Easily found, not so easily retrieved. Definitely needed a tool to help. Thanks Sparra0907 for placing and maintaining the cache for our enjoyment. #2402

Found the cache after searching the usual hidey hole's. But how to retrieve it? This Wombat's limbs are to short and wide to fit, hmmmm. Lucky it had been raining recently as there was plenty of water to help the situation. Recommended bring a long, skinny arm or some water with you on this one. Cache is high and dry otherwise.

We have had a few weeks of solid caching since leaving home so it was time to have a quieter day where we caught up on some washing and recharged many of our things. We couldn't resist heading out in the area where we are staying for a few however to look for a few caches. There were a mixture of multis and trads some with good containers and a few challengesThank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Sparra0907.**SKI Pair****

This is no way a D of 2.0 - this is more of a D of 3.0 or 3.5 and also there is no Tools require attribute listed

14-Apr-23
Found at 1:52 PM GAFF2.
Intersting information about Quamatook - but where is it, was it? Did we drive past it and never realised? Is it like one of those Schools that disappeared?
Well we had a bit of a job when we finaly twigged on where to look - and btw - this is no way a D of 2.0 - this is more of a D of 3.0 or 3.5 and also there is no Tools require attribute listed which makes it doubly difficult for tourists like us! I would give it an FP if it was correctly rated.
Thanks to Sparra0907

Find # 9881

Making the most of Holidays and being able to travel. I decided on a 4 day trip that seen me head up to Swan Hill then down via Lake Boga, Kerang, Koondrook, Cohuna, Leitchville, Mt Terrick Terrick NP, Corop, Colbinabbim Rushworth, Whroo and finally Nagambie (then back home to St.Arnaud). Lots of back tracks taken and lots of dust to clean out of the ute. It was over 1250km travelled and flying solo on this trip I had lots of fun finding the caches.

I took a couple more wedges out of my 360Deg “finds from home” map and ticked off a couple of caches that I have heard about that were on my “to find” list.

There was a huge Variety of caches found from bird boxes to Fridges, Wall mountable tool boxes to Eclipse tins, with the odd ammo can thrown in. A couple of head scratching gadget caches chewed up some time but will be memorable for time to come. Numerous puzzles that I had solved i managed to find and I even managed to make good on a couple of DNFs, and add some more DNFs to my list. Even though I was out on my own I still had to use a couple of PAFs to get by. Thanks guys.

Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch. We stopped to look for this one as we were driving past. We looked in the obvious place, went back to the car for a torch and tried again. Nothing there. I expanded my search and examined something else, there's something there, it might be the cache. Luckily we had the perfect tool to retrieve it easily. Quite sneaky but a lot of fun. TFTC

Despite reasonably accurate coordinates, it took a few minutes of hunting before this well presented and well hidden cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Sparra0907 for a good cache.

Apologies for the late log. We had planned an autumn break staying in Swan Hill for five days during the school holidays. I didn't have a huge amount of caching planned but did manage to nip out most mornings and try a few. Today my main target was a letterbox cache that I had already done some research on. Having found that I stopped here on the way back to town. Almost gave up here thinking I wasn't going to be able to reach this one but used a tool found on site I was able to get there for my third find of the morning. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Sparra0907.

No need for owner maintenance on this cache today. Its all fine and dandy and just waiting to be found. Cheers.

I stopped at the intersection this morning Smile
Was I confident of a cache find ??
No way !! [:o]
Swan Hill cachers are evil cache hiders Twisted

But wait !! [:o]
Maybe I spoke too soon ??
There's a cache to be found here Big Grin

But of course it's not in the 'obvious' place !! Razz
Or is it ??
Depends on what you think is 'obvious' I s'pose Big Grin
I did momentarily worry about getting stuck in the cache's hiding spot Red Face

A late run today as I did some online study this morning which left me thoroughly confused So decided to pretend it wasn’t still windy out there and hit the trail Visited some historic spots, took a few pics, went for a walk, and logged a swag of caches.

Stopped by this one returning from shopping in Swan Hill early in Nov but not sign the log. Harvest today was replaced with grabbing smilies because of the weather. Today quickly retrieved the cache and signed the log.

En route from St Arnaud to Swan Hill, of course it is important to program in a few breaks such as this, to feed our caching addiction and maintain a safe driving record.
Not quite where we expected, much easier than we envisaged.

Thanks 'Sparra0907' for adding this cache to the gameboard.
