Logs
Excellent hide but log is soaking wet and we had no pen so hoping the photo will do TFTC
Found on day one of my Townsville trip. I could certainly feel the warmer climate up here, but some of the views around town are phenomenal, the water is really clear in parts!Maybe I was lucky to find it as quickly as I did, but a cool cache either way! Thanks for the fun!
Coming from the ferry there was a little bit time left to explore the park. Found it easily. Thnx!
Thanks for my first find! Really fun quick and easy but not expected thanks again
First Townsville cache. We're here for a week and our boat is at the marina while we are away for a bit. Cool hide. Could be tough for a beginner but we spotted it right away.
I have no idea how the log goes missing in this one but its not the first time. Added a new one. Happy hunting.
Brilliant! Found in about 5 secs but only by reading past logs & expecting some out of the box thinking by burgo - and he didnt disappoint. My favourite type of caching - FP!! Thanks for the fun & TFTC!0
What a cache! I absolutely love burgo78s hides. Theyre so fun and creative! Tftc.
Sneaky sneaky! Took a minute but power of observation helped us in the end. *The generic bit for this trip*We are on now on our way south after heading north for warmer weather. From Cooktown back to Notth East Victoria, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.
Out and about today exploring Townsville with Grannan55 and Geodogs. What a beautiful park. Lest we forget. Thank you to our defence personnel for serving our wonderful country. Thank you for placing this cache here for me to find. All good here. Now, onto the next one for the day. TFTC
I checked on this one after the recent DNF's and have now replaced it.Happy hunting.
A quick park and grab. Had my eyes on this one for a while, but there have always been to many people around but today it is mine
Visiting from Nova Scotia, Canada, cruising on HAL. Am enjoying Townsville, walking around town and The Strand. TFTC
Sneaky but found very quickly. Found with spakkles a few hours before he plays a gig
On a quick week in Townsville to see the grandkids, JSando and I carved out an hour to cache. A lovely quick find here. TFTC
I wasnt sure if I should mess with the structure cause I was afraid Ill break something. Maybe next time pop a little geocaching logo on the thing so the cachers know theyre not breaking any law haha. Thank you!
Found 10:45 5/8/2023. After attending the talisman Sabre display. A very cool container. Thank you burgo78 for the cache and bringing me to this location.
Apologies for the late log here (07.01.24) but I've had a busy time since getting back to the UK.Last one in Townsville for me, I think, as I was close to getting back to my hired car and hitting the road. It'd been a blast. Thanks for making this a 'no drama' cache, even for finding on a busy day.TNLN-TFTC!SP (UK) on an epic trek right around the world.
On our way back to the marina after our tour guide sister dropped us off opposite ANZAC park, I managed to veer our path past this gz. Having a quick look around and noticing the hint and difficulty, something seemed promising so headed toward it.
Sure enough it was as I thought & the cache was soon revealed. Clever craftiness!
Certainly a very picturesque park and surrounding location. Very handy to our home at the marina for the week.

Surprisingly quiet here today, which was nice, and I could search at leisure. Soon spotted the prize, and prised it open to sign, replaced as found.
We Will Remember Them.
A Saturday off before some more tasks tomorrow so keen to make the most of it. Got dropped off at 0900 at Jezzine Barracks and wandered up and down (and under!) The Strand and covered just over 18kms on foot before investing in a taxi back 'home'. A productive day, though not massive numbers, and a few Ad Lab stages, but enough to keep ticking over and seeing more of Townsville's charms. Thanks to all COs for their efforts.

Very good hide, was about to walk away, when I read one more log and thought that must hint at one of these… ta da (fav from me, it would have taken some work to sneak the cache into place)
Thanks for the cache and new log.
Thanks for the cache and new log.

We are on our long-awaited journey around the world in 99 days. Second try after canceling in 2020.
Our fourth stop after Los Angeles, Hawaii and New Zealand is Australia.
This time was of course used to find some geocaches here.
Today we were searching for the Traditional **Anzac Park & Grab**
Thank to the Hint and the good coordinates the little box was found quickly!
After signing the logbook there is a new smile on our geocaching map!
At least we would like to take this opportunity to thank burgo78 for creating and maintaining this Traditional.
Greetings from Nuermberg/Germany

P.S. To save space in the logbooks, we not only enter in sequence, but also in empty spaces between.

I take my journey through the wolrd and of my free time to geocaching.
In road trip fashion, I travel many beautiful country to discover where rediscover full of places. Landscapes breathtaking, history, architecture, gastronomy.
The days are not alike.
I meet really welcoming and friendly people.
If I could have as many found-it that kilometer counter, I would be really delighted.
I seek and I find all kinds of caches on the way to my wanderings.
Of all sizes, of all the quotes and types. With success, reflection, difficulties. Anything that makes the GC is really a separate activity. And that for me is an important part in my life.
Thank you to all the owners for their research, the work they do, maintenance

This was a great cache that did not disappoint. After signing the log I had to wait for some muggles to move on. I then replaced it as found. I have awarded a FP due to the creativity of the cache. Thanks for placing and maintaining another great hide Burgo78
Found quickly
Together with my favorite geocacher Milonguera we traveled to Australia We went to Melbourne via Singapore and from there we explore the south, the center and the east coast.
We walked around Melbourne and had a nice meet & greet event. Than we visited Philip Island with the pinguins and the Great Ocean Road. We fed and petted kangaroos visited the koalas and continued north via Coober Pedy to Alice Springs. We hiked around the impressive Uluru and through the beautiful Kata Tjuta and breathtaking Kings Canyon. The gorges of the Macdonell-Ranges are nice to. We traveled north and than east to Townsville.
**Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for showing the location and for hiding the cache. You should come to Berlin in Germany to find a lot of interesting geocaches, visit lost places in the surrounding Brandenburg and meet nice people at many events.
I wish you a lot of fun and great adventures while searching for the next geocache!**
Thanks for the cache!

Found plenty of Labs whilst holidaying in Townsville, but had to get at least 1 physical cache too! TFTC
Whilst on holiday in Townsville we had to make sure we got at least 1 cache! Clever hide

TFTC! The whole family really enjoys this park so it was great to find a cache here (once we realised there was one here).
Found this one on a caching outing in Townsville, Mr Searchwise015 enjoyed the Dr Who reference. TFTC SL
A clever little hide in a peaceful little park, presumably a lot more peaceful that the last moments of many of these people inscribed in stone nearby. The Remembrance day setup is in place ready for tomorrow with a guard circling around but I’ve manage to avoid being spotted by him.
I wonder how many bisons this ate. Certainly has plenty of foot traffic and a good half century of Favourite Points. Cache found, signed and reset. Nicely done
I would have been my Aunts birthday tomorrow. Maybe I’ll pop into an RSL as Megs often did for a meal as her Mum served in WW2. I went to get a photo of the eternal flame but once again the phone died in the arse during one of these write ups. Instead I think I’ll take a photo of a bit of stencil art and maybe share what is likely a munzee code. What a scourge.

Out on a maintenance run with burgo so this was quickly discovered.
Very nice job.

On a maintenance run and checked this one. No ants today but the co Rainer wasn’t in its correct position. It has now been reset as intended.
Happy hunting.
