Touring around the countryside. Nice easy drive by cache, all in good condition. Tftc
Staying at the River Retreat for 4 days so just had to claim a smiley at this one. The grass was long so I tried to stick to the dirt as much as possible to avoid any wriggly sticks as it was quite a warm day. Once at GZ it was an easy find of the well maintained cache. Thanks for placing the cache for all to enjoy a find.
On our Australian trip . After started for some days in Darwin we are on the road to Perth now .On the Road after Katherine we have seen Edith Falls, Kunnurra and Bungles Bungle. Finally we cross the Pentecost-river to enter the Gibb RiverRoad . A lot to see like Emma Falls, El Questro, Mitchel Falls, Manning Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Bell Gorge, Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge .Now return on the sealed road again . Further over Derby, Broome, Port Hedland, Karratha, Karijini NP, Exmouth and now down the coast to Perth .After Coral Bay we headed further on the road and stopped for this one .Didn't find the bridge, but the cache .TFTC# 17'266
The station looked interesting but after fighting off the flies while looking for the cache, we just wanted out of there. Thanks for the hide.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 92 - Denham to Carnarvon via Port Gladstone. There was quite a bit of driving today. I managed to find two caches along the way, including a short detour to Port Gladstone. I was hoping to have a look around, but it is private so I had to walk in from the gate. My afternoon in Carnarvon was a drive around town doing one of the sets of Labs and finding a couple more caches before heading back to the caravan park for dinner. Tomorrow is a day trip to Gascoyne Junction to get at least two caches in my last WA county. The roadhouse was amazingly busy so I did not spend any time there. I went over the bridge and saw no water. There was plenty of room to pull over end then just a short walk in the long ground cover. The cache was found OK, and I got back on the road. Thanks for the cache Team Outnabout48659.2 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & The Great Leap Forward SA 2024 A#541**Albida**
Quick find while waiting for 11am so we can book into the station for 3 days.Flys are friendly!!TFTC
A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT then over the top of WA to Perth.Interesting detours to Thursday Island, Mabuiag Island, Mornington Island, Doomadgee, Hells Gate, Nhulunbuy, Wadeye, Litchfield Nat Park, Wyndham and the Gibb River Road.TFTC.A great roadside stop.
A good opportunity to get out and stretch the legs, and head. Was a bit unsteady initially but cleared with the walk to the cache a bit. Cache all in very good order, thanks!
Found with e.gregory1 on a trip from Adelaide to north-western Western Australia for four or five weeks. Camped out along Milinya-Exmouth Road before heading southward to spend most of the day around Carnarvon and on to our next campsite somewhere near Overlander Roadhouse, finding a few caches along the way. Thanks for the cache Team Outnabout!
Found on a trip to Western Australia from Adelaide with FeatherWaite. Last night we camped south of Coral Bay and this morning we continued traveling south towards Carnarvon and beyond. This was the last cache for the day and was a quick stop for an easy find. The cache and contents are in excellent condition. Thanks Team Outnabout for the cache.
Fresh log----------Decided to do a long road trip, flying in from Canberra, starting and finishing the drive in Port Hedland. It was a long day of flights, followed by 7 days of lots of kilometres. I stopped at every 'point of interest' along the way, I wanted to miss nothing! Earthcaches, Virtuals & AL's are always very good waypoints for interesting things as well.Every night I downloaded a bunch of podcasts and these made the kilometres fall away. This was the first outback road trip I have done where I saw more emu's than kangaroos. The wild camels walking in the desert were also very cool to see. My trusty swag served me very well.
Muggle team member was Outnabout and had to pass by this location. I asked if he could replace the container which he happily agreed to do. I received a phone call once he reached the location to say there were no caches in the area. I guess he was logged out. Rather than try to explain how to log on (hes technically challenged,) I sat in my office about 330km away trying to describe exactly where he would find the cache. Long story short, there is now a brand new container in place.
Had a lovely stay at Wooramel retreat. Food to die for and artesian baths warm. Staff are friendly and hard working. Flies annoying but they are everywhere at the moment. Tftc
Looked in the wrong tspot to start but nice easy find once I checked the GPS! TFTC

