That was a lot of fun. We see the last finders were another couple of Aussies we know too. I hope they had as much fun as we did. Thank you for the fun cache.
Out and about caching while travelling around South Island, from Australia. Found this cache and signed the log. TFTC
Today marks 6 years married to ThatDarnBear, and two of the older GeoKids volunteered to take UnicornLex on a Sister's Outing. So naturally, what do we do? We make a beeline out the door for an afternoon of Mad Caching !!Happy anniversary ThatDarnBear TFTC
GeoHubby (Slotheryn) and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary, and what better way to spend time together than go Geocaching. Springfield was our target today as there is a nice wee Letterbox cache for the Take a Stamp Thursday challenge, which I hope to sign at the Mega in Dunedin. We grabbed as many other caches as we could in the area, this being one.We let the GeoBears take the lead here. They tried on quite a few things, but the attached photo was their favourite. Thanks for the neat cache.
A great find this is what geocaching should be fun fun fun tftc.PS thats Sally by the way she is camera shy.
Mum checked this on the way to ChCh today. All good and it seems none of the inventory is missing this time
Love it! Super cool idea for a cache. Def worth a fave point from us. Thanks for putting in the effort.
Thank for little adventure, I also really enjoyed seeing the books, for extra entertainment or Swag replaced some swag myself & enjoyed the contents of this cache... T.F.T.C & room for SwagI wasn't too fussed on the pineapple, but looked stylish. The unicorn was cute... but I can never pass by a Dalmatian with fluffy green bits... However the giraffe desperately cried to come home
GeoJayne and I started our day in Springfield at the big donut for an event and then made our way to Christchurch. It was a short travel day compared to others, but we loved being back on the curvy roads. Well, I loved it. GeoJayne still doesn't like the way I drive on the opposite side of the road from home in the U.S. LOLGeoJayne made the grab for this one and was able to get back to the car before the rain started in earnest. Dropped a couple of TBs here. I am logging this cache 10 days later and someone has already snagged of the bugs to move along. Thank you for the smiley and the fun!
Love this! A brilliant cache for MisterAnthonys 800th, and a fun way to finish off our weekend! TFTC!
Just getting around to logging the caches I found while visiting New Zealand from the U.S. with LaFavorite Cacher. We had a great time traveling around the country seeing the sights and picking up some caches along the way.Thank you for being a part of our adventures!Note: LaFavorite Cacher has sent in the answers for any earthcaches or virtuals required for both of us.
Wow cool little spot, definitely worth all the favourites. We stayed at the campground and walked down. Little bit of blackberry so keep the kids on the track but a lovely spot TFTC

we were heading home but made the wee detour to check this one out. Good fun thanks for the laughs
This seemed like the perfect cache to finish our year on, and of course we had to add a photo with it too.We have had an amazing year with a lot of work and not so much play during 2023, but it has been so rewarding in ways we never imagined. So to get away for a few days over the New Year has been a real treat and to find so many caches on our travels has added to our enjoyment. Thank you gracie7 + Mum as our trip would not have been as great if it were not for you massive contribution to the world of geocaching. And a huge thank you for all the regular maintenance you do, especially owning so many caches. You are a role model for the rest of us.We wish you both a very Happy New Year and look forward to finding many more of your caches in the future
Lovely! Left a heart for the fun idea and Fred, the TB. Hope somebody takes good care of him.
This weekend I decided to attend a caravan rally in Springfield.Another caravaner (and cacher, SteveT10) and I drove to this cache from the caravan park.Cheers for the cache, gracie7 + Mum.
Love seeing something a bit different... and since the hair turned green yesterday, this fitted in fine! Thanks for a fun cache. Another FP from me.
Lucky last for the day and what a beaut to end on. M quickly found the cache, well you could hardly miss it. What a lot of good stuff. We all donned glasses and Beeba had a fancy fascinator on too. Such fun and definitely we give this a favourite point.
Found with ivss_xx and rich214.
We were heading back to chch and saw this high FP cache. We had to stop by and see what made it so special. Such a unique concept! It was a lot of fun. Wasn’t expecting that. Another quality g7+m cache. FO well deserved.
Unfortunately I didn’t spot the listed TB. Hope it hasn’t gone missing.

