Crafty cache. Gps was off though, around 10-20m further away from the road than was suggested
Found it thankfully looked at activity gps was all over the show. Cleaned up some rubbish
Thou go t it was time I found the cache named after me. Youd never think I helped place it with the amount of time Id took to find it! The gps is all over the place in the trees. We had two - one said we were 17m away the other said 14m away. Cache was found lying out in the open but has been replaced where I think I remember it being placed - about 1m away from where I found it. Didnt have a pen but took a photo.
All prepped for a lengthy walk and ready to go, a tour bus delivered a large group of school kids for a day out in the area. We aborted our plans and spend our day elsewhere finding the odd cache when passing. TFTC
Having a lazier day after being stymied when a bus load of students arrived at our chosen walk today so we changed our minds about doing it.
Other options were chosen and this was one of them.
Thank you for placing this cache.

We circled around a bit before noticing the co ords recommended by the previous finder, and then it was a fairly quick find.
Thanks for putting this nicely camo'd cache here

The log and plastic bag is missing, although the cache is still there. Will get one of the Doolittles to remedy this soon. Thanks.
Cache 471 well I took my and luckily came away with no collisions lol and luckily I bet the rain PHEW this cache took quite a while to locate as I had absolutely no signal, luckily the dogs were happily exploring while I was wandering around lost and frustrated but I saw one of the woofers sniffing something that looked a little odd sure enough it was the cache. There is hope yet to train them to sniff out caches lol cache is in good shape T4TC ️
I had no data and my battery was getting dangerously close to being expired so had a quick look to no avail
Thanks Pumpkin Guy for some more accurate cords. I would never have tracked this one down without them. TRY S46 28.191 E..546. Cheers.
Friday 30 October. Its exploring Sandy Point again today.
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

This took a while to find, GPS was all over the show, spotted something by pure luck and finally found even though my phone said it was still 19m away, tftc

This is the 3rd time I have been to look for this cache. Thank goodness some others have put up some corrected co ordinates as the original co rds take you to an area where someone has disgustingly fly tipped.
Nice idea for a cache TFTC

Lost count of the number of times I have searched for this. Finally found about 25m from my gz.
Took some of the trash away. If we all took a bit would look better. In the small sporty MG so not a lot of room.

Picked up this cache tonight under the cover of darkness and with torch in hand. Followed the co-ords left on the other recent logs and soon had this cache in hand. Pen was in it's final stages of life as we signed the log, hopefully it lasts for some other finds tonight..... TFTC [^]
Was out here looking... or should I say trying to look by torch last Monday night. Afterwards looked at others posts about cords being off. Looked at one of the logged photos and googled mapped it. So the plan developed that this would be third for this afternoon. Yep I am getting soaked by the downpour and after the rover trail and daff loop New one raced through the familiar roads going through any puddles getting water all over the mighty red racer... stop exit for the search away from the rubbish. Did not use device. After a little wonder got to right tree and there was a something that could be hiding stuff. Signed log. Now out to the end of road.

Out for a day tracking down gems for the Mystery at the Museum.
6th cache, 2nd diamond Topaz for the day.
Mrs and Mrs had come to my rescue at end of theine and offered to help me find this one. Thanks to their help it was a quick find as my GPS had me about 20m from the posted coords.
Had a similar interesting event while finding Lone pole in Blenheim. I was t-shirt less having used it as padding for my mils gadhed leg, waiti g for the Ambo which had been sent to a park on the other side of town despite me gaining clear instructions and GPS coords to despatch!
Thanks for the smilie CatseyesNZ TheDoolittlesNZ.

Babysat my brother's kids overnight... geocaching was a great way to kill time the next morning. Took a few minutes to locate, tried suggested coords, but still off. Van, aged 9, found something different, and he called himself a genius. Must take after his uncle!!!
Took the niece and nephew out this morning to find a couple of our old favorites and this one we didn't yet have. Initially looked in the wrong place, but nephew quickly discovered soon after. Nice one.
Hmm after DNFing it last week, we returned with a friend to find in the rain tonight. Cache is not at the posted co-ords, but about 15-20m away. We, along with our friend, got S 046° 28.197' E 168° 15.559' as co-ords. Nice wee camo job on container. TFTC
No luck for me, lots of bases around and didnt realise til now when I'm logging it that it was probably some cool camo that I might have just not realised was the cache. Oh well...
Had a bit of time off today so a walk was in order. Luckily was not in a hurry as the little cache took some searching away from where the arrow stopped spinning. Ok one last tree. SL TFTC
*Winter time dots are thin on the ground for May and June soon to be rectified with some newly published caches turning dozens of dates from one singular shade of green to a multiple darker green on the 'finds' tableau. After the latest challenge gobbled up all the available dots for a 100mi, a brief respite of no more dots left was short lived as old (and new) areas were occupied with new caches.* Luved the camo of this cache. I have struck a few like these but while one homemade one wasn't so waterproof (actually the store brought ones leak like a fish too) this one was *mucho* realistic it took two looks before I realized it was the cache! I had in hand, twice! Mind you having spent some time at the co'ods looking for a small box it was only on passing that one last place before leaving as it started to rain again that prior FTF'r logs brought to mind it wasn't just my poor searching skills but everyone else's too. Provided the twice bagged micro logslip is respected, the little hole in the top of the cache shouldn't leak too much but given the environment the cache is in, it has some protection from the prevailing weather. No room for swag or 'small' TB makes this a micro but most of these hides are listed as smalls anyway. TheDoolittlesNZ have switched personas back and forth through the years. Since I first started caching - they'd switch betwixt TheLittlesNZ or TheLittleBothafamily, which latter title they would sign their cache finds so I would get to see their names in a few lonely caches out at the Point. Should you had ever tried for [Morrison](https://coord.info/GC6B46J), it's been archived as an abandoned GZ while checking it on way back to the carpark; thereby freeing up some more of the MTB tracks that haven't had trees harvested from. A few finders have missed coming back to sign on the logslip. Thanks for grabbing a slice of Christies Track for your new cache you two.
With downsouthinv,Abbykitt and barkingbonkers.
Took a while to search this one out. Plenty of bases to look at!
But eventually the call went up!
Thanks for the hide

2tf with Wombat1234. After having no luck on another cache we took a break and headed out to our favourite area in the hope of a FTF but got beaten by 6 mins. Well done Kiscardi. Wombat gave a bit more info regarding the events leading to the cache placement. Got the cache quickly and signed log and returned it to its hide. Thanks for the placement.
I have heard that story/ pretty scary event. Just a little disappointed after an unfruitful search for another just published (with Granville) but happy to get the joint 2TF and congrats to Kiscardi.. now back to have a 2nd look at the other! tftc
FTF - yah haven’t had one for awhile
Took awhile - there is a lot of Bases in the proximity of GZ
TFTC - nice and close for a quick dash - but not until I finished my lunch
Just re hiding and a couple of friendly faces arrived - just a little disappointed to be beaten.
