March 2012 is when I found [Where Did I Leave My Golf Cart?](https://coord.info/GC102FC). There's a statistic that can calm down for the overwhelming feeling it gives me of "crikey it was already that long ago?". Wild to think my age then began with a 1! And while it's sad to see that oldie got archived about a year later, and definitely missing a few after that, I love that this replacement and ode got placed back. After all, the history of the winch far out-dates the history of geocaching, but still both are important to folks like us.Parallel plans were made for a walk around Mount Glorious, and when the dust on the group chats had settled, we were coming to this piece of track again. An un-early start for KBreeAhh,1MinnieMoo and oz_bean_counter had us setting off for Mount D'Aguilar via this geocache; the latter of which has been on my to-do list, so I'm happy!Thankfully, my memory of this walk was worse than it turned out to be today. I could have sworn it was farther to walk, but maybe that was just a longer day. Or I was younger and less akin to going bush.Being summer, there's a threat of being a disastrously hot day, but it just wasn't today. Plus being under a thick canopy most of the time. A short jaunt from the cars, we almost wandered right past the turn-off, but I did recognise it, having walked past more recently and pointing it out. Down into the undergrowth and along the single track we go.What's to say other than "we walked a further mile to the above set of co-ordinates"? Of course, it is just fantastic being in the forest, with the noises of wildlife and sounds of motorbikes fading behind. Combined only with the ludicrous conversation of four excitable people with at times questionable dignity in such company.New to my memory is the little sign posts that point to the Piper Comanche wreck. I am so sure they weren't here a decade back, and perhaps the walk, like many others has become popular enough to warrant the investment. Whatever, it makes navigation impossible to mess up now!At GZ, I expected the winch to be in a worse condition, but it's hardly changed. A quick look about and the geocache was found. Nice to have the CO give it a look over too. All in good condition and I was amused by the sheer number of muggle names in the book. Good on them for signing it and replacing too! At 08:33 our names were also added, and the lot replaced as found. And now we wander a bit more onwards. Thanks for this geocache, adventure and company, 1MinnieMoo
A found quick by BrisLions.

Found after a great event in the city. Absolutely love the history. Took quite a few photos, for KFCD to enjoy.
A good hike with good trail here.. good foot pad, and easy to navigate.

Fun find with a fun group after the Bubbly Event. Love seeing old stuff left lying around for us all to enjoy. Thank you for the fun cache
After attending “The Great Bubbly Experience” (almost as good as The Jimi Hendrix Experience) a couple of dedicated hikers wandered west into the wilds of Mt Glorious to find caches . This was a great walk and at the time of writing this log, tick free. Cach in good condition. Loved the size
After the event this morning Muggle65, GreenGecko1, FlutterBeryl and I headed to D’Aguilar National Park for a stroll in the park. We had three caches as our main targets.
We had lots of fun today. Lots of chatting and walking in beautiful National Park with still a lot of old large trees. One thing was amazing is the amount of large strangler fig trees.
This cache took us to old rusting logging winch. I love what caching can bring me to.
Cache was found, log signed and replace back.
1MinneMoo and Slow Puncture thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for geocaching community enjoyment.

Nyssaflutterby and I were needing some time away from reality and to soak up some forest air.
So we headed to this lovely track that we’d been to once before. A few more hills then I remembered!
We even met some other cachers who had passed us on the track but were opening the cache as we turned the corner.
Thanks for bringing us here..again

I was in need of a dose of outdoor medicine. Trees, fresh chilled air and some good company. So wombles and I decided to hit the track and get our pulses thumping. This is a lovely walk, glad to be revisiting it.
As we were coming closer to GZ two young people passed us. Happy to have a short stop and continue on. Just as we were closing in I heard that sweet sound of the rattle of an ammo tin opening…. Haha! The two who had just passed us were also geocachers They had the cache open as we arrived at GZ. What timing! A quick hello and signed the logbook. Nice to meet some new faces to the game.
Now on to the new letterbox atop Mt D’Aguilar.
Thanks for the cache 1MinnieMoo and 2Slow Puncture
Happy to part with a FP for the pretty, shady walk with NO leeches today!!!

