I had a bit of time on my hands after dropping Mr 11 off at youth group, so decided to find some caches in the area. The final took me longer to find than it should have! Thanks for placing!
Seemed to be correct coordinates but after searching everywhere couldn't find it.
The Seagnoid has come to stay for a long weekend and have some caching adventures. After picking him up from the airport we hunted some random caches here and there, and then targeted some ad labs. There was one here at Abberley Park, and this cache was also a DNF for me so made sense to come here with an extra pair of eyes in tow. Turns out I didn't need them as I found it pretty quick. I'm sure I checked that spot last time I was here... Maybe just not quite deep enough. Thanks for the cache. Nice to turn it into a smiley.
I just arrived in Chch and that darn bear and I are doing some caching while on the way home for dinner. She wanted to stop by here as this was a DNF and needed revenging. We get to the final GZ and I immediately think the cache location is pretty obvious, but it is one of 8? Or is it 10? locations, so I start to check them all, but I missed one. Oops. And it was that darn bear that made the find. Which is only fair - it was her DNF, after all.
Stopped at this cache while visiting **New Zealand**! [^]**My #151st visited Geocaching country!**---This cache was easily found and the logbook was signed. One more smiley face for me in the GEO map.Everything was in good condittion.Really pleasant park.Thank you for hiding this cache and showing me this place! ---Greetings from ***Riga, Latvia***! Not having much luck today. This is the second multi that we have searched for 40mins and come up empty handed. Felt as though we checked all the possible places on all the possibilities. Bummer.
Got the required info and made the short walk to the quick find. I thought I might have the wrong coords at first but they were all good!
A quick find here once we got the required information. tftc - another multi dot day filled.
I like multis like this. Glad to have my grandson with us to help with retrieval. Thanks for the fun
Third time's the charm? Back here almost a year later, this time with a friend to do the Al escape room. While taking breaks from puzzling we were going back to searching - it was in the very last possibility. Glad to finally have this.
Bought a more experienced cacher to have another crack at finding this, on the pretext of doing the Abberley Park Virtual Escape Room Ad Lab cache and bonus. Pouring with rain today so we had a great time and we were wet from top to bottom by the time we headed back around to see about collecting this cache. Off home to dry off and get fed.
Fantastic day all round so favourite point from me.

Out with Sir Belac grabbing a few caches before I head back home to Nelson. We got here and he said I've been here before with Nanzie, had a look at the previous logs and sure enough Nanzie's log was there saying she did it with him but surprise suprise he'd not logged it. Will make sure he does this time. Thanks Aslan*

Worked out the coordinates but the final alluded me. I'll bring a few more pairs of eagle eyes on my next visit
My timing couldn't be worse... as I arrived I saw a Happy Easter sign and saw lots of mini Easter eggs scattered about. Next moment 9 very excited children cam yelling in to begin their Easter Egg hunt. It took about 25 minutes until they were sure they had found them all, and the 5 mothers herded them away, and I could begin my Easter hunt... Thanks for the simple multi.
My first time visiting this park - nice place. Didn't take long to calculate the coordinates, and only a few moments longer to find the container, in the fairly obvious place. TFTC.
Needed a GPS unit to find. Phone GPS wasn’t able to locate close enough. Enjoyed it being in 2 parts.
Solved on a sunny day last year but too many people at gz. Easier today in the rain.
Solved the coords this afternoon, but multiple children's birthday parties prevented searching. Back this evening but twenty minutes before the light failed me wasn't enough to locate this one, plus I was being eaten alive by mozzies. I'm pretty sure I had the right spot??
Thanks for this awesome cashe. We enjoyed looking for it. Maybe harder to find with the plants in bloom.
That was fun!
Went to a friends kids birthday party and snuck off to find this cache with a friend. We finally found it then came back to the party to a bunch of friends with FOMO. Sorry team

