Day 3 of our 4 day anniversary road trip to Maryborough and out West. Lots of adventure to be had with my love SCAHPA. Log signed as CS & SC to save time and room - Trademark skeleton animals sticker left in cache - TFTC, effort time and maintenance
On a day out in Kilkivan, enjoyed the exploring to get to this cache. Signed the log. Thanks Sweet-Sour. All good with this cache.
Did the drive to near GZ then scrambled up the hill to sign the log. Thanks for the cache.
Left Home, Maryborough QLD. today heading for QOGM 22. With the added change of our new LC300 towing the caravan, only a short hop to test everything. No problems and arrived at Kilkivan free camp, setup and headed out for some caches around town. Grabbed a few but still plenty more here for our next visit.

A perfect winter day and with the BOM forecasting rain for spring and summer what better excuse was needed to head off for a cycling day chasing caches on some quiet country roads around Kilkivan. Thanks Sweet-Sour for the cache.
Last day for two TASSIES in and around Kilkivan. So we thought we would come into town to log caches for the last two days and have another little sortie not too far out. Got this one on the return journey from Pine St. All safe and sound and in good nick here, sweet-sour
I took great heed of the warning about loose gravel and managed to find my way in avoiding it all as I have experienced how dangerous it can be . Another great sized container was found at GZ and the log now carries my name. TFTC sweet-sour. TNLN
I went higher than i needed to here, and spotted the SPOR from above.
I also bluntly refuse to ever log the same words on a different cache.
Sorry for the generic log just doesn't cut it.
Put some effort in geople.
Thanks for taking me here?

Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds.
02/07/21 Staying in Free Camp sites with Caravan and seeing the sights and grabbing some caches. I am on holidays from Mackay. Sunny at the moment but rain still hanging around. Returned cache to its location all good. TFTC SL
After camping overnight in Kilkivan I headed out this morning along Mudlo Rd. Another great country drive with good containers and good coords, which always makes the experience nicer.
No problems finding the caches and once the logs were signed all were returned as found.
If a cache needed attention that was done too.
Thanks to the CO's for placing a great series in this area.

Time to get back down to business, hit the road & rack up some more smilies to spread warmth & happiness throughout the land.
Knocking up the numbers doesn't hurt either!
Kilkivan & surrounds were our target areas this run.
Day #2.
#5 of 55 smilies today.
Talked Mrs VC into tackling this one as the last two have left me unsure in my thongs (for once) with the loose, stony incline.
All good, quick find.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Tftc Sweet-Sour, great view of the dump, plenty of roos bounded off as we approached.
Another lovely drive in the countryside collecting caches. After a little scramble the cache was spotted, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Sweet-Sour for placing these caches and showing us this beautiful place.
Logged and Found as WallabyTim/KaleidoscopeCass or WallabyWanderers. Backing this up with our old account, Apologies if you receive multiple logs

In Kilkivan for the New Year event, a great opportunity to catch up with caching buddies and meet some new faces.
After setting up at the showgrounds and enjoying a morning full of caching, after a quick lunch break, we headed out again to keep finding newly published caches along with some tried and true oldies.
A great day spent out and about, enjoying the beautiful country side.
The cache was quickly spotted, log signed and all replaced as found.
Thanks Sweet-Sour for the cache.

After an early morning sunrise event it was a drive up to Kilkivan for a weekend event. This is my first event of this type so I am not sure what to expect but I’ve been told they are fun and educational, ok. Today’s kick off was 10am so this gave me a few hours to drive up and get a little caching in before the event started for me.
At the event I teamed up with Willis007 and Ms maddy (who drove) to spend the afternoon collecting a few caches and a few first to finds. Armed with a list and some new coordinates we set off for the afternoon of caching. We had a plan of attack in mind and it turned out to be a good afternoon of caching with a variety of cache sizes, hides and ratings; thank you to the CO’s for the placements of these. Sorry for the generic post for this lot but we did approximately 90 caches around the area.
There were no DNF’s and all caches were found in good order and in close proximity to the given coordinates and or hints. I enjoyed today's caching, thank you.

Here for my first ever event. Parked at the dump entrance and walked the rest of the way.
We are on a short trip only with our caravan. We love this area, and are happy that the sun is back.
Found this one, and saw a lot of wallabies.
A pity that we missed the event in July.

Out caching for the afternoon with RoddyC and Hatzoff on our first New Years Kilkivan event. Luckily we found an easier way down from this one! Thanks Sweet-Sour for the cache
Hatzofff has joined with me for some caching around the Kilkivan New Year Event.
With the Night Parrots to do a few along Mudlo Road after changing the flat tyre.
Quite a little walk, but I managed to get the Geo Falcon closer for the return trip.
Log signed and replaced on December 30, 2019 at 6:00 PM. TFTC, Sweet-Sour.

Visiting Kilkivan for the annual Cache-up event. Sweet-Sour kindly offered to chauffeur me around for the day. Who was I to refuse? Next, we came to this cache. My caching buddy had previously found this one, so I set out too search. The cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
A big day out around the Kilkivan area has been on the cards for a while to tidy up many of the smilies left behind after the last catch-up.
Co-ords were excellent and containers generally in great shape, making for a good day of searching. Just needed to look out for the occasional stubborn bovine . Looking forward to the next catch-up event.

Log signed at 08:32 and cache returned as found. Thanks for the smilie and bringing us here **Sweet-Sour**. This log is trackable, mention where you saw it.

We are on our way to Blackall QOGM, Kilkivan Day 3
This morning we went out to locate the closest caches to where we were camped. I think we left the more difficult once for last.
Thankyou for placing this cache Sweet-Sour

A return visit to Kilkivan to add some more smilies to our tally. Tried to reach this one from the other end but the road was gated, so managed to get to it from another road. TFTC Sweet-Sour
Today we headed to Mudlo National Park collecting caches on the way. Had a great day and found all 21 caches that we looked for.

TFTC. Day 3 of our caching trip away from our Bundaberg housesit. We shifted camp from Goomeri to Kilkivan where we are camped at Weir Oval. The route today was to go out on Muldo Road and then stop and relax, but that never happened we kept going . Had a great day 43 attempted and found. Thanks to the COs for helping us to enjoy the area. All caches were relatively quick finds.
Found while staying in the kilkivan area for about a week before heading for the big smoke down south. Having noticed that there was a lot of new caches placed in the area I set about converting some of them to smileys. This is of of the many I have found so far. All were easy find with no maintenance issues. TFTC
This was day one of our geocaching trip around Kilkivan. We love these country drives. All caches were in good condition and fairly easy finds. Thanks Sweet-Sour. We saw lots of Kangaroos there.
Whilst at the Kilkivan the opportunity was there to find 14 new hides. I also hid 18 for the event. I love driving in country areas and especially on country roads be they dirt or gravel. Come to QOGM 2019 in Blackall on the first weekend in October if you would like to drive on country remote roads. Arrived close to GZ and after a short walk soon had the cache in hand. All good here.
