Find #: 3,741Companions: NoneMuggles: A few passing byWeather: Pleasant spring morningCache condition: GoodI decided to go for a jog 'n cache in the area, and this was my third find. I had searched for this earlier in the year unsuccessfully, but this time had few issues - how did I miss that last time?! TNLNSL TFTC
Quick find on way to a Geocaching NSW social event. Thanks GeoMonster10. OCW SurdiVisio
A new find to keep my streak going. Too wet today but gotta get CIH. Glad that I found and logged 24 so far. And 4 solved + yet to be visited. Mostly outside Sydney metropolitan zone. A few of these are currently disabled. Hope to complete the rest by the end of this year. TFTC GeoMonster10
TFTC. Took a little while to find but it is still there. Had to extend up a bit from where my phone wanted but made sense otherwise
Thought I have a go at finding this cache this morning. I spent about a good five minutes trying to find it. Its a pretty busy location at this time of the day so I didnt want to spend too much time, I looked suspicious as it is already looking at various possibilities Not for today!!
I solved this a while ago, and it has taken a while to visit. It was getting quite dark by the time I got there, but logs indicate that it is necessary to forage anyway, which wasn't successful sadly
We are on a short (three day) caching holiday in and around Camden, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Poplar Tourist Park in Elderslie. Hoping to collect some previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some Adventure Labs, and find as many different cache icon types as we can to go towards this month’s "Wheel of Challenges" souvenir chase. The homeward journey will be via Galston, where we have pre-booked tickets for the Sunday running of the Hornsby Model Engineers Galston Valley Model Railway. Photos will be uploaded to some (most) logs on our return to home base.
Today (day 3) we were on our way back home, going via Galston for our booked session at the Galston Valley Model Railway, but we still managed to find some caches along the way. Stopped off at Narellan for a few Traditional caches before hopping onto the M7 Motorway, then collected some "park & grab" caches along Gilbert Road at Castle Hill before arriving at the Model Railway at Galston. After a fun few hours of watching & riding model trains we stopped for one last previously solved Mystery/Puzzle cache at Galston, before heading for home via Galston Gorge. This was the 4th of 10 finds for the day (day 3), and 52nd find of the holiday.
After exiting the M7 Motorway at Bella Vista this previously solved puzzle cache was the first cache on our target list that we came to, and it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Thanks GeoMonster10 for the puzzle & cache.

Owl and Eagle were in the area for a conference and heading back to the airport via a lego store. And a puzzle cache Owl had solved in the hope she might actually get to find it. The log hint helped but it really was a process of elimination.
A good puzzle i managed to solve on my own, mostly. Came today to collect and with the help of a log made the find. SL and replaced. TFTC.
Mrs Gaztek solved this puzzle when we were last in the area in October and learned a lot about D12 that she never expected to know! Today we stopped at GZ and searched a little longer than we expected. We found that if you subtract .04 from the easterling you will be closer to the container. Previous cachers mentioned purple flowers. Today there are tons of fragrant, white flowers. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Icon appeared on the gps en-route to another cache so quick detour for a bonus smiley on today’s agenda.

After dropping my Snuggle-Muggle off for her next rehab session, it was time for some caching while I waited.
Coordinates solved a while back. This is another insignificant location so I'm not sure why the CO wanted to show me this spot by placing a cache here. Like the previous finder, I did like the purple flowers here.
Still, a find is a find although for me, the coordinates were out by 9m today.
Thanks.

Not really my type of music however I did enjoy the beautiful purple flowers at GZ, nice hide! SL and returned as found. TFTC GeoMonster10!
TFTC. A nice quick find after solving all the questions. Thanks to another geocacher for letting me know one answer was wrong. I’m visiting from the Hunter Valley.
I solved this upon release with a little difficulty with inconsistent information. Last year I attempted to find this with no luck due to peak hour traffic pressure and being watched by local workers. Now back I tried the same places again but expanded my search and eventually laid my hand where I couldn’t see. Signed log, TFTC
Found by Mr S, Little Shoes and Shoes Junior while Ms S was picking something up across the road. Signed as The Shoes x3, TFTC.
Found this one while Mum was getting something from the nearby shops. signed as 'the shoes x3' TFTC
Solved the puzzle at Coffee, Cakes and Conundrums then headed out at sunset to find with the dog. Some ambiguity in the puzzle but I figured it out eventually.
There was a fairly logical spot at GZ. Searched a few spots and found it on the second one with the hint. Good thing too as it’s an exposed location.
Thanks for the cache!