Took me a while to find it even though it was in a very easy-to-find place. I love Abberley Park and I'm glad that I cache brought me here to discover it.
I found this cache while on vacation in New Zealand Thank you for the experience Greetings from Germany
Very hot afternoon so the paddling pool is full of cheerful children. Found this cache ok, I'm struggling with the AdLab one!
Worked out the co ords age's ago but there were too many muggles about. No one around today
A nice quick find at GZ.
Quite a delightful wee spot, though rather busy!
Luckily the the "muggles" I was waiting for to move away weren't muggles at all but a fellow cacher and family!!!
As I was also doing the AdLab at the same time she knew immediately what I was up to and gave ne the all clear to retrieve the cache
Thanks Jude_E for providing cover and offering assistance with a recent dnf, it was nice to meet you

Picking up a few caches, challenges and solved puzzles.
Had dinner at my parents place in Rangiora which was good... on the way home I thought it might be an ideal time to make the find here. I had looked once before but stopped due to people. No issues tonight under the cover of darkness. Even had a friendly ginger cat come and assist me... Thanks for the placement
TFTC Aslan*, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 11 find(s) of 11 today, making this find #3518

Was a bit stymied on the adventure lab so took time out to do this nice simple multi. Had to be stealthy with finding due to a book lover taking up temporary residence nearby. tftc
Been on the solved pile for ages but this little area is never muggle-free. Picked it up after a night shift and on my way to a dentist appointment.
Solved the coordinates a while back. At the time there was a couple on one if the benches chatting away. After waiting a looong time I decided to come back later.
Today was the day. Thank you Aslan*.

A nice wander around the park and took in the adventure lab as well. Found in the 3rd place I looked and all in good order. Thanks Aslan for the cache.
Very cold today but worked out the coords & then made the find! With Campmotherandken TFTC
Found with Juju54 while trying to finish the lab cache, very cold today - TFTC
Not there anymore. Last found on 6th February so maybe fell down with high winds? Looked everywhere can’t find it. Anyone who previously found it please message me and that would be great!️️

Geocaching around Christchurch with woolwood9.
Weather has taken a turn for the worse - lots of rain now and everything wet!
We soon had the container found. SL: **tm/ww NZ**
*Thanks for putting this cache out for us to visit, we enjoyed the drive / walk around!*
Quite a bit of searching at final - we found an elephant and a large dinosaur which we left there before finding the container.

Kia ora.. Wasnt in my first guess... But a bit of a look about and I found it
A nice straight forward solve and a short search at GZ to spot.
Trip log: When cheap flights presented the opportunity to go to NZ with GreyHams, who was keen to get the 5 2000 caches and the web cam I was of course very keen to tag along. I didn't want to miss out on that... Equally as keen for those caches myself and the first chance to get the passport out in a long time and head overseas while we could. Covid Happenings of course did put the trip in doubt and a last minute effort from GreyHams to get the flights changed and it was looking like this might actually happen... until I arrived I truly didn't think it would!
The cache list was quite simple, the 5 2000 caches and the webcams. Of course we did look at others as we travelled, types, DT, not chosen which were in abundunce and caches of quality, if your cache made our list it had a quality we needed. Many thanks for your cache that helped guide us along our way.
Certainly it was a memorable time, barefoot 500 plus metres across a mud estuary of shells and crabs was more fun than it should be. As was pushing through wet thick high flax or tall wet grass across to the caches. But the most memorable would be the fog, the thickest, most relentless fog but it provided some stunning scenery at times and was just crazy.
I loved seeing all the chinese takeaways that did fish and chips, the perfect hedges and a deserved shout out to Indian Zaika for its great food! Certainly with the fog and rain it was an interesting trip and we got quite drenched at times, it hid a lot that NZ has to offer but 'it's a caching trip' after all so it ticked all the right boxes and was very enjoyable regardless. Huge thanks to GreyHams for letting me tag along while he did all the planning, booking, driving and sending in the answers for the caches... as always!

