Logs
I found this one open on the ground washed out. I managed to find all the pieces and replace the cache where I thought it should be. All the contents are OK, although the log book is a bit dirty.
This was another quick find after collecting a few caches today along the river road. We only went as far as Talgarno so we will have to go out again to collect some more of the Border Loop series.
I was in the north-east to spend a few days in the Snowy high country with the MX-5 Club... starting tomorrow morning in Beechworth... so I had driven up from Melbourne today for an easy start in the morning... and to find enough caches in the Towong Shire to be able to cross that LGA off for the **WCW - The 80/20 Rule Challenge**... something the beginning of the **Border Loop** series was perfect for.At this point I will apologise that my logs are going to get rather repetitive... most caches were easy to find and were in good condition. Thanks to **Thewins5** for this cache... and the series.
It's been great walking around catching the smiled and just taking the quiet in
Cache all good

The JAMS team (JJ52 allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) were on a road trip heading to the Rutherglen Mega event (staying in Corowa) for 3 days then winding our way home via Albury, Wangaratta, Bendigo and various other places in between. It was a great week with many more caches found than we expected. There were targeted caches, challenge caches, Ad Labs, events and various others to fulfill various statistics for the four of us. We were lucky with the weather, it rained a bit on our way over on Friday, then half a day after we left Wangaratta but on the whole it was great caching weather. We did drive a few slippery muddy roads, but nothing too bad. We also caught up with lots of people either at events or out in the field and enjoyed many great chats. All in all a fun time with lots of Victoria explored and then very tired when I arrived home. [^]
We had left our accommodation and had headed out of Rutherglen, on a round about route to our overnight accommodation in Wangaratta stopping for a few caches along the way and another LGA that we all needed.
We came over here for a new LGA and had a nice drive along River Road finding a number of caches. A very pretty area.
Thanks for the cache Thewins5.

This is mogni's 2nd to last Vic LGA. We drove down the road to we had 20 caches in this LGA for that challenge cache then keep going on our trip. quick find.
Found with JAMS (( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, plus sir_spectre ) Mitchell&hound wasn't with us this trip) crew. All logs stamped as JAMS to save log space. This trip we are off to the Rutherglen Mega and then slowly coming back to S.A. for a total of 8 dys and 7 nights. The targets of this trip are for JJ52 to get 11 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and a few more Victorian LGA's, Allister W was targeting 17 virtuals ( or as many as he could get ) a few more Victorian LGA's Mogni to make the Rutherglen Mega her 20, 000 find and also for her to complete all Victoria LGA's, sir_spectre needs 1 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and get his Victoria LGS's down to 2 LGA's left. We got 20 or more finds in a LGA if we stayed in there over night. We also detoured to stamp any challenge caches that we were " in the general area off " and to complete that challenge before we came back to S.A. This meant that some times dirt road (s) had to be walked down because they were to wet to drive down and/or haven't been repaired since last years flooding. We started off the holiday in the rain and then that cleared up only to start raining and a overnight thunder storm but most of the trip was dry. Over 600 caches found for the trip including over 120 lab stages in that total. Got to complete the GPS Maze at the Rutherglen Mega for a 2nd time. Allister w was the team driver for all of the Victorian part of the trip. I think this was the first trip ever to Victoria that the extension pole didn't get used but the 6.2 meter ladder did get a work out.

The JAMS (JJ52, allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) go mega... We came, we cached, we laughed, we hugged and we had a great time. All caches were replaced better than found.
Thanks to Thewins5 from mogni

Rutherglen Mega Road Trip
Day Three: Around Albury and Rutherglen
Weather: All over the place
One of ten caches found “over the bridge” and along the Border Loop today on a special side trip from Albury to claim Towong, my last Victorian LGA. It felt like I was on an island! A super experience for the short distance I covered this morning, I’d be keen to come back and do some more. I appreciate that care has been taken to put the caches near safe pull out spots, as the Easter traffic today may not be heavy, but it sure is fast.
Easy find, but I had to dodge traffic.
Great work, thanks so much for the cache and the series Thewins5.
It’s officially a mega!

On our way to Jarvis Creek Reserve and surrounds today to complete a few caches, a cloudy day with some patches of sun coming through.
I love a country lane. And this one very nice with the creek flowing though it. Log signed and off we continued.

TFTC. We are stuck in Albury for a few days while waiting for part for our Motorhome. so many decisions as to which way to cache. We tossed a coin and decided to make a start on the Border Loop series. We went out as far as Tarrangatta creek. A lovely trail and great views everywhere.

We thought this one was going to be lost with the recent flood due to the grass debris all over the guard rail. However the cache was in tact and in good shape ready and waiting for the next finders.
Thanks Thewins5 for the placement.

Out caching with JOELISA on this fine December day, enjoying what we find on the border loop series. Simple find, Thankyou!
11:20am
Out and about with H-Bomb, Stevo5 and Haveanez for a caching day, this this first to turn into a smiley.
Have been here before but wasn’t keen to stop in such an odd spot out in the open for all the world to see for no apparent reason. I tend to find that attracts attention from the locals who want to know what’s going on.
Today the grass was long, cows in the paddock and a small group to quickly locate the cache. A few webs shifted aside and the log was signed so we could be on our way again.
TNLN , TFTC , Cheers.