Very nice cache! Stopped here on the way to the plane wreck, and met two other cachers too. TFTC!
This morning I left for a 3hr walk with Karicka to the new Letterbox cache and a couple other caches in the area. a lot of things get discussed on walks, world peace is sorted, caching etiquette is restored, space travel is an option and apparently the world is round. Walking on, our first stop was at the timber jinker. I signed the log to the cache there, we then acquired some information and then continued to the summit Cairn. At the cairn, we had just punched in the finals for the new letterbox and got a green tick from the checker, awesome we are the first ones on the list. We wondered over and a little search around and we found the cache, then we noticed someone else had been there earlier. Oh well the cache had to be done at some point, we had a bit of a laugh and then started our way back.
We then went down the track to the piper and found that cache. A nice walk back up the hill and it was then home. oh wait, we happened to be sitting on a large log when a notification came through from this morning’s finder. We had 15minutes to kill so we read the log and thought interesting, challenge accepted.

In the area exploring with Beardman75. A great piece of history here. Thanks for the cache.

Wayn0 and I came for a walk on this beautiful winter's day. My third visit to this "golf cart". Thanks for the fun 1MinnieMoo
Quite a while between finds here, but James, Matty and Luke came along today for a walk in the rainforest. We found the previous "where did I leave my golf cart" some years ago and have been to the Piper wreck a number of times from early days when one of the first responders brought us in. Luke retrieved the cache easily, and decided the date stamp was great so we left a new Land Rover in its box. A fitting tribute to IF indeed, 1MinnieMoo. TFTC. I think this was the first real rainforest trek.
Found it 23.07.22 there were some cranky army men because they found out that other toys have been taking over
Headed out for a morning hike to check out this trail. The geo kid wants to lead a hike out here and when we realised there was a couple of caches to be found, we suggested checking it out first.
We did overshoot the trail entrance and had to back track.
Really enjoyed the walk through here, felt like we were all on our own.
Cache was easily found once at Gz and all in good shape.
Many thanks for the cache.

Second time on this great little walk. Didn’t realise this cache was here last time. - easy find TNLN - thanks for the hide
This was my third visit (maybe 4 th) to this Golf Cart. Originally discovered a significantly more intact cart with my good friend IF many many moon ago, there is also evidence that i returned back to the Cart in 2007 with others an claimed a find then and i seem to recall venturing past it another time as well. I do like to smell the roses.
Today I ensured that a plan which had been in place for a week or 2 was completed be it in a modified format with a few strays invited along to keep us company along the way.
I do miss all the adventures with IF
Thank 1MinnieMoo & Slow Puncture

