After spending the night in town and dining out at the local pub it was time to get out and do colorectal the local area. I am working on a local challenge at home that requires cache numbers in Local government areas and so I need another 80 or so in the Gympie area. This area is rich with caches so off I go. Arriving at ground zero I found a safe place to park the geowagon and off I go. I quickly found ground zero and located the cache. After extracting the log and making my mark I quickly returned to the geo wagon in search of my next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers

**Found Thursday 04-November-2021 at 13:55 Smiley #1558**

Drove from Beaudesert to Hervey Bay and back in a day for one of my daughters awards presentation for the second time in two weeks. 820 kilometers broken up by caching and meals. Really appreciate the CO's placing all these caches.

All the logs are in good condition unless specified otherwise, and they were all found with ease unless specified otherwise.

Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache and thank you for breaking the drive up **youngoldfella** Big Grin

With the weather clearing it's time to hit the frog & toad again.
We thought Maryborough might be nice for a change but we couldn't help detouring via the backroads north of Kilkivan which still have so many caches on offer. Smile

Hi there youngoldfella.

We found your cache **" Water View from Smith Road."** today. (This makes our find count 25674).

Today's plan was to head north up along Booubyjan Road and then continue back on to Brooweena - Woolooga Road. Also today we cursed the Garmin Drive Smart, because it has a habit of not showing caches on its map. So we probably missed a couple today and picked up a few we blindly drove past the other day.[:(!]

It was a really nice drive today, made even better by not having to wade through long grass to find the caches. Our tally today was 34 caches & 0 DNF's.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Either a smiley badge or a gold coin
**Dropped Trackable:** "Signal the Werewolf".

Thank you for adding to our adventure.

Regards

Ian & Penny

Visiting the area for a few days and took time out to grab a few caches and this was one of them. Good coords and most caches were found easily enough and once the log was signed all was returned as found.

After a tumultuous morning of caching it was decided to go out with just three of us this time and cache some of the new caches and grab some older ones as we passed. So now it was just Willis007, 4hawkers and myself. I really thought we could not have any more laughs but the day just continued and I had a stitch from laughing so much.

The caches on this trip were varied, a variety of sizes and hides but all were in good condition. The countryside around here is amazing and just beautiful, thank you for bringing us around here.

Thank you to all the CO’s for placing caches around this area, I really enjoyed the drive around here and finding your caches. Sorry for the generic log but we found 60 plus caches this afternoon.

SO WHY ARE WE HEADING TO WIDGEE< IT’S NOT ON THE LIST???

Due to a miscalculation on time and fuel turns out one of the cars now needs fuel and the petrol station is shut. With racq on the way what else can you do but grab a few caches while you wait.

Day 2 of the New Year event at Kilkivan. Having a wonderful time meeting new cachers as well as catching up with some old faces.
After gathering heaps of caches this morning, it was time to pack up at camp as I needed to head towards home.
TripleTurmoil and CHAMAD decided to join me on the journey up north to find some more new and older caches. We had a super fun afternoon racing around finding these caches, and very much appreciate the CO efforts with these.
This was a quick find, log signed, cache replaced as found.
Thanks YOF for the cache.

Beautiful view near here over the river. We could see rainbow bee-eaters zooming around and an egret down near the water - wish we'd brought the binoculars.
Good safe hide, nice and cosy.
So many caches out this way - enough for several more trips. Sorry we missed all the events though.

Geocaching with my main squeeze, Oddiewan, my best friend, Moneydork and Oddiewan's sons BitternA4 and occassionally Flash_Cat (he bowed out about halfway, but I didn't mark where we took him back to camp) Oddiewan was on a mission and achieved his 400th and 500th finds on this caching trip. I was happy just to see his excitement of reaching his next milestone.

A big day out around the Kilikvan area has been on the cards for a while to tidy up many of the smilies left behind after the last catch-up.

Co-ords were excellent and containers generally in great shape, making for a good day of searching. Just needed to look out for the occasional stubborn bovine Big Grin

Log signed at 05:24 and cache returned as found. Thanks for the smilie and bringing us here **youngoldfella**. This log is trackable, mention where you saw it.

TFTC. Day 4 of our escape from Bundaberg for a caching exploration around Goomeri and Kilkivan. After our efforts yesterday there did not appear to be too many more caches in the immediate area. We decided to take a run up Running Creek Road. We input the furthest cache along the road, but the geo-vehicle took us on a Cook’s tour out to Woolooga. Ah well! We took the opportunity and cached the loop back to Kilkivan. Should have double checked the map. We managed to get back to Kilkivan before noon, hitched up the car and headed back toward Maryborough. Again thanks to the COs for making our exploration more interesting.

10:03:00 AM. FTF. Having been given a sheet of new caches to attempt and after Bruce was so kind as to create a GPX file off we headed with our GPS's loaded. We decided to go to the furthest and work our way back and pick up other caches as we came across them. Found and log signed. A nice quiet road out here. Thanks for the cache youngoldfella