Quick trip to Springfield to collect before the sun goes down with Rayzr. Great cache.
When we visited here last time we were very disappointed that some of our accessories had been stolen. We had been accumulating a few items in the interim so we stopped to top it up. These are NOT SWAPS or FREEBIES! Dont ruin the fun for future cachers to come.
Cache was a quick find and I ended up chatting to a local who knew that it was there but didn’t know why so I explained geocaching. He helps maintain the track and said it would be nice if a cache was hidden further along the track so that it gets people walking on it. I left two TBs and four bookcrossing books

We had spotted a few other North Islanders make a personal 24hr find record so we took note of the general caches found and made a plan to try our luck, our previous best was 172, our aim was "more than Yeti", check out GC6PRMW once we have logged them all to see how we did...
Hard to spot the hint item with the head torch but soon found the cache, a pic was taken as Elton John made an appearance...
Mr Geckoh rarely refuses a photo opportunity

After caching between Christchurch and Springfield yesterday, today, I started caching in and around Springfield and then found a few more on my way back to Christchurch. Nice idea. Unfortunately I was caching with my non-camera GPS at this point so couldn't snap a selfie - that's my story and I'm sticking to it. TFTC, Biggles.
We detoured here after finding the Ad Lab final, not knowing what to expect. What fun! Thanks for bringing us here Gracie7 +mum
Great fun cache easy fav along with a new area to investigate many thanks Gracie7 + Mum appreciated your efforts here
Making my way to Springfield I had an idea what I might find here and I was right. Pic attached, sporting my 'bugger it, I'm balding, I might as well own it's haircut.

Definitely an easy find and a fun cache. Contents are all good. Thanks for the fun Gracie7+mum.
Nah, not my sort of thing. Rather strange to see it completely uncovered from about 10m away. I was surprised I hadn't seen it from the car. TFTC.
#20846. Had things gone according to plan, we'd have been doing a day trip south from Hokitika today. Unfortunately, yesterday Troodles tripped over a stone on the Mananui Tramline, and managed to break a wrist on one side and break the upper arm on the other side. We ended up spending over 7 hours at Grey Hospital, and got back to Hokitika about 9PM. This morning we packed up and headed for home, and had a good run back, with little traffic on the road. When we got to Springfield Troodles was OK to stop for a few caches (so long as she could sit in the car). We decided to play dress up here before moving on. TFTC.
We made the short detour from the main highway to look for this cache - or should I say that StreetWalker looked for it while I remained safely in the car. He brought back the container to the car so that I could be dared as well. Cool idea, thanks for making us smile and TFTC.
Forgot to log this one from a few weeks ago so the dates won’t match up in the logbook. If you’ve got kids or bikes (even better with both!) then venture slightly further into the forest away from the road and you’ll find a cool pump track. Follow the path further to find some cool wooden features and more tracks
On a Geotour trip for the week.
All GT caches found for the day. Now to get the numbers ticking over before checking in to the Springfield motel. Another quick find. TFTC

Magical area, use to bring American tourists along here to go to Rubicon Valley farm, hmmm won't be doing that for a while now thanks to Covid - found with Juju54 - TFTC
Was surprised to discover this was a piece of publicly accessible land. Would never have guessed.
Great place for a great cache Nice easy find on a great day out. this is such a lovely area and make a great drive. TFTH
Great idea! And although I'm not a selfie person, I decided to make an exception in this case. TFTC
Enjoyed a day out caching around Springfield. The cache was a quick find and we tried a couple of items on for size! TFTC.
We did, we dared to do it,!! photo from Coconuts3 next log. Also happy to sign a log! nice and big. TFTH

Down in Christchurch with the Squirrel, ABCDF4 and eyespyben. During Covid lockdown, we solved a load of puzzles and decided that this would be a good time to visit. We've enjoyed a few days of good weather and seeing the Canterbury countryside. The caches have been in varying states - some good, some not so much. Our time here has been a blast, and we'd like to thank all COs who have made this adventure possible. Thank you and TFTC.
After puzzle solving in the Canterbury region along with EyeSpyBen we were invited to join Fap (from Fap & Gap) and Squirrel Nutcase to a week long caching adventure in the Canterbury area. With flights and accommodation booked were off, all met up in ChCh. and many hard dusty Kms travelled and many caches found, I think the Squirrel has said it all in his brief. Many thanks for the placements and Cos for bringin us to the very pleasant areas we travelled in to your region