Trip log:
International travel!!...OMG it feels good. Grabbed some cheap flights and anxiously waited for some outbreak to derail the plan, but that amazingly didn't happen. Sure, I had to scramble and reroute our trip via Brisbane & Sydney as we were originally going through the plague pit...aka Melbourne, but we still made it.
Having done most of the North Island, it was good to finally have a crack at the South. 5 year 2000 caches and a webcam, thats a nice little haul. Sure, some of the year 2000 caches involved bush bashing....in the rain/fog/mist...but we got them all. We had lots of other little targets like getting all our types/sizes/DT, NZ in particular has so many 'Not Chosen' size caches, super rare back in Oz, so we made sure to get as many as possible. If you are reading this, its because this cache had a quality we were chasing.
As always, the Earthcaches and the Virtuals took us to some really cool places, the Steampunk HQ and the boulders being birthed at the beach being the highlights. My favourite cache though would have to be the one where we had to walk 500m over a mud flat, dodging shells and crabs with our bare feet.
This trip will be remembered as the 'fog trip' as we saw a lot of it, which meant we saw little else. Oh, that and how every Chinese takeaway also doubles as the fish & chip shop....its a thing!

Driving around town. Pleased the rain had stopped. Didn’t go over to the paddling pool for a dip. Soled quickly and found quickly.
I was over this way for the St Albans stream cache and thoguht it rude to not figure it out. Nice little spot, what a busy paddling pool they've got! A quick bit of maths then onto the final - a nice cool spot on a hot afternoon. Cheers, dropped a TB in
What a lovely park I am in Christchurch for the weekend Sir Balec and I we went and solved this multi quick easy find. Tft multi Aslan*
Mrs Biggles and I are on our way to Dunedin for our daughter's graduation. We have stopped in Christchurch to break up the trip. After we settled into our motel, I went for a walk to find a couple of caches. This was the second cache on my walk. Collected the information and made my way to GZ. Found the cache in about the 4th spot I checked. TFTC, Biggles.
Quick visit at the park, the logbook is a bit wet, container is fine. The pool is open, what fun!
Passing near here today and decided to stop in as I've passed it but never actually investigated this park properly! A quick multi followed by frustrating GPS bounce before finally spotting it's hide.

What a lovely spot and another we have never been to. We really enjoyed walking around here, the size of the trees are amazing. Thanks for this Multi and cache Aslan*
This one is in our area, so we just went to check everything was alright and paid a visit for our TB. All good here.
Todays walk in the beautiful weather took us to Abberley park. Very few people around because of the curfue.
Found the plaque and after some simple arithmetics we got some relevant coords.
After a short walk we found the hide and some other hidden things as well....
Thanks for the cache!
Greetings from Sweden.

No.870 at 2.05 pm. Easy found. without GPS as usual. As soon as I got A and B, it was just a matter of calculation and a quick search, and there it was. TFTC SL. Greetings from a Norwegian walker.
Soon had the numbers sorted and the cache was a quick find. Fortunately for me, Mr B had the required height to easily grab the cache! TFTC.
A busy day, but we need a few caches. So we visited this park again (must now be cache number 4 or 5) just to find the city council busy working. But they concentrated on a different area and the cache was a quick grab. TFTC
A bit of a multi day today, 3rd one lucky. When I read the hint I was filled with dread, but went to "suss" it out. Happily achievable for me, so a quick sign and happy dance, no-one looking. TFTH and the journey. Great park!
We soon found the plaque and gathered the information, then a short walk through this pleasant park to a quick easy find in a nice hiding place. TFTC
I'm trying to fill in a few dot days and came out to grab this cache since it was pretty close to where I was in town. A nice simple multi but I goofed the coordinates and ended up looking in the wrong place. After a PAF I realised what I had done and quickly found the cache after that. Tftc.
A black friday mission to nab a few caches before it gets too wet. Managed quite a few caches before the darkness set in and I had to be elsewhere. Thanks to all the CO's for the effort of placing and maintaining a cache. I think this almost exactly replicates on of my first 10 finds.

