Logs
Gevonden samen met Bald Eagle op onze trip door Nieuw Zeeland op 29 feb. 2024 09:25. Dank je wel Dillnutz voor deze cache. Groetjes van mij 1609 uit Eindhoven
Z had a nice slash in the water on the wander along the beach to this cache. A quick find once a bunch of resident muggles vacated the area. An interesting clay court, but no stars playing while we were there.
Easy little find. Beautiful views. Paper was wet. Found a dry spot to write on. Tftc.
TFTC - quick stop on our way home from holiday - unfortunately paper too wet to sign and didnt have any replacement on me - apologies.
Found but wasn’t able to write on the log as it was too damp. Apologies for not having extra log paper with me on this trip- usually like to help out in these situations!
Many thanks
Many thanks
I found the location indicated quickly enough along with several likely locations, but no cache Unfortunately, I had family waiting and couldn't linger, so unsure if I simply didn't search closely enough. Will try have another go before my little holiday ends.
Lovey stroll on a cloudy day. Paper was wet and needs to be replaced. Thanks!
Located a few caches during a visit to the lakes today. I’ve been in this neck of the woods around Christmas - New Year a couple of times in the past when it’s been very busy. Today was very quiet in comparison. The cache was a quick find. #5968. TFTC.
Very close to our new family bach. Kids super excited to find this! Thanks so much!
Out at the lake whilst holidaying in Rotorua. We looked for this one last summer but it must have been muggled. Today it was a pleasantly easy find even though there were heaps of muggles. I was able to discreetly pick it up from the first place that I looked, walk away and sign it then return it. Thanks for replacing it
Lovely reserve on a beautiful sunny day. A quick find here. Have lost our pen at previous so supplied a photo. TFTC
Awesome found it, thank you! Driftwood lid was a good clue. Didn’t have a pen so didn’t sign
Noted a few DNF's on this one, took a couple of different-sized containers for a replacement and the only one that fit in the location was a camo-painted mint tin, hope its ok for the replacement cache, closed the door with a piece of driftwood.
We found it but the plastic bag has not been sealed properly and it has gotten very wet! We will come back on day and replace it.
This one was super fun I enjoyed the walk to it and is one of my favs so far. Easy and fun overall amazing
After walking past this place over the last few days, I always find it funny when there is a cache hidden. With the kids small hands available, we soon found the cache. Cache was full of water though, so couldn't sign the log. TFTC
Our first time EVER getting busted by semi muggles. We were loitering around wondering if we could be bothered flicking away leaves when a young man came running over enthusiastically to show us what he’d found. They were locals who kinda knew about caching and was super excited to show us. Great spot that was quieter and more swimmer friendly than other places nearby.
Super cool tree of my childhood in an awesome antipodean location. Found on an expedition with Piwaka54! Thanks for bringing us out here Dillnutz!!!
This was my last full day in Rotorua after caching with friends yesterday. I concentrated on a few that required some hiking which was out of the question with one of the friends.
There was a muggle sitting nearby, but I was able to make the grab without her knowing what I was doing. TFTC.

Quick find on the way back from a lovely autumn walk. Adorable container! TFTC
Walked over from the car park, and spotted the tennis court
A beautiful Autumn day, no muggles about, so easy retrieval. Fun find, thanks for the hide Dillnutz

Quick find thanks to the hint. A few muggles around today - a table is being built nearby and there's a few that have turned up with fishing rods. Lovely breeze to enjoy. Tftc
Spent the day at Lake Tarawera with family and friends jetsking and biscuiting. After some swimming it was time for a walk and a few caches. This was a short walk from our picnic spot. A few kids playing tennis but they were too busy to notice what i was up to. A nice quick and easy find. All good here, TFTC!
Cool little cache, and easy clues... just have to be sneaky and maybe stop for a while to “take in the views”
Time for another visit to Rotorua before Christmas. Decided to do the Tarawera trail as it is a beautiful day and a beautiful place to visit Cache all good but coords took me to another hint item at first TFTC
A new string of Geocaches spurred this visit so it's time for a tiki-tour. I contacted my mid week caching partner Mc Jandals and proposed a nice little clean up of the area. We had quite the adventure caching from dawn and finding some really beautiful spots. I managed to walk away with 28 caches and my highlights were the views out towards Mt Tarawera and of course... the company
I've got money on this one getting muggled first! Super obvious something is here but on the up side - it was a quick find. Cheers Dillnutz, TFTC

On a trip with Philip after seeing these new caches out. A spur of the moment plan was hatched and here we are. II am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing us back here. Cheers
I was out here searching for some new geocaches so took the opportunity to look for this one as well. Great coordinates and hint meant that it was a straight forward find. TFTC
We bought a couple of Aussie friends out here in August to do this cache and were disappointed when we couldn't find it. Seems it went missing soon after publishing. We noticed it had been reinstated but we haven't had a chance to get out here before today. Soon found this time and no muggles around to disturb us making the find. Just a couple of fisher men in the carpark area who were more interested in catching trout.
Thanks Dillnutz.
Thanks Dillnutz.
There were a couple of muggles swimming not too far from GZ but other than that the area was deserted and we enjoyed a nice walk beside the water.
Once there the cache was quickly located.
Beautiful location. Thanks Dillnutz.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap) and the kids... It's the end of the working week. So what better thing to do than find a cache. We dislike loose ends, and this hide was a loose end.
This was our third time visiting Rangiuru Bay. Funnily enough, we met the same dog-walking couple from the week before. Again, they left their pooch for us to entertain, while they walked off along the lakeshore. (We should have charged them dog-sitting rates). Anyway, the cache was a quick find and sign, and we had lots of time to throw sticks for the dog to retrieve. We must have been too boring, because the dog skulked off when we stopped giving it attention... Thanks Dillnutz and TFTC.

Out showing W.E.E.O. around Rotorua and as we had not done this one came out here. Disappointed not to make a find. After an extensive search with 4 pairs of eyes no sign of the cache.
So I’ve visited this location twice now... My first visit was the day after the FTF had gone. I’m hoping that I’m either blind or ISAG... Surely, this one can’t have gone already!
(FTF) joint at 230pm as Agogo turned up Yoda found the cache. We had been watching this all day thinking to ourselves surely someone has been here . The weather had cleared so we made the trip out to the lake cache was quickly found and we were pleased to get FTF. Kids played on nearby playground after. Thanks.
the rain stopped so had a pleasant drive. great views of the mountain. 2nd to find as met Davidson clan at the cache site. tftc
