30-Dec-23
Finally found this one after a DNF last year. However it was completely out in the open, damp and container and lid damaged. We may get a chance to replace before we leave. GZ is quite susceptible to flooding so perhaps it should be shifted slightly?

18-Aug-23
I was so confused and could not find it for ages and I was about to give up then I saw it out of the corner of my eye got berry muddy like berry berry muddy but it was a great cache it’s good to have some in port Elliot cus there’s no that many

19-Jul-23
A quick stop and walk the dog and find a cache on our way to see friends holidaying on the island, winter caching is not always a great past time down here, so much wind!!
What a drama the GV2020 became with the holdups according to Covid and then the low numbers due to Covid and the lack of interstate and international people due to Covid, funny with all the changes Covid was responsible for its a wonder no one placed a cache in Covids honour.
Thanks for the cache placing and recent replacing by a cacher, Found it, signed it and replaced it.

A nice detour on the back roads of town here, made my way in and soon found the nicely hidden cache

Today after doing some family stuff together I had a few hours spare to go caching around the local area. So set off and found roughly 20 caches.

Thanks for the cache

On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting & detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird or Angry Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC GeoVenture2020

Good spot for cache. Trees are very spikey though!

I was hoping not to need to go near the disturbed earth, and the multiple hidey holes animals had created. In attempting to find a safe way in, I encountered the remnants of the cache, scattered far and wide. This has been muggled, but thankfully a bit of scrounging around I managed to put it all back together again. The book is worse for wear being out and exposed for so long, but I managed to get my name in the book. You may wish to visit this one and consider some alternatives as someone definitely knows it is there. Thanks for the cache and the ongoing maintenance.

18-Nov-21
Found this with my wonderful long suffering muggle husband. Lovely open area surrounded by some houses. Easily found. Container looks in good condition but it’s been very wet at some time. Managed to prise the log open and stamped it but really needs some maintenance. TFTC TNLNSL

10-Oct-21
Today I headed to VH and surrounds for a caching day.
Visitors coming to stay unexpectedly meant some frantic housework before I could leave home (they probably didn’t even notice ) so my 8.30 departure became 10.30 but there was a curry in the slow cooker and my house was the cleanest it’s been in weeks!
My goal had been to find 45 caches sadly this ended up being only 27 finds and 4 dnfs. Had a mint day out though the coast was looking beautiful and there was so much bird life to be seen.
Had a lovely cake and coffee in Goolwa and was please with my haul.
This one was quite manky TFTC

This cache was found and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or sometimes with just plain old dumb luck! Stay safe when caching. Watch for snakes, random cliffs, wild goats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]

Make sure Travel Bugs are the only ones you share and pass on Big Grin

2020 turned into 2020won, and 2020too is on the way! 2020free should see us through Razz

Still important to observe social distancing when possible, (150 nano caches apart should do it)
Still important to wash your hands (always has been really [:o)]
Still very important to look after each other and take precautions & get checked out for even the tiniest sniffle or cough, or unexpected headache! [8)] [B)]

Still even more important to get some fresh air and exercise while we can, so get out and cache the country!

Thanks so much to all those placing caches out and about away from the city crowds,
keeps our game safe and interesting Cool

With today's weather forecast to be pretty good compared to yesterday we decided to head on out. Weather was okay but pretty choppy still out on the water. Surfers loved it! We managed to grab a few caches out and about.

So we did it, we took the plunge and early last year made arrangements to sell our little hobby farm in South Gippsland and ‘do a big lap’.
No full lap is complete without a lap of the little island first.
So after tidying up our affairs and putting everything into storage, we celebrated Christmas with our families and hit the road.

We recently spent 7 magnificent weeks in beautiful Tasmania, then we just did a quick trip down the west coast of boring old Victoria, making our way to South Australia, quickly crossing the border before Covid struck Victoria again.
We Looked forward to slowing things down as we spend time in SA with no return date planned. We just spent 20 odd days along the Limestone coast, bagging out on Abalone most days, very few crayfish though Sad

Thanks for being one of the CO’s who supplied us with a cache to do on the way.

Found with Shonky Logic on a great day out in an attempt to close in on 100 for the year, poor effort I know. But 2020's been that sort or year. We had a great ride along the power trail and then decided to do a few more in town and the surrounding areas.

28-Nov-20
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled to Victor Harbor for the day to target a few Adventure Labs. We walked around Granite Island, and then did a loop of The Bluff (Rosetta Head) in the afternoon. Finally, we briefly stopped at Port Elliott beach for a swim, and then returned to Adelaide via Crows Nest Road.

This was an interesting little area with the small wetlands, although, they were reasonably dry today. After making the jog loop around, I managed to find the cache reasonably quickly. The cache container was in good shape, while the logbook was slightly damp. Thanks GeoVenture2020 committee for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.
