Found the same holder as last finder. Looks like local kids are using this spot as a drug den as lots of home made bongs and other paraphernalia on the ground at GZ. Needs a bit of TLC from CO. TFTC

Happy Boxing Day CoxFamily7310
Nèeded to fill a blank calendar day so thought I'd revisit this cache after a dnf first time around.
Rocked up to gz, parted a few leaves and voila, I was looking straight at the unique cache.
A big sigh of relief. Cache and log all ok.
Gradually turning my past dnfs into smileys.
Many tftc.....thoroughly enjoyed...cheers ST.

There was a cat waiting for me when i arrived at this one but as soon as i got down to greet it on bended knee it took off [:o] Scaredy Cat!

I was looking at that suggested height of 1.6m off the ground but after about 3 orbits do you think i could spot it? [B)]
It was only when i became 'Hands On' i exposed it.

{Kudos to the person whom left that long thin metal object resembling a bicycle spoke as it assisted perfectly when extracting the wee-baggy in the cache that was shunted to the far end of it when i attempted to remove it Big Grin lol}

SL of it at 11:40 on Wednesday 24 November 2021.

The Cache and contents are doing just fine Wink

Today we are in the Devonport area and our geocaching aims are to collect as many outstanding caches as practical and to also collect the local Adventure Labs. It is a beautiful spring day, a crisp 16 degrees and the sun is shining. We think this is the first time we have geocached in the last several months without needing a rain coat or an umbrella, how joyful.

Another nice little park reserve in the Devonport area and one of the great things about geocaching is having a good excuse to visit them. With it being spring time all the plant life is growing like crazy . In this instance it made the cache a little more difficult to find but it could have been much worse. The most difficult thing was being reminded that I had still not replaced my tweezers since loosing them a couple of months ago. They would have really been useful for this cache. Note to self to buy new ones. So very happy to finally retrieve this cache and log. TFTC

The weather today was a bit hit and miss and hard to predict. Lady membsec wasn’t feeling very well and tried coffee and even food to see if that would help but it didn’t so we had a choice of staying in the car and wait until we could get into our accommodation or continue to battle on with geocaching. At least geocaching was keeping her mind off being unwell .

Took awhile to find as we were looking too high! Lovely looking container, so happy we persisted!

A Day off and Geo Kid E's exams are over so it was decided to have a go at the caches around Devonport that had sprung up since the last time we were there - and so many there were.

So we set off at 6 am and returned at 10.15 pm pretty exhausted. The trip included 67 finds and 5 DNF's and about 8 hours driving time.

We were preparing to head westwards to meet Sharnie's Tribe for lunch when these caches were published. We just had time to download them into our GPS units before heading off. After a very enjoyable lunch and chat, we headed back towards Devonport to look for some of these newly published caches.

Despite reasonably accurate coordinates, it took a few minutes of hunting before this well hidden cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. To our delight, the logbook was blank. So we will claim {FTF} at 18:43. Thanks CoxFamily7310 for this cache and the others published today.
