Here with previous finders who made the ascent and confirmed the cache is missing.
Having dropped my van off for some work in Belconnen, I decided that a walk was in order. I chose to go to Harcourt hill. First to the Challenges and a puzzle solve, and then on a second jaunt with the pole for a trig and a tree. Let me just say that the tree was the hardest of the day. Lots and lots of very long grass, despite a few cows lounging under trees. They need to work harder.
It seems I was not prepared for what was required here. I had thought I might be able to see it, but I could not, so will have to return with a ladder to get up and check inside.
Thanks.

Moved on after finding suspicious packet where a cache may have been (see pic) ...
on reading logs we ought have looked elsewhere !

Nibletricecakes and I headed up this hill for our exercise today. We spotted the container but had not brought a TOTT for retrieval. We moved on to collect some clues for a multi. On our way back we noticed a family group behaving very geocacher like at GZ. It was lovely to meet The Tribe and thanks to them for retrieving the container. The log is very full so I added our names in a few gaps. TFTC
Gotcha thanks to the _The_Tribes_ !! A very sneaky little cache. GLISS! and I came by to scout this one out and soon spotted the cache, working out our plan for future retrieval. After sorting out the nearby multi waypoint we were surprised to discover other keen punters exploring GZ. Thankfully they had just the TOTT’s we needed and by teaming up we soon had the cache in hand. Such a lovely bonus to the afternoon. Thanks for the cache!
It was great fun, we bumped into other geocachers who were willing to let us borrow their pen thankfully. My son did all the hard work.
Great find thanks
Great find thanks
OOPS, just realised that I haven't logged this yet. I was there with Kittykatch, Joolay and Cosmonaut97 and helped with the TOTT. I think I was too busy logging the Trig with GA that I forgot to write a find log for this.
Great views though very windy.

Great to find this cache after picking up a few other caches on the hill today. Nice little hide we managed to grab with the use of a TOTT.

Found during our hiking group's antics today. Great location and a great hide. Ready for a mulled wine - very numb body TFTC.
We did a few others on the hill before retrieving the relevant TOTT from the car so we could reach it. Could see it but too high. Cold and chilly but now off to the car to warm up.

I couldn’t believe my luck this afternoon, or lack thereof. Parked down opposite KFC and made my ascent towards the GZ.
As I made my final approach spotted a random just out for a casual stroll with his bub in a papoose hovering where I needed to be.
Found myself a spot to sit and played a few phone games while hoping to outlast the intruder. After about 10 minutes he finally wandered off and I moved in.
Looked in a few spots before making the find. Made a few checks of my surroundings during retrieval, signing and replacement before moving on.
I enjoyed the hide. Simple yet effective. A Fav from me. Cheers!
FYI 4 log spaces remaining.