Finally grabbed this beast of a cache. It was foggy this morning, and every now and then a few seconds of rain, but it really added to the ambience as the forest looks even more magical in mist. It was an easier walk than I imagined - much easier - and I really should have grabbed this years ago! Still, there's no time like the present. Really interesting (and sad!) history at this site, though there are only small portions of the plane left.
TFTC 1MinnieMoo (and 2SP!).
TFTC 1MinnieMoo (and 2SP!).
Today, the plan was a hike to Kobble Creek Falls and Middle Kobble Remote Bush Camp in D'Aguilar National Park. It was only a small group that completed the hike in 3.5 hr, and with remaining time and energy, an additional hike was made to the Pipe Comanche Plane wreck / [Palm Gully](https://coord.info/GC102FM). This walk extension wasn't too bad until there was a required steep descent to the wreckage, and some interesting history was learned. On my return back home, I took a few final stops along Mount Glorious Road, including the completion of the *Camp Mountain Rail Disaster* Adventure Lab.
Following our hike to Kobble Creek Falls, E_Smiley and I decided to continue our walk to the Piper Comanche plane wreck. This walk had already been on my scope extension plan anyway, and with sufficient time and energy, we decided to give it a go. It ended up taking us 3.5 hr to complete this walk, although we also added an additional detour to Mt D'Aguilar following the plane wreck visit, with us departing the car park at 11:00 hr and arriving at the plane at 12:20 hr. After a 30 min break, we departed at 12:50 hr, detouring past Mt D'Aguilar at 13:30 hr, and then arriving back at the car park at around 14:30 hr. I ended up spotting the entrance to this track on our previous walk, and it was very well hidden - perhaps to not encourage any walkers that weren't prepared. The walk along the ridge and past the machinery relic wasn't too bad, but the descent down to the wreck was a little tough, and other than a few pink ribbons, it was easy to lose the guided track, so an offline map allowed us to nudge ourselves back on to the track. Similarly, the footpad to the mountain summit was also quite rough, requiring the map to find the track when we came off a few times. Overall, a very enjoyable walk that was mostly under the shade of the trees. E_Smiley managed to have a leech on her, and there were a few patches of wait-a-while on that summit detour, but otherwise the tracks were pretty enjoyable and reasonable.
It was a shame that the previous geocache from If got archived, but good to see this location acknowledged with another, as well as the kindness to honour If with this cache's name. We quite enjoyed this old logging winch relic, and after a brief search, we found the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, although it wasn't tethered like the hint mentioned, so hopefully this cache doesn't suffer the same fate as ;Where Did I Leave My Golf Cart ?](https://coord.info/GC102FC). Thanks 1MinnieMoo and 2Slow Puncture for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Thanks for the cache and taking us here 1MinnieMoo and 2Slow Puncture. I had no idea where davidwazza was taking me after the event at Kobble Creek camp, although I've saved this and the other cache nearby offline in my handheld and phone (just in case we still have time, energy and we haven’t killed each other ). Didn't have a chance to refer to both (TOTT) as Davidwazza 's guidance was spot-on plus there were orange arrows along the way.
A very fun and enjoyable day we have had, first to Kobble Creek Falls then to the plane wreck. What a bonus to see a tribute cache along the way. I haven't met If but he sent me one of his personal geocoins for replacing his cache with his permission many moons ago. What a guy! Totally unexpected gesture. By coincidence I took a photo of a great looking orb near the event today.

Out targeting a few select caches today to work towards a challenge cache. My first visit here was almost 10 years ago. A walk I would have quite happily done on my own, but I opted to meet up with some crazy people I had found on Facebook
I had never even been to an official event at this point, but what could possibly go wrong with wandering off in to the jungle somebody you had just met online.
Well it was all downhill from that day. Many more adventures have been had and may there be many more.
Not so much of an adventure today with the short stroll to collect this replacement. Loving the new well marked superhighway that is here now. Not much chance of getting lost.
A favourite point for keeping the memories alive. Now why do I feel the need for a fizzy cola[?]

Found a couple of days ago as we returned from the Bailey & Muscat Creek circuit along with Puff'n'Puffin. The whole thing took us 8 1/5 hours with a couple of breaks. Some magnificent - mostly dry, at present - waterfalls to scramble up and down plus some seriously steep and slippy hillsides to scramble around on.
But worth the effort a and a cache tp p[ick up on the way back as a bonus
Thanks Minnie & Slow

Found it quickly while on the hike in to Palm Gully and the plane wreck. Lovely day for a bush walk along a well established path thanks to Queensland Parks and Wildlife . Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache in an area I would not have been to thanks to Geocaching.
Found 29.08.21 @ 1430 with Squirel_joe - found on our return from the wreck. Almost forgot to grab it. TFTH TNLNSL
What a lovely walk this is. ?? It’s a fairly easy going track all the way to the old ‘golf cart’ and past many colossal trees. The forest was alive with birdsong this morning, and we saw lizards and a pademelon too.
The cache was soon found, log signed and all replaced as it was.
Thanks heaps for the cache and adding more fun to our walk.

