the wonderful company.
Nice multi... didn't take too long... easy to find numbers, crunch and then a short walk

The day started with an early morning event in Mittagong.
Happy Uke mentioned that she was heading up to Camden today to grab some caches and as I had no plans for the day, I asked if she would like some company.
So we headed off with Uke driving and me navigating targeting caches that would help us with the "Mystery at the Museum" event.
All up we found around 31 caches. All are signed "HUMS" as either HUSM or SMHU just didn't cut it.....LOL
Thanks to the CO's for putting these out and apologies for the generic logs.

Today Muppet95 and I set out to complete as much of the "Mystery at the Museum" challenge as possible, having earned the initial clue and souvenir at his event last night. Muppet95 had laid out a plan of attack centred on Camden, so he navigated while I drove the trusty GeoForester and we shared the finding duties. We had a couple of DNFs and, factoring in caches that one or the other of us had already found, we took a little longer than anticipated but both managed to get to the final stage of the challenge, collecting enough clues and jewels to earn the relevant souvenirs. All up a very pleasant and rewarding morning exploring the area.
A simple but informative multi in our little stroll around this reserve. Nice area here - TFTC!

The journey to the mega resulted in a lot of driving, with a few select cache finds, due to the distance I had to travel. If only there was time to find them all! Once at “The Gong” as there are so many caches, yet again, sadly, only some could be attempted. Walking around the reserve today I paused to learn some interesting facts. I then find a cache soon after. Thanks for placing the cache SueDan83
Better late than never! I searched for this recently and was surprised that I couldn’t find it when the coordinates were surely right and led to a thematically appropriate spot. A message to the CO confirmed it was my eyes not my maths that had failed me and a Found It from Hade made certain. So I headed back out after a late work night and what was invisible in daylight was glaringly incongruous by torchlight. Thanks for a nice walk SueDan83, twice!
#6184 (2 of 5 today)
Decided to head down Camden way today for some finds. I’d had a solved puzzle for a while, so thought I’d hit that and then target some multis as well.
In the end I made five finds out of six attempts. I’ll take that.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
What a pleasant walk through a small bit of bushland. Pity the lake has a red bloom across it.
Gathered the information required and calculated the coordinates for GZ. Just as I’m approaching it a couple appears and walks past me and into the bush... Hmmm.
But they’re well out of sight so I’m free to search. Checked the right spot first and missed it. Tried another spot nearby but nothing. So back to the first spot and made the nicely concealed hide.
Signed and replaced, then back to *The Hademobile*.

TB drop “Bailey” has been our constant caching Geo-dog. On the 14th we were FTF, and Bailey was with us. I had to carry him as his health had started to deteriorate over the last few months. On Wednesday morning the 17th of April, Bailey closed his eyes for the last time. As this was his last cache he visited, it should be his starting point as an unleashed TB.
Out for a little walk with the family to grab a couple of caches in the reserve. Another enjoyable cache, thanks suedan.
I was happy to get my first multi-cache after a quick puzzle solve.
Nice and local and a place I’ve been walking through now for close to thirty years!
Made the morning walk that little bit more interesting.

Thought we’d have a go at this one as a family. Congrats to Panda_Girl65 for the discovery. KnightJR and Gundrills were there as well. Thanks for another puzzle SueDan83
After a stop at an entry point along LK Drive, drove back to top end of Dewpoint Drive, and walked across road which was a more easy access. Eventually found a small track that led to major track. A short walk, found what I was looking for and onto GZ. A well hidden cache , used my gloves to feel around, with a nice hint. On exit used southern end of main track then a short cut back to starting point taking care to where I was treading. TFTC
Grabed this fun little multi while in the area. Enjoyed the pleasant stroll in the reserve and made short work of the calculations. We were soon ay GZ where we found the well hidden cache. Still early in the morning so the bird life was greeting us along the way.

What a nice simple little multi. Just what we needed today for a short outing with the geodogs to stretch our legs and get some fresh air. Lovely area- had no idea it was here. Learnt some things I never knew about trees and wildlife. The find was easy but not too easy- overlooked it at first. Thanks SueDan83, most enjoyable
FTF-14:20 - I know this area well as I enjoy walking the trails through here. My go-wife alerted me that there was a new cache nearby. We drove to a nearby access point and after a short walk we were at the information sign. Once we had the information and calculated the final location we headed off towards GZ. We quickly identify a likely hide and there was the cache with a blank logbook. We TNLN, but enjoyed the walk in this lovely local nature reserve, thanks.
