Logs
Out and about caching while travelling around South Island, from Australia. Found this cache and signed the log. TFTC
Today's trip takes us from Ashburton to Christchurch via Springfield! A variety of caches visited as well as ALs. Many thanks to the COs for placing these caches.
We kept on discovering things about this town, best of all the great accommodation we had in an old historic hostel.Visited the graveyard which was quite populated today.Cache signed and replaced, thanks gracie7 + Mum
Found with MummyPenny after an overnight stay in this charming town. Thanks gracie7 + Mum.
Today marks 6 years married to ThatDarnBear, and two of the older GeoKids volunteered to take UnicornLex on a Sister's Outing. So naturally, what do we do? We make a beeline out the door for an afternoon of Mad Caching !!Happy anniversary ThatDarnBear TFTC
GeoHubby (Slotheryn) and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary, and what better way to spend time together than go Geocaching. Springfield was our target today as there is a nice wee Letterbox cache for the Take a Stamp Thursday challenge, which I hope to sign at the Mega in Dunedin. We grabbed as many other caches as we could in the area, this being one.A quick find here. Thanks for the cache.
TFTC Found with andyfreya. Oh, look what it is, lol. Appreciate the location.
Old friend had lost a lot of weight since last seeing him. Appropriate hide for location tftc
Great cache! Like the others, almost gave up as we went too far up the bank. Then found him
Not sure how we missed this earlier but drove back to grab it. A lovely cache to finish on and really happy to give it a fave point!
Today we are on the way to do some AFB cache checks and everything finally lined up for our visit here to check on this one.We specifically wanted to check the coordinates as a log stated they were out 40 feet. We quickly spotted the cache very exposed but where it should be. (actually we got 0m at GZ) All good here. Happy Caching
Visited and payed respect. Didnt have pen, so we took picture to prove. Thank you from the Czech Republic!

Climbed needlessly up to bank to our GZ. Nothing up there so made our way down again searching all the way. Finally found over 40 feet out TFTC and greetings from the UK
Et in arcadia ego. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 2500
After spending a rather sleepless windy and rainy night at Klondike Corner we ummed and arred about what to do today. We decided we would carry on with plan A for the day and find a few caches as we made our way to Christchurch. We wandered over to have a look for this one, old friend was peeking out of the hiding space as we approached so we knew we were at the right spot. GK signed the log and returned it with more camo so that it could not be seen by anyone walking by.Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley
This weekend I decided to attend a caravan rally in Springfield.Another caravaner (and two cachers, SteveT10 and Godwits), and I walked along the road to this cache from the caravan park.Cheers for the cache, gracie7 + Mum.
Could see that one from about 10 metres. Cool container. Added another cone to disguise it more
When I saw the title I knew just where we were going to visit. I could see the cache and quickly reached the cool container. Ooh spookey!
Quickly located as had rolled down the hill. Signed log and replaced as per hint. Tftc
Quickly located on my way up the hill we replaced where wextheought it should go as per hint covered in pinecones

We had spotted a few other North Islanders make a personal 24hr find record so we took note of the general caches found and made a plan to try our luck, our previous best was 172, our aim was "more than Yeti", check out GC6PRMW once we have logged them all to see how we did...
Great one to do just after midnight haha.

After caching between Christchurch and Springfield yesterday, today, I started caching in and around Springfield and then found a few more on my way back to Christchurch. Not sure about old friend but I am pretty sure this is one of Skelly's rellies. TFTC, Biggles.
A bit of a side trip after visiting the Sheffield Show (even though we are going past here tomorrow...). Loved the little character, but as he was out in the open, covered it back up as per the hint. Cheers
I really hate an "I put it back where it should be" log. REALLY? Were you there when the CO placed it? Did you put it somewhere that fits the hint or did you decide it should be shoulder height, not GL?
No joy for me here. You can probably tell.

We arrived to find two Ladies sitting closeby and we asked Did they know about Geocaching and phew yay they did.Found it quickly and waved them goodby..TFTH
Just a random check on this one while we were passing. Its been nearly 2years since we placed it here and the cache looks like it couldve been placed yesterday. All good here. Happy Caching
Interesting place. Had trouble recovering cache properly as items kept rolling away so covered it in a more substantial item. Tftc
We were heading to Castle Hill with evilC with a little detour for extra caches... Short walk and a quick find of the interesting outer container. TFTC!!
On a Geotour trip for the week.
All GT caches found for the day. Now to get the numbers ticking over before checking in to the Springfield motel. A fun container. He was out in the open watching me walk up. Not quite so obvious now. TFTC

A bit of a search here today but then had that aha moment and it was found! Love the container TFTC
Quiet in here this afternoon. The short path between the church and the graveyard is rather nice. But the roses in the neighbors are just spectacular.
stopped in to get this one while on our way back from a trip up to Castle Hill
Fun cache
Thanks Gracie and Mum

SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on the many wet or plastic logs)
*We soon had another good cache located!*
Nice walk through the cemetery.