Found this one this afternoon with 7 of my friends. We'd been talking about heading up here for a while and made it happen today! Hooray!
The track is very well defined currently. No side trails visible except the one down to Kobble Creek South.
We ambled along, enjoying the trees and the so-nearly-almost-a-view-but-not-quite
Golf cart spotted! The cache has separated from its tether, but still all good.
Thanks very much for luring us out here

If I'd only listened to one of those voices in the head saying don't go, make up some excuse!! If only i went back to sleep instead on listening to the birds taunting me to open the eyes. If only the weather turned sour and plans had to be postponed. If only, if only and if only that damn song didn't stay on repeat inside the skull. BTW, think the end of the song 'If' lacks some punch and is so out of context to the rest of a lovely ballad.
My comments above are a little overrated as the walk to this spot was pleasant and the surroundings were even nice, if you stay on the track. It was the next step of the journey to Palm Valley that was the proverbial 'trip to hell'. A fitting tribute cache, thanks for setting this up MinnieMoo and Slow Puncture.

With my heart set on Palm Gully I had not even realised IF was on the way. TeamARF is counting down and is constantly 500 odd m ahead of my GPS. Thought I had bad reception until he mentioned IF and i was set stright! Lovely old relic and great tribute cache!
#4904 [13:13] i decided doing this short trip today. it was a bit windy, few short showers, but all okay for a walk. ridge path was fantastic, fallen trees, mostly downhill, nobody around... i've really enjoyed it until the point where i decided to visit mt d'aguilar
thanks for keeping this place cache-settled, it's interesting seeing something similar in a middle of nowhere

Hi After a heavy duty week of too much virus news, the Domsky Duo hatched a plan to head out into the bush for some exercise and to clear the brain on a beautiful autumn day.
We parked in area where a number of other cars made us wonder if we might see some other walkers along the way. As it turned out, the other walkers must have had different plans, as we saw no-one once we left the fire trail, a couple of hundred metres from the car-park area.
With no other walkers on the track, all was quiet and we were able to enjoy the sights and sounds of the nature around us. The bird noises were constant and we loved hearing the sound of a cat bird calling/crying in the distance; plenty of` eastern whip birds and their mates calling along the way, and a bower bird's "bower" with a few small blue feathers close by.
Just as we arrived at GZ, Mrs Domsky pulled up short as a large snake (photo attached) seemed determined to not let us get to GZ. It's head was raised, so we backed off very quickly, and used our walking poles to make noise against nearby branches and trees, hoping it would retreat. It kept watching us, and finally after some time, it quietly backed away from us, while we watched intently to make sure it was not heading to the cache container! Just a metre further on we spotted the 'golf cart', and after the recent reptile encounter, prodded gently and with our poles to make sure Mrs Snake's partner in crime wasn't there waiting for us.
We signed the log, and loved seeing such a large container here at GZ. A most unusual 'golf cart'?....definitely not one we've ridden in before
Log signed, and then we continued our walk, hoping to find the lost location of Palm Gully on our walk today. BTW, Mrs Snake was no longer around on our return journey about an hour or so later!
Thanks 1MinnieMoo and 2Slow Puncture.
A perfect day out!

I have visited this location on a previous hike, in fact the first time I had been out hiking with Crookedpete. On that occasion there had been some deficiencies in navigation which led to an unexpected visit to Kobble Crrek Falls as our first stop. This time around, there was no missing the entry to the track, and the whole path to GZ seems to have improved a good deal. At GZ we ignored the phones and just searched the logical spot with the good size cache quickly located. With Dez still to visit the nearby plane wreck, we elected to continue the walk into Palm Gully. TFTC
My first visit here was back in 2014 some time, hiking to the Piper Comanche wreck. That day we missed the well concealed path. Never mind - it was a nice walk all the way to Kobble Creek Falls and an unloved cache that day! On the return hike, we found the window to the this track and did manage to eventually find the wreck. I also grabbed the previous iteration of this cache then.
Today, Jezndez was in charge of the target list and this was the first cache. On arrival here and after signing of the log, she promptly announced that she had never visited the the wreck or claimed the Palm Gully cache that was there . Would we mind continuing? So onwards we went!
The leaches were particularly vicious today - no sitting on the ground when resting or you were attacked.. Whilst I ended up with a blood soaked sock, Seffnjarah was smashed and fed a few until they were big and fat!
Coming from a big timber family, relics like this logging arch, are always of interest. Golf not so much though. Have a crooked favourite point for the former. Always good to see an interesting archived cache bought back to life as well.
Thanks 1MinnieMoo and 2SlowPuncture