TFTC! A little prickly on the legs in shorts, but a nice easy find for our trip back to Carnarvon
A night at a roadside camp between Denham & Carnarvon.
Only one cache to find on the road today.
Arrived into town early & have set up camp at one of the many caravan parks.
Thanks for placing this cache

WA road trip day ? Heading south then west and north again, seems to go the wrong way..
Went to the moon on the way and ended up in shark bay.
Went to the moon on the way and ended up in shark bay.
We are having a little bit of time off from helping our friends in Nanson we decided to head north to try and collect a few more LGA's and Lab caches and anything else that pops up on screen.
We were heading north so we were able to check out the river before we got to gz and running true to form there wasn't a drop of water to be seen.
Coming from Victoria that it is classed as a river when it only has water in it on such few occasions it seems quite strange.
The cache itself was located quite quickly by simply following the GPSr to gz and we added our name to the log book before returning everything as it was.

Why not stop at a bridge?

Brad and Janet are on another epic journey. This time it involves many of Len Beadell’s 6500km of roads including the Anne Beadell, the Connie Sur, the Heather, the Neale, the Gun Barrel Highway, the Gary, the Talawana Track, the Gary Junction Rd and more.
And of course a 2 day visit to Maralinga which Len also located, surveyed and largely built as he had with Woomera and Emu. An amazing man.
If you don’t know of him he wrote some wonderful books. Laconic with a dry sense of wit, they are an excellent read. They are also available as audiobooks as is a recording of his brilliant after dinner talk one evening in Shepparton. Worth a listen.
And now the Moon Tours trip is over we are heading back to Adelaide via whichever way takes our fancy after a few days rest and repair in Karratha. Almost certainly down the WA Coast before heading to Hyden and the land of the Salmon Gums.

Today we made our way from Denham to Carnarvon. As there is not much sightseeing on the way, we just stopped for some caches...
Quite a long way through the bushes, but it was all dry and no snakes to see, so I gave it a try. Quick found at an obvious spot.
Thanks for the cache and regards from Switzerland.

A nice quick pull over and leg stretch while travelling from Geraldton to Exmouth with the caravan today. Cache all in good condition. Lucky for us the grass is dry and flattened forming a clear path to GZ. Lots of traffic on the road today and I’m sure about 15 cars went past and would have thought I was taking a pee behind the tree haha but nope, I’m just picking up a smiley TFTC
Quick find here.
Heading north for one mintue of moon shadow. This is one of stops on a long journey.
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

I'm winding my way up to Exmouth for the eclipse After an overnight camp at Goodies, I was back in the car for the next leg up to Carnarvon... with a few caches to find on the way for good measure After a short break at Overlander, this was my final cache on the way into Carnarvon. Pulled the car over and headed over to GZ. Road was fairly quiet and the next 3 vehicles coming along all slowed and turned into Wooramel Station. I must give it a go Path to GZ was easy and the cache was a nice quick find once there. No problems here today - TFTC
After an overnight stay at Wooramel Station, relaxing in natural 32 degree artesian water baths stargazing at the endless WA outback night skies, this was a lovely way to end the stay, TFTC Team Outnabout
Didn’t attempt this one cos the grass was too long and proper snake territory & snake weather. Sad we couldn’t do this one. Wish it was hidden on the sign or somewhere easier to access.
Planning to stay overnight at wooramel station but one cache before going there, tftc!
Great to find a cache where the owner has gone to the trouble of using a waterproof container complete with associated paperwork and geocache sticker.
Easily found safely placed and hidden.
Left behind a couple of pieces of treasure.
Seven months and 15,000 km into a big lap starting from the Gold Coast in QLD.
Thank you for setting up the cache

We were on a driving/camping holiday up to Exmouth with a few stops on the way and than camping our way back to Perth. Stopping for some caches along the way.
Found some lovely and learned some interesting things that we wouldn't have stopped to look at if it wasn't for caching.
A great time was had, even though one day our campsite was flooded and we had to move to a new site, many animals crossed our paths including a snake in Exmouth, overall it was a great adventure.

Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time, while travelling.
We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA. I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Stopped off the find this while passing by.
Thanks for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it

I left an elephant pendant (made of silvery metal and stones) in the renewed cache. TFTC Team Outnabout.
Day 19 of our 3 week break & today it's Master 10, now 11's birthday For his birthday he told us we we are not allowed to go caching!!! So here we are, sneaking out of camp to find this one whilst the rest of our group are having a bath [:o)]

Called in to replace the log and decided on a complete makeover. New container and new log.
The grass is thicker than I remember but there’s a well worn path.

Found it. TFTC Team Outnabout.. Happy to make the find here, replaced as found. Didn't feel comfortable walking in the tall grass but if it means a smilie, I'll be there.
We are on our way further south with ilook4geo and stopped here to find this cache. Very happy that it is not another one under a bridge. A quick and easy find was made, the log was signed and replaced and we were on our way again. Thanks for this cache placement go to Team Outnabout.
Came along here with goingplaces2 and walked across to find this one. No problem with it. Cache was retrieved, log was signed, all was replaced. Job done! TFTC.
Not the most obvious place and not the second most obvious place. Trust the coordinates. Found this one at 14:58 this afternoon. The container has perished from UV degradation, so I replaced it with a 200ml Sistema. The log book is full and I didn't have anything suitable, so can the next person please put a couple of sheets of notebook in? TNLNSL TFTC Team Outnabout
Quick k find with chooke, though the cache needs some repairs and the log book is full. Tftc
Day 24 of the long road trip from Perth to the Townsville Mega via the southern states and then back to Perth again via the northern part of Australia.Today was basically from Exmouth to the Overlander roadhouse with a short side trip into Denham. This cache found without problems. The log was signed and the cache returned as it was found. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for cachers to find.
Followed the Geotrail and found the cache easily.
Slight maintenance needed since the logbook is full and one side of the container is broken.
Saw an Australian Bustard nearby.

Thank you! On a road trip to Exmouth and back. Happy to find the cache here on a super rainy morning.
Found with kiwinic on our annual north trip. After staying at the station stay a few days it was time to keep heading north. A quick easy find here. TFTC
Found this cache after a shortened stay at Wooramel Station. It is a gorgeous spot but it was ridiculously windy which is why we left early. Shame but hopefully will get back there!!
Good fun stop off. A little sketchy finding it in thongs but pushed through. TFTC.
Weekend away from Exmouth, staying at wooramel station. Driven past this cache so many times on our travels from Exmouth to Perth and back.
The grass was high but a track has been trampelled to the cache. Didnt stock every giant cricket jumping about make my heart skip a beat thinking it was a snake though

On an Adventure North. We have hitched the caravan are are intending to find some sunshine and warm weather.
Travelling along Hwy 94 and Hwy 1, our destination is Broome, via Karijini NP, then the trip home is along the coast sampling the towns we have yet to visit.
Of course along the way we will be getting a cache of two ......... and lots more.
Stopped just up the road, and found this once the other caravan moved on.

Thanks Team Outnabout for bringing me to this location and taking the time to hide and maintain this cache. I found the cache at 09:34:00. This was my Find 43 for today out of a Total number of 50 Finds and 4 DNF for for this Caching Outing. The cache was found in Good Condition and I signed the log and returned the cache as I found it.
This find brings my total number of Finds to 5397.
Quick trot through the bushy grass to find this one! Found with RedRobbin25. Tftc
We are spending a few weeks travelling to some of Western Australia's warmer regions and grabbing a couple of the LGAs that I need.
We camped nearby and I went for my early morning run back to the highway. It was a bit further off the road than I expected but it didnt take too long to find once I got there.
This was find number 1 for the day.

Continuing on our trip north we stopped here went for a wander and spotted the cache. All good here log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Teamoutnabout.
Found this morning with Bjossi on our way south to retirement. It was a quick find, but marred by higher than normal grasses after TC Seroja. The cache is in surprisingly good condition given how long it has been since any cachers have visited. Thanks Outnabout for the cache.
Heading down from Marble Bar with axell33, this is day 2 of the trip and we are making pretty good time even stopping to cache along the way. A quick pant and grab with all being well for this one! Thanks for the cache and greetings from Baldivis.
