I took a quick look at this one when it was published. But there was a reasonable time commitment involved in contacting other cachers all round the world to gather the clues. And I was short of time, so I shelved it. I took another look at it a few weeks ago and joined a face boko group that facilitates the sharing of the required clues. But it seems that after an initial flurry of activity, all was quiet in this group. So I pondered some likely location again and read a few logs, and thought it entirely possible that I could take the jet (ski) for a bit a fly around the areas and perhaps get lucky. Late this afternoon, I was early for an airport collection - or more accurately, the arriving flight was delayed (how unusual , so I stopped nearby to kill time. After revisiting Charlie's most excellent display, which I recommend whilst in the area, I took a bit of a walk. What do you know? Bingo! What a bold location for a cache. Nicely played. Not solved in the intended method, but it was still most satisfying to etch my name in the logbook and at the end of the day, that is all that is necessary. Many thanks uqam Pete#8,130

#2601 My first find in Australia! This is my day 249, and the longest physical cache find streak so far. I want to see how far I go. When I found out this Global Geocaching series in Dallas in 2022, I slowly worked on all of them in the hope of finding them all one day. After deciding to take a family vacation in Australia, I tried to incorporate Brisbane to the plan. Things happened to work out that the flight ticket to Brisbane seemed to have a better rate, and I had confirmed the cache is accessible by walking from the terminal. So here I am, Brisbane, as my first stop of this vacation. Walking to GZ in the dark was not too hard. The find was also fairly quick with the spoiler picture from the checker. T-Tech and I are in the area to collect some of the nearby My Little Sailing Boat Geoart series.We got some help in the solving for this one while in Norfolk Island, and today's the day to make it a smiley. TFTC, WallabyWanderers & uqam.

I am on the way back home from a trip to Singapore and when I was planning my stay there this mystery type jumped out to me. While searching for the required information to get the coordinates for the sister cache in Singapore, I ended up combining the search for the clues with the clues for this cache and another sister cache in Germany. Obviously, it couldn’t be more true for these caches than that socialising with other cachers is a must for success. It was great fun reaching out to cachers around the world and I really thank them all for their tremendous support. A few days ago I was able to collect the Singapore version and today on my transit back home I was also able to grab this one! Upon arrival at the airport I checked how far away this one would be. Fortunately, since we had a few hours left until our connection flight the way to GZ could be made without too much hassle. Thanks for creating this very interesting mystery!

After visiting the listed GZ to 0.0m albeit at over 200kph during my last trip to Brisbane I made my business to collect the information required for this wacky puzzle. A quick park and cache completed the task today.

Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Had a bit of an adventure accessing the parking area but after a few trips around the sun I managed to get there. A short walk to GZ and then a speedy find thanks to the checker. Mr DisSister has been working behind the scences to secure some coordinates for me for my bday and this is one that he gave me. Thanks uqam

It has taken some serious effort over the last couple of years after collecting the 30 images from across the world as observed from Australia, and then making various alliances and partnerships to arrange information swaps. Finally it was in early 2023 that I had the correct Brisbane coordinates, and realised I had likely driven past this geocache on many occasions!

Today, a newly published kayak geocache lured me to spend the morning kayaking South Pine River, before returning home via a stop in Bald Hills for a short walk.
Just after lunch, it was then time to grab my visiting parents from the airport, which allowed for a couple of stops and walks in Wavell Heights and Northgate prior to my pickup.

My last cache find for the day whilst grabbing my folks, and I found a safe location to park nearby to GZ that allowed me the opportunity to visit this geocache without risking a fine. At GZ, it was a quick find of this nicely camouflaged geocache, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks WallabyWanderers & uqam for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. A terrific challenge that I was glad to have finally ticked off!

I have had the solution for this puzzle for a couple of years now.

I have had a few attempts to get to the parking spot for this cache over the last couple of years but I always seem to be in the wrong spot to access the parking spot. Today, i approached the area twice but somehow found myself taking wrong turns again. In the end I parked 300m away at Macca's and walked to the area. ( i had 2 other caches to work on in the area anyway so it wasn't a complete waste) . The cache was spotted quickly.

Diverting back through here to dip in my Abbottsford Geotour Coin that started it's journey at GeoWoodstock XVIII - GWXVIII.

A great collaboration cache that took a little while to glean all the information for.

Dropping Junior Gunnie off at the airport this morning, made for a perfect opportunity to detour on the inbound run and head over to GZ, where the cache was spotted on approach. [^]

Nice and quiet around this particular part of the precinct, so extraction of the container was easy and I quickly had my name in the log.

This quest started for me at Easter when I was passing through Brisbane. Once I had worked out what I needed, I set about contacting cachers in other countries to collaborate. What a fun exercise. I was able to get all of the information I needed but it would be quite some time until I would return. Fast forward to today when I needed to collect a passenger from the airport and I could finally make the find. I parked nearby in an allowed area, walked over and made the find. I really enjoyed this collusion, a favourite from me.

This cache research began nearly a year ago. We had a COVID case in the household, and were locked up for 28 days. Exciting times. Without being able to leave the house, caching was off the cards for a month. So to keep my hand in I turned to solving puzzles.
Then I stumbled across this “challenge”. What a fantastic idea. In times of no travel, I can see a lot of people were communicating cross border to collaborate on this puzzle.
So I reached out, sent a dozen messages to people all over the globe. The results were fantastic, people sharing all they had, so I’m sure I now have plenty of info to solve others.
Without giving anything away, I stumbled with the checker because I skipped a step, making an assumption about how to solve. So back to the drawing board. Inputting the collaborated coordinates and the next step was revealed. Finally I had a tick on the checker.
Next time I was at the airport, I managed to leave an hour early so I would have time to detour to this cache. Parked nearby and made the quick walk to cache. Log sheet was all dry, and name was scribed.
Firstly thanks to Tomss, Eltitas, Jbako, born_to_cache, Wild Utzel, Blasio, biker2work, Lutinette, Flevofrog, MKW, Izabel I Szymon, without whom the puzzle would not be solve. And thanks very much to Wallabywanderes and Uqam for the creative cache. Cheers

After 4 full on Mega caching days, Muggle65 and l were picked up at the airport by MB & C. I was very tired and was looking forward to getting home. Seems l was the only one. We spent the next few hours caching, starting here. Great cache and a fave point from moi

Upon arrival back into BrisVegas from the Townsville Mega & I we picked up at the airport by the MB&C crew. I was dropped off by the Sir Kingsford Smith memorial to retrieve this cache while they parked. Joining me to share in the spoils of the find. I loved the container & give it a fav point

Screen shots available.
On a recent chocolate powered pagan festival trip to QLD I used this geocache as the marker to return me to the airport. Don't forget to fill your hire car in town. Fuel is so expensive at the airport.
The waypoint was still the goto in my GPSr as we left the terminal for the journey home. We passed straight over the listed coordinates as we accelerated to V1. The attached series of screen captures shows my travel including a visit to GZ at 0m. Albeit at 214kph. No cache found there.

We’re flying to Norfolk Island this morning so we made sure we were at the airport early to allow time to find this cache. After we’d checked our luggage in we took a walk. There are hardly any cars driving by at this time. Cache was soon spotted and the log was signed.
