TFTC from the Kayakviking! Done a little ramble ages ago when in town for work. Back in daylight and a glorious evening...so cleaned up a patch and got my steps up.Cheers KV
I had a little time before work today so I had an hour and a half to zip around a spall part of the mount ainsle trails. Aim was to get some steps in and I grabbed a sneaky 5000 and tested out my blood pressure before and after 118/80 at the start..100/78 at the end. Eh?It was a really weird combo of cool but sunny, I wore a hoodie and my camelback with my snake bandages on board. Dont wanna get dehydrated!A quick find at GZ. Thankyou for placing and maintaining this series TFTC
It was back to Ainslie for me today as I chose a reasonably direct route to today's streak cache (perhaps not the right move seeing as though I had more time than usual today, but oh well!)This ever-reliable series took me right to the correct place with accurate coordinates where a little reach in allowed me to retrieve the cache and sign the log fairly quickly! Thanks to binliner for originally placing this one and mountainsbeyond for keeping it going!
Visiting Canberra for the Mighty Mega. A wonderful event! Many thanks mountainsbeyond for providing this game piece for our enjoyment.
We have arrived in ACT for the GEOBASH 2024, and are doing a mixture of sightseeing, caching and refreshing memories. We found this cache and signed the log. Tftc mountainsbeyond for maintaining
We arrived in Canberra for the mega and pick up some more caches .Found the cache with TBU1BIKESU. Tftc mountainsbeyond
A pre-Mega cache check here today. Logbook was almost full, so I have replaced with a new container and logbook. Good to go!
7th of 14 found today.I talked FFP into coming out for a walk around this area. As she's an advocate I didn't want to blaze her on a warm day so that's why this area. Was a top walk around with plenty of kangaroos, parrots and millions of orb spiders. Sometimes went overland, sometimes crossed "ravines" and once I even helped FFP across the river (not) flowing over the fire trail. The things you do in the heat to stay energised. I was really impressed by a couple of the hanging hides that actually blended in even though they were in the open. All caches were in good condition, with most being in excellent condition. Kudos dear cache owner, we appreciate your efforts.Apologies for the generic logs.TFTC mountainsbeyond and the throat.
I am from Switzerland...and we travel all states and terretorries of Australia .We do housesitting all over the world and this time we started off in Tasmania .We have been in Australia many times before. Its nice to be back and this time even better with geocaching Nggi2 and I decided today and to make out of green ones Smilies. We have arrived in Canberra last evening and had to camp by a memorial park,,because 2 Caravan parks had closed already..so today winstead of waiting around till 2 pm for one to open we went caching . It was very humid and we were sweating .We aslo picked up some sticks to keep snakes away while going in the bush ..a lady told us tha usally the bush is dry and not so green ..and a another guy told us a lot about wildlife in this nature ..it was very interesting . I saw five kangaross hopping past us . We found most caches in fair time .Thank you for this Dsli (which means in Swiss cache )oinkoinkText@camp
We're still going, and we've lost the muggle stream. So this one was easy. TFTC.
Caching around Canberra for a couple of days. TFTC.

Out training for a hike in The Grampians next month, and noticed there were a bunch of these caches stashed just a little bit off trail. This was my favourite of the ones I did in this series, it’s hidden in a great little spot!
Thanks for the cache

With the GeoAunty down from the abominable Queensland, we decided to make time for a few caches after I had finished work. Most of the caches were found with ease. The scenery was very nice after the rain, which was thankfully minimal during our walk, although feet did certainly get wet, as there was quite a number of puddles and mud.
Thanks for the fun!
Thanks for the fun!
#842 We continued to wander along and this was the next on our the list for our attack here. Another one where Turtle decided to head off the track a little before GZ and avoided a fair amount of mud due to the rain tonight. Another quick find at GZ after adjusting a viewpoint. Thanks binliner (and mountainsbeyond) for the cache
#2729 Second find in the AHR series this evening. A nice quick find at GZ. Nice and dry despite the rains this evening. TFTC.

Lockdown has bought a totally different approach to caching with the introduction of homework! Much time for homework in fact. Therefore many more puzzles solved, both as a solo and collective effort. Thanks to my fellow geo buddies for assistance when needed.
And in between there are still some traditionals, though not nearly as many of them left these days
Logs all in good condition unless otherwise noted.
Thanks to binliner for putting out and maintaining all of these caches for our enjoyment!

#11503 - 2:00:00 PM; Dropped the geohoney in the city for some retail therapy and headed off to the Botanmical Gardens for a couple of caches and then on to the foothills of Mt Ainslie to see how many more in this series I could collect (10 finds and 2 DNFs as it turned out). A nice day to be out wandering in the bush. All caches which were logged were in good condition, including this one. TFTC binliner
Collecting another smiley on school pickup day. Found it just before the rain started with batz7. TFTC
Another quick find once a GZ. Great day to be out walking the area. Lucky you having all this on your doorstep...
Thanks for another one....
Thanks for another one....
Staying in Canberra over the Christmas break with my brother, woke up early this morning to walk up mt Ainslie and grab some caches! This was a nice quick find, Tftc!
Was still in an online meeting when I noticed that the light was fading.
Downloaded google meets to my phone and took the meeting on a walk. Sunset is nice and there are Saturn and Jupiter in the photo. Mars missed out as it was directly over head.
Getting rather dark now and the roos are snorting nearby. I better get back on a track.

Thank god for a quick find after eating far too much lunch in this lovely bush!
A straightforward find on a ramble around the fire trails thismorning in the rain, accompanied by GeoKid and the GeoHound. We got quite wet, but saw lots of kangaroos and kookaburras and parrots, and no wriggly sticks. Thank you!
