Didn't think I'd find this, but I did. Not sure if it was in the right place but I've returned where found.TFTC
Wayn0 and I were out finding caches in Casino that could be used in the Geocaching Australia GeosportZ challenge. One of the challenges was for Football. We happened to turn up to look for this cache just at the end of a football match. The requirement for this challenge was to find a cache within 100 meteres of a sports ground. We found one actually within a sports ground. And it's name is Sports Fields! How perfect was that! haha.Clever little hide. We searched for a little bit then I suddenly noticed something, wrapped my fingers around it, and BINGO! Thanks.
During the search for this geocache I identified as a male so of course looked straight at the cache and couldnt see it. Luckily NTM was with me. Thanks for the cache. Cheers
With the motorhome into the countryside of NSW.Our destination was a cycle tour along the new Northern Rivers Rail Trail. We parked our motorhome in Bentley Car Park and then cycled along the Northern Rivers Rail Trail to Casino and back. On the way we had a lot of fun with the interesting signs, the great nature, the adventure caches and all the other caches.Afterwards we searched for many more caches in Casino. Thanks to all owners for showing us the interesting locationssayTeam sissifalkeThe first in the new logbook
Coordinates changed from:S 28 51.995 E 153 3.312Coordinates changed to:S 28 52.010 E 153 3.311Distance from original: 91.4 feet or 27.9 meters.Had just relocated this one and now the structure has been removed and I've had to move again, and its not impossible it could happen again ,so much work going on at this park.
Coordinates changed from:S 28 52.000 E 153 3.312Coordinates changed to:S 28 51.995 E 153 3.312Distance from original: 30.5 feet or 9.3 meters. The original location it kept going missing as it was today and also was a wet location, the new location should stay dry and always be there hopefully.
Stopped in here to shelter while having a bite to eat. There's some good sporting facilities for the locals here, and the dish lickers across the way look happy too. After having a munch and messing about with my phone killing time, I saw that there was a cache only a few metres away, so as i could tell where it likely was I wandered over without my phone out and soon noticed a likely hiding spot. Well I found the stash, but she was floating in a couple inches of water, and had anout an inch inside the box too. I emptied it out but I can't see the wee bugger not filling back up almost immediately given the state of the hiding spot and the weather lately. This one will require a bit of owner attention... at least a waterproof log My thanks go to the cache owner Fergclan for hiding one here, -- This log is trackable ! ---- Feel free to discover ---- Please mention, in which cache you've seen this code: ---- 3TABQX --
Where I thought it would be was just water. I looked a stick around and it went down a good 8"couldn't feel anything and my camera couldn't pick anything up except water
With Geo family visiting I decided I wanted to check out Casino and Kyogle so a route was set and off we went.absolutely great day for caching as it was overcast and sometimes drizzling.Thought we could catch a few in the one area but when we got here it was raining a bit harder so we headed for this one due to its location. up over in under nothing gave it to us so off we went for the long drive home. leave some for next time
Attempted this one while on a day trip with my geo family, we search all over but unfortunately the rain was a bit to much for us to continue, we did not locate this one but hopefully we can try again next visit
Im pretty sure we were in the right spot, but there was so much debris that turned muddy, we couldn't find it. And there was glass in there while I was trying to scoop the mud out. So we stopped looking.
While staying in Casino for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , we just had to get out and find a few caches in this very beautiful country town ...Bit high for us shortar$3s .. so used a small ladder to help. All Good .. TFTC ..
Found TFTC. Found out and about from Mackay Qld with Barrod.

We had planned a road trip to Queensland to visit family in 2021, but our travel plans were stalled due to border closures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the world was trying to get back to a semi normal state, we decided to have another go at getting away from the cold and head up north for some sunshine and warmth.
Day 18 – On the slow trek home from Mermaid beach to Tenterfield today. We collected a few caches and a couple of labs along our journey today just to break up the trip as well as playing another game along the way.
All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise mentioned.
We replaced the log on this one, the other one was drenched.
Thanks for the hide and keeping this hobby alive Fergclan

Needed one for the date. Found one Renroc hadn’t found - always a challenge- so we set off on a showery morning. Mud, climbing and problem solving achieved the desired objective. Although surrounded by very wet stuff, the log was pretty much ok. TFTC
Well that was an adventure. It was well above our reach so we used what was to hand. Parked the car close and then stood on the car with the door open. One foot on the car one foot elsewhere and then the car door closed on my shin. used a reacher tool and got the cache. A heap of leaf muck ( not mulch but wet soggy to dripping ) came with the container. But the log was relatively dry. Thanks Ferg for the cache
Had a walk bye this one today, the roads a bit chopped up,but the cache is still there and I think we can enable it again.
Just need to disable this one for a while as this is where they are dumping all the rubbish from big flood, will keep an eye on the location.
Heading in to Casino for a few days caching and a game of golf. Managed this one easy enough, glad we had a handy TOTT on board, being vertically challenged.
Been to Dayboro from Cairns to attend the Mega, quick trip to Sth. Australia now turned tail and heading slowly back up north. 4 June 2021 4:51 pm Tyfc Fergclan total caches now 2155 found on ground no container put in Berocca tube and replaced where I think it was to start with.
This weekend, I headed south to NSW to Lismore and Casino on Saturday, followed by Springbrook National Park on the Gold Coast on Sunday, meeting different geocaching groups on both days.
Today, I started finding a few geocaches in Lismore before joining Beardman75 and georode in travelling to Casino. Our focus today was the *Ferg Loves Puzzles* series, and we managed to find a few others in and around the township of Casino, before departing around 15:00 hr back to Lismore. I then took the solo journey to stay the night at Robina, travelling via Goolmangar, Coffee Camp, Nimbin, Blue Knob, Mount Burrell, Uki, and Murwillumbah. A long day out and about!
With the sports fields in full use today, we elected to walk along the drive to this cache. Glad to have seen it recently replaced, and after backtracking after arriving at the nearby structure, we made the quick find in a logical hide. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Fergclan for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

We headed for one target before realising that we should be at another target. We headed over there and made a quick find. Thanks for the cache
This the last cache I have found today on my walk around the park. The sun is starting to set so it is a good time to go home. I found the cache nice and easy. I read the hint and was initially looking upwards. Then I read the maintenance note. I almost thought someone had lost their glasses case but it is the cache. Thanks Fergclan for your park series
Checked on this one with a couple of dnfs and it was gone, replaced it at a different spot as the original was a puddle of water, will be easy for a geocacher to spot.
no luck here today
i was pretty sure i had the right spot, even checked out a few buildings close by but nothing came up. next time

First of three days around the Casino-Lismore area, here for an Event on Saturday night. It is great to be back in the area, and it is still a green as what I ever remember it being!
There are six in our traveling convoy: in addition to myself there is hatzofff, Grannysmith1947, Snickersallan, Patrol14 and TMZ59.
Got into trouble here because Snickersallan and I didn't tell the others we had found it. Cheeky, hay!
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 1.05pm on 12/02/2021. TFTC, Fergclan.

Our last day in Casino this time around, out on the bike for some much needed exercise. A cool start to the day, but ended up quite warm. No DNF's today so a bonus.

Out geocaching today with Wandering Me. Another great find. Thanks for hiding this cache for our enjoyment Fergclan
Finding the cache was too easy.
The real difficulty was navigating over the river to ground zero, since the footbridge in the park was closed.
Also, the log book was too wet to write in.
