i always worry when seeing how far from the ground a cache is, this one was well within my reach, the sky wants to fall but isn't yet, tftc
I have shifted my snail shell to Taieri Mouth. I have never visited here before. I decided to travel north picking up the caches on the way.No rain yet today, so the sky isn't falling yet.Cheers for the cache, Natalie247.
Outnabout with Chamad, Snickersallan, Ardom & Bluewattle on my first ever trip across the ditch. Log signed as QLD+1 to save some space. After a week of caching around Brisbane and at events last month with other Geo friends, I couldnt pass up the opportunity to hop on board for a NZ Mega adventure. Another great day for caching. TFTC Natalie247

Cesta je fakt moc pkn a myslm, e ped i tu slavnou australskou Great Ocean Road. Today I drove from Dunedin to Invercargill and chose the Southern Scenic Road. And I did well. Beautiful landscape and lots of attractions around. The morning was beautiful, then showers and strong winds came, but I still went on three shorter walks to the lighthouse, to the waterfall and on the beach to the petrified trees. I found 20 caches on the way and I really enjoyed the day. Thanks to everyone for their caches and greetings from the Czech Republic.
Looked for this one 2 years ago and didn't log as DNF because we were sure we were just missing something. Got it today though, thanks for the chirpy placement
Not quite hanging ... but what a cute cache! Thanks to JH for eagle eyes and height. Tftc
Spotted this one reasonably quickly, no problems here. Second find of the day for us.
writing a note rather than a DNF. I couldn't spot the cache so after a circumnavigation I decided to move on.
We looked for ages but we just couldn't see it. We hate to give up but sometimes you just have to.
Out in the dark and with wet grass it was an interesting evening. Cached my way south along the coast until I was ready for bed.
Some of these were quick finds and others took a while. Such is the joy of caching by torchlight.

Came for a nosey over the hill after doing a few airplane puzzles. Was fun to see a much nicer Brighton than our Christchurch one. Cute cache thaanks Natalie247.
We don't want to do geocaching today, but we observed Sunflowers26 and CJ-Curry at the carpark not far away from the cache site. They felt unobserved. And we thought there must be a cache nearby. And it was this one, and both were here already.

Sunflowers26 had not been far in this direction before, and I needed a caching day, so I decided to take her out on a voyage down the coast. An amazing day was had by the pair of us, for a number of different reasons. Definitely a fun little P&G - quite enjoyed it given the location and the name of the cache! A good easy one to keep our momentum going. Cheers!
Greetings from the Czech Republic and Thanks For This Cache.

A fun find for Mr C while I suggested find spots from the car. Unfortunately not the most pleasant smell, thankfully couldn’t see the cause! TFTC
We stopped here on our way from Lawrence to Dunedin. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good, so we limited it to a park and grab. Not the sky, but rain was falling.
Thank you for the cache

#21998. Would have been easier to pull in heading south, but we had been keen to make sure we got an FTF, so left this one for the way back. Soon spotted the type of critter we were expecting based on the title of the cache. Nicely done. TFTC.
Left this find for the way back to Dunedin. We circled the obvious object and StreetWalkerNZ laid eyes on the cute wee cache first. TFTC.
Home in New Zealand for the first time in 4 years. Great to use a few cache finds to slow the journey and increase the enjoyment of a long overdue return. TFTC.
Out for a little drive, trying to limit time spent outside the car! The sky was falling for sure today, in numerous small droplets, luckily, with some breaks in between. But the wind... TFTC!!
What a neat spot with some lovely views.
Found the cute little fellow very quickly.
Thanks for putting it here for us to find

Cache 894 Hey Wombats_4 do you want to do an Easter cache trip? Yes was the reply so after choosing the best possible weather day we decided a trip up to Dunedin and back to nab some caches for the first Signals Labyrinth was the go, so we hit the road around 8am with the goal of a FTF in Balclutha with that achieved it was trads, puzzles and letterboxes all day and what a great day we had.
Round and round the tree I go where I stop no one knows luckily it was right in the right spot nice little warm spot for this little fella, in good condition T4TC

Quick park and find on our way home from our Sunday drive. Found with Conbat. TFTC!
I was little chick's first visitor for the year. Had to talk nicely for her to come and and see me. Fav point given.
Arrived in Dunedin for a few days as one of the kids has their final exhibition for their degree. Flew in and picked up a hire car. Decided to take the scenic route into Dunedin via Taieri Mouth. This was one of 18 caches found this afternoon with a couple of DNF. Quick stop here. Realised I missed what’s “across the road” but didn’t miss the smiley. Cache and log all fine. Thanks Natalie.
Had time today while on my way to look after Dunedin Grandies for a couple of days to grab a couple of caches on my trip through.
Quick find today. Thanks Natalie247 for placing and maintaining

It is strongly recommend that whilst we go for a walk for exercise, we need to take care on shared surfaces and geocaching should not be done at this time; https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/New+Zealand
To remove temptation, I am disabling this cache and ask kindly that you do not find this cache during lockdown.
Remember there is more than physically finding a cache, there are plenty of puzzle caches you can do at home. Or if you live near a multi you can walk the trail and save the find for another day. For more info or connect with wider community see Geocaching New Zealand on Facebook.

After walking on the beach with my four legged companion grabbed this to fill a dot day. A beautiful afternoon to be out and about. Tftc
Nice easy find that fitted what we saw across the road and our plans for a beach walk. TFTC

A certain fairytale came to mind as soon as I read the title so I had an inkling of what we would find. There is certainly a variety of things left in the vicinity of the caches we are finding along this road today. Whilst the last couple of caches have had unsavory things, this one had a children's book and one bigfoot slipper left behind. I wonder want happened when they got to their destination and found out they had lost them. Anyway, cache found and signed off. tftc
We (Mrs KC and I) took advantage of the good weather to e-bike to Brighton (stopped for a coffee) and then on towards Taieri Mouth. I missed a few, and then decided that I would go for the next one that came up.
Easy find, and nice tie-in to the farm across the road.

We heard there was a 1pm Covid announcement coming up for the first time in ages, and we wondered if the sky was going to fall again.... but not today. Found this one with Debsnz on a second look. Thanks Natalie.
Spotted a likely hiding place as we approached but once up close we realised that there are lots of nooks and crannies that a cache could hide in. Found with Spoonz2
A quick find today while we were travelling down the coast on the way home. TFTC [^]

I love coastal caches, any excuse to stop and admire the sea is ok in my book. Nice quick find. TFTC