Found out and about on a day trip with DazRascal, Stevo5 & HBomb. Cache was spotted quickly by Mrs H but was covered in spiderwebs so Daz was sent for the retrieval! Under the watchful eye of a big black cow in the paddock, a quick sign and off we went to the next. Cheers.
Great to have a find after a DNF. Thank you for placing the cache for us to find.
Its nice to see such lush green grass around here at the moment, and the creek was also babbling along quite nicely...not a bad spot really...
So dad soaked up the nice quiet surrounds in ninja mode so as not to attract any bovine attention, or that of the walker up on the top road, and with the cache found and signed, it was off in a small cloud of dust.....something that the big soccer mum car can do on a bitumen road....i should wash it more often.....

When the fog finally burnt off, we went on a short trip thru Albury to part of the BL series with BettyBoo3747.
Collected a few Animal Climbers (Adventure Lab caches), a few other trads, and a long solved mystery.
The only prying eyes around today were black and all had four legs each!
I suspect they have all seen it before.
Thanks, Robmc.

#17344. Another beautiful early winters day so Robmc and I headed back to the border, firstly for shopping and then caching. We collected 3 more of the Animal Climbers Adventure Lab, a lot of the Border Loop and a few others along the way. A good day out and about amongst the fresh air and green scenery.
Decided to do this little loop before heading back to Bethanga, Bellbridge and beyond. A nice little road and bridge and an quick find and sign for us and we continued on.
Thanks Thewins5

Below is a blurb about us
We are trying to get a badge ,the author ,from project GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to get badges for adding photos to our found logs .
We started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full-time, living in a caravan, caching fits in well with this lifestyle. It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone. When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there in order to get the caches we want.
Trackables that we have with us today are:
Son of red
Rhodes travel Tong
Stanley the bushman
Where are my keys
Ducincs Viking ship
Miss Jenn lackey tag 11
TB challenge worldwide traveller
Scrabble tile
Kevin the trainee drop bear
3 million geocaches tag

We had a spare Sunday afternoon before Christmas mayhem and set off to find some caches. Nice spot here that we didn't know about before. Thank you for the cache.
Last time we were along here, the resident farmers were feeding their cattle right near GZ, so we continued on to the Cemetery. Today we only had the curious cattle to watch us SL at 3.11pm #6735 TFTC Thewins5 - that’s all we have time and energy for today - so home we go.
#3801 Unlike the previous cache around the corner, the cows didn’t run away from us here . Mrs BGF did the honours here, well it was hidden on her side of the car! TFTC Thewins5.
Suscoe decided to have a big day out today with a trip to Corryong and back to Albury. Over 300 kms of travel on a glorious day. it got to 27 degrees as we wandered the roads of this area.
We were able to glimpse the Alps twice and there was still quite a bit of snow up there, it looked beautiful with the sun shining on the snow.
This part of the country is looking splendid at the moment with green everywhere we looked.
Thanks to Thewins5 for this hide, the creek wasn't running today.

Based on previous experience, this was pretty easy. But thanks for bringing us through this lovely rural area Thewins5.

Ozreg passes me the cache to sign and a spider jumps out on my hand. I hope that means good luck
Found at 4.00pm, A quiet country rd, a lovely sunny day. Perfect for touring and geocaching.
It might seem green but the creek had a low flow. Hope they get good spring rains. Thanks K&M

Disappointment here as we tried twice to locate the cache, but each time there were farmers in the paddock right beside the bridge feeding their stock. Rather than draw attention to the cache site we decided to leave this one for another visit to explore the Talgarno area. we didn’t realise Talgarno had so many points of interest!
My friend lapun wanted to take his new vehicle for a drive, so we crossed the Bethanga bridge and grab a few caches. Thanks for their placement.
Quick grab in the rain. No muggles about so was able to PnG in the slippery mud! Tftc Thewins5. Retrieved a ruby here!
Moved on from the cemetery further down the road to have a look for this cache.
Not much water in the creek here at present, but I'm sure it has its peak times and really gets going.
All quiet around GZ and after having seen a single vehicle pass by me earlier on this stretch I made my way hastily to the hide.
SL at 11.30am. Hide in good condition.
Really enjoying the Border Loop Series. Out here in this area is the perfect place to cache. TFTC Thewins5.

Wasn’t paying attention and drove past gz so just parked down the road a little. Found quickly
A morning caching with Jorgo_crew. Rather than sitting in a coffee shop catching up we opted to take away our coffees and catch up whilst caching.
Our aim today was to hopefully get the Jorgo_crew their first ftf.. but alas we were to slow..
With rain clouds getting closer and darker we were glad that this was a quick find.
Thanks thewins5 looking forward to the rest of the series

The bananas are not very good at this game. Sometimes the owners can help us.
The bananas are not real smart. Sometimes the owners can help.
All the stars had aligned here.
Just get close and the prize was just waiting for us.
So thank you to the owners.
So often the treasures sought are massively difficult to find on the roads less travelled. Here not one car passed us in our attempt to find these treasures. Plenty of wildlife of birds, possums, wombats and kangaroos with no one else. Had it all to ourselves.
A nice easy ride on the road less travelled.
