Found by Mary and David at 15:00. had just done a maintenance check on our cache on Mt Leura, and this cache was not far away. The sun is shining, the sky is blue, and our Monday jobs were all done. Definitely a FP, and we wished that we had brought our youngest grandchild aged 6. Cache contents all snug and dry. Our thanks to AlexiKatty.

We are staying at Lake Purumbeet for a few days after spending Christmas at Wurdiboluc. Then on to Beaufort for an event.

Time to head back to the lake but we took the long route home to go around the lake. This one took longer than it should have given its size and we have left a couple of trackables we have had throughput Covid. Time to move them along.

Thanks for the cache AlexiKatty

On my way to Portland to see the new Morris residence, and I left a bit early to collect a few caches along the way.
Started off windy and raining, but improved as the day wore on.
Began caching in Camperdown, continued in Colac, and finished off on the C-T Rail Trail.
The deadly treadly got a bit more of a workout today.

The grass was very long walking to this cache, luckily it wasn't far.
A nicely assembled cache, and a great size.
Thanks, Robmc.

Find #4655. Found @ 13:56 with The Good Lady Wife

We're on a family getaway for the long weekend to Lake Purrumbeet and the surrounding areas. The plan is to grab some convenient caches while tootling around the place.

We drove down to the lake to see what we could see, and while there I noticed that this cache was close. TGLW and I trudged up from the car park and TGLW spotted the hide after a few minutes of looking around the posted coordinates, Nice job on the decoration of the hide.

Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache AlexiKatty

Suscoe wandered out this way this afternoon.
All quiet as it was a bit windy for fisherfolk on the lake.
A lovely surprise awaited Suscoe here and we were delighted to find this cache.
Certainly requires a favourite point for a wonderful effort.
Well done to AlexiKatty for this hide.
Thanks.

I had my blindfold on for this one as it took me way too long walking around in circles about 10 metres away where my indicated GZ was before I twigged and did a forehead slap.
Thanks AlexiKatty

Another amazing day in Victoria's south west - 7am-7pm, Trads, Multii's, Puzzles and of course the "4 Months to the BIG one in St Arnaud" Event in Camperdown, where we were reunited with friends of long standing and met a number of folk, happily matching a pseudonym to the real people.

Another Gem! Just like the Fairy Garden, what great way of keeping the kids interested in the game. Well deserving of a FP awarded today.

Satellites today had our GZ 11 metres south west of where we found the cache.

Thanks to 'AlexiKatty' for adding this cache to our gameboard.

I found that this cache was quite challenging for a couple of reasons, both of my own making. Firstly, I parked the geo-mobile in the wrong place and then secondly, after several minutes of pushing my way through the wet and rugged undergrowth, I found that I had left my writing stick back at the car. It took me awhile to get back to the car as I headed the wrong way and ended up on a completely different road. Finally located the car, signed the log, drove to a better parking spot and returned the log book very quickly.
A favourite point from me due to the different way that I was able to locate the cache and the time and effort that went into making it.

Driving around Lake Bullen Merri we wondered where this cache was going to take us as we had never ventured this side. So we were surprised to see the well set up reserve here.
We walked up to GZ from the carpark in search of easter time. Once we widen our search perimeter the awesome hide was spotted, hahaha, how did we miss that? Another great themed cache that a lot of effort has gone into, have another fav point.
Cheers for the cache AlexiKitty. [^]

When your a geocacher you never know where you may end up or who you may meet along the way.
Up a little late this morning, had breakfast and then looked at the incoming emails and messages on the phone.
Oh au.fait was going to Cressy and would like a lift as I had indicated late that I was going but she had already passed my home but she returned back while I was under the shower and then we headed off to Cressy in the White Beast as we were not sure of some of the roads that I had indicated that I would be driving on and after the rainy day yesterday we knew that some would be muddy.
It was great to team up again with good company and a navigator to boot.
We could not go past this cache without a look so a wander through the wet grass to find another large cache with a very good theme. parking close is a bit hazardous on the narrow road.
Thanks AlexiKatty for placing.

Teamed up with the ever helpful Bushfire for another day in his delightful company, and a very impressive list of caches to hopefully find. These were bookended by 2 events, the first a happy group at the Cressy rotunda and ending a long and successful day with dinner in Colac, and not so strangely many of the folks at the morning event were also to be found at dinner. A fun cache that resulted in rather wet feet after walking through the wet undergrowth TFTC AlexiKatty

A lot of work went into creating this cache. Well done. Definitely not camoflaged. Had to widen search area. Tftc

02-May-19
After parking the car it was a short walk to GZ. When the cache was not located there, we gradually widened the search area and with a combination of the size and colour of the container, a quick find was made even though our GPS indicated that we were about 14m from GZ. This is a great cache and certainly was in the theme of the cache name. It earns a favourite from us for the novel creation and the excellent presentation. Thanks AlexiKitty for the cache.

After doing maintenance on our caches we stopped by here to find this new one.
Picked up some bottles and cans one our walk back out from the cache to the car. It astounds me how much rubbish is dumped along the road in and out of the lake reserve.
Thanks for making and placing this cache. Significant effort has gone into this and the fairy cache. A favorite from us.

Awww what a sweet cache. Nice easy find with nothing to do but plaster a smile on my face when opening the cache. The family appear bright and perky. Love the pink and shiny logbook! TFTC and the obvious fun you had along the way.

Made the journey to Camperdown with BFMC in the hope of a first to find, but we were to slow.
We looked around and didn't spot the obvious until lifting ours head up away from the ground. A well decorated cache especially for the up coming Easter Break.
Log signed and replaced as found

Thanks for the cache AlexiKatty

FTF!!!! When the email came through for this, there was no hesitation. With hubby at work, it was up to the geo son and I to make the journey. Once we got to a safe place to pull over, we loaded our phones and we were off. Me heading one way, and Riley heading the other. Both our phones were leading us around in circles. Then...I looked up and saw something...WOW, that is so cool!!! We signed the clean log sheet and admired the work that's gone into this cache. Awarding a fav point!!! TFTC AlexiKatty

Spotted this one on the map not long after it was published. Threw the option out to Ausfox; and after we assessed our chances as fair to average we decided to go anyway, with our fingers crossed that h_3 was preoccupied. Miss 7 is on school hols and was happy to have lunch and watch a movie in the backseat on the way down. Upon arrival at GZ we set about searching. Initially we both settled 6-7m away but after putting the devices aside we soon spotted the sizeable cache. Miss 7 did the honours and was suitably delighted with its contents. Sadly, the grown-ups werent quite so excited with the logbook, but thats the game. Sometimes you win, sometimes you dont. I had a maintenance task to do down this way anyway and picked up a couple of numbers for the Vic Sudoku. Thanks for a great placement, well deserved FP awarded.