After a couple of rainy and cold days, it turns out all sunny and warm, so I decided to take a walk in the St Albans and Merivale areas. Last time I was here for the super long cache adventure alongside the Strovan stream, and left several caches unfound along the way.
Last time I came to the Abberley Park was for the Adv lab cache Strovan stream by ivxx_ss. Actually I looked at the exactly same plate for that cache, but didn't realize there was another multi attached to it. So I did it today.
Getting the coords was no hard at all, but locating the final was a little difficult. The GPSer was all bouncing in the park. But the hint helped me screened out several possibilities and headed to the GZ. Soon the container is in hand.

I was testing my own Adventure Lab cache that extends into a mystery and goes through Abberley Park as well, and it would be a shame not to stop and do this short and sweet multi while I'm here. I actually had the photo with all the needed details anyway but stopped at the plaque anyway.
I think I remember this one being published but I was too lazy to go out for an FTF that time.
Good place for the final container - should me underage-muggle-proof!

A nice quick multi in a lovely park. Went round in circles while cell phone decided where we should go then easy find in an obvious place. Daffodils nearly out.
This one took us quite a while given the number of potential hide locations, and the fact that there were leaves hiding the cache as well. Since these were extracted the next visitor should spot it more easily (if they are tall). TFTC!
Today, we went on a bike ride to grab some caches. We were not fortunate, and found only 3/8. Very nice park, it was quite easy to get the coordinates. Then at GZ we saw the cache. But a man was sitting, starring at us, behind sunglasses. So we decided to come back another time, as we left, we noticed this man was not starring, he was meditating, with closed eyes. So we went again and quickly grabbed, signed and rehide the cache. Thanks for placing this here, this park is really nice, and we'll try the small pool this summer!
This was all so familiar I wondered if I'd just forgotten to log it but, no, it really was ANOTHER cache in this wee park.
Like a number of previous finders I've found several in here over the years.
When I got to GZ I had to take a seat and look intently at my phone while I waited for a group of mini-muggles to finish their treasure hunt. Then I started MY hunt. No joy in the first couple of spots but after waiting for another muggle to pass through I found it in the next spot checked.

Lovelyday (sounds like the calm before the storm).
Muggles picnicking nearby (to The Rolling Stones!); I left this for another day.

Out and about in the wet afternoon...a couple caches and a visit to family. Very familiar with this park as MrsTGs parents live nearby and we used to come her lots when the boys were small. A nice wee multi quick to hand, all quiet in the wet.....nice to have another cache in the park. Cheers.
Took a little while to zero in on GZ. Up from Dunedin for the weekend. Found with Boo. Tftc
We often visit Abberley Park to hide and hunt for painted rocks so it was great to do that and find a geocache as well! A nice and easy multi and junior cacher helped me make the find at the end. TFTC!
For my personal daily challenge I needed to find one cache today to bring my total for the 7th JUly up to 11 found.
Once the frost had 'burnt' off Mrs BE and I headed to Merivale for lunch and then a walk to Abberley Park and back. After a very pleasant Sunday stroll we arrived at the park, hoping that the muggle total would be low. We were in luck, no muggles at all near GZ. The cache was soon located and signed. It was just another pleasant stroll back to where we had left the cachemobile at St Andrews College. Thanks for the cache Aslan*.

After the event in town this morning, mum and I went for a wee drive to find some more caches while the whole world was still sleeping.
We aimed for some high muggle zones, and some that were new & on the way home.
Nice & quick multi, and nice & quick final

Since we were already up (mostly) and about so early in the morning, we decided to go and find some caches of course with daughter! nice quick find although we did miss out on enjoying the park on a warm day during daylight... TFTC!!
Nearby today so decided to try this one and found the numbers easy enough. Took a we white locate and the hint did help. T
No problem getting the required information yesterday, but couldn't find the cache. Had better luck today, it turns out I would have been a couple of cm away from finding the cache yesterday. I think I have found 4 caches in this particular park over the last 6 years.... Thanks for the cache.
