Sadly, a dnf from us today after a long search, still well worth the effort and rewarded with a great view tftc
This is my first ever geocache experience and unfortunately I was not able to find the cache BUT this was a great place. Very smart clue too
Rick on again. Found on a sojourn all around during QOGM 2023 adventure. A fun jaunt with lots of dust, mud and starry skies. Thanks jameskomodo and clear skies from TeamAstro. ?? Cache the planet! Thanks jameskomodo for placing this cache, for bringing me here and contributing to this great game for others to enjoy. Unfortunately I couldnt find it.
A quick drive across town and I was soon checking out the sunrise here.
What a great view it was.
I took a little longer than needed to find the cache.
Worth the find though in the end.

Day five of setting off north with BettyBoo3747 and geodoggies.
The weather in Beechworth has been far too damp and cold for caching!
Today we started in Barellen, drove to Griffith for a few caches, and returned to where we started.
A lovely blue sky, sunny day.
It was a good view of the city, unfortunately we missed the goats.
A very nice hide for the cache too.
Thanks, Robmc.

#21189. Day 5 of our escape into NSW. Another day touring around the area. This time a trip from Barellan to Griffith and back again. Started the day with a DNF and almost ended the day the same way but went on to find one more cache. Managed to find 13 and have 2 DNFs.
Rob had already reached GZ and I was making my way slowly there. I wondered what the noises were behind me and I turned to see a group of birds on the ground and I think they were Apostle Birds. I haven't seen these before.
A very good hide here and I am sure it will remain safe and secure.
Thanks jameskomodo

Found it after doing the nearby Hermit Walk. TFTC TNLN. (Our first cache in a year! Easy start. Thanks!)
After spending the night in Mildura to break up the long drive from SA we came up to check out the views. We weren't disappointed and the cache was a bonus.
It's a great hide too...
Thanks for the cache

Done with Trodectus while driving around Griffith. Parked nearby and walked to GZ. Quickly had CIH after a short search. Log signed and returned. TFTC
Found with Coybear2000 while we were doing a short geo-tour of Griffith. We parked close to GZ and started our search. After a few minutes we found the hide, log signed and all replaced and we headed off for the next one. TFTC.

Together with my son, I am on a camping trip from Sydney to Broken Hill and back. On our 3000 km journey over 11 days we have seen some wonderful little towns, beautiful landscapes and many interesting geocaches.
Driving from Narrendera to Griffith for a bit of sightseeing and of course a few geocaches. A scenic drive and we enjoyed the views over Griffith. The cache was found after a short search. Too bad there is so much rubbish around.

Its starting to warm up here in Griffith, but that won’t stop me venturing out to find some caches! I’ve been here a few too new to admire the view, if only I had checked the caching map earlier I would of seen there was a cache here the whole time!
After spending a while searching in the wrong places I eventually stumbled onto the cleverly hidden cache. Log book signed.
Thank you for the cache!

Out caching with Mrwhiskers76 today after lunch. Upon arrival to GZ we saw a very healthy looking Blue Tongue scurry across the path.
Walking to GZ, we noticed the grass is quite long and cured. Looking around there were a few possible spots for a cache of this size, but where to find it?
Mrwhiskers76 and I both took different approaches from one and other. The search took a little while, and just as I’d gotten an idea of what we are looking for, thanks to the hint and reading past logs. Mrwhiskers made the find. The camo isn’t something I’d seen before, it’s very unique!
We signed the log and replaced as found, adding another smiley to the map in this area.

After a brief overnight stay I spent a couple of hours caching around Griffith before continuing my journey.
Another well crafted container and great views
Thanks jameskomodo

Haha - quick find if you make the right approach! (Abandoned the climb through head high grass from below) Heading south to NE Vic and a higher altitude after attending QOGM at Charleville. Staying overnight in Griffith so of course put a few caches on the agenda. TFTC AND THE FUN
Another quick find for Mrs Shifter while on our tour around Griffith being guided by geocaching.
Thanks for the hide jameskomodo.

Travelling to QOGM 2022 at Charleville, caching along the way.
2 night stopovers on the way based on caches available.
Wasn't sure if we needed to be mountain goats.

With CybergranV, we had to use google to understand the hint. With that in mind, a short fossick brought a positive result, and the log was signed.
Don't you just love how nature uses geocachers to transport seeds to a fresh, fertile area? I've spent quite some time, during this trip, picking seeds and burrs out of my clothes.
Thanks jameskomodo.

