This was a fantastic location with the two scuba cave diving sites, hidden in the pine forest, that I enjoyed bringing others.
However, it sounds like this cache has been missing for some time and since I no longer live in South Australia and am a frequent visitor to the area, I've decided to let this one go.
Thanks all to those who have visited in the past.

After the Rutherglen mega, fitzy_1965, albida33, minniek, Smittengranny and myself headed to the Mount Gambier / Millicent region to tackle some of the caches from the Millicent mega that we couldn't get to.
Hike over from the where we parked, but alas it was a no go for us. Look high and then higher, but it wasn't to be.
Thanks anyway Davidwazza.....

Southern Autumn adventure Day 11. Post Mega South East SA trip Day 5. Today was the last day with our team all together Fitzy_1965, Albida33, MinnieK, Sole de Lune & Smitten Granny and logs were signed as FAMSS or similar. We went to the south of Millicent to target some high D/T caches and some interesting clusters of caches on forests. After a wet few days, the weather was much better and we had a great time. We ended the day with a meal together in one of the Millicent Hotels and a cache just outside the door of the pub.
This was a wonderful location, A pity it has not survived. The water in the cache mouth looked so fantastically blue !
Thanks.

Came here last time without a ladder and could see but not retrieve. Came today with a ladder but could not see. Genuinely believe it is no longer here.
We had multiple ToTTs on board. So we went and looked at what might be required first. I did consider the climb - but some of those footholds looked too small for me. So out with the ToTT.
Thanks for the cache Davidwazza.

The great Geoventure 2020 tour....take 2...which is of course now in 2021 Once again it myself and AnyMules doing things that not many sane people would attempt. [:o)]
Day 10: Woo Hoo another sunny day so it was off into the forests following the unfound boxes. Some rather fantastic locations hidden away in them there forests
* If anything was particularly interesting then there will be a comment
Here.. We went for a look and soon spotted the cache. Back to the car to get the correct TOTT and the cache was soon in hand, stamped and back again. Great spot to visit. FP from me
otherwise we found all the caches we looked for and they were in good condition.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks Davidwazza for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

We had a mixed bag today while caching with ilook4geo. We did find all that we looked for, but the caching activity was slowed down quite a lot by the rain that happened. It was an interesting time which involved cave exploring as well as plenty of walking through wet bush.
We walked carefully on the rather slippery boardwalk and spotted the container which was retrieved with the TOTT we had with us. The log was signed and all was returned to place, which was a process that took a bit of time.
The water in the cave was very clear and perfectly still.
Thanks go to Davidwazza for placing this cache which was fun to find.

On the hunt today with goingplaces2 and enjoyed all the caches we found. There was a good variety of hides and containers. All logs were signed and each was returned to its proper place. TFTC.
Another great caching location. The ladder we had was no help here. Another TOTT was used to retrieve the cache. TFTC
A great spot for a walk (and dive if you can).. AstroTom told me he loves diving this one. A nice passage stepping down to an area at the bottom.
We deployed the TOTT yet again and quickly found the cache log sheet in our hands.
Thanks to Davidwazza and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
Wow what an amazing hidden wonder... I drove in along the track which was a little muddy and we slipped and slid a few times even going 5-10km/hr.....glad I was driving the Defender not the XR6 lol...... the cache was spotted quickly after taking it slowly down the steps and along the walkway.....the wood boards were very slippery..... so glad I brought both of my long TOTTs and crossed my fingers that the one that I didn't have to climb high on would do the trick....walked back to get the TOTT and the heavens opened so had to sit in the car to wait for a few minutes until it stopped........Walked back down and even more carefully this time, really slippery now.....did I chose correct....... yep picked the right one and had the cache in hand and signed in no time.....but getting it back was the real challenge...my first attempt had it falling back to the ground....2nd try got it to stay up there but in the wrong place......attempt 3 yay back to original hiding spot. This cache was a special cache for me in many ways....it has filled 2 grids for me .....my 365 days calendar filled....yay....and DT grid filled as well.... Thankyou so much for the challenge and for the milestones reached. TFTC Davidwazza. fav point for you
Great little cache, lucky we had someone with us that able to scramble for it for us. TFTC. Out with Blamik and Beaker.
No luck today. However we will enjoy coming back to this beautiful spot to try again.
Decided to pop down to Mt Gambier for some urgent computer shopping. Couldn't help ourselves had to tackle a few CBD caches being a Sunday and then a few to/fro caches. Bit of drizzle around and surprised at how many muggles were out and about in the Pine Plantations.

Didn’t quite manage to locate this one, but wanted to log so I can say thanks for the GZ! Very cool and interesting place. Water is so perfectly clear it was hard to see in the fading light at the end of the day.
We had a delightful sunny day caching with Nicko57....in separate cars to ensure social distancing.
After completing the Honan Mint series we then headed south to the Mount to attempt a few more, and then were lead to this amazing group of caves by Nicko57 who had found them all before
In a warm sunny clearance we decided a cuppa was in order so Mrs Nicko57 kindly manned the kettle while we headed off to make the find
I must remember to check attributes on EVERY cache as we often have to return to the geomobile to retrieve TOTTs
Mr Nicko57 had fortunately brought our little 3 step ladder with him so we were able to make the find
Many thanks for a great hide at an amazing site Davidwazza

We were on a CCS mission this morning. This time we followed the old cave divers until they missed the turn off. Our maps were better. We had found the cache by the time they arrived. The tree is amazing. Worth the visit alone. The other stuff is amazing too. Calling something mud hole is not good advertising.
Cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

We had fun today doing four of the CCS series. Very interesting locations and also interesting to chat to cave divers (including the CO) at three of the locations.
This was the most amazing tree we have seen.
FP for the interesting fun.