I've been called a few things - weird is amongst the nicest, and one of my weirder traits is a single minded focus on a couple of personal geo-goals. Locate, list (and find) caches that are tributes to local cachers ... especially the really cool cachers (like this one). And also, to find all caches put out by my mates - and so I am here polishing off another by the Moo!
I think this is now my fourth visit to this spot. My first time, very early in my caching journey was actually my first ever meeting of Iolanthek, T-tech, K8'n'Co and Brother Colin ... a fateful day most will say. We visited Palm Gully that day. And my second time was immediately afterwards as BroCo had lost his phone somewhere so we two trundled back this far in an ultimately vain attempt to find it (turned out it was a lot further on, and the phone is now a trackable in the wilds of Western Australia I think). My third visit was a return visit to the Gully and remembered by our party getting extremely disoriented on the return uphill and being saved by someone (JAT? Can't recall) having a magnetic compass handy.
And now, a new cache is here. A fitting location for the epic trekker IF. I first met him on another really early caching trek for me, as we both calmly walked over a razorback chatting away before realizing those behind us had reverted to crabbing across what we had barely noticed. I have often seen his logs (all over the country now) and enviously imagined his endless adventures. And such imaginative logs too. I can mentally see him gleefully walking out here, finding and subsequently memorializing this cool spot - and with such a great name too..
So here I am. Cooped up inside all week, really desperately needing a leg stretch. And chasing the Moo's new hide seemed like a good idea. I didn't muck around I must say, I didn't have a lot of time and the drive out took an hour or so (also muchly enjoyed) - but carpark to carpark ... 45 minutes! A great workout.
This track is a bit more adventurous then I recall from previous visits - a few trees down on the track, and a few needing a little side-trip detour. Added muchly to the fun as I jogged along. It is also more down then I remembered - except for that one really steep bit. Saw a small group of kids coming back as I went in - I suspect they'd been down to the crash site ... not geocachers. Came up to GZ, and there was a beautiful ammo can just waiting for me. Noice!
Grabbed a TB, left a FP. Took a photo. Then headed back to the car as I still had time for one more adventure today. There wasn't as much downhill going back as I remembered either. Got the heart racing, but that happens I am told.
Thanks 1MinnieMoo and 2Slow Puncture for entertaining me at this location.

I can by today with LadySim and a group of muggle friends for a second visit to the wreck nearby. I remembered this particular waypoint well, and was happy to come by again for a second cache here. Thanks for keeping the history alive.
Thanks to Fangsoki for providing alternate coords in the original archive cache

Out after breakfast at Mt Glorious with IolantheK for a pleasant hike out to IF
A cold but sunny day perfect for a hike [^]
Even saw a bower bird bower adorned with blue
Nice easy find, dry and in good condition [^]

T-Tech and I took our first ever geocaching hike out here, way back in 2012. We had been invited by Brother Colin, and also coming along were some unknown geocachers called teamdfl, Pprime (P`) and K8'n'Co. It was the first time we met all of them, so quite an auspicious day indeed. The walk that day was to get the two caches, one at the logging winch and one at the plane wreck at Palm Gully, and happily both became smileys.
Today T-Tech and I set out for the walk to visit this new cache at the logging winch. I remembered this as the less strenuous part of the hike The track has become cluttered with fallen trees and vines but it is still a pretty easy meander out to the "golf cart". GPS wanted us about 15 metres off, but I checked where I expected the cache to be and found it quickly. TFTC, 1MinnieMoo and 2Slow Puncture.
On our way back we came across a perfect bower bird nest, complete with blue accessories [^]