Crustyvarmint made the find whilst I minded the geodog Pilot, and I signed the cache since he forgot his pen, but altogether a very successful exercise, with a great view as a bonus.
The next ten minutes was spent removing prickles from our clothes.

We climbed all the way from the bottom accidentally so we got prickelled all the way! Tough find as well and I only found it cause I accidentally stepped on it!

Road trip! At fairly short notice, TikvaNZ, Fox in Jox, ZQX and myself decided to head west from home in the ACT to South Australia this long weekend to tackle some of the On Your Bike wherigo series and other interesting caches along the way. We only have four days, so we are being fairly selective.
Today we head home from Balranald via Griffith to pick up a few more counties and interesting caches. Unless otherwise indicated, all caches found easily in accordance with the hint .
This cache: nice hide and great view!
Thanks jameskomodo for the cache and the fun! Fav point comin at ya!

Another different hide l came across this morning and well worth yet another fave for the work that has gone into it. Great views from up here too! Many thanks jameskomodo for the different type of hide, really enjoying the variety and places of interest you have shown me.
No goats spotted today as I climbed my way up from the soccer fields below. The view up here is spectacular!! I took some pics, looked for the cache, took some more pics... then had a serious look for the cache and finally spotted it! Took a lot longer than it should have to find it. Great spot for a hide. SL and re-hid as found. Tftc.
I was meant to be leaving the town this afternoon after being here 3 months but I realised I still had a few unfound geocaches. So here I am.
Before I even got there I knew basically where I'd find this cache but wasn't expecting this camo. Very cool. Well done.
Great location. Thanks.

I'm on a week long road trip to Orange for an orienteering event with a new caching focus - caches with 5 or more favourite points or a terrain or difficulty rating greater than 2.5. Other caches may be found as 'caches of opportunity' along the way.
This was one of the caches targeted before hitting the road to Orange (and that's a complete story in it's own right). Nice views from here and a nice effort on the camo.
Thanks for the cache jameskomodo.

A nice stop on our journey across the country from Adelaide to Brisbane with Davidwazza! TFTC!
Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled from Hay to Parkes. We travelled east via Griffith, Yenda, Barellan, Ardlethan, and Temora where we stopped for lunch. We then spent the early afternoon completing the two Adventure Labs around the town and lake, and then headed north and north-east via Barmedman, Forbes, and arriving in Parkes in the late evening. Several of NSW's LGAs were visited during our travels today.
This was another awesomely constructed cache that took about five minutes to find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks jameskomodo for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Some more nice views from this location too!
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Yet another unique and creative hide! And once again it was perfectly executed! Everything fit together nicely, and blended in with the surroundings nicely too. I was impressed by the size of the container you have used as well which makes this even better! A great location for a cache too with some good views and lots of parking!
Well done once again, yet another favourite point from me.

Jameskomodo + The_Beccentric, you are an absolute LEGEND in the Australian geocaching community! Griffith was a bit of an empty grid before you surfaced, but now you have really put it on the map with some awesome hides! I really really hope you continue to hide caches in this town, as there are some amazing dirt trails and some incredible history and locations you could put out some more creative and thoughtful caches! I hope to come back in the future when there are even more caches out here!
Geocachers like you who live out in these rural towns need to be seriously thanked, as we wouldn't have amazing road trips without you. And the quality of the caches you have hidden and the locations you have highlighted was really top notch and I will be handing out favourite points, and putting this comment on all of your hides to thank you, and hopefully encourage you to stick with the game and make more people as happy as I was on this trip!
Many thanks! Keep it up! If you are ever in the Canberra region, shoot me a message and I will be happy to help you out in anyway I can!

Cache checked today and some drainage holes drilled for the rain. Cache okay but rubbish everywhere.
SO SNEAKY! Once again my friends had tried to find it before but couldn’t. I was in full searching mode. Such a good find and so well hidden! Amazing and greatest gratitude to the planter of it!
21,679. Found with minniek during our October Long Weekend Outback Adventure.
Day 2 of our October Long Weekend Outback NSW trip. After packing up camp and having brekkie at the Narrandera Bakery (a must do when in the area) we headed off for more caches. This was the next on the list for me. Parked near GZ and we walked over for a pretty quick find of the well built container. Then enjoyed the views !!

A long weekend brings with it a weekend of camping and caching. fitzy_1965 and I decided to do a loop from Goulburn out to Naranderra, Griffith, Condoblin and back home so I could pick up the last few counties out that way.
Up nice and early, packed and on the road to Griffith via Leeton. All quiet here today making for easy searching. Still took us a bit but soon made the sneaky find. Took TB.
