This cache took a few minutes to hunt down. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache.
Reperio 14:26Day 4 of our tour of Tamworth/Armidale caching trip, and today, Master Vitruvius and I were able to focus on more of the cache closer to the Tamworth area. We had such a great time over the last few days finding plenty of caches. This one was quickly found along the way.Gratias Whitey WiskasAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
It is sad to see so many roadside memorials, but they remind us to take care. Cache was a quick find with ilook4geo and all was replaced as found. Thanks for placing this cache go to Whitey Wiskas.
There was no problem in pin pointing this hide and the log was soon signed. Crossed the road back to the geo vehicle carefully. TFTC.
We enjoyed this cache. Standing at the nearby memorial, we were able to remember our Garry whom we lost far too young. Tftc
Whitey Wiskas I found your cache Remember Garry on 20/10/2023, 11:25 am. This is my find 6110 and find # 4 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
This morning Mrs Woodyrothwell and I are making our way to Orange to start our wine tour. A few yards out of town and we are already stopping for our first cache.
I could see a car in the rear view mirror catching up to us at a rate of knots. It was clear that they were going to be overtaking us just as we were slowing down for GZ
Rather than do any weird maneuver at 100 km/h, we thought we would pull into the driveway about 200 metres out so they had plenty of chance to drive by us without inconveniencing them. Well we severely inconvenienced them because the driveway we pulled into was theirs.
We got the stink eye and then I yelled out that I pulled into their driveway to let them go passed. The stink eye turned into smiles before we drove the final 200 metres to GZ. tftc

Final stop on our drive from Dubbo to Tamworth, peaceful time for reflection on road safety and of course find another cache.
Thanks to Whitey Wiskas for adding this cache to the gameboard.

This cache was a simple find for the first along the road. The description was very good at setting the scene of the area which led us straight to the hiding spot.

This roadside monument to Garry needed a bit of weeding and that not only let the sun shine on the flowers but the cache came into view

We initially weren't going to pull over for this because of the Dnfs, but thought we'd give it a go. Soon had CIH. Didn't take too long. R.I.P Garry.
Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled from Merriwa to Tamworth. It was a pretty bad weather day, with continuous showers of light to heavy rain, but we attempted to make the most of the day. We travelled via Denman, and then proceeded north stopping at Muswellbrook for lunch. We then drove through Aberdeen, Scone, Murrundi, Quirindi, Werris Creek, Duri, and Warral, arriving in Tamworth in the later afternoon. Several of NSW's LGAs were visited during our travels today.
A nice memorial, but we had a fair amount of trouble trying to find this cache. We searched a bit through the wet ivy, but we must have trodden on an ants nest, as they were all over us, and also within the vines itself. The cache was probably here somewhere, but it wasn't worth our efforts in searching further. Thanks anyway Whitey Wiskas for the cache placement.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

heading into the area again for a one nighter as we are heading back to see the grandies at Gilgandra this time via Narrabri picking up this trail as we head from Quirindi which was my mothers and her parents stomping ground thanks for the Cache
One of the best roadside memorials I have seen. Such a young age to have been taken.
Wow what a monument and I think/hope it is updated as he could not have been a grandfather at 38. I am surprised such a monument is allowed but it was great to see. TFTC
Found at 1:42 PM GAFF3.
Must have been a very popular and well regarded person - interesting that the council allowed this memorial to be placed here.
The bush is now nearly completely covering the monument and it is tough getting into it.
Thanks Whitey Wiskas.

I checked today. It is still there. It is a bit tricky now that the bush has grown so much.

We're heading home today after a great long weekend caching in Tamworth, deciding on heading down the 'tourist route' through Quirindi (more caches this way anyway!). We managed a clean sweep of all the caches that were there, including a pair of GCA virtuals. Thanks to all the CO's who provided so much for us to do whilst out here. We'll be back.....
Tricky.... especially for a road-side-way-home cache, where we tend to bail early, we were getting toward the cusp of a DNF call when Samuel spotted it.... lucky.... TFTC!

Spending a few days in Tamworth and this morning we decided to do some caching close to and in town.
Found after a bit of rummaging around - thanks WW.

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 3. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. Today we headed out to do caching trails around Tamworth to the North. The day was mostly roadside caches, but they were all of differing levels of challenges, especially when you have to deal with Farmers Friends and Stinging Nettles at almost ever cache.
Thanks.

20,495. Found with albida33 during a meander up to and around the Tamworth and Armidale regions.
Day 3 of our trip. Headed out after breakfast for what turned out to be a big days caching. We aimed to hit some of the trails around the region. Next stop of the day, and we came up with a quick find. Tricky to get too though. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.

Slowly heading home. Left Uralla this morning heading for Mudgee.
Bettyboo3747 and I collected occasional caches along the way.
Had to check all the beer containers just in case! (not really)
Nice hide, but a sad story.
Thanks, Robmc.

#16815. Our second day on the road with the new camper travelling homewards from Uralla to Mudgee. A long day - smoky and the land is so dry and desolate and soul-destroying. Gathered a few caches along the way as they popped up on the radar.
A very nice memorial to Garry. Well kept and with tasteful plaques and plants. The hide was a bit tricky to find, even with the clue.
Thanks Whitey Wiskas

I will think of Garry when I drive today. Thank you Whitey Wiskers for all your well maintained caches.
Tamworth Day 2
Arrived into Tamworth & have set up camp at the showgrounds.
Hubby needed to be somewhere to watch Bathurst. After the start of the race we went out to do some caching. We have never been into this area before & most of the area has great views over the farmland.
Last one of the day before heading home to watch the final of the race.
Thankyou for placing this cache Whitey Wiskas

What an event getting to this cache.... It was like watching a car chase in a movie... over the roundabout, across the cement divider, swerving past cars stopped at the red light, onto the wrong side of the road and gone... Dead right whitey, the road can be an unforgiving place. TFTC
**FTF** In town to pursue a few detective clues but couldn’t knock back a chance for an FTF.
A quick find although the phone had us a bit away from the logical spot (which was where it was). TNLN TFTC
