Thanks to everyone who has visited my cache. Unfortunately I can no longer keep replacing the specialised container required for this cache. So sadly I am archiving this cache.
It seems the cache has gone missing again. It is becoming expensive to keep replacing a specialised type of cache container. I'll see if I can source one cheaper...
Out with 1Minniemoo who is trying not to find too many caches right now, so she was happy to spend a day out in the sunshine with me collecting caches that mostly she had already found.
And what sunshine it was! The first day of spring but it felt like summer!
I'd stood right next to this cache last time we were here to launch kayaks. The others had found it before so didn't realise I hadn't. A nice quick find today while the council guy wasn't looking.

Thanks to another local cacher for the heads up. The cache appears to have taken a fall and not be where it should. I will collect the pieces and source another container.
This morning, I joined a group of enthusiastic Geocachers in kayaking the Pine River and nearby subsidiaries. It was a great morning to be paddling around, and I wasn't sure if I would be able to participate in this outing given my house contents were still in transit, but georode kindly offered me his kayak. It was great to trial that one out, and an overall effort of 10 km was paddled, although, the loss of a paddle end whilst we were near our distant turnaround point didn't help.
This was our first geocache find for the day, and the find was quick since it had already been found by the rest of the group before I arrived. Well camouflaged, and a similar cache hide to one that I had seen before. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks stealth seeker for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

A nearby event host by georode saw a few floating ornithologists in the area, while doing a spot of bird watching we converted a few geocaches into smiley's, this was one of the few we found, thanks for the hide, apologies if you receive this log on multiple caches, generic log 101 usually states that its annoying but I've been awake since 2am and my brain has stopped functioning...that's my excuse and I'll stick to it!
I almost forgot to look for this after attending a kayaking event launching from here. Spotted the icon on my map as I was preparing to log the other creek caches and wandered the short distance back to GZ to make the find. Spotted the cache immediately as I've found a number hidden in a similar manner over the years. TFTC stealth seeker
I found myself singing the Christmas carol as we searched for this one after a day spent kayaking on the Pine River. I'm a bit jealous that you get to live so close! Plenty of people using the river path today, but with more than ten geocachers around for cover, it was a quick and safe find here. I liked the appropriateness of the name and the hide, and we were careful to replace it so that it didn't stand out

Found while setting up to sail to an event today. Glad Slow Puncture made it easier when I mentioned there's a waypoint for a multi around here.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here stealth seeker.

Found and log signed as a team prior to attending the 4 Mile Creek Bird watching Event. This one took a little longer than expected to find but we got there in the end, thanks CO.

A new cache container has been sourced and now back in place ready and waiting to be found. Please be gentle with the container. Happy caching!
We have to temporarily disable to source a new container. Seeker found it on the ground and broken while going for a jog yesterday. Back in action soon. Fingers crossed.
After about 4 hours of paddling we arrived back on the beach and I suggested it might be easier to just leave our kayaks where they were rather than carrying them back up the hill. We all took a minute to contemplate the option before we started struggling back to the cars.
After we had strapped all the gear down someone kindly mentioned that there was a cache we had walked right by. Seeing I walk passed those koalas with white buckets looking for money all the time I needed to change my ways. tftc

Spotted this one on the map right where we launched the kayak. Had to grab it at the end of the paddle. TFTC!
Loaded the kayak onto the roof after today’s paddle but couldn’t leave with this one being so close. A quick wander back down and I was rewarded with a bonus smile for the day.
Wow,I needed this one for my grid & I have actually walked past it a number of times in the dark moving a yak to the water. TGG found this one quick smart discreetly around muggles.
Came out with Muggle65 as he wanted this DT combination for his grid. Had a good laugh as we had passed it on a few recent occasions putting yaks in the water. Great hide very well done. Thank you for placing this one
Out for a paddle today to grab a few Smiley's down 4 mile creek. It took me a while to home in on this cache as it is very cleverly disguised. Log signed and replaced as found.

Thursday. What a clever clever cache container! We read the hint and that really helped. Such a pretty little spot here. I was sure we’d been here not that long ago, but obviously if we had been, we weren’t out caching. Loved this cache container. We’ve seen similar, but this was very well done. Thanks for bringing us to this spot
This was the 3rd of 3 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***stealth seeker*** for showing us this place

Next, Mr CuriousQuest and I made our way to this cache. I quickly spotted it and was soon adding our names tot he log. TFTC
I was tired and on the way home after a big week at work, but still needed to find my cache for the day. This little green box was only a short detour off the motorway, so I took the exit and made my way to gz. A well placed container was discovered and the log signed and returned before any of the nearby muggles even noticed. Tftc stealth seeker!
Out and about with Selva Girls today. The cache was quickly located, log signed and replaced as found. TFTC
I see this spot from the highway on my home for the last 17yr, and now thanks to Covid19 that’s no more, so to celebrate I have a chance to find this cache. What a great spot thanks!
This cache is awesome. We love these kinds. Thank you for a great hide. we are amazed how muggles wont even notice it! we love that.
A good cache to find at the end of a kayak paddle.