A nice little puzzle solved in the field after finding the nearby traditional “Small Discovery”
Though I thought I’d stuffed this one when I did my initial calculations, but soon realised my error.
Google was once again my best friend, and helped me with the requisite detail.
Not certain if it’s a little mistake or a little misdirection, but either way, an interesting puzzle, exposing me to a band I’d never heard of before.

Solved these puzzles during the really wet downpour week we had a while ago.
I'd never heard of this band but just 2 nights ago in the wee small hours while I was waiting for the right players to come on court at the French Open Tennnis I flicked around the channels and came across some quiz show. I watched for about 5 minutes and low and behold D12 was the answer to one of the questions!
Then they played a small snippet of them performing and now I can say I've seen them!
So today my comp tennis was in Castle Hill and I was in the dud position in the draw where you sit off for 2 sets so I jumped in the geomobile and drove over here, very close indeed.
I found the cache which was about 10m out for me which surprised me as usually your co-ordinates are very good GeoMonster10.
Of course it started raining while I was here and that was the end of the tennis.
I felt very satisfied though as I'd made a cache find!

Reasonably quick find after a progressive search. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
After completing a nearby Adventure Lab "William Thompson Masonic School" I decided to check out some other hidesin the vicinity.
I checked all the barriers before getting the right one. I should have started on the high side; less farmers friends also. TFTC

#7822 (4 of 4 today)
More calendar finds needed for today, and headed for Kings Langley and the newest offerings in the *Lauren's Legacy* series.
Walked between the first two, but then took *The Hademobile* to the last. Muggles everywhere, but managed to negotiate them all.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Time for one more, so went for a previous DNF.
I'd noted the recent logs and as a result made a quick find here. I'm sure I looked there last time...
Signed replaced and headed home.

Dropped into Clark rubber for some angle samples and collected this upon my journeys between jobs
As we were nearby looking at light fittings we took the opportunity to grab this one.

On the way back from Bella Vista I was cycling this way. I had solved this puzzle a few days prior, so it was time to pick it up. I did have two attempts at solving the puzzle, but I think I had misread one of the answers in my research. And I'm sure the first question should read "201A". Other than that, it was a straight-forward solve; something I could manage. Not that I can say I've even heard about this band. But that's probably because I'm a fuddy-duddy with a different taste in music.
The find was a little more tricky, though. I was sure I was in the right place, but my GPSr kept drifting, and I kept walking up and down, searching in the obvious places. Eventually, I saw something that caught my eye - a dash of colour, and there I had the critter.

Streak Day #2777 - After solving last night at CCC, Dave8153 and i stopped here for a quick find. TFTC
Out for a few calendar day finds late in the day. Was hoping for three, and had four new caches out Castle Hill way. Might as well try there.
The first I tried was a DNF, and another one had a worrying log dated today, so ended up not attempting it.
Got the other two though, one being a previous DNF.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Started with the DNF.
Parked just around the corner and made my way to GZ.
Well a likely GZ was spotted, but that was all that was spotted. Spread out my search area a little but still no joy.
I'll be interested to see if anyone else manages to find what I couldn't.

This one had been solved when it was first published and today we were in the area with ilook4geo so we decided to look for it. There really were limited places it could be hiding, so the find was quick and easy. The log was soon signed with both names and all was returned to its proper place.
Thanks go to GeoMonster10 for this cache placement.

An easy puzzle for a band I never heard of. Once I approached GZ, I had a good idea where the cache could be hidden. The first grab has CIH.

Got it on attempt #2 due to getting the incorrect year for the devils night mixtape, and not bothering to check the coordinates before leaving the house haha.
Only D12 song I know is ‘My Band’, always thought of them as a one hit wonder.

A late night solve in preparation for a drive to the CITO in the area.
I think A should be 201A and B had various answers on various sites. But I got there.
Today I parked nearby and a short walk and a longer than expected search until I saw it.

Quick find to keep the streak going. SL #4786 on streak day #3117 TFTC chatted with Blacktownman while waiting for Deep_99 to arrive.
After arriving home from today's community kayak event I spotted that this had popped up close to home. A quick solve an dI was off as I needed to get to Bunnings anyway. I was a little hopeful of a FTF on home territory, but alas my aquatic activities had meant that I was too late.
Coords were spot on.

GZ looks like someone’s house! Had a quick search around the only spots I could see where the hint would make sense, however residents kept driving up and down and I would have looked suss. DNF for now.
Edit - I had the wrong coordinates, number A threw me off.