This weekend from 17-21/06/2021, I joined georode and gridge98 in visiting our nation's capital, Canberra for geocaching adventures. We prioritised the higher difficulty-terrain combinations, as well as the more special/unique cache types.
On Thursday, I largely spent the day solo and visited Black Hill lookout, the Botanic Gardens, Australian National University and nearby Canberra Central, and then gridge98 and I walked around the front of Parliament area in Parkes.
Friday was spent completing a few hikes in Goorooyarroo Nature Reserve and Kowen Escarpment Nature Reserve, before then meeting locals at a Friday evening dinner event.
Saturday was predominantly the UFO series in Bullen Range Conservation Reserve, targeting the higher terrain ridge area.
On Sunday, we arose to the morning's CITO event, before returning to Goorooyarroo Reserve for more walking around those hills.
Finally on Monday, gridge98 and I headed north to Yass for the Birds of Australia Wherigo series, a few climbing caches, and returning to ACT completing the UGC series.
Today, we commenced the day with a CITO and short walk around the area. Following this, we continued the L-Plate and P-plate series by returning to Goorooyarroo Reserve walking a further 15 km. After lunch, we stayed around Canberra's northern suburbs, visiting Amaroo, Crace, Hall, Moncrieff, Nicolls, and Taylor, collecting various adventure caches that involved tree climbing, and other TOTT tree fishing and ladders.
We made the ascent up to this hill and marker, and had a brief search before realising where it probably was given the terrain rating. A tough cache to grab without a TOTT, but with some teamwork, we managed to snag it, only to then drop it. Another search on the ground that took just as long as our initial search, before finally making the cache find to sign. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Delta Response Team for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Bloody nanos
This afternoon we headed around collecting targets in the northern suburbs
This weekend I headed to Canberra with Davidwazza and Georode after being asked a month or so ago if I would like to join them for 4 days, planning occurred and a list of 110 targets were chosen consisting of DTs, oldies and special cache types.
Day 1, I arrived in the evening and headed out with David Wazza for a few hours before georodes arrival, we headed to capital hill to find some random caches in the freezing cold.
Day 2, we set off early in the morning for a half day hike around Goorooyarro Park collecting all the puzzles and a few trads in the area, after lunch we had walked 17km for the morning, off we headed to kowen forest for some of the CBR wherigos, half way around it started to pour so called it early and thought doing the drive bys in the series would be a much better idea, in the evening we went to an event and was great to meet a few locals.
Day 3, we set off before the sun had risen for the main target of the day, the UFO series, with so many in the series we focused on the ones along the fire trail and a few in the paddocks, despite being buggered we walked another 18km for the day, in the afternoon we targeted some of our target list in the southern area
Day 4, after a morning CITO we headed back to Goorooyarra Park to complete the remaining caches in the area and finish the L and P plate series, another walk completed over 15km for the trip, in the afternoon we drove around the northern suburbs collecting caches off our target list
Day 5, after dropping georode off at the airport, davidwazza and I headed to Yass for the birds of Australia series and a few of the challenges in the area, after completing the caches we headed back to Canberra past a few caches before attacking the entire UGC series, being tight for time the trip wouldn’t have been complete without going to the Canberra nature park to collect the oldest caches
Total of 356 caches plus a few labs along the way,
Thanks for the caches and their placements

Finally decided to come back and do this one. After reading the description, and size, last time I was looking for the completely wrong thing. TFTC
Found while being harassed by 100s of mozzies signed as AP&SS due to available space in the log and a dodgy pen. Tftc
Came back for this one after a previous dnf, happy to report it was there this time! TFTC
Find 234 for the tribe.
In the area collecting a purchase from marketplace and so of course checked which caches were nearby. This one looked good and I was not disappointed!
Parked in the closest side street and made my way up the hill to GZ. Spectacular 360 degree views. I can remember when Harcourt Hill was the #1 new estate in the area but doubt I've ever been up it until today.
Terrain rating was entirely appropriate! I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Signed log as BAT and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache!

I was in the area doing a bit of tree fishing and decided to check this one out. I spotted it soon enough and set about to grab it without any monkey business. Luckily I had the right tools on hand to get it signed and returned. TFTH
What an evil cache, probably shouldn't be done alone, but here I was, not wanting to talk away from it. The log was difficult to write on - for a number of reasons - so signed as "FC"