Classic song by H&Cs and in a recent search, I note one critic describing H&C as 'Australian rock royalty'. It's good to see that they were in the neighbourhood recently playing all the classics.
I think previous trips to this area have been on foot while parked upstream. Memory warned me that the mozzies were going to be friendly but this time the midges took front and centre stage. Hard to see those little buggers even with the cache title bouncing around between the ears.
At GZ it was a quick find, a rarity from whats been occurring on recent trips. Nice to see the locals highlighting the neighbourhood gems, well done stealth seeker.

This was on our list for today. Parked and wandered down observing the skiers preparing for a morning on the water. Likely hide quickly spotted by us both and pleased to see we were spot on! Tftc
Oh my goodness gps had taken us further in then I realised that it is wheelchair friendly so took a few steps back and bang like a slap in the face. Tftc and a fav or from us
After a morning of domestic chores and caravan shopping, I found a few hours to get out and find a few caches. This cache had me for a minute and then I realised that the cache title was the best clue.
Found in good knick.

Very clever cache. We used to visit this spot a lot with our dog before he passed away from cancer last year. I hadn't been back since as it was too painful. Thank you for bringing me back. It is a great spot.
A super fun hide! Geo hubby walked right on down to the seat but I knew what has happening here

Happy gravy day!
I was in need of a traditional today for a certain challenge cache, just because I don’t have enough logs to write A quick look at the map and I was happy to see that I still had this one close to home.
Arriving at GZ, there was not a muggle to be spotted so I plucked the beasty from it’s hiding location. That’s when I look up to see a muggle hidden by bushes sitting on the stairs below. Thankfully he was too wrapped up in staring at his phone to notice me, might be playing with his pocket monsters.
After leaving my mark on the log I went down to enjoy the sunset from the beach.
Thanks for the cache stealth seeker

Today I decided to go for a paddle in my kayak up Four Mile Creek. Hidden by a mate and a year old, I'm already kicking myself for not getting there sooner. Though he suggested a launch point several postcodes away and I decided that was a silly idea. I knew this area existed but didn't know there were parks here as such. I was willing to hump my kayak down a steep slope and launch off a muddy bank.
Down the length of Pine River Road and lo, there is a fully-rigged park here. *And* it has a canoe launch point. Golden! I still have to hump my kayak off the roof of my car and down the hill though. But, still, this is all very civilised.
Eight kilometres later, I'm back on the sandy beach, though significantly lower than before thanks to two hours of outgoing tide. I hump my kayak back up and onto the car, wash off and set about thinking about this geocache which I'd seen on the map two hours ago.
Maybe I was in the right headspace, or maybe I'd just walked past it several times, but when I followed my phone to the right location I quickly spotted a thing and that thing was the geocache. Co-ordinates smack-on for me today!
I did my thing with the logbook before replacing all exactly as found. I then took a few moments to appreciate the serenity and scene before me. But really, I've only rinsed off the mud and smell of a combination of sweat, salt, sunscreen and bug spray. And tired. I'm keen to get home now. Thanks for this bonus geocache, stealth seeker

Called in here while out on a WWW ride from Petrie to Redcliffe ( well and excuse for coffee and cake ( Lemon meringue sponge today's specialty).
iPhone did not seem to like this location and had me some distance from the correct GZ. The Oregon came into its own and soon settled on a spot where the cache came to light shortly after.
This is indeed a good spot to launch for a kayak adventure or 2.

My mum is moving away from this area and this little green dot needed dealing with before that happened. I love this area as have been here numerous times before (before this GC was here). Had a look around and spotted something that looked out of place. Bingo the cache.

After an errand, I headed a little further north to collect this cache. It is indeed a pretty place! Thanks to spot on co-ords I was able to quickly see what was odd, and the cache was in the first spot I checked [^] I enjoyed a little walk down to the water before heading home. Pprime, 1MinnieMoo, and I had been out on the boats and we decided to grab this cache.
There was a few people about - none of which we were interested in us. 1MinnieMoo noticed something and sure enough it was the clever cache. We signed the log and re-hid the cache as found.

After heading out with Fangsoki and PPrime on the kayaks, we loaded up the beasts on the cars and headed over to look for this one. Something caught my eye upon approach, and I think PPrime had the same idea, because as he touched one spot, I successfully retrieved the cache where I was.
Nicely camoed job here. And a nice cache to end our day’s adventures with. Thanks for the cache stealth seeker.

After battling a headcold this past fortnight, a day in the sun and salt beckoned. I talked the Moo into yakking along with me, and the CO Fangsoki himself to make sure we didn't get lost. Well, we'd paddled, we signed, we'd squelched, we returned. We hobbled back to and re-loaded the car and went for a little walk to get the legs moving again. At GZ I zeroed in on a likely spot - but the Moo was more on the money and so a pretty cool logsheet was soon signed.
Thanks stealth seeker for entertaining me at this location.
