Find#2903A glorious day out and about. I was going elsewhere before a last minute Ute change of plans today. Seeing there was a few DNFs for this one I didnt have much hope. But I found it just as the hint said. Log and cache in good condition TFTC Colleda
We have travelled from Sydney's Northern Beaches to the Central Coast for a five day midweek holiday, staying at the Norah Head Holiday Park (caravan park) in Norah Head. Having already found most of the caches around Norah Head and the areas surrounding Tuggerah & Budgewoi Lakes on previous holiday visits, except for a few new ones and the odd DNF needing a visit/revisit, on this trip we will be concentrating our efforts in areas to the north of Lake Munmorah. Planning to explore areas around the southern & eastern shores of Lake Macquarie, including Wyee, Gwandalan, Doyalson North, Cams Wharf, Murrays Beach, Pinny Beach, Caves Beach, and Swansea. Photos will be uploaded to logs on our return to home base.Today we spent the morning caching at Caves Beach, where we completed an EarthCache and collected a single stage of an Adventure Lab, then followed the "Two Beaches" cache trail around Pinny Beach. The return drive back to camp had us stopping at Galgabba Point for a cache that we missed yesterday, then another stop at Budgewoi for fish & chips, before arriving back at camp for a swim in the pool. This was the 3rd of 9 finds for the day (day 4), and 43rd find of the holiday. After visiting the Caves Beach sea caves, for the EarthCache and Adventure Lab stage, this was the next cache on today's cache target list. Accessed the cache from Caves Beach Road, and it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. The coastal views are very nice at GZ. Now to drive to the end of Spoon Rocks Road to access more of the "Two Beaches" cache trail. TFTC colleda.Find #6534
Out for a day at the caves so decided to do a few walk long trail things to placing
Checked today. Took a while for me to find as a previous finder rehid it TOO well. It was onlly about 40cm from where it should have been but in a spot really hard to see it.
Had a good look around for 10’ to no avail. Someone has been cutting the grass around GZ so maybe it’s been ditched?
(1 of 8 today)
Headed up to Caves Beach today (did the car say it was 36 degrees) to pick up more of the caches on the southern headland.
Unfortunately a few of the caches here are AWOL - but I left one or two others to make a return trip worthwhile.
Got eight out of ten attempts - could have been better, but my calendar finds are happy!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Well, the CO says this is still here so...
Parked close and headed there.
Once I ignored the obvious I spotted the obvious.
Simple really.
Completed signing duties and replaced.
Onwards!

There was quite a nice area under an overhanging bush with a rock near the base but no sign of the geocache here.
Quick find with lilmissy while out and injoying the beautiful weather. Logged and replaced as found. TFTC
Spent a good 20 minutes searching the bush thought about the hint and found it! Good hide!
This one puzzled me a lot, Saw that lots of people hadn't found it but that Colleda kept checking and saying it was there. But damned if we cold find it either. Checked the hint and couldn't even find what the hint said. Oh well onto the next one,
No luck for us today after a quick look. Will check again next time we're in the area. Thanks!
With a little bit of searching we located this one nicely. Loved the coastal walk! We will definitely be returning for another walk along here.
Thank you for the cache journey!

Fearing this and #2 may have been targeted, I checked it today and all is good. Cache is still there.
Saw where this hinted at but a second look on the way back failed to locate the cache.
I did another check on this one today as other muggled caches in this series had cache remnants scattrered about but still fiund nothing.
Looked around for this cache twice. We were not able to find it. We think it is missing.
I have added a FP to this cache as a reward for the whole series. I will also add individual ones to others that are above and beyond the normal. Thanks Colleda for this series and the connecting one, Ridge Trail.
I did both in one go and was somewhat stuffed at the end, then again I am 69 and haven't done this much walking since I walked the Great North Walk back in Sept 2018. All in all it took me 4h 15m. Of cause it could have been shorter if I had found the caches quicker!

Took a little while longer than we thought after some lazy looking while dodging muggles. Got down in a quiet time and made things easier. TFTC!
Found on a lovely sunny walk - potential to be a muggled area. Beautiful beach nearby. A bit of rubbish around nearby but otherwise sneaky but visible cache. TFTC.
Cacheing day today. Son #2 has a game of Football tomorrow, so Saturday it is. Gary said we could expect some light showers early, and on the drive over here, looked like driving into a wild storm. Thankfully, it was heading north east, as i was. On the trail at 7, bit nippy round the ears. Seeing i parked just there, it was only a short stroll to gz. A few walkers out and about, but i safely grabbed the cache, signed the log, returned safely before any one else turned up. I did this trail in its first guise, but some of these hides are different, some the same, so lets go. TFTC and trail, with all containers and log books in good condition. Every container, bar the micro, has its own working pen.
We were pumped and ready for this series and were happy this cache was were it said it was

Headed out with Naterater10 and our muggle cousins to burn some energy and knock over this series. Previous logs indicated this may be a little tricky to find, but after a short search we had the prize in hand. TFTC
My first of the series. Dropped offed a trackable and picked one up. Glorious day in a glorious place. TFTC!
Yay! Went back to have another look, got into the praying position, and - hey presto! - there it was. Managed to find the prize, but didn't manage to find the white rock. This visit was great - reminded us of the fun we had doing the whole circuit, and we completed some of the tracks again, just for fun! Lovely day today, warm in the sun, possibly the last warm day before the cool front arrives ... TFTC!
Checked today. It's still there in slightly less than the 'obvious' spot. I estimate that some searchers would have been standing less than a metre from it. The little white rock is still there too.
Have been on this walk many times before, although not for a while now. It was pretty then, and it is pretty now. We started after fairly heavy rain, so there was a fair amount of mud around - nice to see after a couple of very dry years.
Like the previous cacher, we had a good look around, but could not find the prize.

Decided to get out of the house today and go for a walk. It was overcast this morning but by lunch time the sun was out. I’ve wanted to get this series started for a while and today seemed as good a day as any.
Waited out some muggles, enjoyed the views and tried my best to avoid the dog poo.
Container in good condition. Log book dry. Replaced as found. Dropped off the Husky TB to continue its travels. TFTCSL Thanks for placing colleda

Today we are walking the area completing the Two Beaches and Ridge Fire trail series. Trying to start early before it gets too hot this was a good start with not too many muggles. TFTC
After some GPS issues we revisited this one and made the find between streams of muggles. TFTC
Dropping the kids off at the parents i made a quick stop here to get another cache for the 3, 2, 1 souvenir. A quick find due to good coordinates. Will have to go for a walk to get the rest of the series. TFTC
A warm day do we decided to catch up on as much Christmas shopping as my brain would allow and as the sun started to fade we headed south to grab a few caches. We didn’t get them all as we ran out of light (and had an angry teething baby) but we got most of them. Have walked down here quite a few times now and it’s good every time.
This was a tricky find despite the coords being pretty much spot on. Just had to look harder into the lomandra. I hate that stuff! TNLN TFTC

We enjoyed a walk through here a couple of years ago, so were pleased to see the series re-release, which we'll come back for a good day walk before too long. Today we were here to fill a date-found grid square, so it was a flying visit after a kids party.
I followed the GPS, got nowhere, checked other spots, then followed the GPS more carefully, and spotted the hide in the shadows. Coordinates read 2m at GZ for us today, very good.... TFTC colleda