After our tree fishing misadventure we decided to just head to the Trig Point. I thought to check my map to see if there was anything in the area and well what did you know! Luckily I had a couple of monkeys with me and we managed to retrieve, sign and replace. An extra bit of bonus fun.
Sad to say this is a dnf, possible has been removed as we found a sign discouraging the spread of rubbish
A lovely 1.27km hobble-walk to pick up a couple of caches in one hour. The grass is so long, coming from the suburb side, it hides plenty of rocks and boulders with ascent/descent of just 54m. Great views from up here today. With so much long grass we were lost as to where to start. We sat down at GZ and suddenly spied the little blighter. Now to retrieve. Fortunately one of us had to good legs and the deed was done for a quick and easy retrieve. TFTC Delta Response Team.
Made this one a little harder than I had to. I suppose that easily happens when you assume you know where a cache is going to be! TFTC!
This one was fun. We spotted it from the ground and took a few attempts to retrieve. Once we managed to get it, it was signed quick and returned to our big kid at heart who placed it back carefully. Tftc.
Today, I wanted to go for a run, but I wanted to cache
Why not both?
So I ran from home up to the top of Harcourt Hill, looked up, spied the cache.
I searched further afield for a TOTT, and found one, that could do the job, easily enough.
Cache was being retrieved, and then it it fell, hit my hand, bounced into the grass.. aaaaaaaand it was lost.. for a few minutes anyway.
Finally found it. Signed, used my TOTT to put it back, and then ran back home
Wasn't my fastest run, but can thank Work and the Weather for that one.

TFTC read the previous logs and came prepared for a quick easy find. Great views!
Found ok. Without a specific TOTT loki did the impersonation and retrieved the prize. This all happened after the geohound discovered she doesn't do stiles. TFTC
Nice cache.
I always like climbing these and currently was climbing this one when Fred told me there was a cache here. Quick find with a great view.

Great caching day out with Trodectus, Coybear2000, Goldenwattle and Decrypter. Been eying this one for a while and made our way up to the top of the hill where our septuagenarian climber made short work of the recovery, while the rest of the team offered him encouragement. TFTC Delta Response Team.
Done with [@trodectus](http://coord.info/PR8JTE0), goldenwattle, decrypter and binliner. Parked nearby and after everyone arrived, we headed to GZ. Decrypter had bought a light weight ladder, which was used to help access the cache. Log signed and returned.
Found with [@Decrypter](http://coord.info/PR75QXD), [@coybear2000](http://coord.info/PR9547H), [@Goldenwattle](http://coord.info/PR70JXN) and Binliner. D and I had looked at this one some time ago, had spotted the hide and had decided that a TOTT was needed. So we discussed with the others and found a suitable day for all to join us, i.e. today. We arrived at GZ and D did the honours of climbing and retrieving the cache. Log signed and all replaced and we spent a bit of time looking at other TOTTs for some further caches before heading off. TFTC.
Trodectus organised the caches we were to find today. When I arrived he and fellow geocachers, decrypter, binliner and coybear2000 were already at the top of the hill, so I went over the stile and walked up the hill to join them. A tool had been brought to assist with cache retrieval.
Great views from here. I have only just returned from several weeks away, and before I left it was smoky, so I got great joy looking at the views seen through clean air. The colours were so bright and crisp, especially the green grass after heavy recent rain.
Then it was onto the next cache.

20,181. Found while caching with minniek today before this afternoon's CITO.
We headed into Canberra today to attend the CITO but with plenty of time for other caches. We targeted Mt Stromlo to clean it out again. After that we headed north around in a loop. I haven't been up this particular hill in a long time ! With the use of a handy TOTT we made the grab, signed the little sucker, and replaced it.
Thanks DRT !! Cool cache !

Out and about in Canberra with fitzy_1965. Our target was TE caches but we ended up with only three.
TE caches out of the way, we headed northside on our way to this afternoon's CITO in Gungahlin.
Last stop before the CITO, we trekked up to GZ and then started looking, eventually spotted it. Used a TOTT to retrieve and to return once signed.