This one had us turning into the bush and hunting around for a good 20 minutes for more. We had no idea what we were looking for but we found nothing useful. We searched in every hole and under every log we could find. The kids were getting bored so decided to climb upon a big fallen tree and then finally we heard a shout out, "We can see it". We rushed across to where they were indicating and of course immediately found the cache. On two devices we were 25+ meters out for GZ. Glad we found it in the end. TFTC.
Visited today with our son, who was out for a walk. Cache still in prefect condition.
Ha! another forest hike with 1MinnieMoo’s name all over it. She does get around.
Originally my phone GPShad me off in the wait-a-while but it ended up much simpler than that.
TFTC and the shiny new cache box.

Mrs SP asked us if we wanted to come for a stroll to pick up a couple of caches out this way. We were only too keen to tag along. Picking up Mrs SP at a reasonable time of 7am we were made our way up the winding mountain passing a policeman just wanting to nab some speedy motor cyclists.
Arriving at the parking co-ords and Orange Crew was there waiting for us. We set off jumping a few giant trees that lay in our way on the path. The path was relatively flat and we were loving it, so when we hit a bit of an incline we al thought where did the pleasant stroll go? In no time at all we were at the rusted machinery and the find was made in no time.

Out for a walk with Slow Puncture and 4ando on a nice cool morning. I had been meaning to do this walk for a few years, including the old archived cache, but never quite got here. So when I heard there was a new cache in place and others were going for the walk, I was all over it. The kids were supposed to join us but have been struck down with the flu.
We set off early and enjoyed the flat section of the trail, before coming to a little more undulation and really warming up the legs.
Along the way I found a hole which had been nicely camoflaged by leaf litter, which sent me tumbling though thankfully no harm done.
We soon arrived to the old logging winch, it certainly has seen better days. The great container was an easy find before heading off down the hill to Palm Gully.
This cache earns us a souvenir for International Geocaching Day 2019, yay!

Log signed at 08:31 and cache returned as found. Thanks for the smilie **1MinnieMoo and 2Slow Puncture**. This log is trackable, mention where you saw it.

Good day for a walk, the parking coordinates were almost full.
The start of the track was a bit hard to find-.
To our surprise, we met some familiar faces along the track, stopped for a quick chat before continuing this great little walk.
The golf cart looked to be on the heavier side, cache quickly found.
Continued towards Palm Gully from here
Thank you very much for hiding this cache

FTF Today (we think) after a pleasant walk though the Forrest. We found the nice container and signed the first page of the log but then noted that Fangsoki had written on the second page. Thanks for the cache and great walk. Andrew and Maryan.
Indeed a Fangsoki did write on the second page - because he wasn't claiming FTF on a cache that was placed when he was there
I had found the original cache, [GC102FC Where Did I Leave My Golf Cart ?](https://coord.info/GC102FC), many moons ago. I knew that 1MinnieMoo was visiting the area a couple of weeks ago and I let her know that I expected the archvied cache might still be in place. Alas, interestingly, it was not
So plans were hatched to replace the beast with a new listing. It had nearly been 8 years since I visited said "Cart" (apparently it is a "logging winch"!) so I was happy to accompany 1MinnieMoo and and meet up with Slow Puncture at the prescribed parking.
These path to this one wasn't fooling me a second time.. Like everyone else, we had sailed past the turn-off many years ago. We knew where we were going this time
It was a lovely walk through the rainforest. It was not as bad as I remember it. A little bit of a hill.... A little bit of a 1MinnieMoo who can't spot where the paths are going despite only being there weeks earlier
Despite 1MinnieMoo's apparent inability to navigate paths (), we eventually arrived at the familiar relic. I had carried in the container in my backpack. I surrendered the beast and let the hiders do what they do best... err.. hide!
With it placed very well, we headed back toward the car. The navigationally-challenge 1MinnieMoo thankfully didn't manage to get us lost on the way back out
It was a real shame the original cache was archived - but now a new, fine beast lives in its place. And this little bit of history really does need a cache.
TFTC 1MinnieMoo and Slow Puncture - very happy to visit once again