Was here a couple of days ago with daughter and grandkids. Daughter mentioned she was here a few years ago just out for a drive. Spotted what I needed but I didn' t have the required foot wear (was tempted to go barefooted but decided against that idea). Managed to con geo son to venture out with me today to sign away. TFTC SL
A bit of a bush bash in the crappy car but got there in the end, spotted straight away and made the easy climb, cache is all good
Today I headed from Mt gambier back home to Adelaide, with hosting 2 events along the way it made for a good reason to cache along the way.

Took a couple of approaches due to fallen trees and ended up with a short 200m walk to GZ. We’ve been to this area before, but never this spot... WOW!!! Thanks for placing this cache and bringing us here! Little miss loved her monkey-time too!
Found It!
Took a few goes to find the track into here that didn't require a chainsaw. There must have been a lot of wind here recently. A quick find once at GZ which is a nice little spot. No need for the ladder though, was this one placed by gridge98 to? I know what he's like at climbing trees...

This one has a story...
After locating the 2 nearby caches with not a soul around, not even a passing farmer, I had the area to myself. I knew I could drive directly to the mud hole and so I did. The usual shortest route was blocked by a fallen tree, not something I could drag out the way and not small enough that the car could drive over... only because it's not a 4WD although it's had a fair share of off road caching where others wouldn't dare take the family sedan. Option two, out & around the slightly longer way, that worked... a little slippery & muddy on the final few hundred metres of track... but I'm here.
Off for a wander around, it's a beautiful area, with the recent rains the moss is out in full bloom. A lot greener than my summer visit. The boardwalk is super slippery so I take extra care after the first small slip... I stayed upright! Even though I was super careful I slipped again & again!
Finally down at GZ, looking around, GPS has me at 3 or 4 metres... but I can't see anything in the holes & crevices. So I look at the hint, one word "up". Okay... so maybe I need to be up on top of the wall. Back up the steps & across the top of the sinkhole, looking under that rock & that one too. Nada, nil, nothing! Stand up to stretch the achy back, look across & there it is! What the... why hadn't I thought of that when below? Thinking out loud to myself, "okay, I reckon I can do this without a TOTT". Besides I've had enough slipping & sliding across that boardwalk that I ain't bringing the ladder down. Plus it was far to much effort to unpack from the bottom of the boot. Off I head in the most direct route this time, almost going A over T on the mossy rocks. Suss out GZ & grab a hold... yep, I can do this... so UP I go! Balancing myself I reach, undo the cache & while mucking about, grabbing my stamp, I can hear voices. No cars here, no one to be seen. I'm alone out here. Maybe I'm hearing things. About to reach out to try to get the log back in place & again I hear voices. Yes, definitely voices, they are louder than before, very close but where I can't see anyone? No one is in the water, there are no divers, no other vehicles here but mine.
I sit here, in situ, when suddenly from out of the forest walks a lady followed by 3 companions & here I am... face to face with the group... impersonating a drop bear!
The young lady (who also happens to be the ranger) in a casual asking voice... as though she sees this sort of thing often... says "Oh, climbing trees?"
My awkward response was a simple..."no, just geocaching".
She knowingly remarks "oh yes, I didn't know there was one here, we thought there was a diver here" & they continue around to the steps discussing their work.
I replace the cache then gingerly climb down, not wanting to make a fool of myself if I fall that last metre (cause caching alone means no one would see my embarrassing moments had I tripped, slipped or fell on my backside)
Safely down, it's hard not to hear their conversation about the slippery boardwalk. Once again I gingerly walk with one final slip... reinforcing their conversation. At the top of the stairs we have a quick chat about diving, geocaching, GPS/smartphones, climbing trees as a 10 year old & slippery boardwalks (the contractors will address that evil slippery boardwalk)
Again thanks for the adventure, acting like a kid climbing trees again & TFTC Davidwazza

Found 20/7/19 @ 2:58 pm with Scubacapers.
Scubacapers played monkey for us today, as we didn't have a ladder with us (except the wire rope kind and that wasn't going to work).
I remember the first time I dived Mud Hole. We were booked, we'd just done 2 dives at Pines and were coming for a look but not going to dive. All the gear was packed away, undergarments off and back in normal clothes.
And then I saw the water. So clean, so clear. Must dive. Do we need to fill tanks? Andrew just laughed at me.... this will take you 10 minutes to dive.
I really like looking at wet rocks and I can spend plenty of ride doing it. 10 minutes? Yeah right - 1hr minimum.
I lasted 12 minutes. And that was only so I could say I outlasted Andrews prediction. I was done after 7.
But the water looks amazing!

Not the first time I have headed out and left my ladder at home, managed to get to cache and sign log anyway. I looked all over the place before reading description and finding where I should be looking. TFTC

After driving over from Portland after work I met up with Beaker for 24 hrs of caching fun with the added excitement of bunch of newly published caches as an added bonus. After bundling into Beaker's Land Cruiser we headed out into the darkness and almost came to grief on the slippery decking, after lots of leaf spotting the cache was eventually showed itself and I went up the ladder to find a clean logbook
FTF with Beaker.
The water in mud hole is unbelievably clear.
A favourite point for an interesting location and challenging hide.
Thanks for the cache and the added bonus of the cave maps