Found with Fox in Jox, AngelG27, TikvaNZ, Flintstone’s, Gozanators and sebass19 after the palindrome date CITO and before the palindrome date event. FIJ very kindly drove me and sebass19 from the event site to here, where we all met down the bottom of the hill to attempt this very cool sounding cache. Worked our way up to GZ where it was soon determined what had to be done; and soon enough, the cache was in hand. An awesome hide; in a beautiful area with wonderful views of Canberra - unfortunately though, that included some depressing views of the Namadgi fires. As we were going back down the hill though, it started the rain which was very surprisng indeed! TFTC DRT!
When AngelG27 mentioned at the CITO that her, TikvaNZ and Fox in Jox wanted to do this one on the hill I was all up for it. I had visited here about a week after it was found back in September. With leg still in boot at the time there was no way to do any climbing but admittedly I didn't even spot it in the fading light that day. Happy to return and glad that FiJ did the honors of getting to the cache and replacing it. I will need to come back some time with Dino (when I have solved the strange multi atop) he will enjoy this cache. Thank you DRT for the interesting hide. This mightn't have been last of such hide, we maybe should all start practicing And thanks AngelG27 for driving us.
Group assault after the CITO. Fox in Jox spotted and grabbed the cache and everyone signed. I rolled the logbook up, so that's gotta count for something, surely!
Smokey views to the South, started to rain just as the cache was replaced.

After this afternoon's CITO, a bunch of us wanderred up here to tick off this cache. Fox in Jox quickly shimmied up and grabbed the cache I had previously spotted from the ground. Great views today of the not so great fires to the south of Canberra. Just as we completed the signing duties it rained. Yay. Back to the cars, and on to this evening's event. TFTC.

I've been meaning to get this one for a while - a good DT combo that's not common. So, after the CITO, a number of us bundled in geomobiles and made our way to a parking spot nearby. Thankfully the weather had settled from mid/high 30s. Soon at GZ, I did the honours to collect the little sucker. We all had a look at the smoke from bushfires in Namadgi - covered quite a few degrees on the horizon!! TFTC DRT
Cache 5700 on 2 Feb 2020.
After the nearby CITO event, Fox, TikvaNZ and a few others decided there was time to grab this cache before the dinner event, so we made a dash to park near GZ and then make the short walk to GZ. Fox did the leap up for the retrieval and we all signed the log, before dashing down hill to escape the few rain drops that fell just as the cache was replaced!
Thanks Delta Response Team for the cache and the fun!

**This Cache:**
My first cache of the day! Parked at the bottom, had a quick walk up, and then spotted the tiny little bugger from the ground. Yup definitely a T4 rating which I think is fairly accurate, as it is a decent chin-up to reach the cache which could be hard for some. Teamwork may help!
Managed to grab the cache, my pen wasn't playing nice however so my signature is a little scrappy but still legible
Thanks DRT

**Today:**
Haven't cached in the ACT for a while now, which is a bit sad considering how much I cleared it out in the past two years! Have just been super busy with two jobs and resting out of the heat whenever I have a chance! Today however I had no excuse, had the whole morning free and it was a beautiful day between 15 - 20 degrees, some high winds but keeping off the hills helped!
Just did a bunch of new caches in the Belconnen area that have popped up in the last couple months since I did a sweep, and was happy to pick up 11 for the morning.

Chooo ooo Found it! Sneaky little hide that one! And I was surprised to be accompanied by a bunch of sheep! But they promised not to tell anyone about the hide! Thanks DRT.
Quickly worked this one out, still took a few minutes before cache was in hand. Windy up here regularly no doubt, take care, many rocks and stones to trip over. TNLNSL TFTC
I stopped off after work and wandered about the attractive hill. But to no avail. I can't blame wayward coordinates or anything else - it was just too good for me
What a difference a day makes. With the updated coordinates, I went back. DARKSIDEDAN. was with me, and together we made the find, using teamwork.
I'm very happy to avenge a DNF less than 24 hours after the DNF. I'm a little sad that I missed out on the ftf yesterday, but there's no time machine available to change that.
Thanks for a sneaky, challenging cache.

Went after the nearby multi after not finding this one initially. Failed to find it too (due to a wrong trivia answer). On the way back, discovered Aquilus1 and dty73 hunting for the cache with the CO watching on. Full log later.
Saw this one released this morning so off I went, was excited and then looking around for about 15 mins and no luck now a sad face. Then i saw the other 2 DNF's wished I read logs before going out
